"Loved that they had so many healthy options to eat. This is usually hard to find on a business trip. Came here for lunch in a Monday. Got the big eye tuna poke bowl but substituted salad greens for the sushi rice. It was the perfect light lunch. Came here for breakfast on a Tuesaday and the place was more bustling. I got the liver lover juice and the parfait. The juice was bottled. But still very good. The parfait was delicious and a good portion. The granola sat atop the yogurt and lots of fruit. The highlight was the brûlée pineapple. All pineapple should be this way! The Lounge- I got the "cheaper than a shrink" cocktail and it was very good. The lounge is lively at night."

"Amazing sandwiches (I only had one actually, but really wish I could have tried more). I had The Poorest of Boys, and it was enough to let me know that they have mastered the panini press. The sandwich was hearty, and as someone who never looks to go out for sandwiches, had me considering driving from Arrington to Columbia again, but I didn't have time. :( The daily soup I got as a side was amazing too. Tastes very homemade, and I would be shocked if there was any significant processing behind them. Owners and all the employees were super friendly. Plenty of counter bar seating in addition to small tables and some booths. As someone visiting from California, I would consider this a must eat on my next trip."
"Ask anyone where to get an authentic home cooked southern meal in Nashville, and they'll send you to Arnold's. This local gem practically invented the "Meat & 3", a cafeteria style service where you choose a meat and three sides. Options change daily at Arnold's, but generally include fare like candied yams, fried catfish, chicken and dumplings, etc. Upon arrival, grab a tray, and get in line. Staff of varying degrees of surliness will scoop your selections onto styrofoam plates, and a cashier will ring you up at the end. Choose your own cutlery, and find a seat. The restaurant is spacious, with a homey, no frills vibe. All of the food was delicious. Richly seasoned but not overly salty, deep fried but somehow not too heavy or oily. The shrimp were juicy, the mac and cheese creamy with a lovely gouda flavor, the greens were deeply savory. My favorite side dish was the Fried Green Tomatoes, which were lightly breaded, juicy, and tangy. Skip the cornbread, which was bone dry, but do NOT skip dessert. The Spicy Chocolate Pie was among the best pies I've ever had. It tasted of semisweet chocolate ganache, with a wonderfully bright heat from what I presume to be cayenne pepper. Apparently Arnold's has plans to close soon after 42 years of business, so eat here while you can."
"Yummmm to the max!!! Flavor of the week is usually my fave but they do it all so well. I might've gone 3 times in one week. You'll do yourself a favor by trying pretty much anything on the menu. Go now! Or not. Maybe you're not supposed to have sweets. You do you."
"I really liked a lot of things about Burger Up. The venue itself, the staff are great, and the menu -- so many options and choices. Love, actually. The housemade ketchup went excellent with my sweet potato truffle fries. I tried the sliders, because it was not plain, you could choose any two of the delicious sounding burgers. Therefore, I went with the Woodstock and the Jalapeno, but honestly, they all sounded good. For sliders, they were just good not great. The buns were a little dense (not soft), and the burger dry. Maybe the full burger would be better.I'd definitely be up for trying more on the menu, it's a great hang, too."
"Love the variety and availability of different sizes but I would like to have a dozen different options instead of just half a dozen. I will say the serves is always fast and the staff are always friendly. The place is always exceptionally clean. It would be nice to see a bit of personality as it is giving borderline clinical sterile right now. I appreciate that employees are dressed neat & uniform. That is extremely nice to see! Overall, it's a great place to go and have a decadent treat!"
"Super sweet service and super sweet cupcakes! The girl at the counter was such a dear working with me. Of course I wanted EVERYTHING and she helped with suggestions and described each cupcake until I knew exactly what would HIT THE SPOT for me. I totally lucked out! I came in on a Friday when they have 'taster boxes' of 4 cupcakes for just $7. Lucky duck! I got the butterscotch, birthday cake, banana pudding and butterfinger. All were very good. At the top of the list is the butterfinger. Chocolately good cake and lick-your-fingers-good frosting DIPPED in CANDY. Yum! The banana has a real shot of pudding in the cupcake and the butterscotch smells as good as it tastes. (sounds weird but all I wanted was a whiff of this. Its like..do they make air freshener with this stuff..hahaha..).All their cupcakes are PERFECTLY made. You can tell they take their time with every DETAIL here. They are filled perfectly to fit the cupcake paper and they are piped with frosting ever so neatly for a centered circle and rolled flush with sprinkles/garnish. Your geometry teacher would make a lesson out of this. The blue walls and COMFY sofa and ritzy CHANDELIER makes you want to schedule a girls date with your bestie. And I love the little kiddos table by the door. Awwww. Everything in here screams ADORABLE and fun."
"Just okay. The place wasn't very busy and it took longer than expected for food to arrive. With a limited family style meal, I would have expected more preparation. We enjoyed the fried okra, fried chicken, biscuits, and the meatloaf. However the dumplings were not good, the collard greens were really salty. We had a vegetarian friend with us and even the vegetable sides had bacon. It's too bad they don't allow boxes even if you didn't request seconds. There was so much food that went to waste."
"My new favorite lunch/early dinner spot. I had the tacos and Loved them!! My boyfriend had a salad that looked fresh and delicious. He also had a chicken salad melt that was yummy. We sat outside in the cute courtyard. Service was fast and friendly. I can't wait to return!"
"I would give 0 stars if I could! Avoid this business at all costs! The owner is HIGHLY unprofessional and will block you on Facebook and not tell you she couldn't commit to doing your cake. We ordered a cake through her almost a month prior to our event and she confirmed everything was set (cake decor, flavors, size, date, etc) and she would deliver day of. We had been in contact and discussed dropping off figurines we wanted to use so I went to go message her about meeting up a few days before the event and her business and personal page were gone. I posted in a city group asking if someone knew her and if everything was ok (was honestly worried something happened to her) and someone said they could see her pages. Jessica had blocked not only myself on both her business and personal page, but also my husband who never reached out to her so I thought when I looked on his phone she legitimately went out of business or even died. Turns out she just blocked us, never communicated she couldn't handle doing our cake, and now we are 3 DAYS out realizing it's not happening. This woman is so unprofessional and childish to do such a thing. Never do business with Jessica Cull or her Bakeshop!"

Visited this place for the Grinch Tea, which obviously had better be good because that's a bold name to call it if they weren't going to deliver on the theming. No need to fear because the menu had cute names that referred to the cartoon and before long, the Grinch came out to take pictures at each table and to make time with the guests.Foodwise, it's an okay tea in a luxurious, lavish, quietly classy location. I say that because the tea food was nothing special. My faves were the Who Smoked Salmon Sandwich, the Cindy Lou Who Pecan Pie, and the I hate X-Mas Apple financier. The scones, which usually are the highlight for me at a tea if they scones are fresh and they're served with real devonshire or clotted cream, were not great and had a heavy baking soda flavor. And the service? The Grinch visited us more than the waitress. I wish I could give her the excuse that it was a busy day, but all we wanted was more hot tea for our tea pots and she was nowhere to be found after she gave us our tea pots. our food was served by someone else and we never saw her again. I'm not kidding when I say that the Grinch visited us four times and the waitress only once. What?!?Still we enjoyed our tea because in that lobby, you have beautiful furniture and it's easy to get into the Christmas spirit. Just don't expect extra hot water for your tea.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived at approximately 4:30-5:00 pm.There were two employees. Every one of the tables we attempted to use was dirty/sticky. There were crumpled napkins on several tables and on the floor.Frankly, the appearance of the place was less than appetizing. We ordered 2 sandwiches and both were hot and tasty. The side order of house made "dirty chips" were VERY dark brown and had a burnt taste. After fulfilling our order both employees went back to eating and watching television. It's doubtful we'd return.

Really loved this place. Very authentic southern service and hospitality. Lunch line service and depends on the day what they serve. Really the veggies here are unmatched- we split the yams and corn pudding both delicious. The other country fried chicken and grouper were amazing too. Favorite place we went to In Nashville. Peep the hours but recommend 100%

This is the smoothest, creamiest ice cream I've found in the Nashville area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The line moves quickly. There's some inside seating but a great park on the block to sit and enjoy. I got the peanut butter cup with peanut butter and chocolate sauce. I love that you can pick what kind of ice cream you want and all the varieties. They even asked if I wanted the toppings mixed in or just on top! I love that option! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Haven't been here in years and glad we stopped by! Our serve Alfredo was fantastic.Good beer selection. Fried pickles were delicious and served with ranch dressing. Our little had kids grilled cheese and glad it came with not only fries but apple slices. The Bison Burger was fantastic - lean but flavorful. Loved the fries the came with them - they had Parmesan, garlic and seasoning with a great mustard type sauce - very good fries! All in all, a good experience all around!

I think crumble is over rated and over priced. I've been there twice when they first opened and haven't been back since. Our local pastry shops are so much better. My opinion.

"If Johnny Rockets, a New Jersey Diner and a 90's Applebee's had a love child...Dalts American Grill would be it. Dalts is located on White Bridge Road near the Target and directly in front of the Trader Joe's. For the most part it is your all American diner with an expansive menu featuring diner classics such as burgers, chicken tenders, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and salads combined with omelets, tacos, pizza and seafood plus desserts of course! The weirdest part of the menu and the mark of a true diner is the "Steak, Ribs & Omelet" section...because you know you always trying to decide between a NY Strip, rack of ribs or veggie omelet! For our meal I went with a diner classic, Patty Melt sided with hashbrown casserole and my partner went the club with fries. The Patty Melt was cooked to temp and overall was a solid burger. I chose white bread in lieu of the rye, personal preference, and the Texas toast held up well. It was the opposite story on the other end of the table as the club was not as successful and the fries were just terrible. The bread for the club was chewy and the filling of the sandwich kept falling out. It was not a well constructed sandwich unfortunately. Before I move on from the food, you do get complimentary biscuits/rolls upon being sat. When you visit a diner, you expect lots of shiny metals, gaudy furnishings, eccentric lighting and artwork...and Dalts has it all. The vibe is "old", but kind of a dated-old as the booths, tables, flooring, ceilings, etc...are quite run down. As I continue to describe Dalts, I struggle a tad as it really is a mix of vibes from the bar that looks like it belongs in a seedy local dive bar, to the large wooden banisters in the dining room combined with the open-air kitchen behind the stainless bar to the standard seating private dining room. Service was decent. There were a lot of servers and staff on during our visit, but service was still decently slow. She was friendly and accurate, and we were not in a rush, so all was well on that end. Overall, we are glad we experienced Dalts given it's place in the local scene. While I do not believe we will go out of our way to dine at Dalts, I can see this as a place my parents would enjoy, so I will be happy to bring them by during visits."
"Yassssss! Don't snooze on this place. We got 2 pieces of cake - vanilla almond and confetti, snickerdoodle cookies, rice Krispy, blueberry pop tart, and chess pie squares. The only thing that wasn't stellar was the cookies. They were kind of hard. Everything else was phenomenal. The cake looked dry, but it wasn't AT ALL. I didn't eat my piece until the next day, and it was still perfect. The chess pie squares were good. The pop tart was divine. I got it because I read they're known for these, so I had to try one. So glad I did. Just amazing. Husband said the rice Krispy was awesome. The online ordering process was really easy. Don't miss out!The parking lot is really small, and it's off a busy road so hard to pull out. Maybe there's parking in the back."
"4.5The Nations -- who saw that coming, right? When I decided to make the trek out west to check out a new* pizza spot, I had to take the time to gawk and grouse. Gawk at the amount of construction and new builds in the neighborhood. I didn't have that on my bingo card ten years ago. Grouse because of all the congestion, issues parking, etc. that comes along with that kind of rapid growth.Midnight Oil is a neighborhood spot. I'm sure it has plenty of patrons - like me- driving to check it out. But it gets more than enough business by locals. The Friday night I visited was packed to the brim. There were people a to e in every square inch of the dining room, bar and overflow area. I managed to push my way to the bar and was surprised** to find an amiable bartender at the other end. He seemed nonplussed by the heavy crowds. He was cheerful and engaging in the face of pure chaos. I was impressed.I'd done my research so I knew what I wanted. I ordered a slice (yep, you can order by the slice; that's worth a star in and of itself) of Sweet Heat, 3 Meat and Buffalo Chicken to go. The bartender took my order and told me it was 'solid.' Since it was to go (ie I was driving), he gave me a glass of water and told me to stay where I was. Despite the crowd and me taking up a place at the bar with water, he didn't push me aside. Kudos, sir. In an appropriate amount of time, my food was ready and he gave me the big box of my bounty. I wished him well and took off.Getting home, I took out a bottle of American Blonde ale from the fridge and got to work. The Sweet Heat was a delicious blend of sweet, savory and spicy courtesy of the sliced capicola, jalapeños and honey drizzle. The 3 Meat was packed with bacon, sausage and pepperoni. And the Buffalo Chicken had a BLEU CHEESE BASE and was topped with chicken, celery, bacon, and buffalo sauce. All three slices were huge and delicious. I could barely finished but I egged myself on. I totally understand why it was so packed. Midnight Oil is legit. It's Friday night. You know where to go. *It was new-ish when I visited.**Sad to say."
"Yes, this is a coffee shop i side a hotel. But they have all that us coffee nerds require here. Great soot to take in a coffee or espresso and relax. Wonderful view outside and the hotel lobby is steps away. Great place for a coffee if you're close by. It's a bit pricey. I spent $5 for a medium sized Americano."
"Modern third wave coffee shop with touches of vintage charm, located in the lobby of Nashville boutique hotel, Noelle. The space is filled with natural light, ample seating, and flat surfaces for working. They serve single origin coffee from local roaster, Sump, and high quality pastries. They also offer a small menu of made to order light fare. I was staying at Noelle, and ended up getting coffee here twice. On my first visit, the Iced Latte was exceptional, with balanced acidity and subtle floral notes. I also loved the Cherry Almond croissant, which had crisp, buttery layers and a delicious fruit jam within. On my next visit, my Cortado was so burnt that I could barely drink it. Perhaps an off day. Regardless, I think this is a good choice over a corporate chain any day."
"My husband and I just stumbled across this place by pure luck. It's off Harding Place and Nolensville Rd in Antioch. I had the hummus plate with falafel and tabooli (it also came with a side of pita). My husband had the chicken mendi. The owners came by and talked to us; such a nice family. They told us about their culture and how the food is prepared. Fascinating! They asked us if we wanted dessert and said they were trying out a new recipe called pistachio cheesecake. Of course we had to try it! I just sat and shook my head in disbelief with every bite. So. So. Good. The place is extremely clean and I love the traditional booths that are closed in and intimate.I told the owner that I would put this place up against any restaurant in NYC. And if I were Paul Hollywood, he'd be getting a handshake. Restaurant experiences like this is why I still love leaving Yelp reviews!"
"This is definitely one of my favorite places! I've been here three times with the occasion and experience being unique each time but always great! This last time was by far the best. I am tempted not to share their big secret which is they are now open for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday! I LOVE finding Saturday brunch places because Sunday brunch is always too busy and it can make it not enjoyable. We sat near the window so we didn't have the cold of the outside but the warmth of the sun! There were people enjoying their meal outside including someone with a dog and a baby. The mimosa options were great tasting and a great value! The Creme Brulee French toast was amazing and the Benedict was prepared perfectly. 100% WILL be returning!"
"Great food. Small establishment. Everyone pleasant. Some foods made to order & fresh! Come early as popular items run out. Daily specials. Very happy this is close to my house."
"Something told me to stop here; great choice! Catfish was incredible and the Mac/cheese was real stuff; green beans awesome. It's mostly a to go place but there is a counter snd some stools to sit inside. And it's all prepared for you so you'll wait for it to be cooked (not just warmed in the microwave). I'll definitely stop here again. Good down home food!"
"This place is a treasure. Great friendly staff and the food is simply amazing. They have daily specials and their chef could be at a multi-starred establishment downtown.Great bar area, open and airy with really a neat atmosphere all around. The burger I had was top notch fresh beef cooked perfectly with a mound of fries I could not finish --- did I mention it was $6.95 on a Tuesday special? They have sandwiches, seafood, steaks and a nice assortment of tap brews along with a full bar. It's the people though that really make this place my new fave. So glad we recently moved to 12 Stones. This place is a real "hidden" gem. As a matter of fact..... never mind, don't come here as I want to keep this place to myself! But seriously you will not regret coming here with any type of party. It may be on a golf course but it's WELL above a clubhouse-type eatery."
"We happened to be having dinner nearby and decided to check out this bakery afterwards. We felt a little lost when we walked in because we didn't observe any signs labeling the different varieties of bread. However, an employee quickly walked up to us and let us know that the trays and tongs were by the door, and identified a few of the breads that looked interesting to us. Since it was our first time here, I was hesitant and choose two items--a pineapple bread and a cherry bread. The purchase was less than $2. Something like $1.80, which seemed really inexpensive because the two items were pretty hefty in size.Took them back to our hotel and split them in half. OMG...they were so good. I was tempted to eat the other half but decided to be nice and share them with my husband who thought they were good too.For the next two days, I kept thinking about this bakery and ways I could convince my husband to take me back there. However, my conscience for trying not to eat too many sweets and carbs got the better of me and we didn't have a chance to go back. But in the future, if we're ever in the area again, I can't wait to go back to this bakery and try more of their items. So delicious! Glad it's not close to where I live otherwise I'd be in trouble!"
"I order Uber Eats and this was by far some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I knew once I tasted the salsa, the food was going to be good. I give this place 5 stars and will visit the restaurant soon and often. The portions were great and the prices are amazing. I'm hooked."
"I was exploring Nashville and killing some time, and I decided to pop in here. I had just come from brunch so I wasn't hungry, but I decided to have a tasty London fog tea latte, it was delicious! I also appreciated that I could just sit and relax and enjoy my tea. The donuts looked amazing and they had many visitors! I need to come back here with an appetite to try some treats one day."
"These cakes are AMAZING! My husband ordered several of them (since the typical offering is 4 inch cakes) for us to taste test at my birthday dinner. Everyone (both GF and non-GF individuals) was a fan! GF baked goods can be difficult to produce in terms of quality, taste, and texture in comparison to traditional baking but Chunk is able to do it so well! We will 100% be ordering from them again."
"Went today first time in about a year to see maybe if it got better. My shake was good but the ice cream mix in a cone was horrible. Two young gals who didn't seem to know what they were doing fixed her cone. Supposed to be a double dip. Barely came to the top of the cone. Plus she had to ask for the topping that's shows in the picture. Then she pretty much sipped it cause it wasn't solidified all I can say it was not any better than a year ago. Off the list it goes"
"This place is good. Tried them based on a friend's recommendation and I can't lie it was really good. The fish and chicken was cooked fresh to order. The fried pickles were a little greasy but tasted amazing also. Overall I would go back and try a different spice level."
"I was unimpressed with this place. On my second trip out to Nashville we decided to grab something to eat on the way to our hotel. My husband wanted southern food cafeteria style and found Swett's on Yelp. Upon arriving I liked that they had lots of choices. I asked for grilled pork chop but the lady ended up giving me fried instead. I got my pork chop with green beans and yams. The pork chop ended up being small and very dry. Like hard-to-swallow-DRY. I had to drink lots of water to not choke. The green beans was my favorite thing I ate. The yams were very greasy. The sweet corn bread I got with my meal was also dry AF. It was a disappointing meal.My husband got their fried chicken with greens and mac n cheese. He also got a berry cobbler on the side. The fried chicken was okay. The greens and mac n cheese were cool. The cobbler was gross. It lacked flavor and wasn't very sweet at all. It had too much thickening agent in it. Since it is cafeteria style there wasn't really any service besides them serving the food at the beginning. I wouldn't say they were friendly either. They just ask what you want and move you along the line. It didn't seem like they wanted to answer any questions. However, Swett's supposedly pride themselves on being around for awhile and having all sorts of "popular" people dine prior. I think its loosing its luster. Or did we come on an off day? Not sure but I don't think we will be returning."
"Bloom & Brew has been open since November and is located next door to Healthy Body Bakery. They offer up coffee, espresso, tea, smoothies and pastries. Y'all, this area really needed a cafe like Bloom & Brew. It has a simple and comfy feel to it; nothing pretentious. Whether you want to meet a friend, read a book or work remotely, it's a very chill spot for all of that. I got the Cuban, iced. It might be my favorite Cuban in all of Nash metro. They have bagels shipped in from New York and I wasn't sure what to expect, but they warmed it up and it was fantastic! It tasted like a fresh made bagel in NYC... I was very pleasantly surprised! Highly recommended, will return!"
"Food here is a little different from traditional Mexican places. EX: Their Chili Rellenos are not deep fried, but the way they do them is pretty good. The cheese is an open faced relleno with red sauce and cheese oven fried. I also tried it with chicken and cheese, where they prepared it with melted cheese dip over a grilled relleno stuffed with diced chicken. Both actually really good, but I was surprised the first time I ordered it in expecting a deep friend rellano. Their "skinny" marg is still pretty sweet so not sure how skinny it is, but it is good. They have some of the best salsa I have ever had. Service is general quick and food always tastes fresh."
"The kids loved this place. The only downside was they do not create characters after 6:30pm. However, they were willing to allow one for the birthday girl. I love when a business is willing to accommodate for a customer. Thank you!"
"¡Este lugar es delicioso! This is the spot for your pan dulce cravings! There bread, and I'm talking every single, was incredibly soft. They offer a great variety as well, from Barquillos to Concha to Churros and Bolillos. Looking for a traditional Mexican treat, you could probably find it here. They have walls of Mexican snacks, chips, and candy. Looking for a piñata or cake for tour next party?...look no further! They also have a huge variety of piñatas (all sorts of characters) and premade, ready to go cakes. We ended up with about 13 pieces and our total was about $15; very reasonable! There's also a bonus, the coffee is free with purchase of your beads. We will definitely make the drive to enjoy some more!"
