"BMP is a great place to hang out, especially for groups! I've done karaoke here a couple of times and have had a lot of fun. They have two karaoke rooms. I've only been in the larger one. I would estimate that it can accommodate about 10-15 people comfortably. They have an extensive song catalog which you can access via QR code. It's very easy and straightforward to use. The dining area is a moderate size and they have a nice patio out front. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. They have reverse happy hour on Fridays after 9 pm.Drinks: Some of the cocktails that I've tried are the GQCucumber, the Red Panda, and the Sunset in Sulu. They also have mimosa and beer towers. On one visit, the server brought us a water tower which was so convenient for our large group.Food: The one dish that I've tried a few times and have consistently enjoyed is the Veggie Lumpia. The Brussels were too sweet and had way too much sauce. The Cucumber Salad is okay. It's tart and vinegar forward. It's not a salad, it's more like marinated sliced cucumbers. The Chickcharons aren't bad, but they are very greasy. Some pieces were a little too chewy for my preference. BMP shares a private lot with a few other businesses. There's a decent amount of parking and I've never had trouble getting a spot. There's also some street spots on 5th as well as Yale right in front of the shopping complex. BMP is a cool place with a cool vibe. I'm looking forward to coming back (and maybe trying an actual entrée)."
"Gerry's grill always is a must visit for me each time I'm in Houston. Max's failed miserably a few days after a great review for unsatisfying service and substandard pork sinigang. So here we were in Gerry's Grill with a Houstonian long time friend welcomed with handshakes and greetings from the regulars lol. We had grilled pusit, sinigang pork, kare2, crab fried rice, (they heated the brown rice I brought!---thank you!, and crispy pata. Calamansi juice was thirst quenching (Philippine lime) Friendly with live singing, clean, professional staff. A great way to enjoy food and friends/family Either you're a Filipino or not!!!"

"Located in the food court at Understory in downtown Houston, my friend and I decided to eat here since we had passed it on the way to and away from the restroom (lol) and my god, the smell was hard to pass on. I never usually eat Filipino food but always knew they made food with great flavors. My friend and I settled on the mini kamayan, and like everyone else said, it definitely feeds 3-4 people instead of the 2 people stated on their menu. What a great value! The rice had a buttery/garlicky taste that was oh so good. The different meats within the kamayan all had their own flavors and textures. I was extremely impressed that I liked all of them. My favorite would probably be the grounded patties. The kamayan also comes with a sweet and sour sauce and gravy that compliments the meats. Shoutout to the workers there that night who really took care of me and my friend! They were the sweetest and had great energy."
"Everything here is so so good! They're under new management and it's been great! Normally I don't eat at Filipino restaurants because it's mostly disappointing but Pinoy Gourmet is the only one I absolutely love. We've ordered catering from here and have also dined in. Their BANGUS SISIG is delicious! (Better than Gerry's grill) Anddd their halo halo has so much flavor! It's filled with leche flan, ube halaya, jackfruit, coconut, and so much more. The restaurant itself is very nice and is in a great location. You can actually rent out the whole place for parties too which I plan to do for my mom's 70th birthday. Our favorite catering items include-Egg rollsPalabokKaldereta"

Let me try and get specific, ha.I came here for a bday party for 15 + on a Saturday night. We were in the karaoke room. But I also spent a little time at the bar as well. It was actually a pretty tight fit for our group. I wonder if they have larger rooms?Anyway, it was my first time Karoking, at an actual restaurant, and not a karoke designated spot or club. I have some thoughts about the layout, but I will focus on my experience.Service - Kevin was our server and host for the night. He came with good energy and a positive attitude. We were a rowdy bunch. He did his level best to keep our 4 to 5 different billing groups straight. There are no individual bills in the party room. Food - they had HRW 23 menu available, but I got too distracted with the singing to figure out what to order. So I ordered small. Lumpia Shangia was good, but portions were not ideal. I had a couple of bites of the chickcharon that wasn't bad.Drinks - I got the BMP Rita to start it was fair. Next, I got the Sunset in Sulu, and it was also not bad. Last, I got Thai shots for the bday boy and friends. It was just enough sweet to balance the liquor. I enjoyed it. Then the bosses of the place #Blessed us with a bottle of Champagne, so sweet! Cheers to us!Karaoke Room- had a large collection of songs, including explicit lyrics/language. Easy process to sign up for songs and keep the party engaged, with QR code and playlist online. The room felt too tight, but maybe our group size was over capacity? They placed 2 large tables and a plastic overlay to connect the 2 tables to make 1 long table. With chairs with zero space in between them surrounding the tables. Parking - they have a lot, not super big, but enough. Thanks for being so good to us that night, BMP!

I was introduced to this place during a tunnel tour and they said it was some of the best Filipino food in Houston and has been named that for years so I knew I had to try it. The pictures were beautiful and the idea of lechon kawali had me firm in this decision for this place for lunch! I got a lechon kawali plate which included garlic rice.I thought it was good but very salty. Too salty for me to finish tbh. But portions and prices were excellent. I hear the burgers there are delicious so I'd come back to try them.

Okay. This place is good, and consistently good. It definitely helps it's open in the morning for breakfast, because I am a morning person. I've been getting tired of my American breakfasts of heavy processed carbs on carbs in carb sauce and carb sprinkles, with 2oz. of meat. Once again, I must confess I don't seem to know enough about yet another of my heritages. As a kind-of outsider, but I think I know enough(!), I enjoy the food here that I've had. My mom didn't cook these foods, but my aunt is a wonderful cook. I never crave other people's versions of her dishes. I often feel sullen with others' versions of dishes. I'm okay when I can't eat my aunt's cooking because I can go to this place. From a good-home quality. It's very American friendly. But maybe it's also authentic enough because I'm hearing lots of people speaking Tagalog.Ambiance is clean. Bathroom is wonderfully modern and clean. Flatware comes in its own basket, and the table water is in a bottle. All that, but know it can be loud here, fast. Sometimes it's the music. Sometimes it's that patrons have filtered in. Filipino food is a combo of indigenous, I'm guessing, and definitely East and South Asian, and Spanish. Pre-Christianity, it was Muslim. Before then, idk.

Food was very good. I think timing is everything with this restaurant. It's a small Buffay. Very good authentic food. A little slow on refilling the empty dishes on the Buffay. But it was quiet and relaxed. And I would recommend it.

Wife and I go here a few times. We love the Halo-halo. Service is very friendly oriented like a small cafe that feels welcoming and vibrant. Food was fair but I am always happy to see more Filipino places to eat out in the cit of Houston. I recommend the Halo-Halo.

The food is yummy! Definitely a must try in the Post Houston food hall! The Pinoy chicken plate is in point. Chicken is juicy and packed with flavor.Today I tried The veggie lumpa is stuffed with pancit, carrots and mushroom. They had a good crunch. My favorite part was the bites of mushroom inside. Not sure what mushroom they used, but it was yummy when I came across those. You get a dipping sauce that has a little spice.

"This was better than I expected. My buddy found this spot so we checked it out. Parking is easy. We visited for lunch on a weekday. The food is buffet style all you can eat. The food was very tasty and fresh. If you like this kind of food you will enjoy the restaurant. The price was good and cheap and the restaurant was easy to get in and out. Overall good experience and will go again."
"Being a Filipina, I'm so glad that we have a great spot here to pick up some Filipino snacks and specialty drinks, especially during this summer heat! Their Siopao Asado (steamed buns w/shredded chicken and a sweet garlic/soy sauce on the side) is so good, and if you'd like to try it on the go or in their cafe, they can warm it up for you while you take the rest of the pack home, since they sell by the pack. The Beef Lumpia Shanghai (Filipino egg rolls) are also tasty! The drink menu is extensive and colorful, and they of course have Halo-Halo here, a Filipino dessert staple! I haven't tried their Halo-Halo yet, but their UBAE Bee Milk Tea is a nice sweet treat. I love that they use actual Ube Halaya in it and not a powder base. The customer service was also so kind and efficient! Their cafe is also really clean and quaint. Overall, I'm so glad that iSnak is representing well and that I don't have to travel to Cali just to get some decent Filipino snacks (aside from my family's home cooking of course), but truly I know where I'll be to satisfy my Ube cravings on the go. I'll be back to try more, and especially since they cater some party trays too!"
"This place is a sleeper! You've got amazing chefs on this project. Putting out high quality food to a food hall location. Some of the best Filipino bbq pork I've ever had. Most definitely the Lumpia was the best I've tried. Watching them make it in front of you was also a treat. There's not too many Filipino food spots in Houston. And this place just set the bar. It's located inside the Post building. I really enjoyed the food and service. Would definitely recommend it. A great place to try Filipino cuisine if you haven't beforeRecommendation: pork lumpia and bbq pork"
"If you want "To Go" and find some great Filipino food, look no further.Located inside one of the worst H-E-B locations you could ever visit, this is actually a pretty good Filipino food place, in fact it can be amazing, and one which I tend to stop by now and again, usually with my girlfriend. And while it's not some kind of gourmet Filipino restaurant, not that you'd want it to be as these little stands usually have the best food, it definitely has some treats and some interesting homemade snacks that are well worth the try. In fact, all things considered, I would say this is literally the only reason we will ever come inside such a bad grocery store again."
