The quantity of food for the price was nice but the variety is eh. Staff is friendly. One could tell I was not local to this neighborhood based on my casual clothes if not also how I looked. So when I showed up with this order, you know that I must be a hard core TooGoodToGo person. The chicken here is respectable but nothing special. I suspect the same w the Mac. This is good for simpler meals for reasonable prices.

Spent the weekend in Philly as it was move in weekend for my daughter at college. On our last day I was craving some soul food and after doing some research found this spot. Now it's not a fancy place to eat. I did get the feel we were in the hood which is not a big deal. Some of the best food is found right in the hood. I realized why she looked so familiar and it was from a show on BET... Was a lil pricey and I do wish there was a bit of more seasoning. We ordered a bit of everything and the wings were my fav. The Turkey wings were ok. My friend enjoyed the salmon . She def needs to work on making the place look more presentable but it's not meant to be a fancy establishment. She was friendly and I would def return for another chance at the food.

I have to be upfront it is super duper hot in here!!! But the food was amazing! I had the chicken Alfredo fries and the Turkey wing meal! The Cajun Turkey wings were delish, Mac and cheese on point and yams were sweet and tender! I will definitely be returning next time I am in Philly! Tone on the grill have great customer service and I met the owner ( On Trap Queens) and she was very nice and welcoming!!!

Delicious soul food. They're extremely generous with the portions. I will deftly visit again.

Today 5/20/24 ordered 2 full meals while at a conference and had it door dashed. 1st we only received 1 order of what we ordered. we called and owner said you can come pick it up! we are at a conference we can't leave that's why we door dashed!!!! 2nd the yams were canned and dry i have provided pics. i would not recommend this place

Horrible. I was so excited to try this place as it had good reviews on UberEats and being from the South it's hard finding good soul food in the North. I spent 70.00 only to end up with numerous (3) sides (4.00 a piece) missing entirely from the order. Wings incredibly dry. Corn tasted rotten. Mac n cheese was bland. And the packaging was so horrible that when the poor driver went to lift the bag to hand me my food the bottom of the paper bag was wet and all the containers come falling out. Spilling food juice all in the drivers passenger seat.

Let me say this first hands down fire food nice people a clean & respectable place. I'm from Seattle Washington and I first seen this woman who made this place on American gangster trap Queens I respect her hustle where she came from and how she changed her life around a lot says a lot about her character & how people can actually change this place is definitely a place I will come to every time I come to Philly
