"We stopped by the other day for a quick lunch. It was pretty busy, but they bring your order quickly. We sat at our favorite table in the back. I love looking at all the artifacts on the wall. The service was friendly and quick. The food, carne con queso y coleslaw, was very good. We were able to park in front of Yambo."
"If you're in the area and craving seafood, I'd suggest this family style/low key restaurant, Don Camarón. It is about 30-40 mins from me but we don't mind the drive and have visited several times through the years, including today. No reservations required, even with big parties like my family and I, and service is usually very good. Things I recommend:-shrimp ceviche (fish one doesn't always have a lot of flavor) -whole fried snapper-breaded snapper fillet-fish fingers for kids-shrimp in creole or garlic sauce or a la francaise -salmon with shrimp-fried fish bowl & shrimp bowl -fish sandwich For sides we usually do white rice, yellow rice, fries, maduros or tostones. These I have not found enjoyable and no longer order them. -fish soup (not too much flavor)-fried snapper fillet (figured it would be better than breaded, but I was wrong)Desserts:I've had the 3 leches, flan and crème brûlée and they've always been good. Finish off with a colada :)"
Charbroiled marinated beef steak. Includes 2 sides and coleslaw.

"The Cordero on Saturday special is absolutely sumptuous. The portion is huge. The service is second to none. Pan con bistec, yuca frita and their fries are a work of art! Hard to see from the front that it's a restaurant. Around back they have many outdoor tables. Inside is cool, clean and cheerful. Don't miss it, in my opinion it's the best Cuban Restaurant in Miami!"
"Do you want an alternative to the local "Latin" eating establishment in southern Dade this is the place. Don't expect fancy decorations or over the top service just good old fashioned Cuban food. And when I say old fashion I mean like my dad made for us and his clients back in the day. To call it a simple plate is not the proper adjective more like a platter. Yes when you order a plate and take half of it home it's a platter. The wife had the Chicarron de Cerdo, think of deep fried pork belly with rice black beans and sweet plantains. All it needed was some mojo on the the side (a simple suggestion) and you have a home run. I had the breaded chicken steak that looked like a blanket. Very tender and juicy. And if you get an appetizer make sure you have at least 4 people or be prepared to take some home. Great fast food for the family. Take out looks like a must but great little hole in the wall with fantastic food."
"Imagine your mom being an amazing cook. You come home for lunch and you have a delicious plate of Sesame Seared Tuna on Soba Noodles a side salad and freshly made iced tea. Guess what? You can have a homemade meal prepared to perfection every day at Tania's Table. Tania entertains guests in her small, homey setting. Grab a table or sit at the bar and chat with the wonderfully welcoming staff. They have a different menu every day so you'll never get tired of the same food and you'll be forced to try one of their newer ensembles. If you're a dessert lover... have the Dulce de Leche Tower... it towers above all others. I swear.Check out their site. They also cater. They also make challah on Fridays. They also have Kosher meat, so they have it all... bon apetit!"
"Ordered beef soup medium size and it was delicious! The restaurant definitely doesn't skimp out on the beef, the soup had huge chunks of beef and the meat was really tender. I loved the vegetables and broth too. For less than $10, this was an amazing dish! The spicy pickled vegetables were good too and looked fresh. The pupusa with cheese and chicharones was delicious. Everything was delicious! Server was Carlos and he was attentive, friendly, and professional. Will definitely come back again!"
"I have been to the other Floridita locations but first time at this one. We were seated promptly. The restaurant had updated decor. My husband and I ordered beers to start and they were ice cold. We started with the bacalao croquettes and the steamed mussels. The croquettes were yummy. The muscles were OK. They were a little bland. for our main, we did the combo meal that starts off with the soup. I had to check in my husband had the fish we both enjoyed. For our the chicken breast and my husband had fried fish chunks. Both portions seem pretty small in comparison to prior visits. The food was OK. The service was OK. It could've been better."
"Guys, do not sleep on this restaurant just because it is tucked next to a hotel next to the Miami airport. The too long didn't read version here is that this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the customer service is amazing.I had a flight canceled and was put up by the airline in the hotel, which is one that I had not heard of before but I'm so glad that I ended up here. Feeling quite peckish, but not having the energy to go out and look for food, I decided to just eat dinner at the hotel restaurant and hope for the best, however, I am so glad that I did. I was immediately sat in a gorgeous dining room area that was incredibly clean and modern. The menu was expensive with both hot entrées that felt elevated along with other handheld items for those who may not be up for a full course meal. For my appetizer, I started with the pork belly chicharron which was grilled to perfection. For my entrée, I got the risotto with a side piece of salmon and a wedge salad, both of which were absolutely delicious. The risotto had barley in it and was extra creamy, but didn't feel heavy while the side piece of salmon was cooked perfection. The wedge salad was comprised of such a beautiful bowl of buttery, delicious leaves, generous pieces of prosciutto, and the most divine salad dressing I've ever had in my life talk with some spicy goodness that just rocked my world and candidly is probably going to be the most memorable wedge salad that I'm going to have in a long time. My partner had a Caesar salad with a burger that was reminiscent of a burger, get growing up with one of the fattest patties I've ever seen in my life that tasted like something you get at a backyard barbecue that fills you up and leaves you feeling so good. From start to finish the customer service was absolutely impeccable and so professional. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant I look forward to coming back here and dining here again in the future on purpose, and would highly recommend anyone to have a nice meal here whether you are passing through or local. A perfect place to pass the evening, 14/10."
"This is an amazing hidden gem in little Havana! They serve Central American food and I loved everything I tried. The staff is super friendly and the prices are AMAZING. You have to try the pupusas and the steak for sure. There's a small parking lot for the strip mall right in front too. I'd definitely come back!"

In the search of delicious Nicaraguan cuisine I found this restaurant. I ordered online and the whole experience was wonderful. I ordered the Carne Asada, the nacatamal and sodas.I was impressed by the carne Asada dish, it was served with a generous amount of gallo pinto (rice&beans), plantains and fried cheese. All the sides complemented my dish very well and the food was amazing. The meat was tender and tasty. The packaging was excellent and everything arrived hot and perfect. I was wowed by the presentation, flavor, and also the fantastic food selection. I highly recommend this restaurant and also the nacatamal that was also SUPERdelicious!!! Fenomenal service provided for an online order.

I hadn't been here in awhile after a few bad experiences with their delivery but I recently went back & it was VERY good! Food was great & so was the service. I had the SALMONCILANTRO WITH GRILLED SHRIMP & my dad had the CEVICHE DE CAMARON. For dessert, we split the BAHAMA MAMA (coconut rum tres leches). Everything was fresh, flavorful & absolutely delicious. Will remove from my blacklist & will def be back :)

Good Cuban restaurant in West Miami. I've been coming here for years, the staff is always friendly and they keep it clean. They have all the traditional Cuban meals, all of them tasty. Next door is the bakery where you can get all your sweet tooth cravings. I will admit they have gone up in prices over the years, but with inflation and rising costs I understand. They're not as well known as the other Cuban restaurants on Calle Ocho, but you should definitely give them a try.

Our time trying Cuban food other than at our friends house. The Croqueta Preparada w fries and Pan con Lechon w fries were both super yummy and came in big portions. The girls in the store were very nice and we were even offered their cilantro sauce for the fries when I asked for more mayo. That sauce was amazing. The reason I left 4 instead 5 of stars is the fries with both sandwiches were pretty cold (it's an easy fix for the future) and the shredded pork on the pan con lechon was just a tad salty. I realize the other sandwich had the same meat, but with ham, cheese, croquetas, mustard and pickels it was not noticeable. We definitely would come and eat here again.....

This place has a new chef for over several years and she is amazing!!! Very good food there!! My review today is for their "challah" bread for Shabbat.... It is of the best I've had.... Be wary... it is dense and heavy! If you prefer a soft fluffy challah, this is NOT the place for you. This bread has a notch very subtle of sweetness, but not to the point of being overwhelming. I simply love it!As for their Nutella Challah! Well this is sin at its best. So be careful! All in all we buy here ALL THE TIME!!!!! Cheers and Shabbat Shalom who ever buys for that occasion... oh... forgot to tell you, you have to reserve at least the day before... if not, till next week....

Had a huge pupusa craving, and our local Miami friend suggested that we all go here!PARKING:A small lot with free parkingWHAT I ORDERED:* Baleada* Tamal de elote* Pupusas de frijol* La Picadita* Agua de tamarindo* MojitoFOOD + DRINKS: The pupusas and tamal came out first, and were a great way to start off the meal! The tamal was tender went especially well with the crema, and the pupusas were pretty solid. The curtido was really good here - nice and tangy. La picadita was a nice way for us to sample a whole bunch of Salvadoran bites that we were craving as a lighter break between the other dishes - the tortillas and tostones especially. But the star of the show was the steak obviously! Very well seasoned and juicy. The baleada came out last and was also delicious with tons of fresh avocado. I do wish we got the one with egg, but maybe next time. The aguas were pretty standard, but great to wash down the food. The mojito was okay, but a little too sweet.SERVICE:Super friendly service and food came out fairly fast.VIBES:Spacious and lots of seating - great for catching up with friends or family.BOTTOM LINE:Pretty solid place to get your Salvadoran food fix - hope to come back sometime.

"We needed a little Sunday pick-me-up and decided to swing by to give this place a try. We were craving a light lunch so we opted for the choritos a la chalaca and the ceviche mixto. The ceviche was delicious, fresh, and a good size. I really enjoyed the flavor, it was very lemony. The choritos were also good but I think it was missing a little onion. We also ordered a passion fruit juice that was so fresh and delicious as well. While we were enjoying our meal, we noticed plates that were being brought out, they were huge! The portions on some of the hot plates that we saw were plenty to share and definitely made us want to swing by this place again. There is also parking around back in a garage with an entrance to the restaurant from the back. Make sure to call ahead if you are with a large group since this restaurant is smaller in size."
"Great fritanga! We've been going to Yambo for years when a friend told us to try Pinolandia. We had to give it a try!Pinolandia has a couple locations and we tried the one in the Riverside area! There is plenty of street parking but beware the street in front of it get busy! Inside there's the food bar which you order from then there's a room to the right with plenty of seating if you decide to eat there. There is also a little market inside with yummy drinks, snacks and food. We ordered the carne asada, gallo pinto, queso frito and platano. We also ordered a side order of chicharron. The chicharron was a little dry but the portion was big! The food was great. Once portion is enough to share. I also really like the vinegar sauce we got, it's very tasty!Highly recommend Pinolandia for an affordable meal with large portions! Don't forget to try a juice at the market inside!"
"IMO one of the best fritangas I've had, the food here is consistently good. My usual go-to is the carne asada, gallo pinto, sweet plantains, and of course the fried cheese which is better than any other place I've been to hands down. One word of warning for anyone looking for a sit down meal, this place is really meant for take out, so keep that in mind when coming here."
"Friendly service at the counter and a cute cafe near the mall. I loved having access to the plant based options and a fair number of items were gluten free. I was disappointed at the bite-sized empanadas at $5 each and wish they had more stuffing/ flavor. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious and a generous quantity as well. I couldn't try more on the menu but hope to next time."
"Los Paisanos is an interesting culinary haven seated at Little Havana's outskirt. I came in expecting traditional Cuban cuisine but was gladly surprised to encounter a Honduran gourmet selection. Everything here - from the cozy closet-sized dining space to the graceful service has well exceeded my expectations. I ended up having the Bistec con encebollados which was out of this world. Three sides accompany the entree, of which I would most highly recommend the Yuca Frita (Fried Yuca). Looking forward to visiting this place more often!"
"One word: EMPANADAS!!Went here the day before a cruise in Miami, Florida and I had a huge craving for some since they are sorely missing in Michigan. They had two flavors: chicken or beef. Both were very delicious, fresh and cheap. The small restaurant itself gave mom and pop vibes and it screamed Cuban culture. It's an excellent option for those having a night on the town and need something to eat late at night."
"Gorgeous hidden patio area makes outdoor dining a breeze. Loved the ambiance and the outdoor mural. The food was super rich- the chorizo croquettes were salty and heavy, I wish they came with more sauce to cut through and lighten the bite. But really interesting flavor. My partner had a chicken rice (arroz imperial) dish that was flavorful but I wish it was slightly more aesthetic than just a blob of cheese on top. The passion fruit mojito was the perfect drink super light and refreshing! Space was awesome, food was decent but overpriced for what it was which is standard meats, rice, cheese, chicken. Think we spent a little over $70 on a light dinner."
"Entre Nos is a fabulous new restaurant in the heart of Miami Shores. We ate there Saturday night, and my Dining Companion, who was food editor of a major publication for two decades, pronounced the meal to be "very VERY good."The restaurant is at 9840 NE 2nd Ave, and if you haven't seen the sign, it's because it's the night-time occupant of Tinta y Cafe, which is open only for breakfast and lunch. The food was so good that we found ourselves dabbing fingers to get that last little bit of sauce from the salad plate.Their focus -- according to their website -- is "Florida-sourced ingredients, delivering a hyper-seasonal à la carte menu."The server lets you know where the food comes from, even explaining the origins of the salad. Excellent service, great food and -- well, a bit pricy. DC's perfectly done grouper cost $40, my tasty pork entre was $45. We also had delightful appetizers of grilled oysters ($28) and a salad ($18), plus an excellent bottle of Albarino ($65). There was also a steak on the menu for $70-something. I first thought that's maybe too pricy for Miami Shores, but then I got to thinking. The fabulous architecture firm Bruce & Bruce recently finished a beautiful renovation of a house on NE 102nd Street. It just sold for $3.3 million. With sales like that, the new folks moving into the neighborhood may find Entre Nos prices to be just fine."
"I came here today with my two friends to sample the Miami spice 2024 lunch menu. It did not disappoint. I ordered the following - Fried Calamari. This was so, so fresh. The calamari were soft and not chewy at all. The batter was so light and crispy. A great appetizer. My friends had the tuna tacos. I sampled a bit, and they were also very good. The tuna was extremely fresh. For my main I ordered the Linguini with Shrimp. This came with a finger licking garlic, butter, white wine, and parsley sauce. A solid dish.My friends ordered the Branzino and salmon. They stated they were very pleased with their choices. For dessert we all had their flan. This was also pleasant, although I wish there was more caramel sauce served with it. We also had a cappuccino each to round off our lunch. Not only did they look pretty, but they were wonderful too.The decor is pleasant. Look at my photographs to see their unusual bottle themed chandelier. The service was also top notch. A five stars from me."
"Francisca's was my recovery dinner on a rainy Memorial Day Monday after my trip. I was dropping off my laundry and stopped just to good a good solid meal after my "soaked" weekend. The tostones had a nice crisp to them, and the yuca was nicely steamed and flavored with garlic mojo. I liked that my chicken breast had a nice smokey flavor, plenty of meat and juicy. With the almond dusting and rich nutella my pudding was the perfect closing. All in all, the food was a solid 4 if not higher. The reason why it just makes 3 stars is similar to that of a few other reviews: service seemed slow, judgy and unattentive. The minute that I said I was only drinking water only I could sense the service being less than enthusiastic. I was offered bottled water - no problem in the wallet for me - but was surprised to later be able to get tap water at the end. I had to wait more than a little between plates. When I asked another waitress for utensils I got a "I'm not your waitress" instead of more politely offering to get her. Also, they could use better A/C..I like the smokiness in my tastebuds and not my clothes."
"I happen to be a tourist in the area and found Abuela on Uber eats and was so hungry and needed a really quick snack. I ordered the empanadas, croquet and fries plus the fresh mango smoothie, which was out of this world. I could have a smoothie every single day of my life and never get sick of it. She literally blended real mangoes. I'm in shock. The empanadas were incredible, we got the beef ones and my husband was just obsessed with it. He actually didn't let me have anything more than one bite because we ordered two pieces and he wanted more. The croquet were also amazing. The platter came with three different flavors, which were ham, cheese, and chicken. I couldn't tell the difference between the three of them honestly I'm so blown away with this place. I highly recommended to everybody."
"Was craving a cachapa and found this hidden gem. So glad I did! I ordered a cappuccino ( they have 2 sizes small or large, love this because most restaurants only have regular size) it was really good. I ordered the cachapa with steak and it was delicious. Meat was cooked perfectly and the cachapa was sweet, buttery and cheesy. The service was great & the ambience as well. Super cute spot, will be back for lunch next time i am in the area."
"For a hole in the wall is fantastic!A restaurant from Honduras in the heart of a Dominican area...You will listen to Bachata for sure...We ventured into a new place to satisfy my "Platano relleno" cravings... Well, I leave this place very happy.I must say that these people have the best Pupusas I've had so far in Miami. We order one Cheese and one chicharron... Also we tried a "Baleada con Carne" a typical Honduran dish perfect for any meal of the day.If you feel like trying Honduran snacks, they have a wide selection of national treats.Venture and try a "Semita" a sweet bread that was made in heaven to be enjoyed with a good cup of Coffee from the mountains of Copan. Make sure you are not in a rush. They service is slow... But good!"
"I was craving pupusas the other day so I called in my order. Unfortunately, they were out of pupusas so I got a baleada con carne. It was decent. Their curtido was really good though. I can't wait to try it on a pupusa next time! Oh and my banana batido was awesome! The staff I side was friendly and they were all following mask and distancing rules for COVID."
"I'm so happy that Serena brought back their happy hour. They have a decent selection of cocktails and bites. My favorites were the Sola Pero Acompañada and the plantain croquetas. Enjoying all this on a beautiful rooftop makes Serena the perfect spot to decompress after a hard day's work."
"This looked like it used to be a diner from the looks of it. They had a counter and a bunch of booths with colorful murals surrounding the inside. The menu sported Latin food with Mexican flair and creativity. The service was appreciated, and the food arrived in a timely manner. For starters, the Korean tostones ($15.99), timba ($9.99) and media noche egg rolls ($15.99) were ordered. There were three tostones topped with avocado, Korean BBQ pulled pork, crema Mexicana, pickled onions, and sesame seeds. This was outstanding. The tostones were crispy, but not overly done and the pork was tender. It was a well put together dish. The timba were cubes of fried queso Blanco and served with guava marmalade. I was most interested in trying this and it did not disappoint. There were 10 cubes, and each was fried to perfection. The guava marmalade paired nicely with the fried queso Blanco. Regarding the media noche egg rolls, there were three present with 8-hour roasted pork, sweet ham, pickles, a three-cheese blend, and homemade mustard aioli. Once they were picked up, it was well known how packed and loaded these egg rolls were. There was a great balance of all the toppings. Once again, the pork was succulent and tender while the mustard aioli enhanced the overall dish. For an entrée, the chimi burrito with chicken ($17.99) was ordered. It was a jumbo flour tortilla with yellow "Chuchi" rice, three-cheese blend, plantains and flash-fried with a cilantro-lime and crema Mexicana. There was also a side of fresh Pico de Gallo. Again, this was absolutely filled with all the fixtures. It somehow stayed all together even when eaten. I think the fried aspect had something to do with it. Regarding the taste, very solid. The chicken was seasoned and flavored very nicely, while the plantains provided a sweet factor to the burrito, but not too over powerful. Overall, it was filing and a good purchase. Will I go back? Easily."
"I was attending a conference nearby and we decided to grab a bite to eat in the eatery where Cilantro 27 is located.Cilantro 27 is located in an eatery with a dozen or so other establishments. You can choose from items ranging from burgers to ramen to tacos with a lot in between.Service was a miss. The cashier was not friendly like at all. I was traveling for work so I always like to leave a nice tip for service but they didn't let me. Yes that sounds weird but they just took the POS tablet and rushed it along. The ambiance is nice. The restaurant has a good setup. I ordered octopus tacos. The food took about 25-minutes to come out which was a lot. I don't know if that is usual or not but I would t come for a quick bite based on that.Lastly, the octopus tasted good. I think this place has promise but it may have just been an off day or hour for me."
"Came to check out Sim after a friend recommended it. We had a reservation but it was really needed; we were seated immediately. The restaurant has a very cool vibe. I started with a smoky lychee drink that had mezcal. It was pretty strong and tasted great! We ordered tuna tacos that were amazing. The mango chicken and friend rice were also wonderful. Our server recommended the Sim roll and I am so glad she did. The flavor was great with a little spicy mayo on the side. We had a great experience here and hope to come back again soon and try different items on the menu."
"I'd seen this spot near the Airport and office and had been wanting to check it out. I guess we should have heeded the 3 star average and some of the comments about overcharging and slow service. Up charge: $10 for mandatory valet, plus bottled water only, no tap (although a lot of the commercially bottled water is here from our water plant in sweet home Hialeah.) They also have a mandatory gratuity, and of course the waitress is there pushing for extra gratuity. With the gaps in service and up charging this didn't deliver value of close to $200. My mojito was also a little on the watered down side; I mean I felt no buzz at all.My friend Michelle ordered the lomo salteado. We ordered at the same time, yet her order took a long time almost to the point I finished my meal before her plate arrived. The food took such a long time that we ended up packing the food to go. A credit for the inconvenience would have been a nice touch. Ironically, the neon graphic by the kitchen said "left on read" . I think that's what happened with her order. They forgot about it and made some line about the system was down.My chicken cordon bleu - presented to look like a sushi roll was actually tasty with a thin breading and nice smash of ham and cheese. Although the garlic mash was probably from a powdered mix it was tasty and I was able to share it until her food arrived. The bacon wrapped sweet plantains were yummy as well. They're not offered on the regular app menu just part of their $40 appetizer tray that came with mahi mahi. We would have ordered that if they took out the fish, but the waitress kept pushing seafood even though i repeated about allergies. She finally got it As a separate app but I wonder how much of an up charge they put into it.The other app we did get, the loaded tostones with beef were not bad though my friend noted that one of the pieces of beef was a little tough. The high point was our dessert, the flan that we shared. The flan had a nice creamy texture and the chocolate garnish gave it a yummy boost. The espresso we had was a nice closing touch too. They do have DJ music (the DJ is the guy with the creepy face logo on the screen) and some other patrons were dancing later in the evening."
"This is such a great spot for breakfast or lunch. They have great specials and make the most perfect coffee. The service is really good. I stop in every chance I get. The ambiance is great too. If you have a chance I recommend trying them out."
