"Bottle Cap2403 12th Ave S Nashville, TN 37204Aug. 13, 2023 Sunday -2:15 PM for lunch2 AdultsAtmosphere - 4 starsFood - 5 starsService - 4 stars Background - Another Business trip and hitting up another Diners, Drive In and Dives.Atmosphere - A sports bar with a good kitchen. White dominates the place with a touch of bea dboard. We sat at a high top table. The silverware and napkins are in "old" tin cans, and we had a fork and a napkin.Food Drink - The tap menu is divided in two, the major blah beers, and the other half craft beers which most seemed local. Blackhorse IPA by Blackhorse Brewery Lunch - After looking at the menu and what Guy ate on Triple D, those items were not talking to me. I went with the BC Burger. A little small but an excellent burger. I am craving one now. The sauce on the burger is what made it pop, they call theirs Snappy Sauce. Snap to it!!Service - The napkin and silverware was talked about in an Atmosphere. Hostess were great and waiter was helpful with the beer selection as the menu board was at a bad spot for us. He did disappear when we tried to finish up with the bill.Future - Yes please"
"Such a great addition to WeHo! I've been here twice - once for a corporate party and the second on my own for lunch. One of the best lunch deals in town, a sub/sammy or full sammy for $12 during the week. So filling and tasty. Their pizza and fried pickles are so tasty. I loved everything I tried at the corporate party and on my own. Great spot for pre/post NSC games or just spending some time in the area."
"If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant with a neighborhood feel, this is the place! We're always greeted warmly & absolutely love to sit outside on the covered patio. Despite being on a busy street, the road noise is always minimal. The food comes out fast, hot & flavorful. Our go-to dishes are the white queso dip, street tacos & the burritos. Love that we can try out margarita flights & enjoy their new wine choices."
"THE BEST chicken tenders I've ever had. Perfect in every way. Truly tender. Selection of sauce to boot! Variety of sides?!? The chop chop salad with rotisserie chicken was perfect portion with fresh mixed greens and strong blue cheese! This particular spot is extra great b/c of their staff. Everyone I've encountered here is dang delightful and great customer service. The set up is a blend of fast & casual dining, but the food is true quality. They have a bunch of TVs and a nice bar set up that seems perfect for game watching; and the bar is full service of beer and liquor with great selection. Or there's a drive through for your food to go!Bonus - Tuesday tenders special!Hoping one of these will open on the east side of town!"
"A friend took me here, tried the falafel appetizer and a gyro plate without rice (aka salad with gyro on top). Short menu which is usually a good sign. Falafel was perfectly fried outside, good flavors, served with tahini sauce. Gyro wasn't sliced gyro but chunk of gyro, and the outside was slightly crispy. Salad, tomatoes, cucumbers all fresh, good sauces on top. Their hot sauce is awesome, actually spicy but with flavor at the same time. I really enjoyed it! Prices are a bit high for the amount of food, and also there were mosquitoes in their outdoor eating area which I didn't appreciate at all. Otherwise, good food!"
"A small, unassuming business nestled in the middle of the world of high rises. It's astounding how many times I walked past this place and didn't even register it existed until I was looking for a good breakfast online - and Varallo's came up again and again. It did not disappoint either! Their omelet was everything I was looking for with lots gooey cheese and served hot enough that I had to wait for it to cool down. Yum! And at a price that was 1/2 what all of the other nearby breakfast places wanted! The biscuits were just as delicious with your choice of strawberry or grape packets to go alongside it. The biscuits didn't need it, though, with soft, flakey, lightly-buttered flavoring that was perfectly warmed and ready to eat. I was "meh" on the oatmeal. I'd guess it's made from standard, unflavored oats because it doesn't have much of a flavor to it at all. Make sure to get some sort of brown sugar or other topping to give it some flavor. All food is served in styrofoam, so the waste here isn't great, but sometimes the nice, cheap prices a restaurant can offer are reflected in how much it costs them to operate, so I get it. A small diner run by just a few employees, expect a little bit of a wait to order and get your food. Some people were calling in to place orders to get them ready for pick-up if you're in a time-rush. Lots of people got their orders to-go (still requires waiting, though, if you order at the counter!) if you don't want to eat at one of their 8-ish four-person tables with armless chairs. Did not see a restroom here for customers."
"This has to be the biggest hidden gem in Nashville. Gannons came up during a random Yelp search I was conducting. I decided to give it a try. My bf and I was seeing a show at TPAC and walked over to Gannons afterwards. Our reservation was for 5:30pm, but they were able to get us in at 5pm. The entire staff was amazing. Our waiter Mark went over and beyond to make sure our visit was amazing. Please ask for him if you go.The main star of our meal was the pork chop with a peach glaze. Just when I thought Urban Grub and Perry's had the best pork chop in town. The pork chop was 20 out of 10. It was prepared perfect with its juices still in tact. The peach glaze was an added bonus. I also enjoyed the cream spinach. How could I forget about the Brie oysters I had as a starter. Please forgive me, talk about a flavor parade. Oysters Rockefeller who, it's all bout the Brie . Overall, this is the perfect date night for an elevated intimate dinner."
"At the time of this writing, the original McDougal's on Belcourt was recovering from fire damage, the Brentwood McDougal's was still under construction, and the other stores that once extended deep into Williamson County were long closed. So this was the only extant member of the franchise at which I could get my fix of those incredible McDougal's chicken tenders! And it was not disappointing in the least! There is something this Nashville icon does perfectly that nobody else can replicate. It's the batter! Super crispy, but thin and crumbly, you'll watch flakes of beautiful batter drop onto your plate as you sink your teeth into the most tender, juicy chicken you could ever imagine. These are unequivocally the best chicken fingers in the Nashville metropolitan area! The fries are fresh cut daily and delicious, although a little soggy. The multitude of sauces are always freshly made. This is the only location that does not offer free ice cream, but that's okay. The patio they're currently renovating is going to beat all ground-level outdoor spaces in the city!"
"Have had my eye on Mariscos Sayulita Nayarit but it's on the other side of town and I would pass three places I enjoy just to get out there. Today I took the drive out there so I could check them off my list and I now regret waiting so long. This place is clean, bright, nicely decorated, and the staff is extremely friendly even with my poor Spanish. I took a seat at the bar and Elisa (sp) took my beer order and all of a sudden a server brought me a plate I didn't order (it was complimentary). The dish was called Tostada de Ceviche Marlin and it's marinated Marlin on a tortilla shell with diced tomato and celery. I gave it a try and it is fresh with a light "pickled" flavor, and with the garnishment is really quite good. The chips and salsa was served and I really liked the salsa, mild, a nice flavor, and you can tell it's made in-house. This menu can take you a bit to study and while Nayarit style seafood is the emphasis, there are many traditional Mexican dishes available too. After watching dishes being served to various tables (that looked incredible) I decided on the Fajitas Sayulita which one of the waitresses gave me a two thumbs-up! This consisted of bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, ribs, fajita steak & chicken, along with traditional sides. My first bite was some of the chicken with the onions & peppers on a tortilla and it was a "WOW" moment...great flavor and very tender. Loved the bacon wrapped shrimp which were also filled with queso cheese...these are addicting. Everything on the platter was great...some of the best fajita flavors around. Overall this dish is a real standout and I am looking forward to trying some of the seafood offerings. ALL of the servers were great answering questions and making me feel welcome. For me...this spot is well worth the trek across town to enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine."
"My daughter and I have been looking forward to this place opening as it's very close to the house and we love enjoying Chinese food together.Tonight we were on our own for dinner so we decided to stop in. I ordered chicken egg foo young and some egg drop soup. Guess I was in the mood for eggs. My daughter decided on the sesame chicken. We then split an order of crab rangoons and shared an order of chicken lo mein. All of the dishes were served in generous portions and we both took home some leftovers to enjoy later. Each dish tasted very good and the crab rangoons stood out with light flavors of orange and maybe even a hint of coconut. Staff was very friendly. Warmly greeted us as w came in and each patron that came and left after us.If you like Chinese, definitely add this to your list of destinations to try. I'm certain you won't be disappointed."
"Ordered delivery through Yelp (who gets it from Grubhub) for 4 people, got:- fresh spring rolls: pretty tasty, good sauce, lots of vegetables, light- spicy noodles (otherwise known as pad kee mao / drunken noodle) with tofu: quite tasty, liked that it was spicy (I asked for it spicy) and quite flavorful. Noodles weren't chewy though and stuck together a bit.- pad thai: comes with chicken and shrimp, not much flavor. Noodles all stuck together, nothing impressive.- red curry with tofu and green curry with tofu: both watered down, flavor was just okay. Asked for the green curry to be spicy which it was so at least that was good. Good amount of vegetables and tofu.Good amount of food, came out to be around $67 post-tax pre-tip, but for whatever reason, there was about $14 of delivery and service fee on top of that charged, yikes."

Visit Restaurant Page"I don't know this place today!!!!! Ok... yeah what!? I'm so confused like I have been in Nashville for about 22 years and since I was allowed to go to bars I've been coming here!!!! Like for the low key, authentic country penetrating south feel. Sling (I know my English is not very good looking and saying it wrong but, sorry :). He was kind of nice in his own way I guess... I was seating at the height too tables by the entrance and I thought those were part of the bar area in the past and he brought the food for the people I was with so when I asked if he was also the person taking care of drinks he said "I guess I can..." and took my order. My friend loved him because well he was a bit on happy adult drinks got to meet Kylie Morgan and her husband Jay Allen! They are as beautiful as they are on Instagram... very sweet and humble couple. The place a back to old "old times" around midnight according to Sling the bartender. He was ok. I got to dance with Mr. Michael (amazing!!!!!) ok moving on... It has been about 19 months since I've been here last and wow!!! I can't believe this place now. They have a big dance floor room open but that has a cover $7. I waited till they were closing to just check it out. I'm confused. I didn't even know that was a room!!! It cut off at the bathroom hall or so I thought. Then there is this huge dance floor!!??? If you like to dance please come check it out! They also have food."
"This old auto shop got converted into this eclectic, hipster, dive bar and eatery. They transformed it for many bands to showcase their talent. The food here are made in the house. It's fascinating to see the graffiti art on the wall and all the unique, colorful artistry behind their interior decor hanging around. They do need updates i their furniture, but I believe this is what makes their place one of a kind.As far as the food I loaded up in with their "Phat special" menu.I enjoyed their pita and hummus appetizer and the salad I got was good. The food wasnt as memorable as the decor. But it is a great place for vegans to vegetarians. There bar and their night life must be a hit. In the area.."
"Finally made my way to East Side Banh Mi (sadly took me four years!). They recently updated their interior and it's so pretty inside, with booth seating as well as barstools along their glass windows. There's parking in front of the restaurant but I parked on the street for ease (free street parking FTW!). Decided to try their seasonal limeade which was blood orange. This drink was incredible! Refreshing and delicious! A true 10/10! I also got the shrimp spring rolls, which were really fresh but didn't wow me. The banh mi though, was INCREDIBLE! One of the best I've had outside of Vietnam. I tried the pork but want to order the steak next time. My other favorites were the sweet potatoes, which come with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. Don't skip the chocolate chip cookie, either! I got one to go and it was a damn near perfect cookie. Slightly crispy on the outside, slightly salted. So good!I can't wait to go back and see the great staff, who made sure I was well taken care of during my visit!"
"As I walked in I was greeted with a friendly "morning y'all" and those simple words not only started but defined my experience at this restaurant. This is a restaurant that serves a small southern town. It is by no means fancy, but it fits in Joelton as a welcome member of this community. It provides simple country cooking at a fair price served by friendly servers. In fact, many were greeted by name as they walked in.I had the chicken fried chicken (which was the breakfast and lunch special). I had it with eggs over easy, toast, and home fries. The home fries were good and the eggs properly prepared but the chicken fried chicken and the accompanying white gravy were definitely unspectacular. In fact, I would hazard a guess that the chicken came out of a frozen box and the white gravy came out of a can.As I said, this restaurant will never be written in the pages of culinary history, but it will remain in the memories of countless kids who grew up here as they reminisce about the good old days."
"This is the perfect spot when the weather is nice. Go sit on their large patio, watch the sun set and drink a bushwacker. You can watch as ducks fly over, boats come in for the night and watch planes taking off or landing nearby at John C Tune Airport. It's very peaceful here. Families and date nights alike- this is a good spot for you. If you're looking for a healthy menu, they do have a few options, but we did not try those. The Goods:- free parking in the large lot at the marina- service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. - food was freshly made to order but came out extremely fast - food was really tasty! - Bushwacker (icy chocolatey boozy drink) for the winHere's what we ordered:- Fried cheese curds - we got them "plain" which means they weren't dipped in buffalo sauce. A side of ranch and also marinara are provided and let me tell you- this dish was a delight. So good!- Mahi Mahi Tacos- yum! This dish comes with 2 tacos (you can add a third for $6) and some delicious sauce made with ranch. Also a side that's mixed with black beans & yellow rice. All very good. - French Fries - so crispy with a hint of seasoning and a lot of salt. Just how I like them!- Fried Coconut Shrimp - didn't love that sauce they come with but the shrimp were SO GOOD! The Not So Goods:- You do have to take a ramp from the parking lot to get to the restaurant. I'm not handicap, but I would imagine this ramp might be a little difficult for someone who is. - They don't allow pets on the patio so keep your furry friends at home. I'd love to bring my dog but this isn't a reason to keep me away. - take a jacket or sweatshirt if you sit by the water. It can get chilly. Love that this place is within walking distance in my neighborhood. We will be back!"
"Love seeing new places in Nashville! Food was delicious and costumer service was great! The aesthetics were unique and a vibe in itself!"
"Pullman Standard is my go to for excellent ambiance, delicious cocktails, kind bartenders. It is such a great escape from the craziness of broadway, and really feels like a place that isn't in Nashville, but somewhere in New York or Europe. The space is welcoming and stunning with huge windows, and every cocktail I've ever had is hand crafted and delicious. The bartenders are skilled but incredibly friendly - when we received an espresso martini garnished with Pocky, I mentioned I love Pocky and they gave me an extra as a snack - just great people. Haven't had their food yet but it looks delicious.Such a great spot that is unique and different from other cocktail bars in the area!"
"I came by for lunch today while in town and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu items for vegetarians. The manager (or owner) shared his opinions since it was my first time and I decided on the Veggie Platter and it was delicious! It included tabouli, lentils, rice, hummus, falafel and pita bread. The hummus was delicious so I ordered another small portion as well. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting today and will be returning when I'm back in town."
"Ambiance good for a girl's night out, special dinner with a partner and family. I loved the table bread, drink and dessert with my least being my main course, the pork ribeye. Nothing bad about it, but it didn't super wow me. Our waitress was great and attentive."
"I think maybe this place was still getting back into the in-person dining groove when I arrived as it was not crowded inside but was doing plenty of takeout business. I'm happy not to need a reservation, but I'd argue it should be busier as this was tasty stuff.Promising Chinese with a Southern American influence, this place delivered one of the more magnificent egg rolls you'll ever see, with a filling heavy on raddichio and a sharply contrasting pineapple-flavored sauce. My tofu dish came with peanuts and mala onions which had a hint of Sichuan peppercorn flavor. I opted not to order rice, and the dish was quite delicious without. A zingy non-alcoholic beverage completed my meal."

Amazing food and service! Dined here last night and was a little nervous after looking at reviews, but found my experience to be a positive one. Drinks and food were tasty and fresh, my server was attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was chill and not overly loud. I got the buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and both were delicious. My margarita was yummy as well. I didn't find it to be too loud where I couldn't talk to my friend but I can see how it could be bothersome for others.

My family and I went to Titos in Spring Hill and recommended this location. Friendly staff and excellent customer service! This place was busy and hopping for a weeknight. We enjoyed their authentic chips and salsa. I enjoyed the Texas chimichanga while my family each enjoyed the Chimichanga,Southwest Quesadilla, and Fajita Taco Salad. Everything was delicious and will return on another trip.

I'm really happy I got the Fowl Mouth Sandwich. It wasn't just heat but flavorful heat! And this is a sandwich worth getting. But if that's not enough, there are add-on sauces you can try that range from mild to spicy. PS - The staff here were extremely friendly and pleasant too

I had been wanting to try King Tuts for the longest time but am never in that part of the city. Today was my lucky day to get my lunch at King Tuts! Big thanks to Googlemaps for helping me locate this food truck/restaurant. It is tucked away in the back of a parking lot, so it's easy to miss when driving by. You order at the food truck window outside and can either take your food to go, eat inside or eat in the back patio. The woman who greeted me was very polite and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate. I asked her if I could get some pita bread and I think she did not understand what I was saying. I dropped it. I don't need the calories. My food was really good and even though my food was to-go, the presentation was still pretty. There was a bed of rice (thankfully not a mountain of rice), some mixed greens, chicken, sauce and some veggies. There was not a menu with any descriptions, so I am not exactly sure what was on my entree but it was delicious. The chicken was moist, tender and full of flavor. The entire plate was well-seasoned and did not require any additional salt or spice.I can't wait to go back and take my husband to try the food. So good!

I have eaten here once years ago when I was downtown working. This was before I was working downtown exclusively, so it was before 2016. Now that I've worked downtown for a while I always passed this place but never went in, until today. I was very pleased they served breakfast. When you enter the restaurant, it smells like a museum, which seems kind of fitting because it is the oldest restaurant in Nashville. also when they first opened, they were at a different location which I learned from looking at the interesting photos on the wall. I opted for a breakfast wrap. All the prices are very reasonable, especially for being downtown and especially after all the inflation that's been going on on my visit. It was before 8 AM on a Wednesday and there were two people working one guy back on the grill and another guy taking orders and checking people out, the guy was very nice. He took my order and the others behind me so that the order could be placed and the food made as quick as possible. They give a discount if you pay cash because they have one of those new machines or you tap to pay I opted to pay cash, which was a bonus, it helps if you pay cash in places for people because I think they get charged a fee. The food was made very quickly and I didn't mind waiting because there was plenty on the walls to look at. There were a few drivers that came in to pick up orders as well. He handed me my food and a brown paper bag, and I walked back to my office. the breakfast burrito was small, but still a great value for the price. Everywhere else downtown if you're gonna pay twice as much, for example across the street at the café at the Bobby hotel. Their prices are extremely high, but I suppose it's because its a high priced hotel and their customers.Overall, friendly service, quick service and decent food at a decent price

First time coming here. My husband wanted to try a new restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Valet was a bit pricey; however, my husband was able to find street parking near the restaurant that's was inexpensive and a very short walk (he dropped me off at the restaurant so I didn't have to walk ;) ).It's not a large restaurant but the vibe was very demure, very classy (iykyk). Our waiter Max was great, my husband is vegan so he made sure he was accommodated.I ordered the Oyster Rockefeller, which was one of the best I have ever had, very delish. My entree I had the prime rib. It was a little more fatty than I like but it was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered mushrooms and they gave him a choice bt a tomato base pasta or olive oil. He chose the olive oil and it was packed with yummy veggies and artichokes. He really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to come back!
Visit Restaurant Page"This is a chain restaurant that's located at the mall. The staff were friendly, and the place is a little dim inside. The decor is like an Italian restaurant. The pizza is so delicious. They have other options of food items, but I strongly recommend the pizza. I tried their brussels sprout salad, which was different friendly clean plenty of parking in the parking lot. I hope that you enjoy."
"Layer Cake- The name says it all in this multi-level wow adventure. I reserved a table for a group of five in the Dining Room for Brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Upon entrance the ambience was fun, inviting, and picture opportunity heaven. We were greeted and seated immediately. Reservations are highly encouraged. Each floor had a unique food, drink, and dessert menu. We ordered from the brunch menu: A delicious plant-based/vegan/vegetarian option is the Avocado Hummus with grilled corn and black bean Pico, grilled Pita, and fresh veggies. The pita bread was warm and veggies were fresh. It was delicious. I also ordered the Red Velvet Waffle Stack. It was a sweet and satisfying treat. My friends enjoyed the Popcorn chicken, smoked wings, and duck fat tater tots. They had no complaints. After brunch we headed upstairs to the roof top to enjoy the DJ and beautiful view. We saved the best for last, the Wonder Room. Full of color and vibrant decor that is absolutely beautiful. Definitely will return soon for happy hour and to enjoy one of their many monthly events. Highly recommend."
"Passed by a few times and decided to stop in with the hubby to get an order To Go. It was completely packed when we walked in, and it was all guys working or hanging out there. I only saw two women having coffee on their own. Just surprised, because I haven't been to a coffee shop where it's like 98% guys. It's a really nice place and the person behind the counter was fantastic - they had great energy and welcoming. We ordered at Cortado and Cold Press, and both were great! Also ordered the Breakfast Slider with bacon. It was a filling little sandwich, and very tasty! Waffle was great and delicious. We also ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. We really thought it came on a biscuit (didn't see the pics online) and when we got home realized it was a waffle. Gave it a try - and it was AMAZING! Who knew? I mean it was even better than a traditional Biscuit Sandwich. Plus when we got home, the order was packed well and it was still warm.Definitely coming back again!"
"I finally got to introduce my boyfriend to Indian food! This was just the place. It was busy the whole time we were there (weeknight), both at the tables and with people grabbing to-go orders. The Chai was hot (really hot-we both added ice from our water), but once it cooled down was very good. It was served light, so either they added some kind of creamer or used a powder mix, but it wasn't sweet so that was good. They brought out sugar with it to add your own sweetness. Veggie Samosas - we had to get these, and I'm glad we did! They were really good, had nice flavor, and the sauces were great, too. He tried the Butter Chicken - it was mild and he liked it though even mild he thought was right on the cusp of being spicy (we had different opinions on that - I thought it was definitely mild) but we both really liked it. It reminded me of an Indian vodka sauce, maybe? Very rich and really filling.I had the Navataran Koorma (Veggie curry) and that was lovely. Mine was medium heat and that's about where I'm good; it still has all the flavor and it takes a few minutes for my nose to realize what's happening hahaGarlic Naan was amazing, and we got some butter naan to go. (FYI-It reheated well in our air fryer!)"
"Great local spot that also has a drive up window. I decided to try the cinnamon latte and it was delicious along with a veggie soufflé. Much better than any chain hands down. Would definitely stop if in the area."
"Mexican seafoood just a while different ballgame. If you are adventurous go get yourself sone mariscos at this joint bc it's very unique around these parts. This is not a place to get chicken nachos, queso, bottomless salsa, maragariatas..It is a joint with authentic Mexican seafood. The ambiance isn't spectacular. It's not cheap but good seafood isn't cheap and at least you're not paying extra for the bells and whistles. These guys really try and succeed on delivering quality to the table. Great spot for a true foodie looking to explore amd appreciate something special. Tried ceviche amd fried whole grouper (with amazing sauce on side) and both delicious I've had the shrimp coctel 5x now and it's always fantastic. Support these cats. You lucky to have em if this is your hood!"
"Love this restaurant and the service! It's such a great neighborhood "hidden jewel." Atmosphere is very pleasant and it's always wonderful to walk in.Spinach enchiladas are my absolute favorite. In my opinion, no one in Nashville/Brentwood even comes close."
"Wow! A friend introduced me to Dozen for a midweek lunch, and I am still thinking about it two weeks later! We arrived around noon on a Thursday and only had to wait in line a few minutes. You can tell that this spot gets busy quickly -- and we did have to quickly snag an open table. My friend (who had been here before) said the Ham & Cheese Croissant is her absolute favorite, but they run out of them quickly because they're everyone's favorite! Instead, we split the Salami sandwich on baguette, which was wonderful. The crusty bread balanced perfectly with the fatty salami and the creamy, tangy mayo. I also ordered one of their seasonal lattes, which was a nice accompaniment at any time of day. I couldn't resist grabbing one of their enormous Snickerdoodle cookies for the road ... and I'm not ashamed to say I enjoyed most of it on my car ride home. I'm excited to stop by Dozen again soon!"
