"Saw this place and it looked nice ordered a couple of beers on tap extremely cold and very good. Ordered charcuterie plate wow it is good but fair warming it is not cheap but it's worth trying"
"Pros: Acurio's restaurants always exceed my expectations. We had a delicious feast, starting with the churros as an appetizer, wow, so original and delightful! I had the beet crab causa and hubby had the seafood pepian. The pepian was the star of the night, reminded me of my grandmas cooking, pure perfection. I also had the chicha sour and hubby had a non alcohol drink, both were good.Cons: you have to valet park, which is always annoying (for me). The parking is $18 with validation, overpriced.I didn't mind the price of the meals, but the drinks were too pricey $19 for a small sour is a bit much.Definitely going back!"

The dining room is small and intimate which I really like. Great for date night! The service was top notch. I mean not the typical "Miami service" you get on the day to day at places around. Our server Euri was super attentive and made great recommendations based on our preferences in food and wine!I cannot forget the wine! A absolutely great selection for any wine enthusiast! You will definitely find something that suits your palette. We started with the empanadas and blood sausages served with chimichurri and criolla sauces. Fantastic! It a party in your mouth. I couldn't get enough. I even took home extra sauces because I needed to.My wife had an amazing cooked flap steak and I enjoyed the rib eye. Super good, cooked perfectly. I cannot wait to go back!"
"Five star food, service and ambiance. NIU has Catalan / Spanish tapas with exceptional execution. Hats off to the chef. Food comes out table side incredibly fresh and warm. Some even have finishing touches like the charcoal heating of the oysters, or shrimp flambé. Today's trial of the vegan paella was well executed, for your expectations it's not a typical hearty helping. Overall, while I felt the flavors overwhelmingly good, I did find the portions leaving me wanting more. Luckily you can keep ordering, though keep in mind this is a quality over quantity place. Definitely plan to return and recommend. Service was friendly, interactive, worked as a team and knowledgeable about the menu. They were good about asking on allergies and one request to separate the artichokes from the pork to make it shareable for the party. Thank you for the flexibility and care."
"This was my first time trying this restaurant... and it didn't disappoint. Ordered one of my favorite dishes; a beef empanada. To go together with the empanada, I also ordered their Garbanzo beans with chorizo. It was flavorful and was a good complement with the bread. For the main entree, I went with their Pechuga de pollo, with sautéed vegetables. I loved it because the chicken was very tender. I had a great dining experience and the servers were very friendly. Will recommend this place to anyone who likes a homey experience"
"5 star food 4 star ambience 4 star service. Fantastic food in a funky interior but slightly run down exterior with so so service.5 star food. The star of this show is definitely the food. Empanadas and bacon wrapped dates were both incredible, so we ordered seconds of exactly the same thing.4 star ambience. Inside it has a cool funky vibe that's a lot of fun. Outside feels slightly run down.4 star service. It wasn't full on Miami 'tude but there was a bit of it in the service."
"Loved their happy hour and their decent room of bites ! It's used to be limited but now they are more flexible . I remember when happy hour was on in the pool area then it loved to just the bar ."

I preface this review with that I have been here before and have had a great experience, however this last visit was abysmal: and my last. It was scorching in the place. We asked the owner to lower the temperature several times only to be told there was an issue and that it was already cool. I and others took off our diner jackets. I was part of a large group. We had a set menu, croquettes and paella. The croquettas were actually good. That's it. Full stop. Everything else was revolting. I was given the paella. Burnt to a crisp. It was inedible. The salt content was equal to the Dead Sea. The shrimp was so burnt it should've been sent to a burn unit. The person sitting in front of me had the steak. Same issue with the salt; so much so that he left half of it thinking he may stroke out. Not once were we asked about the food. Copious amounts of food were left on the table. The desert, Tarta De Santiago, was old, dry and no taste of the main ingredient: almonds. The highlight of the meal was the bread and the aforementioned croquettas. The meal came with a flamenco show. The dancers have been there for awhile and are actually a really good troupe. The get a star for the show and one for being a family run business. Fine dining in Miami is having a renaissance. The Gables is one of these epicenters in the culinary scene. Belmont a grand dame, needs an injection of fresh energy. It is going to face strong head winds with the addition of two Spanish themed restaurants on the same block. If it does not change course soon it will flounder like a galleon on the shoals of the competition.

Came here for my birthday dinner on a Friday evening after having this spot on my list for YEARS now. Having traveled all over Peru just a few years ago, Gastón is definitely the pride and joy of their country. We tried a variety of dishes to start, the duck tiradito was superb and the conchitas were incredible and the presentation was pure magic. The octopus was great as well. We also shared the lomo (obviously we have to try the signature dish of Peru) and the achupado was delicious and very rich. We ended up taking half of the lomo and achupado home as we were actually pretty full after having several cocktails along with dinner. The view of the Miami skyline at sunset is amazing and sets the vibe for a romantic night. The service is also top notch as well. Definitely want to come back for their iconic brunch

Amazing service, food and vibe! The pictures speak for itself. The steak was pure perfection as well as the morsilla. The pork was a little too dry for my licking but the flavors were definitely there. If you're looking for good quality beef, impecable service and a laid back family vibe. Then this is the place for you! I look forward to stopping by again

Catalan cuisine, yes please! Everything was delicious from the octopus to the gambas. But here's the thing. We ordered two tapas and the paella. Which is about tapas size too, for 2/3 people max. The two first tapas cameOut in a timely manner. The wait for the paella was incredibly long. I prefer for the dishes to be timed out better and I know that paellas usually take longer but the gap was so long it killed our hunger. Perhaps if we would have ordered more tapas but still I'm taking like over an hour wait. We finished the entire bottle of wine. But once it arrived it was so divine. Just have this in mind when ordering the paella. Wanted a dessert but the time gap ruined it. Service was good. We had to sit outside because we didn't have reservations. Perhaps a reservation before would be good if you want to sit indoors.

Los Gallegos is on my way to work, so I drive by it daily. I finally decided to give them a try and they did not disappoint. Our waiter Ramon was exceptional, he made us feel like we're family. Everything we ordered was tasty and freshly made. Inside was spotless, quiet, and cozy. We will definitely come back more often.

"Mamey Miami is very Miami. Beautiful interior design and decor. Service was top notch by Manny. Hosted super sweet. The appetizers were all delish - tostones, the guava coquette, arepas and sweet plantains with cheese. Mains - Snapper over coconut rice, Waygu burger and hanger steak were all excellent. Desserts were absolute perfection. Each and everyone!"
"We had the privilege to visit Tabanco for their soft opening and let me just tell you this place was nothing short of delicious. This is a new family owned and operated Spanish tapas restaurant. That's exactly what you get when you come in; a family sense of service. When you walk in you can tell all the details that went into making this place look beautiful. My favorite part was the wine wall. Just this beautiful wall with so much antique bottles of wine. It really makes you feel like you've taken a trip to Spain. The food was amazing. Everything we tried was fantastic. My favorite was a potato with shrimp dish they had us try. It really made me want to go back for more. We also tired a cut of ham (I forgot the name) but I swear that just melted in your mouth. The quality of food was so fresh and you can see how the chefs plated every dish with love and admiration. The chefs (also family I might add) are from Spain and come with a few Michelin stars under their belts so you know everything you are about to have here is going to be great. The wine! I can't believe I didn't start with this sooner because I love me some wine! I loved the Cab they served. My husband and I had two cups and I think alone I would have had the whole bottle. If you want to support and family restaurant please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this new gem in Coral Gables."
"My sister is a regular at Happy Wine Grove so she decided to celebrate my mom's bday here on Saturday evening. We had the BEST time! Our server (& fellow Tico) Moises was wonderful. Honestly, everyone we encountered & everything we ate/drank was fantastic! We started with a red wine on the house then I moved on to a delicious Sancerre while my mom & sister stuck to red. We ordered a few things off the menu to share: - Olives ( all the olives I had were spectacular & briny & spicy! YUM!) - PAN CON TOMATE & MANCHEGO CHEESE BOARD (delicious! never met a pan con tomate i didn't like & this one was excellent! manchego is also one of my favourite cheeses so great dish!)- BACON WRAPPED DATES (i don't eat pork but mom & sis loved it)- MANCHEGO CROQUETAS (also on the house & also delicious! perfectly balanced & not at all greasy. Crispy, golden outside, delicious creamy melty cheese on inside. loved the accompanying garlic aioli too!)- PATATAS BRAVAS (so good! again, not greasy at all & the spicy tomato sauce & garlic aioli were the perfect compliments to the piping hot potatoes)- SHRIMP AL AJILLO (super delicious & flavourful!) They also brought out an incredible chocolate brownie cake slice with ice cream for my mom's bday. Perfect way to end an already exceptional meal! Must come back soon for the MUSHROOM RISOTTO which I hear is fantastic! love this spot & can't wait for next time."
"We had a wonderful date night at Barceloneta! I'm surprised by the average reviews because the night we went here, the food felt authentic to the many times we traveled to Mallorca and Barcelona. We have loved the Italian restaurant next door for years, and so happy we finally stopped here to try it out. We will DEFINITELY be back soon."
"This completely unassuming place, that is up for a James Beard, is going to leave you full and happy! Made reservations on a random Miami night and it was so good, we came back the following day. Between both days, we ordered:Buffalo fish wings - 10 out of 10 for sure. Unique idea to use the whole fish - it's meaty and packed with flavor Smoked fish dip - It's light and delicious coupled with their house made chips and pickled onions and peppers - finger-licking goodSweet corn spoon spread - this was pretty meh. Didnt like the texture and the taste fell flat. Tiradito - super fresh, light and paired perfectly with the ripe avocado and the popcorn and hominy added such a different and unexpected touch and flavor. Genius dish!Scallops & pork belly - this was unexpectedly rich with the most perfectly seared scallops, which are my favorites. It has amazing Asian flare with the pok choy and rich soy sauce. Caviar deviled eggs - they were good but nothing to write home about. The following day for brunch, we had the smoked fish dip (yes, again lol). My wife ordered the fish sandwich. Wish I could share if it was good but judging by how she devoured it and I didn't even get to sniff it, I would say it was damn good, lol. I ordered a sort of crab french toast. Now hear me out - it was BANGIN'! I wasnt sure what to expect but the sweetness of the bread caught me off guard and the richness of the béchamel sauce was INSANE. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what the name of the dish is and even worse, cannot find it listed on the brunch menu. I promise, however, it is there, and it is definitely enough of a portion to share with two people.Beyond the food being absolutely delicious this place is so chill and vibe. Is Poppin and the staff seems really chill and down to earth. You arent rushed by any means so it's a great place to graze over multiple dishes and chat with your friends and family. All in all, a spot I definitely plan to return to again, and again when I am in Miami Beach. Enjoy!"
"The owner of an old favorite, Bar Meli, took her talents north to Miami Shores, and here is where I was reacquainted during a networking dinner this past Monday. No Reservations is tucked away in a strip mall on Biscayne Blvd,. In what turns out was the location of an old favorite French bistro. Parking can take some work, as it is shared by the various businesses in the plaza, and one of the businesses has reserved spots for only its patrons. Our group was attended by Liza (the owner) in addition to her team. The menu for the event was a tasty of passed bites, with a variety of land and sea dishes. As it were, they were prepared cleanly enough that even though I was the only one at my table not eating the seafood & shellfish courses I was not triggered. The space itself is dimly lit, with tasteful art and neon and the vibe great for either a business networker or a date night. My favorite of the passed bites included their juicy and flavorful skirt steak (aka churrasco), the spicy hummus dip and the tangy & tasty Greek salad. I'd definitely like to stop by and try some more of their menu items."
"WOW No wonder it is ranked as NYTimes best places to eat and also won Diner's Choice. Spanish style tapas with a beautiful dining room and outdoor space. You feel as though you are not sitting in Miami. Our server was incredible. She was so sweet and attentive as well as helpful on recommendations. They have a fabulous cocktail menu, wine menu but do offer a full service bar. We were doing an early dinner as we had scheduled appetizers later and went with the Arroces; lobster and seafood rice. (Min 2 people) it was plenty filling and delicious. Highly recommend trying this place and although there is not a bad seat in the house. Always sit outside when you can. Cheers!"
"5 stars all around for Barcelona Wine Bar! To start, if you're trying to disconnect from the typical Miami scene, without breaking the bank THIS is the spot to go to. It's like a less crowded, more functional Lagniappe with a Spanish twist. Located in the heart of Wynwood -- this place is nothing like any other spot in the area. It has this laid back vibe, that's perfect for literally any occasion you can think of. Date nights, group hangouts, special occasions (where you don't want your friends to splurge), corporate events, post work happy hour, any thing you can think of this spot checks off all the boxes. I came here Friday night and have already come back 2 times since. The combination between the price of the food to the taste/flavor is just perfect. On the first night we ordered a feast of tapas + a total of 4 vinos and the tab was under $100. The entire team is so sweet and welcoming -- 2 managers came up to us asking how everything was going and the bar tender was great and patient with our indecisiveness. Some menu items that really stood out to me were the following: - the marinated olives: if you're an olive lover, it's a must! - pan con tomate: just as good as the ones I've had in Spain - seafood paella: delicious, flavorful and very good portion size - patatas bravas: my favorite thing ever! Trust me, when I say this is the spot!"
"We had a last minute restaurant change for a friend's birthday dinner and Xixon was able to accommodate our large party on a Saturday night! We were seated upstairs where we had the area to ourselves which was nice! The staff was super friendly and Carlos was our waiter! He was incredibly attentive and had great recommendations. We ordered two appetizers to share and I really enjoyed the beef cheeks! It was so tender and delicious! As my main entree I ordered the beef tenderloin rare. The tenderloin was okay but I think it was missing some salt! Overall I had a great experience and would come back!"
"Definitely one of the top 3 Spanish restaurants in Miami! We only had three starters - croquetas, tabla de jamón ibérico y manchego, and the octopus (pulpo a la plancha) and everything was exquisite! The jamón just melts in your mouth, the pulpo was perfectly done, and the croquetas were 100% legit. Server was very attentive and gave good recommendations. The place is quite tiny and the patrons seem to know good Spanish food when they have it!"
"This is probably one of my favorite whole in the wall places I have ever been to. I love a place that is simple, reasonably priced and delicious. I came on a weekday around 6 pm. It was really easy for me to find street partking but once you get close you will see parking on both sides of the road. Make sure that you pay for it with the app to avoid a ticket. This is a place where you can only order once so you have to make sure that you are ordering enough food. My picks were the dumplings fried, the spring rolls, theduck salad, the Tom Kah soup, and the pad thai. EVERYTHING was great! I loved the duck salad the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. I also loved the soup it was very flavorful. We also ordered the passionfruit sake and it was delicious. Overall great place for a delicious meal that is not going to break the bank."
"Looking at the massive amount of tasty baked goods behind the counter, you'd think this was a typical grab-and-go bakery. But it seemed most patrons were sitting down with a coffee and enjoying a delicious pastry. If you are getting a bunch of pastries to go, you have to order from a waitress instead of at the counter, which is kinda weird. But so worth it since everything is delicious.Ham & Cheese Pie: This was pretty novel to me, since I haven't had anything like it before. It's definitely a pie, with golden flaky dough on top and a similar crust on bottom. But the filling is alternating layers of ham and cheese (provolone?) and a few thinly sliced tomatoes. Heat it up a little so it's melty and it's absolutely delicious! Way better than a boring old ham & cheese sandwich.Patato Tortilla: A pretty tasty tortilla where the soft potatoes and onions were perfectly in balance with the binding egg. Neither dominated the other. The little side salad of lettuce and carrot shreds actually complemented this well.Árabe Empanada: This actually does remind me of some Lebanese meat pies. Except this is meatier. And the spices add a very nice kick. Probably my favorite empanada here.Ham & Cheese Empanada: About what you'd expect, ham and a bunch of cheese. Best when warm and the cheese is melty. Tasty, but nowhere near the caliber of the ham & cheese pie.Argentina Empanada: Large chunks of marinated shredded beef. Definitely the most substantial of the empanadas. This could be a meal by itself!La Española Empanada: Kinda like the árabe, but without all the spices. It was ok.Flan: I like that they gave me a lot of that brown flan juice. The flan itself was great, jiggly and eggy. But it was even better floating in a spoonful of the sweet syrup. Also, for good measure, they added a dollop of dulce de leche. That also worked well with the flan."
"Was in Brickell visiting a friend and wanted to grab something to eat, so of course I go to my trusty Yelp for recommendations. This place popped up with 5 stars so I had to check it out.First of all, hello! This place is sooooo cute!! My friend and I felt transported to somewhere, definitely not Miami, and it was nice to feel like we were on vacation for a little while. This place is perfect for a romantic date or for anything really. The food was great, it's tapas style and meant for sharing but portions are good enough for two and very reasonably priced. Especially because the menu is so special and creative. We shared the octopus with avocado as well as the pasta dish with pear, cheese and passion fruit cream. So so good!Definitely a new fave in this part of town."
"My family and I went to celebrate our parents anniversary and we were seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She brought us water while we looked at the menu. The ambiance was very energetic! We all had some wine and shared the crouquetas de bacalao and ham. We also shared the shrimp scampi, and garbanzos fritos. All were good. For my entree, I shared the seafood paella and it was good. The best part of this restaurant is that they have live music and a Flamenco show. It was wonderful! I'd definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner."
"Yeah, let's just update my review with another 5 star score. I love consistency, it's just arepas, but they are always on point, and a good size for the price. Ive had late night arepas, lunch, take out, no exceptions, always delicious.. On my recent visit this week i had a chicken arepa & tequenos :)"
"Juneteenth 2023I had the day off from work as it is a holiday. Love Coconut Grove and came here with a friend to walk around and to get lunch. When we finally found a place to park on the street it was in front of this store. Once inside I realized that it was just featured in a Local design magazine and I ripped out the page as I wanted to visit their location closest to me at the Aventura Mall. Once inside it carries the most unusual of home decor items, gifts as well as clothes and jewelry. There was entire section of finds from Greece. As well as beautiful jewelry. Right out front they have a cafe as well so something for everyone. Definitely a must see stop on your next visit to Coconut Grove."
"Love this place, the food was great...but the bar was incredible!! The bartender Jalel prepared a special drink and set the vibe! Great overall!"
"This place is adorable!! Came in for a couples date night and we had such a great time! The staff is absolutely wonderful and and made such amazing wine recommendations, we ended up having a bottle of wine that was absolutely delicious! The staff is also so knowledgeable and attentive, I was so impressed with our service! Decor wise, this place is so intimate while also being very inviting! Plenty of tables for being a smaller spot and they even have back couches and bar seating! Very cute interior for pictures and a huge chalk board filled with all the activity they have going on! Lastly the food and wine! Like I said the bottle we were recommended was absolutely delicious and their menu has plenty of price points to meet everyone's budget! Food wise we had a charcuterie board and some meatballs which were both delicious! The board was so aesthetically presented, perfect for pictures!! To end a great night we devoured their bread pudding! A full 5 stars for this little hidden gem!"
"Cute little rooftop bar in a Little Havana neighborhood. Fun vibe, nice views, and great mixology drinks. They have fun little snacks too. I tried some sort of Cuban spring roll and Caprese salad. I went on a Sunday right after a Marlins game but want to come back at night on the weekend!"
