Came with six other folks for a few beers and food at about 8:45 on a Monday evening. Each of us ordered a beer and three people ordered food. Waters came out pretty quickly, but they forgot one person--I had to get up to ask for another since the four or five people on staff ignored us as they passed by each time. Somehow the food came out 10 minutes before our drinks--what's up with that??? That should NEVER happen! When the drinks did come out mine was very warm (at least I could use the ice from the water to cooling it down), but once again one beer was forgotten. When I went to the bar to ask for it, the bartender was insistent that he had poured it, but couldn't find it at the server station. Meanwhile the waitress came back to the bar and said she had already served us--I explained the missing beer and she gave our table attitude for the rest of the evening like we were bunch of folks over 40 trying to scam her for one beer! I'm hoping our out-of-towner experience was a one-off for this business's sake, but our group definitely will find somewhere else to go for the rest of the week we're here. They do have a nice outdoor setting at nighttime, although a little dimly lit to read the small print menus.

We loved hanging out at the outdoor bar. It was beautifully covered by vines which made sitting outside a little less hot. There are long wooden picnic tables or metal 2-tops with mini bar stools. There were games to play including cornhole and Jenga. The only food we ordered were fried pickle chips to snack on while we enjoyed a couple hard ciders.

Independence Beer Garden is a nice outdoor space by Independence Hall that has a huge outdoor space with tables and games. There is a large beer selection and a food menu with your typical bar food (burgers, fries, etc). Our waitress got our order pretty quickly but then it took very long to get a draft beer and mocktail. The mocktail was the worst mocktail I had. It was liquid sugar. Thankfully the waitress was kind enough to let me order something else. There are many outdoor beer gardens in the city and I'd recommend going somewhere else.

IBG was great for what it is - a large outdoor beer garden with plenty of space for large groups within a short walk from Independence Hall & the Liberty Bell. My friends and I grabbed a few drinks this weekend and enjoyed the outdoor picnic-style tables. There was a large selection of local & domestic beers, ciders, & canned cocktails along with a full bar. The service was on the slower side, but it was packed when we visited so we expected to wait in line for a bit. It's a great spot to get off your feet for a while & grab a cold beverage! However, it wouldn't be a place where I would hang out for extensive periods of time due to the large crowds & noise volume! I removed a star from my rating because it was just fine, not great. Their bathroom situation is also a little funky with a bathroom trailer around the side of the building.

IBG is not what we expected, it looked nicer in the photos since the outside of the building is cropped out. It was very loud, in the main area, the middle section with the fire pit was mosquitoes galore with pebbles floor, the back part where the tin can restroom are, was much quieter with corn hole games set up. It's a cute spot for hangouts but not a place for a couple's night. I really liked my drink though. I had the dreams and nightmare (tequila, strawberry and jalapeños) my SO had a beer but it was warm

The Beer Garden is a lovely spot to sit back and enjoy a cold beer on a warm summer day. They also offer a great Happy Hour with items like tasty Sliders and fresh chips and guacamole. With its cozy atmosphere it's a nice place to relax and unwind with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive. The selection of beers on tap is impressive and even offers cocktails with a wide variety to choose from. The seating is outdoor with ample seating and plenty of shade to keep you cool on even the hottest of days. If you're a beer lover looking for a great spot to relax and enjoy a cold one, the Beer Garden is definitely worth checking out.

Really liked this place. It's huge! Took a video from our section on the side and it was perfect. Adirondack chairs and this side blocks the breeze on a cool day. Drinks were very good. I had a cocktail called the Hey Betsy and not too sweet or artificially tasting at all. Alex had a beer. We had the fried pickles and everything was solid. Great spot for a drink and to chill in between shopping or site-seeing.

Loved this spot. I have been to Philly countless times without noticing this spot. The Philly cheesesteak was on point but the chicken wings were an absolute must order. Wings and drinks. Perfect combo.
