I don't know how I made it a year living in SP without coming to Izzy's, BUT now that I've had it I don't know how I'll stop!!! The French toast and cubano sandwich were so tasty. I also ordered a lemonade which was a nice balance of tart and sweet. Service was great and friendly even though it was a busy Saturday. We sat in their patio, which was beautiful! I'd totally recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood.

I was looking to try a different restaurant for breakfast and was intrigued by Izzy's 33 menu. I arrived and was seated immediately. This location is small but super cute. I ordered coffee and HUEVOS A LA MEXICANA (Scrambled eggs with Sautéed onions, jalapenos and tomato served with pinto beans, queso fresco tortilla chips and avocado). So good! I will definitely be back and I want to try something from the crepe menu! I knew I would love Izzy's because patrons waited outside for seats to become available.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I arrived with my wife and 2 kids 6 minutes past 8am, which is when they open. We stood in the entrance for about 2 minutes before someone who was walking through the back area saw us standing around. We were seated quickly as we were the only ones there. We quickly noticed a smell that was not pleasant. Musty maybe? Not sure, but my wife had some type of allergic reaction, watery itchy eyes and a sneeze attack as soon as we sat down. We ordered some food, the breakfast platter for the kids to share, huevos rancheros for me and the Mexican breakfast for my wife. I was pretty surprised about the 35 min wait, especially since there were no other customers, but once our food arrived we could see the attention to detail. The food was really yummy, plentiful and hot. Hot in temperature and in spice. My wife and I tried to share some of our meals with the kids but they were too spicy for them. I did wish there was an indication of spice level on the menu, but I didn't see that. So why only 4 stars you ask? Though the food was delicious and beautifully plated, I was a bit disappointed with the attention to detail for the customers. Our server only came to the table once to see if we needed anything and it was toward the end of our meal. As I was asking for something, she began walking away missing half of my sentence, which meant more work for her since she had to grab that item, come back and go back again for the other item I was planning on asking for on her first trip back to the kitchen. At this point there were 3 other tables with customers but still the wait staff was very sparse. Once we finished, my kids and wife left the restaurant because my kids couldn't wait any longer and I sat at the table for 8 minutes by myself, with my credit card in hand, waiting to pay. 4 tables full of customers and zero staff on the floor is never ideal. Would I come back here? Maybe delivery since the food was really great, but not with the kids again.

This small BYOB restaurant is near the corner of 9 and Morris. My husband and I got here around noon and it was crowded. The dining room is small but not too overcrowded. They put cushions to sit people by the window. I like the red wall with gold accent on the ceiling trim and bathroom door because it gives a fancy look. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a small pot of plant on each table. We were served right away. On the menu they make crepes after 4 PM. There's a special menu on the blackboard. The menu has regular breakfast items and also some Mexican dishes such as chilaquiles and enchilada My husband ordered breakfast burger, which I never encountered before. It had burger patty with hash brown, egg, and bacon. He enjoyed it very much. He selected a bowl of fruit as side. The fruit bowl is bigger than those that are usually served in diners. Meanwhile, I ordered special item: crab meat omelette. My waitress asked what side I would like. The choices are salad, fruit, or home fries. I opted for the salad. When I got the food, it came with 2 slices of toasted white bread. I wished they offered wheat. They were generous with the size of the salad and the amount of crab meat. Unfortunately, my omelette was very salty. I understand that crab meat is salty but I felt like it was brined in salt. It's very rare to find me not finishing my food. This time I couldn't finish it because I could feel my blood pressure went up because how salty it was. They accept card payment but it is cheaper to pay with cash.I might give this place another try maybe the Mexican dish

Super cute brunch spot and they have an extensive menu with delicious food! This is a BYOB place and they brought us out champagne glasses. It was a little drizzly out in Saturday, and their inside was filled up. But they had an outdoor covered patio that was perfect and equipped with patio heaters. Staff are super sweet and kind! There is a ~$7 discount if you pay with cash

Cozy BYOB brunch spot. We had great service and loved the variety of Mexican and Italian options and twists on food. Gotta have the horchata as well.

The food here was delicious. I got the chilaquiles which was 18 dollars and a great deal for the amount of food there was. All the food was extremely well seasoned and flavorful. I went with my friends for a brunch and the vibes were very casual and chill. There's a lot of natural light that comes into the restaurant which is nice. It feels very homey and comfortable. We found out that the place was BYOB once we got there, so I will definitely be coming back with some bottles next time I come. Overall, the price was very reasonable, the portions were big, and the food was all very delicious. I would definitely recommend and come back.

A lovely brunch I went into blindly. I'm not typically a brunch person because I don't really like traditional breakfast things like eggs Benny or like French toast so when my friend suggested brunch here, that's all I was expecting since the name doesn't really indicate it's Mexican influence. So pumped after realizing that. Chips make eating scrambled eggs much easier, and beans make it even better (get the huevos a La mexicana)They had about a hundred different French toast options, which looked delicious (but I didn't try cause I'm team savory), and I was so happy to see a bunch of different sandwiches on the menu too, in addition to your typical suspects like avo toast and eggs your way. If there's horchata on the menu, there is also absolutely no way I'm passing that up, and I'm pleased to inform you that it is up to par; that should be the first thing you order. Next time, I'm bringing some champagne for brunch!

Izzy's 33 is a great brunch option in the city! My friends got the Crab Cake Benedict which was a 10/10. Super flavorful and lots of delicious ingredients. I got the Brie and Provolone panini which was ok. Definitely very filling but tasted relatively plain. I ordered it because I wanted to taste the Basil aioli but is was barely noticeable. We shared the Churros French Toast which was amazing! Perfectly sweet with actual churro pieces and well balanced flavors. Loved the warm cinnamony taste, cold whipped cream and refreshing fruit on top. The horchata was overly sweet and tasted somewhat watery, so I don't recommend. All the portions were incredibly generous for ~$14 per entree. Egg and sandwich entrees came with ab option of home fries, regular fries or a side salad to pair! The restaurant itself is pretty small, with a handful of small tables seating 2-4 people. The surrounding area is very residential, so parking is limited and often difficult to find.

So good. Took my friend here as a birthday gift since we've been talking about going for a year. I'm mad at myself for not going sooner! Such a cute spot, friendly staff and incredible food
