Cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks are so good. Love their cheesesteak hoagie their pickles are the best I have ever had.Pickup and cash only.Service always consistently excellent. Family owned and the quality is top notch. Ambiance is still old school. Anna's is my go to and also top three cheesesteaks in Delco

The sandwich making history of this place is evident in the decor. The formica may be original. Anna's grandson made me an Italian hoagie and it was very good. Just right, in fact. The bibe is family and relaxed. Look forward to trying the cheesesteak next time. Maybe whatever they suggest. The owner chatted a bit and made me feel right at home.

Drove by a couple of times, but never stopped in. Last week that changed. I wanted a cheesesteak, and was feeling adventurous. First of all its cash only, which still blows my mind in 2021. ATM on site.Called ahead for a Cheesesteak, light on the cheese, with salt, pepper, ketchup. They told me it was busy and that my order would be 20 minutes. That was fine with me. When I arrived there was only 2 other people waiting. I do not think that is busy. Anyway they have a small grill, where the owner was making the sandwiches. His Daughter was the cashier and his wife was the wrapper. A fine family run business. The steak was very meaty and a good size for about $11. When I got home i took a bite. I was really disappointed in the sandwich. It lacked that flavor that all cheesesteaks have. it was well into the afternoon so the grill was seasoned enough. It just lacked that taste that i was looking for. They might have to step up their game with Delco Steaks moving into the neighborhood soon, and Mike & Emma's down the street.

Anna's Sandwich Shop is a long established business in this area , having been established way back in 1935. While the building might be showing its age and the "FOR SALE" sign outside, this community has definitely embraced this business.There is something to be said for a business to have lasted this long. Think about it, Anna's was already a well established business when the United States entered World War II. This business has seen its community change, as well as the world around it, yet it has been a constant in this neighborhood. They do give a lot of food for the money and the service is friendly and engaging. You could see that this friendly nature has helped this business last as the decades came and went.I had a cheesesteak and while it was OK, it definitely was underseasoned. A bit of salt and pepper helped solve the issue, but I wish it had a bit more seasoning cooked into it.Still, not a bad meal and the service will make you feel at home. I will give it four stars overall.

Classic steaks and hoagies. Sandwiches are big, so come hungry...yumalicious. Cash only, but there's an ATM in the shop.

Good sandwiches, sexist environment. Male employee stated multiple times that women should be seen and not heard. When I challenged him, he states that my partner had me under control. Not interested in being treated like this when getting lunch and feel bad for the women who work there.

No gas better hoagies! - Is the sign that greets you at Anna's before you walk in. Very true! I remember stopping in this family run establishment years ago for a decent cheese steak and recently found my way there for a fine Italian hoagie. The inside is a tad dated, but charming. I was in line and could hear the locals and the staff catching up on whats new and how everyone and their families were. The owner was updating everyone on his recent hunting trip. Several members of a local rescue squad were even in there so that's always a positive sign (especially since they were only there for their food)! Friendly environment.They had a Best of Delco 2016 for hoagies banner hanging so I wanted to find out what that's all about! I ordered a small Italian hoagie with hot peppers and the owner started slicing the meat right in front of me. Made to order, always a plus! In typical Delco fashion he stacked the meat and cheese on top of the lettuce and tomato high above the roll. The hoagie had a nice mix of salami's, hams and cheese piled neatly and with good flavor. The bread was fresh and I believe came from Liscio's. The small hoagie was very filling and for a decent price so next visit I'll skip the chips on the side!All in all I think this local, long running family business is a must visit to indulge in their menu. The service was fast and friendly and you can tell there is a lot of pride in ownership and staff. Wawa can keep their crappy hoagie, these guys are legit.

Excellent cheesesteaks. Best bang for your buck. $15 and eat three times til you're full. Don't change a thing. Very generous. NicePeople.

I got the cheesesteak. Awesome Cheesesteak! It was a beautiful day when I found Anna's! I grew up in this area and did not know this little gem was hiding in plain sight!! Great conversation with the owner completed an awesome stop at Anna's!!

I love this shop I always have the Italian hoagie, always a lot of meat and toppings on the sandwiches, Definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area 10/10 in my books
