Kind of hard to enjoy this place in the summer - it's just too hot to be comfortable. However, in the Fall and Spring, this is a great place to go. Good option to take kids for dinner. Fun atmosphere.

Great outdoorsy vibe. Plenty of food variety to choose from. Family oriented. They do a great job supporting and promoting small businesses. I love when they have pop-ups and live bands.

Your mans is a budding food truck connoisseur so imagine my excitement when I found out about this place. I pass by it every week when I head to my teaching internship, and I occasionally get Facebook posts about its events.I visited Three Acres for the first time last Friday. The venue hosted an event honoring teachers and nurses (both received 10% off their orders with their ID badges). Expectations met. The vibe here is that of church picnic, outdoor festival, and family get-together. About five or six food trucks set up shop so deciding what to eat was a good problem to have. I intend to come back when the park hosts its first-ever karaoke night this coming weekend. It's in my Filipino heritage to pick up a mic.

I just love this place! It's such a family friendly place to take the kids and enjoy an evening together.Amenities: There's bathrooms, a drink station complete with beer, and playground equipment for the kids to play on so you can finish your meal in peace. They also periodically have special events like bands, the Grinch appearances, etc too - you can see what's going on on their Facebook page.Food: You can check out what food trucks will be there in advance on their Facebook page as well. I know it always helped me to know what I want to order before I get there since I'll have the kids distracting me when I'm trying to order. If the Nacho Nachos truck is there, get it. They're amazing and such nice guys!Great idea for a place and well executed. Take the whole family!

It seems that food trucks have become the rage in the past few years. This food truck park is a great place to hang out with friends and eat some good food. The Three Acres Food Truck Park and Venue is typically only open Friday and Saturday. Depending on the type of event will determine how many food trucks are onsite on any given weekend. Many nights, they will have live music as well. The food trucks range from The Predator and Prey (assortment of burgers), Hoop Dee Doop Dee BBQ, Greedy's (Lobster Rolls), Nacho Nachos (uh, nachos), and various dessert trucks depending upon the weekend. They also have a walk-up bar with an assortment of drinks. They do have a calendar online at their website http://www.threeacresftp.com. Make sure you look at it before you make the trip because they do close during the colder months. Typically, they will close after the second weekend in December and open again in March. Again, check them out on their website or on Facebook to double check the schedule. The food truck park is located a short 3 or 4 miles west of the Gulf Freeway on FM1764 in Santa Fe. It is a great place to stop on the way home from the beach on Friday or Saturday. They have an assortment of picnic tables where you can sit down, enjoy your food and listen to the live music. When it gets crowded, the tables can fill up so we always take collapsible chairs just in case. They also have ladder ball and cornhole boards for a friendly game of beanbag toss. Plenty of room for the kids to run around too if you want to bring them. On occasion they will also have private events on the premises (usually during the day on Saturday). They also have car shows. Bottom Line: Depending upon the day, food trucks vary. The few times we have been, it has been a relaxing place to eat and listen to live music. Check their website for a current calendar of events. Bon appétit.

My first visit was a day that was "Dog Day" and a lot of dog adoptions and pet-friendly snacks and a wellness clinic on site. The wellness clinic was offering vet services at a discounted cost, which is absolutely amazing. There were multiple food trucks present, and everything smelled great. They have a concession stand with a pretty good variety of beverages, most had alcohol (just an FYI). I was confused by the website, as I read it that the picnic tables needed to be reserved, but you could bring your own pop-up chair. When we got there the reservations of the picnic tables was not the case. Perhaps that is only for special events? I did see that some of the events had an event fee, so those reservation requirements may only fall on those dates. A lot of picnic tables. A lot of space to put down a picnic blanket or have chairs available. There is a small playground for children, and there were a lot of play toys (balls of all sorts - basketball, soccer, volleyball, etc.). I am not sure if those belong to the site or if people brought their own. There is a little stage where a musician was playing live music. There are highball tables up by the concession stand area. The parking lot of very large, gravel. There was a little plastic pool that was filled up with water and ice for pups. I am not sure if that belongs to the site, but after the dog adoption people left the pool stayed. The only negative was that there is only one women's bathroom at the time that I visited. Luckily it wasn't too busy when I went, but I could imagine that would be a nightmare. All in all - it is a very cute place. They are active on their Facebook site and their website and they have some YouTube clips. Nice concept.

Do not participate in markets and events at this venue. They do not inform you prior to paying for your booth that the fees are non refundable then change the event last minute and refuse to refund your fees despite never mentioning prior to payment that fees are non refundable. Got conned out of $75 dollars in this economy is absurd.

Loved it! Very laid-back. Food trucks were good, there was live music, and we went on an evening where they had classic cars. We really enjoyed it and will be back!
