"We felt like we were dining in a friend's living room and it was amazing. We had a reunion with friends we met in Spain and were seeking out a tapas spot to bring back the memories. The restaurant is tiny, with one big table and only two or three small tables. I therefore recommend getting reservations in advance if you plan on dining here. The food is a mix of Spanish and Argentinian tapas, and the owner is from Argentina. The menu was very similar to what you would find in Spain though. We ordered one of almost everything and enjoyed every bite. The jamon, manchego, and bread was amazing. As was the pulpo (octopus), calamari, shrimp, tortilla, jamón croquetas, patatas bravas, and salad. We were celebrating our friend's birthday, so when I mentioned it to the owner, he was awesome and brought her out a flan with a candle - so kind. The prices were reasonable and we had a great time talking to the owner for awhile. The restaurant is located just minutes away from the Wynwood neighborhood, which we still took a few-minute Uber to afterwards, as the neighborhood seemed a little sus at night. I'd definitely recommend dinner here!"
"Tasty, authentic Spanish tapas and entrees in a historic looking restaurant! You have the feeling of being transported to another country being in here. Performance stage has live music like flamenco on weekend nights. Service is the weakest point---spotty and not knowledgeable---but if you can work with it, the food is worth a visit.I went for their brunch, to celebrate my birthday, which is typically only offered on Sundays, but the owner was kind enough to have the chef accommodate a request for brunch items on a Saturday. They have bottomless cava-mosas for $35, which we took very full advantage of as the combination of fresh orange juice with the cava helped our party have a great time.A few of us would ask for refills, and our server would take three or four flutes back to the bar to pour the drinks. It became clear that he was not keeping track of whose glass was whose and simply came back and placed glasses in front of us without checking anything. Luckily we all liked each other enough to be able to be comfortable with sharing glasses.I had the Chistorras a la Casuela and Spanish Tortilla which were both tasty. The Chistorras had well seasoned potato cubes, crisped chorizo and a beautifully runny fried egg. The tortilla was hefty with its layers of scalloped potatoes, held together with fluffed egg. I shared one and a half slices with my friends, then asked for the rest of it to take with me. The server took it and never returned with the takeout container.If you can't tell by now, our server was young, distracted, and quite clueless. There was a soccer game on in the restaurant, and we caught him watching the game a few times while we were trying to get his attention for an order. He told me that the owner wanted to give me a surprise, so he wanted to know when our meal was done. Obviously, he didn't get the memo about what a surprise is.However, like I said, the ambience of the restaurant, and its food are worth a try. The owner, William, is an incredibly sweet gentleman whom you should be able to meet since he is at the restaurant almost every day. Hopefully, you'll have a different service experience. You may have a better chance going with a smaller group rather than the large group I had!"
"This restaurant blew me away- it may be the best new restaurant of 2024?! Being from LA, I really missed Japanese food outside of sushi and the flavors here really remind of the flavors from back home. Their prices are also extremely fair for the quality of ingredients. FOOD My must try items are the soft shell crab and any of the pintxos. My favorite were the seared uni salmon and the unagi ankimo. It was also my first time trying snail and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! SERVICE Quick and nice! The owners are around too and I love when the owners are involved with their restaurant. AMBIANCE Casual and a very nicely decorated little corner restaurant. It's not a huge spot. They have several bar seating as well."

Everything was delicious but the sea bass in the lobster sauce was to die for!! I also tasted the Tres Guayaba and I wish that I had ordered that instead of the Coconut Flan, even though the flan was really good too!! Honestly, I've been dreaming of the food ever since and I can't wait to come back!!"

"It should be noted that one reason Toro Toro seems to have such a high overall rating is because many of the 5 star reviews for this restaurant were quite obviously posted following a Yelp sponsored event that was held here (the photos even show everyone wearing name badges), and several attendees reviewed this restaurant rather than the listing for the event itself.I recently came here for dinner with a work colleague; Toro Toro is located toward the rear of the lobby, just inside the main entrance to the Intercontinental Hotel. I'm not sure who makes up their primary clientele, but from my experience, the overwhelming majority of people at the bar that's located adjacent to the entrance of this restaurant are often either staying here or attending functions at this hotel.Toro Toro was a decent restaurant and is a red meat-centric Argentinean-based eatery. For starters we had the grilled octopus and the guacamole chilindron which was guac with small chunks of pork belly and friend plantain chips. Both were quite good. For our main course we shared the Toro Toro Skewer which is basically this restaurant's take on a parrillada or mixed grill, with no actual skewers in sight. We also had a side of truffle fries which was good and the truffle was (thankfully) not overpowering, as well as the fried brussel sprouts which, to me, were way too rich, sweet and salty.The food here was quite good, but I've had better proper Argentinean elsewhere which was more flavorful, for less $$. If in the mood for steak, I've been to higher-end steakhouses where I've also enjoyed better meals, again for less. Service here was excellent all night from both our server and the bus staff, and the 2 managers who were working throughout our meal checked in on us no fewer than 3 times which was appreciated and something one doesn't often experience, especially in Miami."

This is fusion Peruvian place.. but tired the ceviches and the lomo salteado over fries and some rice.. it was good ..they had some interesting sushi but i'll have to try next time i visit The place was packed during lunch time but surprisingly quick. Great little place in Miami Springs

Super Small dining area. A handful of tables inside and then a few high tops/ tables outside. Very casual and service was a bit slow but to be fair only one person working. Had a red sangria, a glass of Tempranillo and empanada sample. The empanadas didn't have that much meat inside but enjoyed the fact that they were BAKED Empanadas! Would be interested to see what their other tapas are but not making not making a giant effort to go back. They probably get lots of local traffic which is great support as it does have lots Spanish variety to offer the community

Went for a brunch and it was nice that set a table for us in the back. The staff was very accommodating and patient.I ordered calamari and of course I forgot to take a photo but it was very good. The sangria was also delish. Everything was good and fresh.We were there for a few hours and they came back often to refill our drinks and such.Definitely come by if you are in the area and like Spanish tapas :)

Solid hole-in-the-wall joint. Mai Sushi Tapas and Bar in Coral Gables is a hidden gem where the sushi is consistently fresh, and the atmosphere is laid-back and casual. It's the kind of place where you can feel comfortable in your jeans, yet still enjoy high-quality sushi without the frills.The sushi here is a standout, with fresh fish and well-prepared rolls that pack a punch in flavor. The spicy tuna roll and dragon roll are crowd favorites, and the nigiri is melt-in-your-mouth good. Aside from sushi, their tapas-style dishes like the crispy rice with spicy tuna offer a nice twist and are perfect for sharing.The service is friendly and efficient, and even though the space is on the smaller side, it adds to the cozy, neighborhood feel. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and if you're looking for a no-fuss spot with solid sushi, Mai Sushi is a great pick.

What an amazing restaurant!!! I came here to celebrate a baptism and first bday and it was the best venue!! The food is AMAZING!! I had a pasta with pink sauce and prosciutto. My husband had the churrasco which also came with pasta. Cooked to perfection. The staff was the nicest I've seen in a while. Great service. My little one got burned with the soup and was crying like crazy and the waiters all came outside to check up on him, brought him milk, put an oil remedy on him. They were soooo sweet. Honestly what a great experience. I will be coming back here and recommending to all my friends!!

I recently dined at La Vida Misma, and it was a culinary delight from start to finish. What truly stole the show were the incredible seafood pasta and bolognese salmon pasta dishes.The seafood pasta was a revelation. A medley of fresh shrimp, mussels, and calamari nestled in a rich tomato and saffron-infused sauce. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. It was a seafood lover's dream.The bolognese salmon pasta was equally impressive. The salmon was expertly cooked, flaking apart with a fork, and the creamy bolognese sauce had just the right balance of flavors. The addition of fresh herbs and grated Parmesan cheese elevated the dish to another level.If you're looking for a restaurant that combines Spanish flair with exquisite pasta dishes, this place is a must-visit. It's a culinary journey you won't soon forget.

"This is my second time here and food has been consistently delicious, flavorful and great quality. Staff is just delightful from the minute you step into this popular Hialeah restaurant. We had to order the Serrano ham and manchego cheese croquettes which are the best croquettes I've had in Miami and even better than Islas Canarias which I never thought could be possible. The sangria is also one of the best in town. I had the octopus, the spicy clams and fried garbanzo beans as well and not one single item left me disappointed. They also have live music from Wednesday to Saturday I believe. I'm not sure if this is owned by Spaniards or not but they without a doubt cook delicious Spanish cuisine. Only thing I didn't like is the parking situation for its limited and not a lot of street parking either but other than that it's a nice little joint."
"Meson Ría de Vigo has been in the Roads area of Miami for a minute; one of the OG Spanish restaurants. When I went Saturday lunchtime there may not be a flamenco dance show or a DJ but it hits the spot for a solid meal. I came by Saturday for lunch while in the area.I started with a hearty bowl of lentil soup with potato pieces and parsley, as a yummy lead-in to my main course of grilled chicken with steamed veggies and boiled potato slices. The veggie sides tasted really fresh, and the chicken a nice portion size for lunch after the gym. The winner was my cheat - peras al Porto. This was a huge pear, fluffy on the inside and baked in a port wine reduction. It was very much worth the calories!"
"My sister is a regular at Happy Wine Grove so she decided to celebrate my mom's bday here on Saturday evening. We had the BEST time! Our server (& fellow Tico) Moises was wonderful. Honestly, everyone we encountered & everything we ate/drank was fantastic! We started with a red wine on the house then I moved on to a delicious Sancerre while my mom & sister stuck to red. We ordered a few things off the menu to share: - Olives ( all the olives I had were spectacular & briny & spicy! YUM!) - PAN CON TOMATE & MANCHEGO CHEESE BOARD (delicious! never met a pan con tomate i didn't like & this one was excellent! manchego is also one of my favourite cheeses so great dish!)- BACON WRAPPED DATES (i don't eat pork but mom & sis loved it)- MANCHEGO CROQUETAS (also on the house & also delicious! perfectly balanced & not at all greasy. Crispy, golden outside, delicious creamy melty cheese on inside. loved the accompanying garlic aioli too!)- PATATAS BRAVAS (so good! again, not greasy at all & the spicy tomato sauce & garlic aioli were the perfect compliments to the piping hot potatoes)- SHRIMP AL AJILLO (super delicious & flavourful!) They also brought out an incredible chocolate brownie cake slice with ice cream for my mom's bday. Perfect way to end an already exceptional meal! Must come back soon for the MUSHROOM RISOTTO which I hear is fantastic! love this spot & can't wait for next time."

If you want to feel like you are in Spain again this is the place to be. My fisnce has been longing for some of the best food from Barcelona and we found it here!Claudio was our waiter and he was absolutely fantastic!! Also Damian was a great host and made my sister's birthday dinner very pleasant.I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want to be seated on the patio and specially during the weekends. We had to wait for 40-45 minutes for the next table to be available. But, it was worth the wait.Their menu includes appetizers, entrées (including a choice of appetizer), desserts and of course drinks.We ordered "Free Range Chicken Milanese" with "Caes-ART Salad Our classic", "Seafood and Chicken Paella" with "Burrata, Salmon & Guacamole Toast", which was an upgraded appetizer with extra fee, and "Argentinian Churrasco" with "Caes-ART Salad Our classic". All our meals were delicious, but I strongly recommend the Argentinian Churrasco and Salmon Toast.For the dessert and of course the birthday cake, we ordered "The Best Chocolate Cake in the World" and shared it as it was a bit heavy after our dinner."
"I really want to rate this restaurant with 4 stars, and darn they have the potential to be a 5. I'll start by saying that the food was absolutely delicious. Let me point out the Pros, the restaurant is clean and the service is outstanding, they have a full bar right at the entrance and the restaurant is towards the back, our waitress was very nice, attentive and helpful with the menu, we ordered Sangria, croquetas, fried calamari, potato salad, pan con tomate, serrano ham and Paella, everything tasted heavenly, the croquetas are huge, portions are hearty and flavorful, authentic Spanish and delicious, also the portions justify the prices. Now for the Cons...located in Downtown Miami, you already know parking and getting there it's kind of a hustle. I was deceived by their advertising and though this was more of a food hall or food stations, but it is not, is just a restaurant. This place has a LOT of potential, if they would add a little corner with live entertainment, or pump up the music, it would change the whole ambiance, the time we spent there, i could barely hear a little of their playlist and they had a good selection of songs, but the volume was so so low we were literally BORED to the core, the restaurant has no windows or no were to look at, it's a little bunker so you have to find your own way of entertainment, we even ran out of conversations, lol, it really needs more than food to make me want to go back again. My biggest throw off was dessert, we ordered the cheesecake or tarta de queso, and it was a sad piece of New York Style cheesecake!...with such great food why even bother and put that crap, sorry for the expression, on the menu, what a way of ruining the whole dinning experience! Everything was going great until dessert time, like it's so easy to make authentic Spanish desserts and why did you decide to put that vive killer on the menu?! Overall experience was good but those little details i mention make up for a lot, i wish somebody from management could read this and take those details in consideration because i really liked their food."
"We came late Sunday night. The restaurant is located in downtown under a residential building. There's street parking and valet parking. As it was our first time coming here, our server Vanesa, gave us great recommendations. We ordered the croquetas de pulpo, and the ceviches Divino, Salmon apaltado and ají amarillo. "1/25/22 Ordered Uber Eats. Had the mixed greens salad and the "side" salmon as a topper.The salad was packaged perfectly, it looked beautiful and tasted delicious. The ginger dressing went well. Loved the Peruvian corn and fresh avocado. Also appreciated that the onions were sliced very thinly so they did not overwhelm the salad. Enjoyed how the individual vegetables were separate so that I could mix them on my own. Each component was very fresh.The salmon was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the meal very much. "Talk about a happening place, I was not expecting this place to be packed when I walked in on a Thursday evening,, but it was and made for an entertaining and lively night. Luckily my friend and I were able to score 2 seats at the bar and order drinks and bites while enjoying the Flamenco performance going on that evening, which I later saw on the menu that from Tuesday to Sunday starting at 7 they have live music. We decided to order The Croquetas con caviar which paired nicely with our glass of Moët. Afterwards I also ordered a glass of Italian red wine they were featuring that night, well balanced just like I like my reds. It was just enough food and drinks to keep us entertained while catching up and enjoying the show. Easy and cool place to meet up and hang out for some hours."
