Kathleen Z. "What a lovely place for breakfast or brunch! We were warmly welcomed and they seemed super excited that it was our first time there. Our waitstaff, Jessica was cheerful and attentive. The menu has plenty to choose from. My husband ordered the Supreme omelette and said it was delicious. I ordered 2 eggs over medium, which were perfectly cooked, accompanied by crisp bacon and City Grits as my side. The grits were the fluffiest I've ever eaten and the combination of grits, smoked Gouda, bacon, tomato and scallions was absolutely delicious. Coffee was piping hot and delicious. Only downsides were the eggs still had the cooking oil on them, which tasted a lot like the butter put on popcorn in movie theaters. I'd either change to real butter, or blot the eggs before bringing them out. I also asked for crispy bacon - which it was - but it was not very hot. Loved the biscuit beignets we received because it was our first time. We'll definitely be back. PS - If you're bringing an infant or toddler, there are changing tables in the restroom"

The service is exemplary, they are attenative and do very well in making you feel welcome. The food, everything is top shelf. Fish and chips, Corned beef eggrolls, Cottage pie, Rueben, it is all deliscous. We have tried a good portion of the menu and everything has been very good to exceptional"

Melanie D. "this saloon in the heart of Nashville on the main strip had really great snacks. I treated everyone to a couple different appetizers and we annihilated the plates. There wasn't much left after we had a couple drinks needed to munch on something we got the pretzels, which were extremely soft and absolutely huge. It came with some special garlic cheese dip that I've never had in my life before, and it was addicting. The chips were fantastic. I like the way they cut it up and mix everything up. It has some kind of spicy cake that was definitely at the table. Lastly, I got the chicken tenders, which was mixed with fries and it was the perfect comfort food that we needed to weigh down the drinks and keep us going for the rest of the night. The bartender was really fantastic and honestly, the service was really sweet."

The hostess was friendly as she greeted us when we walked in, and she dropped off menus as we sat down. We looked over the menu and it was simple and fast to look over. The server came over soon after and she took our orders. I ordered the #1 (two eggs, bacon, side of home fries and biscuit) I also asked for a side of gravy and sausage and I got a strawberry soda with the added "Zinger". My sister ordered the fried chicken and biscuit entrée. (fried chicken, with two eggs & pepper gravy) Food didn't take too long for it to arrive and it looked so good once it was brought out. It was a lot of food and everything was great. The sausage tasted really good and had a great flavor. I also really enjoyed the potatoes as they were hot and had a nice crunch on the outside. The biscuit with gravy tasted soooooooo good. The biscuit was moist, airy, and warm. The chicken was delicious and had a good taste to it.The only thing we didn't like was the soda with the added phosphate. That has got to be one of the nastiest drinks I've ever tried......The inside was clean and its decorated nicely for the holidays. Service was good, food was great, and we had a good time."

The wings are great, the things are great, the dump truck kind of ruins good wings because it makes it all soggy. But it's a dumb truck of wings, so what are you going to do? NOT order it? Drinks are great. Excellent appt for before a Nashville club game."

The vegetarian breakfast sandwich is outstanding. Best thing is no egg! I guess if you want that they can add but it's so nice they have a lovely breakfast sandwich on fantastic fresh bread, yummy veggies and cooked to perfection. The meat lover at the table had the Viking and enjoyed. Don't miss the hashbrown casserole. It's totally a great addition to your meal. Friendly service and nice homey dining room."

Gregory B. "The conversation went like this:"Want to grab dinner?""Yeah, what would you like?""A steak. I see a place in Hendersonville that has good ratings called Lyncoya Cafe and one up north of you in White House called the Colorado Grill"This is the point where I admit my complete ignorance and that I accepted the idea of Colorado Grill. No, it is not really a horror story, just a bit of a disappointment as I was thinking local spot instead of a chain. Three things made the decision for us: 1) Closer to her place, 2) No traffic, and 3) They have Prime Rib.The atmosphere is interesting. Reminds me a bit of the Fort in Colorado, as you walk in to a BFE: Big Friendly Elk. Okay, not so friendly as he is stuffed and just sits there and eternally brays silently at the guests. Televisions on the wall around the joint. Feels pretty chainish (yeah, my ignorance still showing here).Order Prime Rib, rare to medium rare. My friend orders salmon. I would normally say "look at the pictures here", but at 6:30 PM on a Friday, guess what? (dum dum dum) They are completely out of rare to medium rare prime rib. Nothing but well done. So, I order a Ribeye instead (same cut, different cooking style). Let's get to the points before going any further, as the points are based on the restaurant and not the bits below (which are more for management than you, the reader). I picked a 3 star as this is a typical chain, just like all of the O'RubyBackAppleHornTGILogans chain restaurants (like how I did that?). The food may be excellent for many diners, and I apologize if saying it is average sound like an insult, as it is not. It just means it is fine and nothing special, like most chains. Now to the bits I think can improve.First, the waiter had no clue the Zinfindel on the menu was a blush wine. He also ordered Chardonnay and returned with a Cabernet. Nothing bothering to me, but alcohol knowledge is a big part of being a server (at least from my experience years ago). No skin off my nose, but some people would be apopletic about this.Second (see pictures), a strip is not a ribeye. That was most likely a kitchen issue, but a waiter in a steakhouse, chain or not, should know what kinds of meat they serve. Again, training. Again, no points knocked off. BTW, for a chain, the Strip was nice. Now, the big question: Would I go back? I would say no, but I live far enough away it would have to be visiting my friend and her wanting to revisit. I am also a bad person to ask, unless I live close, as my norm is to keep trying everything rather than focus on repeat visits. My thoughts? If you are looking to stay in the White House area, this was the only steakhouse I saw. The food is decently priced, so if a steak is on your agenda (or you get there early enough (5 PM?) to get Prime Rib ... go for it). They also cooked the Strip Steak on point, so they know how to cook their meat. If you like chains, the steak has a nice criss cross char of an open flame, which I personally prefer to flat grill."

I loved it sooooo much. I tried the hot water cornbread too. That one was good too, but I loved the flapjack one more. Their Mac n cheese was also pretty yummy. It was definitely not dry. Loved that! We enjoyed the fried okra, fried chicken, biscuits, and the meatloaf. However the dumplings were not good, the collard greens were really salty. It was Friday night so I thought we'd have to wait, but it was not crowded so we were seated at once. Oh, it was cold! The air conditioning was on full blast and other customers were cold. We asked to waiter to see if it could be turned down; he said he had and soon it began to warm up. Soon a manager came by to see if we were comfortable.Service was quick and the waiter checked on us several times. I had the California Burger with bacon. Fried were my side. Food was good and plentiful. There was a child's menu and the grilled cheese sandwich sounded good; I would have liked it.The place is a bit tired. The men's restroom was not as well taken care of as I hoped, but acceptable. I didn't have an alcoholic drink as I had sweet tea which was fine. "As I walked in I was greeted with a friendly "morning y'all" and those simple words not only started but defined my experience at this restaurant. This is a restaurant that serves a small southern town. It is by no means fancy, but it fits in Joelton as a welcome member of this community. It provides simple country cooking at a fair price served by friendly servers. In fact, many were greeted by name as they walked in.I had the chicken fried chicken (which was the breakfast and lunch special). I had it with eggs over easy, toast, and home fries. The home fries were good and the eggs properly prepared but the chicken fried chicken and the accompanying white gravy were definitely unspectacular. In fact, I would hazard a guess that the chicken came out of a frozen box and the white gravy came out of a can.As I said, this restaurant will never be written in the pages of culinary history, but it will remain in the memories of countless kids who grew up here as they reminisce about the good old days."

Doug G. "If Johnny Rockets, a New Jersey Diner and a 90's Applebee's had a love child...Dalts American Grill would be it. Dalts is located on White Bridge Road near the Target and directly in front of the Trader Joe's. For the most part it is your all American diner with an expansive menu featuring diner classics such as burgers, chicken tenders, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and salads combined with omelets, tacos, pizza and seafood plus desserts of course! The weirdest part of the menu and the mark of a true diner is the "Steak, Ribs & Omelet" section...because you know you always trying to decide between a NY Strip, rack of ribs or veggie omelet! For our meal I went with a diner classic, Patty Melt sided with hashbrown casserole and my partner went the club with fries. The Patty Melt was cooked to temp and overall was a solid burger. I chose white bread in lieu of the rye, personal preference, and the Texas toast held up well. It was the opposite story on the other end of the table as the club was not as successful and the fries were just terrible. The bread for the club was chewy and the filling of the sandwich kept falling out. It was not a well constructed sandwich unfortunately. Before I move on from the food, you do get complimentary biscuits/rolls upon being sat. When you visit a diner, you expect lots of shiny metals, gaudy furnishings, eccentric lighting and artwork...and Dalts has it all. The vibe is "old", but kind of a dated-old as the booths, tables, flooring, ceilings, etc...are quite run down. As I continue to describe Dalts, I struggle a tad as it really is a mix of vibes from the bar that looks like it belongs in a seedy local dive bar, to the large wooden banisters in the dining room combined with the open-air kitchen behind the stainless bar to the standard seating private dining room. Service was decent. There were a lot of servers and staff on during our visit, but service was still decently slow. She was friendly and accurate, and we were not in a rush, so all was well on that end. Overall, we are glad we experienced Dalts given it's place in the local scene. While I do not believe we will go out of our way to dine at Dalts, I can see this as a place my parents would enjoy, so I will be happy to bring them by during visits."
