Anchor & Hearth Woodfired Kitchen

Me and the husband wanted an impromtu stay somewhere nice and had heard that this hotel had recently opened up AND that the restaurant inside of it Anchor and Heath is wonderful! Well.... It did not disappoint. It was AMAZING. Irene, our wait staff at Anchor and Hearth for dinner AND breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! Every single item we ate was absolutely wonderful!!! Hats off to the chef. Phenomenal job having all the different flavors come to life. Our bartenders were awesome and worked with me since I am 6 months pregnant and wanted a mock tail margarita... on top of that, they were funny. Everyone providing service was awesome and the hotel with this restaurant is amazing as well. LOVED it!!!

Absolutely great food. Eva was our severer and was great. Scallops were fantastic and bread pudding was my all time favorite.

My buddy and I ate here this morning because of the good reviews. We both felt like the food was fantastic. Apparently other people saw the reviews because they were packed. The service was a little slow but we really didn't mind. The food was worth waiting for. It is in the Baytown convention center, inside of the Hilton hotel. It's right on the water so you can see a little bit of bay and the ship channel. At least it's water. Lol. We definitely plan to eat here again. Check out their menu.

The restaurant constantly amazes me. I stayed again at the hotel and found some new entrees - now some new favorites! For dinner I had scallops served on bucatini. Seasons and seared perfectly, the scallops were delicious. The bucatini was cooked in a pesto sauce, maximizing the shape of the pasta.For lunch, I had the short rib grilled cheese and smoked tomato soup. The sandwich was crispy on the outside and ooey gooey deliciousness on the inside.Service is always great.Folks - this is a great restaurant!

The hospitality was great. Our server George was quick and well mannered, would love to have him again! I loved the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, the lighting was very spectacular. As of the food, it was very tasty. I had the octopus and ceviche, both were prepared well! I will definitely go return in the near future!

New restaurant in the area. Good food. We will definitely be back! We had lunch and want to try both breakfast and dinner.
