"Every once in awhile, my sweet tooth kicks in and one of my favorite comfort sweet treats is a good ole donut. Voodoo is my late night option when the cravings hit. Bonus is that they are open 24 hours. When Voodoo decided to come to Houston, they started at this location. Now there are two other locations as well. The lot is small here, but they do have a drive thru. I always go in so I can see all the creations in person. Customer service is hit or miss depending on when you come in. This is an in and out kinda place in my opinion so it's whatever. As far as variety, this place has the craziest donut creations. You can get a voodoo doll donut, a maple blazer blunt or even a cock n' balls. Not sure what that taste likes. You also have vegan options here as well. I don't like anything overly sweet with lots of jellies or creams so I always stick to my favorite apple fritter or a buttermilk bar. Don't sleep on them old fashioned donuts either. All these go great with a good cup or coffee or a cold glass of milk.I don't come here often, but it is one of my go to places when the sweet tooth kicks in late at night. I will be back."

"Donut shops are big business in Texas and many of them tend to be like a small cafe, Asian owned, and catering to a very local crowd. Le Donut is no exception and generally do a good job with most of what they offer. While it might seem like they're like other donut spots, they definitely do some things better than others. Also, I think the name is genius. (#1)In the mornings, this place smells like a fresh bakery. There is a steady flow of Med Center professionals coming in and out with their hot coffee, donuts and/or sandwiches. It's a fun scene, albeit a busy one, and easily the busiest store in their mini strip-mall plaza. Parking is solid, but can be a tad tough when they're at capacity.I'm a sucker for cake donuts over yeast ones and I'm pleased to report Le has a good number of both. The bavarian and sprinkles are always going to be a big hit with the youngins, but I personally enjoy their apple fritters, bear claws, eclairs, and plain glazed. Most of the flavors offered are typical but all are certainly worth trying. If cronuts are available, get all of them. For a dozen donuts, it's roughly $13.I am an even bigger fan of their ham and cheese croissant, as well as their selection of kolaches. For the latter, they have a jumbo sausage and cheese that is tasty and the jalapeño version is even better. The bacon, egg, and cheese kolache is in such demand that it's almost always out. Boudin and smoked brisket are always good choices. It's actually one of the better kolache spots in the area and should be heated up prior to consumption.The staff is super nice. They're really generous with dropping a few donut holes here and there and do a good job with the arrangements / packaging. These ladies never rush even if there are others waiting and generally do it all with a smile.They close promptly each day at 1pm or whenever they sell out. They accept credit cards and/or cash. We got some mini donuts in their flavors of choice, they loved watching them getting made, and the flavor was phenomenal! "Who doesn't love Voodoo Doughnut? If you have not heard of it yet, this location is based on the original bakery in Portland. What I really enjoy is that this location is open 24 hours and also has such a wide variety of donuts. Whether you want flour doughnuts, cake doughnuts, or vegan doughnuts, there is a style and flavor for everyone. At this location in particular, I had a specialty caramel macchiato doughnut that I actually still think about to this day."

"DID SOMEONE SAY PEPPERONI PIZZA KOLACHE???Great little Kolache spot! Stopped here to buy my grandson some breakfast before dropping him off to school. I checked in on Yelp and received a free donut and boy was my grandson happy about that, lol! He ordered a plain beef Kolache with no cheese as if he knew what he was doing. I asked him "how do you know what you want right away? You haven't looked at all the other choices." He said, "Pawpaw brings me here for breakfast sometimes before taking me to school." I was like, "ohhh I see!" Originally, I was only here for my grandson until I scanned the array of Kolache sandwiches behind the counter and I was like, "Whoah! I think I want a Kolache too!" I'm not a breakfast person during the week so this was an extremely tempting situation for me, and one that I could not resist! I succumbed to the rich buttery aroma that was hovering in the atmosphere! I was so lost as I attempted to choose just one Kolache. This task proved to be a difficult one. In the end, I settled for a plain beef Kolache with no cheese because my grandson says that it's great! He was correct! I enjoyed it a little too much. Instead of eating it, I scarfed it down as if I was starving, lol. However, I was able to taste the rich robust and sweet buttery flavor of the croissant which tasted really great with the flavor of the beef sausage. What a great mixture of infused flavors! Next time, and yes there's definitely going to be a next-time, I'm going to try a different Kolache. Maybe, I'll try the brisket Kolache, or maybe the boudin Kolache, or maybe the Philly Cheesesteak Kolache, or maybe the cheeseburger Kolache, or maybe the Chicken Feta Cheese Kolache, or maybe the PEPPERONI PIZZA KOLACHE! Didn't I tell ya? It's no easy task when it should be, lol. There's an extensive selection which makes it difficult but it's worth it! Overall, this establishment is really nice! They are open as early as 6:00 am during the week and it seems like it can get pretty busy as there was a slight line when my son and I arrived around 6:30 am. Customer service is good. It's not anything special to brag about but it's good. Highly recommended!"
