U-Maki Sushi Burrito

Clean, fresh-smelling, bountiful ingredients, smiling, competent wait staff; our go-to date lunch on work from home days. i'm witholding .3 of a star becausevthey closedntheir soda and tea-on tap station during Covid and haven't reopened it. So there's room yet to achieve perfectionI'm also bestowing an extra .3 of a star because they have a register bonus program, so every few dates, one of our entrees is free!

Great food, reliable. Little pricey if ordering fat boy each time. East to order ahead online

I guess cool concept but it def didn't give what I thought it would give.Tasted like something I could whip up within 5 mins in my kitchenMight need some other sauces or something

Right next to Black Bear Diner, we went to go check it out! If you want to get value for your buck, order the bowl since the burrito with toppings look to be half the size of the bowl. Staff were really nice and friendly and even accomodated for my friend who ordered almost all of their toppings. Reliable sushi for its price!

Great Poke bowl and burrito!!The Fat Boy burrito is the fave of the family. Also, the UMAKI fries is a good addition as well! The customer service at this place is great!! The staff is very friendly and quick. If you are in the area I would recommend it.

Food was fine... but really just fine. They call it a sushi burrito but only really cause the sushi roll is wrapped in paper. The flavor was good, and the service quick. I'm just not sure it was worth $50 for 3 people for quick service sushi.

Life is what U Maki, and if U Maki a point to have delicious sushi-ritos, then U Maki a point to come here.If Sushi is what you want then Sushi is what you get here, wrapped in burrito style rolls, or bowls, but try a sushi-rito, which is all the rage lately I think.They're not cheap but they're not too expensive, and I would definitely say they're one of the best options in Sugar Land along these lines.It's definitely worth checking out if this is what you're in the mood for.

⁣Feeling a little homesick for Seattle, I was craving a bowl of fresh poke - diced raw fish served over rice with a bunch of fun accompaniments and condiments.⁣⁣(Btw - it's pronounced 'po-keh,' not 'pokey' or 'powk.' Plz check yoself before you make a fool of yoself in a restaurant.)⁣⁣Anyways - I should've realized something was wrong at the local Houston spot I went to when I noticed that THEY DIDN'T EVEN FILL MY BOWL TO THE TOP. Like excuse me! You're the one offering unlimited toppings, don't stiff me just because I wanted ev-er-y-thang.⁣⁣Overall, not a fan of this spot. The ingredients looked less fresh than a Subway sandwich line, and I was finished eating my bowl within 5 mins. The one plus was that they offered Hot Cheetos as a topping. Small victories.

Food was terrible and now my stomach hurts after eating their food. All their ingredients they had looked like it had been sitting out for days due to the color. I should have looked at the food first before ordering and walk right out the door. The edamame looked brown. The fish smelled funny and did not taste fresh.I ended up only eating a few bites and threw the rest away. Just for 2 proteins a bowl was over $13.

I've since tried Umaki again and the quality has improved since my last experience! They reach out shortly after my last review via door dash and provided credit so we tried them out again and even another time after. I appreciate their support from my first experience
