This was my 1st time dining @NiftyFifty's Food was great, atmosphere very nice. Family friendly. Customer service was outstanding! We had a party of 9 adults. The food was ready in record time. It's a great place to eat. They even have take out as well. Large portions and a huge variety of milkshakes. You won't be disappointed.

Hadn't been here in a very long time but my friend took me here today for lunch. Long story short two hours after leaving we were both spewing out both ends. No clue what happened, the only thing we shared were the cheese fries and she had a few sips of my butterscotch krimpet milkshake, but it was about $50 total with tip (check 182 table 3 on 6/19/24) and it all wound up blowing out of our bodies for like eight hours.

I thought I would've loved my burger but it was just OK, nothing special at all and barely any seasoning. The onion rings were good though and seasoned very well. I may try them again when I'm back in town only because my family said they're good is delicious.

Refused to accommodate me and give me a inside out Texas ringer with waffles instead of buns, maple syrup instead of ringer sauce served inside a butter pecan milkshake. Unfortunate they had to lose a customer. Would have been an easy fix.

Excellent customer service here.Before coming into the establishment, my friends and I saw a poor woman on the ground. She was already being properly helped and all we could do was wish her well. It was extremely hot on this day.Even though the food wasn't on-par for some of my friends, it was well done for what Nifty Fiftys is and I felt it deserves 5 stars even though it was 4 stars for me personally.I had a take out soda of vanilla creme and toasted marshmallow which was delicious (unpictured) in addition to bubblegum and cotton candy which was also good. The soda flavor combinations and milkshake flavors are "innumerable" and that is why you come here!I mean, you could try out a cookie dough lemonade, if you so dare!Their burgers are respectable but I like Charlie's down the street more and some of the mainstream fast food ones lol. I purposely picked one with lettuce and tomato in it this time around. I thought onion rings were included on the side but that was extra and too much food. Was going to pick food off my relatives instead but they never finish theirs and it just went to waste :(One of my friends didn't like the filet mignon because it was too "diner" like for him. So it made me sense that the food was done well but just not his preference and that Nifty Fiftys is literally a diner type setting. So very appropriate food.Another one of my friends didn't like her chicken cheesesteak and she was the one who chose the place cause she misses Chee Chee Burger. Across the street almost is Delco steaks but they don't have sit down or little placemats for kids to use. Sometimes experiences are more about time spent together with other people than the food.

We first went to Nifty Fifty's...over 35 years ago?...and I'm pleased to report it's much more like it always was than different, which is good. You don't get enormous burgers but they're more like burgers used to be before fast food and fast casual took over the burger space, and that's fine. The spicy cheese fries are still the lovable cholesterol-laden delicious treat I remembered. The chili is still bland but tasty. The shakes are still great. The 'hiya hon' service has survived and is being administered by the third generation, at least, of servers.And it's also an impossibly crowded and hard to navigate parking lot, you probably will have to wait to get in, and the booths, while the same size they always were, seem to have gotten more cramped. (Maybe because I ate too many Nifty Fifty's burgers back in the day instead of exercising and eating kale.) This was always the downside of coming here, and it's also exactly the same.We alas did not have a chance to get breakfast, which I remember as more laid-back, but we had a good time talking with random strangers, which is always lovely. Nifty's is a safe space; it's almost meta-nostalgia now, but unlike most such places, this one has withstood the test of time and remains true to its basic character.

food was okay yet i found hair in my partners loaded French fries, my partner was so excited to bring me to this place to get fries and a shake but they lost their appetite as soon as they picked out a long cheesy hair the worst part about it they didn't notice the hair until they were half way done their hairy fries. My partner was so frustrated and disappointed with the establishment knowing it was our first visit and having to deal with something that ruined our time.

Wait time is horrendous, if you order ahead on the phone they won't start cooking your food til they see you in person. If you order on door dash it'll say the food is ready but will take an additional 15mins. If you finally do get seated here, they will serve customers before you even if they arrived after you. I've had to walk out numerous times because after 30 mins they didn't ask what I wanted to drink. Wouldn't recommend this location.

TLDR: if you want to eat there, go in then go to your right. Do not order at pickup. It's ok. I've tried the cheese fries, onion rings, onion ring sauce, black and white milkshake The service is ok. Far from overbearing but more could have been done. You have to know if you want to eat there or takeout. There's no changing from take out to eat in after ordering and paying unless you want to pick up a to go bag from the front, Listening closely for your name until it's ready. You would have to sit and eat at the bar looking area not a booth or wherever. The cheese fries were served cold, soggy even, but the onion rings were great. The onion ring sauce is like a horseradish that doesn't make you snot or anything. I would not be surprised if the ingredients are or at least includes: ketchup, mayo, horseradish. It's a solid milkshake option. Ambiance is the 50s look to the point that the signs do not match the current menu. Such as crab cakes
