"We made a reservation in advance to visit The Stillery location closest to Broadway. It seems a bit smaller than their other location. We arrived for an early lunch around 1130 on a Sunday and there were still tables available, but it quickly filled up. The service was good and the portions were large. We could've easily split a meal. We ordered the hot chicken on mac & cheese and I appreciated that there were different spice levels of chicken, but even the milder level was still pretty hot. The turkey burger was way better than expected. We were pleasantly surprised. I definitely recommend it for a chill lunch near Broadway."
"This spot was recommended by several people so we obviously wanted to check it out while in Nashville! I was so intrigued by the Redneck Lo Mein and am so glad I ordered it- seriously so good! Others in my party ordered the Ike and Mike's Nachos, Rule the Roost chicken sandwich, mac and cheese, and the burger. All of our food was delicious. The tables have tons of sauce options, which I appreciate. They have several bars on every floor and lots of drink choices. We ended our visit on the rooftop with a drink while taking in the views. It was great! I highly recommend this spot. We were able to find something for the kids in our group, too, even though they don't have a kids menu. All of the staff were very friendly and our order came out quickly!"

"Came by for dinner on a Sunday with a party of 7 & no reservation - they were able to get us a table for 4, and split our party so the others ate at a standing table. It was OK. I'm glad they squeezed us in but PSA if you have a large party I would definitely recommend a reservation.Food was really good! Tried two tacos (you pay per taco) & the chips and quac. Everything was full of flavor and I was really happy with all the food. Service was good & bathroom was clean. There's paid parking lots nearby - no street parking."
"We were looking for a dinner spot to catch up friends and stumbled upon this place on a weeknight. The vibe was what we were looking for as it wasn't too loud, but also had a good energy about it. We were sat immediately on the left side of the restaurant, which is the side that does not have a bar. The menu was on your table under the glass so there was nothing to hold, and it was simple to understand. Our server was with us quickly and was good about giving us time to chat as we were slow ordering. Once ordered though, the food came out quickly. we started with the deviled eggs, which were great! The pickle was a nice touch. For my entree, I had the jambalaya and it was also good. The temperature was a bit on the cool side, but the ingredients were top notch and it had a nice kick to it. There is another location in Brentwood."
"Sambuca has one of the best happy hours in Nashville, hands down! They have happy hour every Monday through Friday from 4-7pm where all their appetizers and drinks are half off!! Upon arrival, make sure to let the hosts know that you're there to attend happy hour. They let us sit outside for the day! We went in and ordered anything our heart desired (and it was still such a good deal it didn't even hurt the bank account)! White Tea Spritz: Light and Refreshing, 10/10Spicy Blueberry Margarita: A house special and had a great kick to it, 9/10Calamari Fritti: Perfect fresh and fried calamari, what's not to love, 10/10Chicken and Beef Satay: Pretty standard but a bit bland for my taste, 6/10Tuna Poke: Loved the crunch the wonton strips provided with the taste poke, 10/10Shrimp and Crab Dip: A perfect seafood queso, 10/10Happy hour is definitely the best time to come by here. Make sure you don't miss it!"
"Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope I spelled that correctly. It's such a fantastic day to indulge in delicious Mexican cuisine. Nectar Urban Cantina is our go-to spot, not just for their mouthwatering dishes, but also for their excellent service. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, complete with a ramp for those who require it. Plus, you can even bring your furry friends along. They allow dogs outside. And if you're lucky, you might be treated to some incredible live music. Have a great day!"
"12/18/23: Last night and we checked out Honky Tonk Central. Another great vibe and awesome band. People for the 2 visit to Nashville within a month's time always a good time to be had in any bar ventured into."
"Great food and great service. A must try. We went for my husband's birthday. This restaurant has a family feeling but they are super busy. Great cocktails by Jenna, who is magical."
"Hands down best linguine I had in a long time.So here it goes, while visiting from out of town and being asked by coworkers where to eat I came across Trattoria II Mulino while doing a search online and I'm glad that I found this hidden gem!!Location right in the heart of Nashville Downtown.Atmosphere: Basement restaurant from street level with plenty of seating and very modern decor.Food: My guess is they must make the best pasta in Tennessee if not on the entire east coast.Bread and olive oil were very tasty. The meatball appetizer was out of this world and was very delicious! My Linguine with clams was probably the best pasta dish I ever had besides outside of Italy. The pasta, the sauce with a special kick and the clams were just so delicious and mouthwatering. This restaurant was extremely good, and we ended up going there 3 times in a row for lunch while in town. Unfortunately, I didn't try their pizza or other items but each of my co-workers had nothing but good things to say about their food.I'm a fan and wish we had you guys here in Southern California!!!5 stars for delicious food and friendly service.Needless to say, I 'll be back.Enjoy and Bon Appétit."
"Holy crap this was the BEST eats I had on my most recent Nashville trip!!They have an insanely large variety of coffee options to start, both normal selection as well as some that you might never see at most coffee shops - turkish coffee made in the old fashioned way, and an insane number of alcoholic coffee options. It took me quite a while to settle on the alcoholic coffee: "Cappucino la scala" - cappuccino italiano with chocolate and almond liquer. It comes with the alcohol on the side because the waitress explained that they are quite proud of their coffee there... and LET ME TELL YOU. My first sip of that cappuccino and I immediately understood what she meant - it was the best coffee I've had in FOREVER. Perfectly balanced and left me wanting for more. The liquer was also quite tasty to sip, but I did add it into my coffee towards the end. 10/10!!For brunch item, I ordered the egg white omelette and swapped the goat cheese for swiss. It was absolutely delicious!!! All the ingredients tasted extra good, I was shocked but definitely think Nashville has an upper hand when it comes to brunch compared to Los Angeles. 9.5/10!For dessert, we ordered the frutti di bosco, 11/10! It was actually the highlight of the meal if you can believe it - a shortbread pastry base filled with Chantilly cream.... Just so light and perfectly tasty without being too sweet. 100% dreamed of having another slice the days after. If you're in Nashville and looking for breakrfast/brunch, look no further. This is absolutely the best in town. PS the service was also so so friendly, I loved the vibes in this restaurant!"
"This old auto shop got converted into this eclectic, hipster, dive bar and eatery. They transformed it for many bands to showcase their talent. The food here are made in the house. It's fascinating to see the graffiti art on the wall and all the unique, colorful artistry behind their interior decor hanging around. They do need updates i their furniture, but I believe this is what makes their place one of a kind.As far as the food I loaded up in with their "Phat special" menu.I enjoyed their pita and hummus appetizer and the salad I got was good. The food wasnt as memorable as the decor. But it is a great place for vegans to vegetarians. There bar and their night life must be a hit. In the area.."
"Go to Drakes. We've lived in the area for over a year and just discovered Drakes a month ago. We wanted takeout sushi, and Drakes was closest. You wouldn't expect sushi from what looks like a neighborhood bar when you walk in, but it was excellent. We returned this evening for dinner and to try dining in the bar. The food was great, but the real surprise was the amazing service. In most restaurants, the servers may be attentive, but they seem focused on their own tables. At Drakes, the entire staff worked as a team. If there were an empty dish on the table, whoever walked by would ask if we were done and then take it away. It was great to see such fantastic service. Mahni and her peers did a great job taking care of us, and we look forward to our next visit. Really, you should go."

I wish I had eaten here because the food looked tasty. This place has a bar upstairs with live music and the restaurant downstairs. Bar was great and had a smoky old fashioned where they smoke the glass then pour the drink. There's a stage with live music and honestly, every bar we visited had great singers. Bartenders were great and attentive. Only wish this place stayed open later.

From Chicago, in Nashville for the week and someone we met told us that Acme is where the locals eat.We walked down Broadway Ave on a Wednesday evening and there were live bands and people everywhere... except Acme : )There were only a few people there, but the food, service, and view of Nashville from the roof was panoramic and beautiful at night. Highly recommended!

We stopped in here on a whim heading back to our hotel. Wow! What a great stop. The food looked awesome. But we were here to drink! Beer and whiskey were had by myself. They have an amazing Tequila collection too. Great service at the bar with a lively crowd made for a fun night. Great place to drink and I would love to try the food sometime too.

Great restaurant/bar in the heart of downtown Franklin. There was some road construction down the street but it didn't stop the crowds in and around the restaurant which tells you it's a popular spot. We came in on a Sunday when it was brunch only which was sad because I had my eyes on the fish tacos but I settled for a bbq chicken sandwich which turned out very good. The homemade chips for the side are very good too and great to dip in bbq sauce. I also got a cup of gumbo for an app and it was top notch gumbo. Great place for kids too with a nice menu. Several local beers on tap and a full bar.

Came here for Easter brunch and wow it was fantastic. This is our third year in a row coming to Sambuca. The quality of food is delicious and the workers are so kind. If you want anything special or different they're usually able to do it. I cannot recommend this place enough and they do brunch every weekend!

You'd never know it by the unassuming house converted to a charming little restaurant, but inside are some of the best tacos in Nashville. Middle Tennessee's taco game is very strong, and Nectar is more evidence of that. The "Nashty" with a whole chicken tender, poblano ranch, pickled jalapeño peppers and cheese is my favorite! But the spicy beef birria with its own broth for dunking is also popular for a reason! I can additionally vouch for the deliciousness of the cochinita pibil (achiote pork) and yazoo dos perros (beer-braised brisket) as well.

Came in as our last stop Sunday night of thanksgiving weekend girls birthday trip. My two girlfriends were crashing fast but this place picked them right up! They aren't country fans and this was by far their favorite music of our trip! We danced our butts off!We also laughed our butts off! They made me wear a crown and sash and that was quite the attention getter from the young (barely 21) Eastern European boys hahahaha. I also had a Russian guy ask if I was getting married half a dozen times and finally I said yes tomorrow and the face he made was priceless. He was super drunk but that's to be expected on Broadway.

I enjoyed this cozy East Nashville restaurant. Great service, cocktails and food. I especially liked the skate fish special. It was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth like butter. Recommend!

"After walking the shops at 12 South - and a friend recommending this spot - the girls and I stopped in for happy hour/early dinner. We were one of the first patrons to enter and decided to sit in the enclosed patio. The rain was coming down and we were able to get the best of both worlds! Our server came over lickety split and was THE NICEST human! He introduced himself, rattled off the specials, provided us with great recommendations for drinks and engaged in fun conversation. He had us laughing and made our experience. We opted to start with a round of drinks - all of which were different. I opted for a fun and flirty cocktail, while the others got wine and a draft beer. YUM!Then out came our fresh Ceasar salads to accompany our delicious medium pizza - The Demartino - featuring salami, sun dried tomatoes, goat cheese, house mozzarella, arugula and basil chiffonade - which was divine! The pizza, on a thin crust was perfectly cooked, was foldable (essential!) and tasted so fresh! We happily enjoyed as much as we could before boxing up the rest for later.Pricing was on point and I'd easily venture back :)"
"Didn't quite know what to expect here but we were so pleasantly surprised!! Some of the best drinks of our entire trip were here. Friendly service and unique atmosphere. I would come back in a heartbeat and can't wait to have another hibiscus skinny margarita! There's something for everyone!"
"Winding down our post Thanksgiving trip to Nashville, this was one of our last stops in Music City. We didn't hit this spot on our last visit, so I was interested to check it out. Great decor. Great staff in the early afternoon. I only had a couple of lighter beers. All was well. What I loved about Tin Roof on this visit is that we got to see a band change during our visit. I always love a band change in Nashville. Two bands for the price of one..lol. Every band that plays bars in Nashville is very good. Some are just about to make it big, so we got to see a great band for about 20 minutes followed by another great band after a short wait. Always fun when that happens. No complaints here at Tin Shed. The food looked pretty good, too. Folks were ordering sandwiches and burgers. Will definitely look into ordering food next time."
"I stayed at the Kimpton for my brother's wedding & had Sunday brunch at Henley the following morning. The decor is very pleasing on the eyes & the back dining space even more so. I started off with a Kevin Bacon Old Fashioned & boy was it tasty. It was sweet enough to be a dessert but at the same time you could taste the bacon with every sip. Aromatic & strong as it should be.I had the server help me choose my food as everything sounded too good. She suggested the French toast Monte cristo & since I've only had a Monte cristo sandwich maybe twice in my life I went with the recommendation. It was phenomenal. Full of flavor in each bite with pillow soft French toast bread. I almost forgot to take a photo I was so busy enjoying it. Luckily I captured half of it before it disappeared.Service was great as there was a party of 9 of us & I'd love to come back & have lunch or dinner here."
"We always enjoy Tito's! Friendly staff at the bar and great food every time. Always consistent"
"Really enjoyed this place, Rosie was the perfect server and all though I didn't really enjoy the Mexican plate my wife enjoyed her carne asada. The atmosphere as pleasant except the guy yelling at the waiter is GRATUITY INCLUDED IN OUR BILL. Some people just need to stay home. But would recommend to anyone in the area to stop in."
"The Slider House is located in the middle of the Midtown area of the city amongst all the restaurants and bars. As you would suspect, they serve sliders of all different types from beef, chicken, pork and even fish. You can get an individual slider for $7, or make a meal out of it with 2 sliders with a side. The Slider House is a sports bar, so TV's are on all the walls, so not a bad seat in the house when a game is on. Note that this spot is the local Detroit Lions bar, so plan accordingly on game days!We went with the meal option and got two sliders and a side. I got a beef slider, The Old Hickory, a chicken slider, Southern Comfort and a side of onion pedals. Meal total was $17. The sliders were decent with the Southern Comfort being my fav. The Sriracha Honey glaze made the sandwich! I was disappointed in the onion pedals, as while I can appreciate a light dredge/batter, these pedals were barely coated and some pieces were not coated at all. Before our sliders, we started with the buffalo chicken dip. The dip was tasty, just enough heat and thick. The chips are the house made potato chips, and while good on their own, not my favorite vessel for the dip. Drink wise, they have a full bar with several specials, beers on tap, cocktails, etc...we got a beer and I ordered a Gin and Tonic. My first G&T was solid, but my second was rough. I cannot pinpoint what it was, but it did not taste like a G&T. I confirmed it was what was made, and was assured, which just made me a question it a tad more. Service was a bit hit and miss as well. Our server was friendly, but not super attentive with drinks/refills. Overall, the experience, food and service was just "ok". Nothing terribly wrong or really outstanding. Decent spot for a decent slider and a beer."
"Two words. Taco. Pizza.Rock'n Dough is the epitome of a casual pizza joint, and is the ideal place to settle in and watch your favorite team with a cold pint of beer. I found this spot on Yelp while searching for a sports bar with plenty of TVs, and we had a great experience here!Rock'n Dough is attached to the neighboring Hampton Inn, just in case you're having trouble finding it as you're driving up. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a Saturday evening: it was easy to find parking, and we were seated right away. I even asked the hostess if she could change the channels for us to tune into a specific college football game, and she was happy to accomodate! Our server, Allie, was phenomenal throughout our meal. She had great recommendations - which is how we ended up starting off with the Pretzel Bites as an appetizer. Believe me when I say that these are a must-order - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious when paired with their warm queso dip.We decided to split two 16" pizzas between the four of us, which ended up being the perfect amount. We even had a few slices left over to take home with us. The USA! USA! pizza was incredible - a nice balance between all of the "supreme" toppings we know and love. The real star, however, was the Taco Pizza. I'm all about this new wave of food fusion, and Rock'n Dough is doing it better than any other restaurant I've been to in recent memory. The flavors just make sense - with the taco meat is cooked to resemble the more traditional sausage pizza topping, and the queso sauce mirroring a "white pie" style pizza. I highly recommend Rock'n Dough to Nashville locals and visitors alike. I certainly know where I'll be the next time there's a big game on!"
"My cousin and I had lunch here recently and it was really good. There was only one waitress and she was swamped and apologized that it would be a bit before she could get to us. We did not wait too long and she got us some sodas while we waited for her to take our order. We started with the Vegetable Gyoza. Nicely fried, good flavor inside, nice dipping sauce. For my entrée, I had the Spicy Bulgogi Pork - spicy bulgogi pork, kimchi, scallions, and steamed rice with mixed vegetables. I really liked this. Good sized portion, especially since I added the mixed vegetables. A bit spicy but not overwhelming. Good flavors throughout. My cousin had the Poke rice bowl: salmon, tuna, avocado, seaweed salad. She really liked this. A good sized portion as well. Fresh fish. Overall a nice lunch even with the service starting off slow."
"We needed a late night spot that was still serving food! Pour house was an excellent choice! Pour house isn't just bar food. We all got an excellent meal! The appetizers & drinks were great! The entrees were excellent too! Our server was great! There are plenty of TVs to watch various games but it's still quiet enough to have a conversation. We really enjoyed pour house & we'll be back!"
"I really liked this place. Of course it is touristy, but they had fantastic food and even more fun beverages. They serve drinks out of a cowboy hat!!! Bar staff were fabulous and they food was tasty. The meat eaters in the group said the chicken sandwich was the best they had in Nashville. I liked that they had plenty of vegetarian options. Easy to access and they are great for groups because they offer reservations!"
"I don't know this place today!!!!! Ok... yeah what!? I'm so confused like I have been in Nashville for about 22 years and since I was allowed to go to bars I've been coming here!!!! Like for the low key, authentic country penetrating south feel. Sling (I know my English is not very good looking and saying it wrong but, sorry :). He was kind of nice in his own way I guess... I was seating at the height too tables by the entrance and I thought those were part of the bar area in the past and he brought the food for the people I was with so when I asked if he was also the person taking care of drinks he said "I guess I can..." and took my order. My friend loved him because well he was a bit on happy adult drinks got to meet Kylie Morgan and her husband Jay Allen! They are as beautiful as they are on Instagram... very sweet and humble couple. The place a back to old "old times" around midnight according to Sling the bartender. He was ok. I got to dance with Mr. Michael (amazing!!!!!) ok moving on... It has been about 19 months since I've been here last and wow!!! I can't believe this place now. They have a big dance floor room open but that has a cover $7. I waited till they were closing to just check it out. I'm confused. I didn't even know that was a room!!! It cut off at the bathroom hall or so I thought. Then there is this huge dance floor!!??? If you like to dance please come check it out! They also have food."
"This place is on the lower ground level by the stairs to the Jason Aldeen Rooftop bar. We almost missed it but I heard a great band playing and was trying to figure out where it was coming from - they had a speaker that was broadcasting the band inside so I made my husband walk in. We enjoyed them so much that we sat for the rest of their set - which was only another 4 songs but still, the next band was great also! This is an expansive and comfy bar with a large stage area and a Great Wall bar and central bar with plenty of seating and tables. It was comfy and easy to spread out inside."
"Had a good workout at Sweat440 then walked down the street for some tacos. We sat at the bar the bartender was good. She willingly answered my 100 questions about the menu! Started with some Dirty Queso, it was good, kind of filling. My buddy ordered the Swole Bowl, he liked it although he said it was a bit creamy. I had the Blue Dream, and it was ! I definitely recommend the kewl ranch taco shell. I also added a Lucy's Fire taco. This taco was flavorful but had a bit too much going on for my liking. I will definitely be back to try a few more items."
"What a great place. Hidden away in a corner of a Lowe's shopping center, it's well worth the effort to find it. Huge menu--lots of choices, and excellent tacos are only the start of it. Very generous servings and reasonable prices. Fresh and well prepared. Well stocked fresh fruit drinks, beer, weekend music. Strong neighborhood feel. For lunch we had the choriqueso--the best in greater Nashville area I have ever had. The salsa is made in house, spicy yes but also smoky, way beyond average. My daughter pronounced the Cuban torta the best ever, marinated meats perfectly cooked, lots of flavor and HUGE. Easily enough for two meals. I had the huevos con chorizo with carne asada--so much goodness for $9.99. Always ask for the homemade corn tortillas--you have to go to the southwest to get better ones. How could this almost perfect place be better--a bit more attentive service. Everyone is friendly but a bit distracted. And I still prefer black beans with pico with my huevos. Here the refried beans are merely average. Soft drinks come in plastic bottles too. The diverse flavors, tastes and languages of Nolensville Road makes it THE street to explore and enjoy. Fogata's at the south end is a must stop."
"What is not t like? We enjoyed local music and the beer was cold. I even enjoyed the furious appetizers we had while enjoying the music. The service was spot on."
"Our Gang of 7 enjoyed our return to Sammy B's Restaurant. Friendly, attentive service on a mid-week evening. Bar was busy. There is now a new menu with daily specials on the menu (Mon-Thurs). Our server was enthusiastic about the new menu, and I would agree. Can recommend appetizers of potato-corn fritters and squash sticks.Enjoyed entrees of chicken marsala, Heights Chicken "Sammich", Rattlesnake Chicken Pasta, Chicken Salad Wrap, Lobster Mac & Cheese, shrimp and chips, and Fisherman's Feast. Topped off with nicely chilled martini. There is a small selection of draught brewskies.History: The building previously was part of the Castle Heights Military School complex. Plenty of parking on a private lot.Alert: Online prices do not always match current menu prices by a few dollars.Open lunch and dinner, and closed Sunday."
"West Coast Taco Shop is a great option for a meal if you are in Nashville, Tennessee. I went with their California burrito, which perfectly blended steak, French fries, and various other ingredients to make a fantastic lunch. The place has a rather straightforward ambiance and the ordering process is that you order at the counter and they call out your number. They have a nice salsa bar with varying heat levels of salsa. I went with their extra hot and their guacamole. All in all, I would definitely recommend West Coast Taco Shop for a meal. I am a huge fan of California burritos (where they put French fries in the burrito) and sadly, a lot of places don't offer this particular style of burrito. West Coast Taco Shop stands out for offering this delightful version of burrito.I would definitely recommend here and I give it five stars."
"12/17/23: Cute, welcoming neighborhood spot. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food is delicious so that I ate it all and forgot to take a pic. One of the few times the camera didn't eat first. Had the shrimp enchiladas. Nice size portions and reasonable priced.Drinks yummy and strong. Definitely a spot will return when back in Nashville. Thanks to multiple visits earned my mexi-can badge."
"My husband brought me here for my 41st birthday. It was such a luxurious experience from start to finish! Our host Ron was gracious and professional and answered all of our questions about the dishes. The wine list was extensive -- I ordered a Reisling which really had the right balance of sweet and crisp flavors. There were plenty of vegetarian options. The appetizers were lovely, especially the roasted artichokes. The spinach ravioli in brown butter sauce was divine and great for dipping bread. My husband loved the eggplant Parmesan. All the pasta is made in-house and is so fresh. They also provided a complimentary tiramisu as a birthday dessert. Ambiance was lovely and they even have a separate event space upstairs. We have not had Italian food this good since we lived in Boston and dined in the North End!"
"Probably my favorite spot from my night of bar hopping in Nashville! Loved the vibe of the place. The band was great on the night I went, they basically played covers all night long and took requests from everyone. The bar is two levels from what I remember. There's a spot on the second level where you can see the live entertainment playing. The drinks were great too! Reasonable in price and a pretty generous size. I think I stayed at this spot the longest out of the few bars I went to that night. They had a good amount of seating but I opted to stand for most of the night while watching the band play. The crowd on the second level wasn't too bad, in all honesty the ground level wasn't that bad either. I feel like this place is underrated.Would love to visit again when I'm in Nashville! Definitely recommend!"
"When my friend told me that we were going to the Urban Cowboy, my mind was imagining something like a Honky Tonk bar. Wow! I was wrong. This place was an Inn of Wonders! I absolutely Love the interior. There's also a bar that closes earlier inside than the outside bar, so be mindful. It was giving midwestern apothecary for the decor. Around back you'll find the outdoor seating that makes for a perfect space to sit and listen to the band, have a catch up session with your friends or do both. Now, let's get into this back bar & pizzeria. How neat! They closed at 11p I believe. I didn't get a chance to order pizza I was too busy indulging in Sunday Shifters (drink) but the next time I visit please believe I will and I'll have something to add!"
