"This evening there were eight of us that have traveled together from different parts of the country gathering in Miami for dinner. We sat down and we're introduced to our waiter Alexis, the table they originally had for us was a little bit tight, when we brought it to his attention, he quickly took us to a different part of the restaurant behind the wine cellar that was extremely comfortable for a party of eight. We started the evening with cocktails, we had everything from white wine, to Mojitos, to a spicy passionfruit kettle one vodka with jalapeños, a margarita and then an old-fashioned. For dinner we had a Bronzino, several 10 ounce filet mignon and a few racks of lamb. For dessert we had a chocolate brownie with a vanilla ice cream that was decadent. It was a fabulous culinary experience."
"Saw this place and it looked nice ordered a couple of beers on tap extremely cold and very good. Ordered charcuterie plate wow it is good but fair warming it is not cheap but it's worth trying"

From the ambiance to the service and of course the food, it was easily become one of my favorite spots to hang out and grab delicious food in Miami. Here's what we ordered: - Parker rolls (a must)- Cesar salad...AMAZING!- Steak tartare... one of my favorites in Miami- Hanger steak, cooked to perfection- Fingerling potatoes... YUM!Everything they offer is made so well! I'm honestly amazed with how well they have perfected each dish and have created such a welcoming, homey environment. The tunes they play are another reason why I love it so much, just think jazzy, blues, and old school jams under the lit up tree... ahh my fave!"
"Francisca's was my recovery dinner on a rainy Memorial Day Monday after my trip. I was dropping off my laundry and stopped just to good a good solid meal after my "soaked" weekend. The tostones had a nice crisp to them, and the yuca was nicely steamed and flavored with garlic mojo. I liked that my chicken breast had a nice smokey flavor, plenty of meat and juicy. With the almond dusting and rich nutella my pudding was the perfect closing. All in all, the food was a solid 4 if not higher. The reason why it just makes 3 stars is similar to that of a few other reviews: service seemed slow, judgy and unattentive. The minute that I said I was only drinking water only I could sense the service being less than enthusiastic. I was offered bottled water - no problem in the wallet for me - but was surprised to later be able to get tap water at the end. I had to wait more than a little between plates. When I asked another waitress for utensils I got a "I'm not your waitress" instead of more politely offering to get her. Also, they could use better A/C..I like the smokiness in my tastebuds and not my clothes."
"I had the opportunity to check out Mayfair Grill this weekend! Wow it did not disappoint! Giorgio Rapicavoli has done it again! #iykyk!! Everything we ate was perfection. We started with the Yellowfin tuna crudo, black truffle & potato croquetas, & the white bean hummus. All were amazing but truffle crème fraǐche that came with the croquetas is living rent free in my brain at the moment. The highlight of the night was our main dish the Iberico Pork Churrasco. Ill be honest pork is not my usual go to when dining out but it was highly recommended and Im glad we went for it. We finished the night with the Pineapple upside down tart. It was the perfect blend of sweet & sour. Im excited to see the Mayfair making a come back and look forward to their brunch / lunch menus to launch soon!"
"This is one of my favorite little spots. They basically don't have a menu, if you come here you will eat a mixed green salad, with candied walnuts, and a mustard vinaigrette. This is served with perfect French bread and real butter cups. For your main dish you will get steak served with their signature sauce and bottomless French fries. The steak is prepared sous vide, which means it is sealed and boiled. This is the only place I have experienced this preparation. Somehow it turns the meat into the most tender cut you will ever experience. You can cut it with your fork. The tables are covered with white butcher paper as the table cloth. One of the coolest things Lenterecote does is come out and stamp the dessert menu on the paper when it is time. There is a Yelp check-in for a free dessert but is only good Mon-Thurs. I had the two traditional French desserts they offer. For my tastes, the Creme brûlée was the one. The Profitaroles were good, especially the melted chocolate, but the pastries that held the ice cream were not fresh. Lentrecote has a solid spot in my rotation of restaurants I revisit. They are unpretentious, and just get down to the few things they serve with excellence. I highly recommend."
"I think this place is so cute! Its so big and homey with the perfect touch of elegance. We had a big party to celebrate my husband's birthday and the restaurant was very accomodating. My favorite part of our entire experience here were the alcoholic beverages/drinks! Everything I tried was so good but my favorite was the Buenos Aires. Oh my gosh! So good and fruity without being overly sweet. We ordered the ribeye which was as good as always. The burger was HUGE and came with a tiny burger on top which was just so funny...my friend who was there could not even finish the plate. The party itself went seemless and the restaurant was very accommodating of our large party. The outside area is well covered and well lit. It is quite romantic to sit outside, so I would recommend. Overall everyone and my husband were pleased with their experience and I would 100% come back either for date night or to host another dinner again."
"This restaurant is a great go to for a nice steak lunch. The lights are a bit dim and the service is great. Being an Argentinian steak house, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.Having come here a few times I've had everything from all of their cuts, to the lobster; Nothing disappoints here.Their wine selection is top notch. I can always count on them to recommend a great glass of wine."
"NEW NAME: PRIME 54So this restaurant has gone through numerous changes, and the first one is a new name, so if you are looking at this place, just know that it is now called Prime 54.We came here for dinner the last night of our stay in Miami, and my gf was stoked to try the Truffle Bread, which she has raved about forever, but sadly, it does not exsist anymore. So, bottom line here is this place will really take care of you. The manager, Tony, truly a gem of a guy. Friendly, accommodating, personable, professional, and will really turn this place into something amazing. Our server, very helpful, attentive, and gave great recommendations for us in terms of what to order, as we got a bunch of apps and some drinks to share. The food was very good. The Brussel Sprouts were delicious, The Octopus was fresh, the Mac and Cheese was alright, very filling though, and the Cesar Salad was the best one I've had out of all of them.A great place to come for a fancy upscale dinner, and also a nice spot to people watch!"
"I finally dined in the main dining room of Klaw and let me tell you, it was as swanky and marvelous as I would have imagined. While I have visited the rooftop of this gorgeous venue, I hadn't made my way in for dinner. I decided to take advantage of Miami Spice, which the restaurant is offering every day until the end of September. The deal is great. For $60 you can choose from great appetizers- oysters, beef tartare, or salad. Then the entrees get even better. You can choose from sole, filet or a 12 oz ribeye. I opted for the ribeye and my dad got the filet. We both got the truffle sauce and steak fries. They went excellent. No Miami spice is complete without dessert. I went with the chocolate bar which was the perfect mix of mouse and crunch and layers of flavor. Our server was super nice and attentive throughout the dinner. I also loved that the spice menu came with som's choice wine for $12 a glass. As always, the cocktails are top notch. If you haven't visited Klaw, Miami Spice is the perfect opportunity to do so."
"I recently dined at Lafayette Steakhouse, a new addition to Brickell's vibrant food scene, and it was a stellar experience. The food was absolutely incredible, from the perfectly cooked hanger steak to the branzino, both of which were served with flavorful condiments that elevated the dishes. One of the standouts for me was the pork belly--crispy, succulent, and utterly delicious. And let's not forget dessert! The cookie was simply to die for--oozy on the inside, with a perfect crisp on the outside, a real must-try.The atmosphere of Lafayette is elegant, chic, and sophisticated, with darker shades that create a moody yet inviting vibe. It feels like stepping into a stylish escape from the bustling Brickell streets--a perfect setting for a special night out.The service was friendly, but admittedly a little on the slower side. However, the overall ambiance and quality of the food more than made up for it.Lafayette is clearly aiming to be more than just a steakhouse--it's an experience, blending the charm of a vintage steakhouse with a modern flair. I can't wait to return!"
"2/18/2023 UPDATE!!! I had some doubts a couple months ago about the knife lacking some customer service but all is resolved now! Staff is very attentive and friendly. Food was cooked fresh, hot, and ready to serve. I don't know if they changed management, I noticed a few new employees so maybe that's why. Highly recommend the Knife Bayside to anyone (:"

This spot has been on my Miami list for ages. When a friend suggested we go here for Miami spice. I was like yes finally ! We went for lunch on Saturday with no reservation. It was a rainy day so it was fairly busy. The lunch menu for Miami spice had diverse options. I ordered the salmon. For the appetizer I asked for no Ham on the goat cheese balls. The waiter brought it wrapped with the Ham. When I told him I ordered it without it. Tell me why he brought it back within the next few seconds. It was as if he did not bring a new one. He just took the Ham off and brought it back. For a restaurant of this caliber I would expect better. Also my friend asked for her dish to be in a To go bag ,the waiter never brought it. Not the best service.Overall not the best Miami spice experience. I am willing to give it another try.The salmon was cooked nicely. Easy parking.

I preface this review with that I have been here before and have had a great experience, however this last visit was abysmal: and my last. It was scorching in the place. We asked the owner to lower the temperature several times only to be told there was an issue and that it was already cool. I and others took off our diner jackets. I was part of a large group. We had a set menu, croquettes and paella. The croquettas were actually good. That's it. Full stop. Everything else was revolting. I was given the paella. Burnt to a crisp. It was inedible. The salt content was equal to the Dead Sea. The shrimp was so burnt it should've been sent to a burn unit. The person sitting in front of me had the steak. Same issue with the salt; so much so that he left half of it thinking he may stroke out. Not once were we asked about the food. Copious amounts of food were left on the table. The desert, Tarta De Santiago, was old, dry and no taste of the main ingredient: almonds. The highlight of the meal was the bread and the aforementioned croquettas. The meal came with a flamenco show. The dancers have been there for awhile and are actually a really good troupe. The get a star for the show and one for being a family run business. Fine dining in Miami is having a renaissance. The Gables is one of these epicenters in the culinary scene. Belmont a grand dame, needs an injection of fresh energy. It is going to face strong head winds with the addition of two Spanish themed restaurants on the same block. If it does not change course soon it will flounder like a galleon on the shoals of the competition.

I enjoyed an amazing dinner at Sunny's. It was kind of hard to get a reservation so we ended up with a 5PM res and were the first ones there. Everyone was super friendly and made us feel welcome. As rain clouds rolled in, the staff got to work making sure all the uncovered seats got cover from the rain. They definitely took care of us and we did not get wet even though it was pouring. I loved all the food! My favorites were the wagyu tartare and the hanger steak with potato butter. Honestly, the potato butter was soooo good! No complaints about any of the dishes though, I liked them all! The cocktails were also nice. I would definitely come back and would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice dinner!

Good restaurant for sure! The ambiance is a cool vibe especially inside and the food is good. The service was great and they were very careful with my allergies. We ordered the steak tartare to start and it was the best thing we had. The chicken was really good and the steak was good too with an interesting miso based sauce. The tostones were also good but I would probably order something else next time. The oyster mushroom was good just needed a little sauce or something. All in all I know this restaurant will be even more amazing as time passes because the chef is one of the best!

I don't know anything about Lentrecote or French cuisine but the food was seriously great. The simplicity was refreshing. The salad dressing was simple yet had depth. Very good. The steak and sauce had great flavor tones and was better than I expected. It was so good I wanted another steak even though I was a bit full. The fries were perfectly crispy and didn't get soggy when sitting there. The Ice Cream Profiteroles were so good. The French Blue Bordeaux was fantastic. Our server Isaac L was great, always refilling our wine and asking if we needed anything. If I come back to the area I'd have to come here again. If I had to critique anything it'd be the following. The salad could have been a bit smaller and elegantly plated. It was kind of thrown on a small plate and a bit too much. It could of had more walnuts too. I wish the music was French or something more romantic or traditional vs American billboard hits.I wouldn't recommend this place if you are bringing kids. The menu doesn't support having children but I kind of love that. I have two kids so I'm not coming from a no kid mindset.

Came here to say for a besties/couples date night. Was able to get a reservation same day. The service is top notch. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The drinks were delish. I had land of fire and it was amazing. So good we all got one. Or two. For starters we had tuna ceviche, so fresh. Amazing. We also had veal carpaccio which was quite tasty. For dinner I had salmon. I requested medium but it was raw. Raw raw. And whatever white sauce it came with was tasteless. The salmon was good as a leftover after I cooked it more. Side of roasted sweet potatoes were great. My bf had the ribeye which he enjoyed and it stole a bite. It was so good. Cooked perfectly. Salted perfectly My friend and her bf shared the porterhouse which other than being overcooked was beyond amazing. We also got special soufflé potatoes which were recommended. Not what any of us expected. They are not soufflé but poofed French fries. They were ok but not right with the steaks. Prime beef burger was huge and tasty per one friend and my other friend had lobster tacos which she said were good. For dessert we had crème brûlée. Basic but goodExpensive but I'd go back

It was ok this restaurant was recommended by a friend. The service was good but just know it's difficult to communicate with staff if you speak English. I found the place to be really expensive for a shopping center kind of restaurant. I wouldn't run back.
Visit Restaurant Page"We really liked the food here! Staff was friendly and food was fresh and tasty. The place itself was fine. Nothing too "trendy" or out of this world but it was clean and food made up for all that. We would recommend."
"Excellent ambience, food, and service. My husband and I went for dinner on Valentine's Day and had a wonderful experience. We were seated outside with a nice view of the golf course. We ordered a bottle of champagne and the Tomahawk steak for 2 (it's more than enough!) with a side. The service was friendly and the staff made recommendations and were attentive with our drinks. I'd love to come back!"
"I was looking for a restaurant nearby the area I was at and found Wet. It looked like a great spot to grab dinner and to enjoy the ambiance. I was here on a weeknight so unfortunately they didn't have any cool acrobat performers but the food and service was still top notch. When we got to the restaurant, the hostess asked if we had reservations. We thought we were about to be turned away but we said no and she was able to seat us. I thought their drink menu was hilarious. It definitely played into their restaurant name. I went for their seafood tower and did not regret it all. There is one item on here that my friend and I could not get enough of! I wasn't in the budget that night but I would definitely want to come back and try their wagyu cuts."
"TEN STARS!!!!! My husband and I are big foodies and this was one of the best meals of our entire lives and we have eaten all over the world. Everything was perfect! We ate here for our fifteenth wedding anniversary while vacationing here in Miami. You enter the condo building, sign in at the front desk and head upstairs to the black double doors. We had Saratoga sparkling and still water in our own bottles followed by warm bread and an amazing garlic butter spread. My husband had the mussels as his appetizer and I had the Blue cheese croquettes which I sent my compliments to the chef because these with the black fig marmalade was absolutely divine. My husband ordered the catch of the day which was Mahi Mahi and he said it was great! I had the chicken and veggies. For dessert we had crème brûlée and affogato which just so happen to be my two favorite desserts. Definitely a great place for fine dining!"
"Wow! Wow! Wow! An absolutely amazing find!Located across from the Citadel in the Little Haiti/Little River area, you could miss it if you are not looking. The dining room is small and intimate which I really like. Great for date night! The service was top notch. I mean not the typical "Miami service" you get on the day to day at places around. Our server Euri was super attentive and made great recommendations based on our preferences in food and wine!I cannot forget the wine! A absolutely great selection for any wine enthusiast! You will definitely find something that suits your palette. We started with the empanadas and blood sausages served with chimichurri and criolla sauces. Fantastic! It a party in your mouth. I couldn't get enough. I even took home extra sauces because I needed to.My wife had an amazing cooked flap steak and I enjoyed the rib eye. Super good, cooked perfectly. I cannot wait to go back!"
"I came here this last Sunday to continue a friend's birthday celebration. The outdoor tables were perfect after a day in the beach, plus as a bonus we got to enjoy some jazz music being played across the street at the city park (though I'm not sure if this was directly related or the restaurant.)We both wanted something light, and their flatbreads and caprese salad hit the spot! The salad had a creamy ball of mozzarella, fresh greens and most originally - grapes! My flatbread was more like a vegetarian pizza with a little drizzle of marinara, shredded cheese and sliced plum tomatoes. They didn't have prosciutto, just regular ham. First world problems, I know, but as a foodie...Since it was my friend's birthday, our waiter brought out both yummy caramel flan (loved that it was served with coffee grounds and chocolate. The flan was creamy and not overly dense. They also brought biscotti with "Happy Birthday " written in chocolate for a nice touch! As far as drinks, the moscato I enjoyed was a great wrap to the weekend."
"Grazianos is consistently good. I've never had a bad experience here. The ambiance is great for date nights or celebration of all types. The quality of meat is always on point. I'm a creature of habit so I always get the sweet bread, and the lamb chops, but I also will add steak to the mix and we share it all. Service is always great. Very friendly and they always deliver consistent, knowledgeable service."
"Great place! The place is very nice ambience and huge area. Great for parties. They also had live music which was very nice and entertaining. Food was delicious and fresh. Came around with all different types of fresh meat every few minutes. The service was very good and they were very accommodating to anything extra we needed. Can't wait to come back"
"Amazing dining experience on a Saturday night! This is the first time I come to this Baires location since they were on Lincoln Road before, and let me say, wow! What an upgrade! They have indoor and outdoor seating, as soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a very nice host, who walks you to your table. The staff are very nice, attentive and on top of everything...bringing bread to the table, drinks, and changing out your plates for new ones etc. almost like they are machines lol! It's great though, love the attentiveness. They also had a duo playing live music, it was so lovely and they played great music. The food:We ordered...Tuna TartarePear Salad16 oz Ribeye Mashed potatosBlood sausageRegular SausagePanqueques for dessert Spicy MargaritaMargaritaEverything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing!!! So fresh and delicious. The drinks were good. They have a great menu list with a variety of cocktails. Our waiter Fernando (I think that'shis name) was amazing and attentive as well. Very polite, personable, knowledgeable and made our dining experience that much better!I will definitely come back to try out other food on the menu!"
"Very good Steak and customer service. Loved everything about my meal. Couldn't decide on a evening drink and she allowed a sampling, what more could you ask for? Lol. Decided on Barkan-Chardonnay. Sizzling steak plates and wonderful oyster mushrooms. Great pita bread and condiments. Can't complain one bit. Beautiful typical steak house white tables. Enjoyed myself, thank you!"
"The service was great and the food was spectacular. Their rolls are to die for no joke. I had their New York strip and it was excellent. What makes this place great was the prices were all very reasonable for the proportion of the food. If you're hungry for a nice steak while trying to stay in budget then I highly suggest don Domingo."
"My first meal out for 2024! At first, I was getting ready to send an edit to yelp that the restaurant had too many a's in their name. But seeing their outside tables in the blue and white of the Argentinian flag along with the posters I'm figuring the name is based on the battle cry of the 'Albiceleste'. Located in the North Beach spot of the old "Vacas Gordas" and its adjacent city parking lot, I lucked out with finding a free parking spot. From what I gather, they recently opened under the new concept. My waiter explained to me that besides the classic parilla they also have a Josper oven and remodeled the interior to place the bar with the eventual plan to up their cocktail game. When I arrived around 8, I was one of only two or three other people since it was around closing time. The menu is a la carte, so even with protein dishes the sides are separately. There's also an 18% automatic tip.I started with two complementary rolls with an herbed butter that had a pleasantly sharp taste. Since there was a little bit of a wait to my courses, they did offer extra bread but I don't want to torture myself at the gym too hard. My rotisserie chicken with a yummy citrus tang came next. This was a very meaty and filling course, rounded out with sides of Provençal style fries (garlicky, crispy and not overly greasy). A roasted sweet potato garnished with chives and natural sweetness closed out my dinner. I made sure to save space for their flan, which was nice and jiggly. There are a few Italian dishes and classic empanada that I would like to come back and try. Here's looking forward to seeing them grow."
"Waggy bar is absolutely amazing if you want to get some steaks and perhaps some wine. Got here on an afternoon and were the first to be seated. Right after we got there a large group of about 12 people came in to have dinner. It was packed in an hour or so.Lots of space inside and outdoor dining available. We were immediately greeted and sat down in the corner which I love. They offered us a glass of wine each. I chose their house red wine. It was delicious. We started off with the Wagyu beef carpaccio. Honestly, I would get this for a lunch meal. It was awesome. I love the fresh arugula that came with the WAGYU. It tasted so good with the dressing. I will definitely order this again. We then went for the bone marrow. The flavors were on point, but I wasn't too crazy about the texture.I finally got to try Japanese Wagyu beef here and was not disappointed. It's literally butter in your mouth. So good. My husband went for the Denver steak and his was also so delicious. I want to go back for the lamb burger. I'm sure it would be cooked to perfection. I'll also go back for their rib eye."
"I've never met a Graziano's that I didn't like, so imagine my excitement when I discovered there was a new one in the Lifetime building where my beloved Trader Joe's is!It's got all the makings of the perfect Graziano's market- specialty Argentinian goods for you to take home and cook, as well as fresh meats and prepared foods. They e also got a nice wine selection. Onto the bakery, they're serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner. I opted for an omelette and I loved that you could get a half order for under $10. The half order was huge and I could barely finish it.Service was super friendly, and similar to the rest of Graziano's markets. You order, get a buzzer, and they bring you the food. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Have no fear of outdoor seating in the summer, as it is part of a covered patio from the building. The perfect fuel before a Trader Joe's trip!"
"What a cute new spot. A friend that lives in the area recommended it. I got the special of the day empanada which was the spicy filet mignon. I didn't taste any spice, but it was very oily. The meat didn't feel like filet mignon but then again, it's such a small amount of meat that how can anyone really tell. Also had the handcut beef with chimichurry empanada and that was very good. The bread they brought to the table I wasn't a fan of. The texture was spongy and the spread had no flavor in my opinion. It was on the sweet side. The duck confit was delish, loved every bite. The only thing I would say is that I wish it would've been warmer. When it arrived to the table it was room temperature and I enjoy my food warm.My friend had the empanada with Prosciutto and the pasta with meat which she loves, since she is a regular.Service was pretty good, they come and fill your water cup very often and are pretty attentive. Only thing I would say is that they removed the tablet that had the sauces for the empanadas without asking if we were done with them and I was not finished so that was a drawback. But besides that, I think it's a great place to check out."
"Certainly, here's a revised review:I had the pleasure of dining at Fuegos Del Sur in Kendall, and I must say, the experience was outstanding. The food was not only delicious but also truly authentic, which was particularly meaningful for me as I'm half Argentinean. The service provided by Maye was exceptional, and I can confidently say that she went above and beyond on both of my visits. Her warm personality and wonderful recommendations added a special touch to our dining experience. What made it even more memorable was that we were celebrating both my birthday and my daughter's. The entire staff at Fuegos Del Sur is welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious food and exceptional service. You will love the food and the sangria! Our family loves this place."
"If there was one place that Conejo Malo's anthem "Monaco" would be the definition of.. one place where if you look up club restaurant in Merriam Webster's, Papi Steak would be it! Yes, it may not be the place when you want a regular churrasco. However, if you want to celebrate a promotion, a birthday or just a night out with friends, this would be a great spot. I came this past Sunday with a group of friends for Miami spice and we had a good time. For one, I appreciate it, how our server Benoit, again, even though was Miami spice, went ahead and added a candle on the dessert of the birthday girl. Our other waitress was able to skillfully balance tray of drinks and still video us for the social medias. For that level of attention , it does deserve five stars. We ordered from the Miami Spice menu but with add-ons and sides. Our server stated that if someone from the table ordered Miami Spice everyone had too, just FYI. My dinner started with the latke appetizer. The savoriness of the light breading mixed nicely with the sweet apple sauce and whipped Creme. As far as my main, I selected the churrasco aka the Wagyu Skirt Steak add-on. Served with chimicurri, juicy & flavorful medium well it is very much worth the add on.Side note for me, I enjoyed a bite of the carpaccio a friend ordered. For someone who barely goes below medium, this was life changing. The taste of the meat blended with notes of citrus was perfect.Side dishes were a la carte and we shared between the truffleMac & cheese, corn, mashed potatoes and spinach. My favorites were the Mac & cheese as well as the corn. The chocolate profiterole dessert was a yummy sweet closing. Our group decided to add the wine pairing. Of those I loved the perfectly dry Malbec with my steak and dessert moscato."
"We brought the family here based on one of my daughters reccomendation. The place is actually really large and we were seated in the side room, since this is likely one of the busiest weeks of the year for them. Waitress came rather quickly and was very attentive. We got our menus and had time to decide first for the appetizers, so that our main dishes wont come at the same time as our appetizers. That was the recommendation for this week. I wish I took photos of everything, since all the appetizers we ordered were great. very fresh, tasty and came out rather quickly. We got the Dim Sum, the fried String beans, the hangar appetizer and likely others. We then placed our order and I ordered the full Hangar steak, as did my wife and one of my daughters. The others ordered other steaks and fried rice. When I received my Hangar steak I was dumbfounded. It appeared more like a shish kabob of beef, not a steak. Just a large one. The description did not state it was on a skewer... So we made our displeasure known and the manager was quick to come over and agreed that the description could be misleading about what you are getting and that they were adding descriptions to the newer menus to explain what you are getting. I mentioned that the menu didnt state how large the steak would be or I would have ordered a larger one. This one is only 8oz and I have been known to eat a 26oz. However... As a gesture, the manager offered to give me a second steak on the house!! WOW! The waitress then brought out the second steak. Honestly, it just reinforced their true commitment to serving their customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Great food and great service."
"It should be noted that one reason Toro Toro seems to have such a high overall rating is because many of the 5 star reviews for this restaurant were quite obviously posted following a Yelp sponsored event that was held here (the photos even show everyone wearing name badges), and several attendees reviewed this restaurant rather than the listing for the event itself.I recently came here for dinner with a work colleague; Toro Toro is located toward the rear of the lobby, just inside the main entrance to the Intercontinental Hotel. I'm not sure who makes up their primary clientele, but from my experience, the overwhelming majority of people at the bar that's located adjacent to the entrance of this restaurant are often either staying here or attending functions at this hotel.Toro Toro was a decent restaurant and is a red meat-centric Argentinean-based eatery. For starters we had the grilled octopus and the guacamole chilindron which was guac with small chunks of pork belly and friend plantain chips. Both were quite good. For our main course we shared the Toro Toro Skewer which is basically this restaurant's take on a parrillada or mixed grill, with no actual skewers in sight. We also had a side of truffle fries which was good and the truffle was (thankfully) not overpowering, as well as the fried brussel sprouts which, to me, were way too rich, sweet and salty. The food here was quite good, but I've had better proper Argentinean elsewhere which was more flavorful, for less $$. If in the mood for steak, I've been to higher-end steakhouses where I've also enjoyed better meals, again for less. Service here was excellent all night from both our server and the bus staff, and the 2 managers who were working throughout our meal checked in on us no fewer than 3 times which was appreciated and something one doesn't often experience, especially in Miami."
