Probably a 4.5 and a really good stop. Came in a Saturday before heading to a Nova game at the Wells Fargo. Really clean, well lit counter on entering with helpful, friendly staff working. Ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and a chicken tenders platter. Head through the kitchen to the dining room. Plenty of local memorabilia as well as Birds, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers. They bring your food to the table. The cheesesteak was really good. As was the chicken. Like I said. Could go higher. This is my only visit so will definitely go again.

First time in Philly visiting from California. Me and some friend wanted to try some authentic philly cheesesteak and this place did not disappoint. Everything came out fresh and hot. All i can say is Wow. I highly recommend this place. The owner was so nice. I like to thank her for the hospitality.

Phil & Jim's Authentis Steak & Hoagies definitely has a pretty solid cheesesteak. The staff was friendly and got me my food in no time flat. The place in appearance is what you would expect from a deli, not heavy on fancy ambiance, but delis are not supposed to be a swank or upscale vibe. As I said, they have a very good cheesesteak and I would definitely recommend Phil & Jim's Authentic Steak & Hoagies.

This place is so good. The service is very fast and friendly. I don't have any other cheesesteak to compare it to as it is my first and I'm leaving the area, but I don't think it will disappoint discerning cheesesteak consumers. The fries are crispy and salty yumminess. It's a quiet place, except for the clanging utensils on the grill chopping up the meat! Nice neighborhood place.

I've wanted to go here for a long time. Finally made it, coming back from the airport. I got the Super Italian and my gf got a Cheesesteak. Both were really great. Meat sliced up right in front of you and piled high. Quality ingredients for a great hoagie. Got the 18" which are really 2 meals. Definitely will be back.

I order from here all the time.Would highly recommend ordering on their website because it allows you to easily customize your cheesesteak order instead of having to say it all out loud. This is especially useful if you're ordering for a group. They're always on time with the estimated pick up times.Was not a cheesesteak guy until trying one here and waking up.I tried their Buffalo chicken cheesesteak today and it was really good.A good combination of spicy, salty, sour contrasting with the provolone cheese and good bread.

My friends recommended that that I stop at Phil & Jim's for a cheese steak while I'm in town for work. I was not disappointed. Fast & friendly service. Huge cheese steak for $12 and it's the "regular". Fresh roll. Side of fries with cheese sauce. Thanks!

As a college soccer coach Gia was hands down the easiest and most efficient person I've worked with when ordering food for after a match. Gia made it super easy to order 36 total subs and upon delivery they were all packaged individually and all 36 cheesesteaks/chicken cheesesteaks were accounted for. She also had a cheesesteak bowl option for a player who has a gluten allergy. Gia provided plenty of utensils which made it easy to eat on the bus. The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks meat were fresh and the bread was top notch! Made for a delightful sandwich to eat!We will be 1000% be back in the future and I recommend to any teams traveling down that way to reach out as they will not be disappointed!!

Just had my first hoagie in a long time. The Italian special was darn near perfect with fresh roll, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on top of tasty meats and cheeses. A bit chaotic inside but worth it.
