Texas Roadhouse

We loved Texas Road House 290 @ Hwy. 6. Things have changed. Last three visits.We both ordered Chicken Tender Salad. Both were golden chicken on the outside, pink chicken pieces in center. We show the waiter and send them back. New platters are delivered. Golden nuggets, pink inside. I tell both the waiter and server the grease is too hot. They are browning too fast. After the second disaster, we are finished. No appetite now. My daughter is worried I ate some that were not properly cooked and will get sick. I didn'tNext visit( another chance) we ordered steak and all was perfect. We were thrilled. All is good.We went last evening and this time, service was an issue. We went when they open at 4. There were people waiting for them to open, but not enough to fill a restaurant. We were seated within 5 minutes. The hostess took us to the back table by the bar. Next to us was a 5 stack empty glass stand and it stank. It smelled sour. Almost like vomit. We asked to be moved. 3/4 of this restaurant was empty. She moves us and leaves the rolls. We wait. And we wait. And we wait. My daughter saw waitstaff standing around. No one came to take our drink order. Finally she gets up and gets someone. The young man was very apologetic and takes our drink order. He returns. He gives my daughter an unsweetened tea and starts to hand me sweet tea. I say, Nono I had unsweetened too. He apologizes and comes back. In a few minutes another server comes, takes our order and all is well from that point on.The steaks were delish. Service was good. Two out of three were not up to standard. I'm hoping it's only this location.

I will NOT be coming back to this location again. Me and my boyfriend love Texas Roadhouse and EVERY single time we have gone to this location they always mess up so badly. 1. We ordered 14oz steak, cool. It was literally RAW. I showed the waitress after cutting into it several times to try and see if there was ANY part of it was medium rare, and asked her "can we just get a new steak this is raw" and she points at the SMALLEST piece of medium rare on the raw ass steak and said "that's medium rare " like are you kidding me. Anyways she takes it back. I'm guessing the head chef comes out with our new steak recooked asking to cut into it and giving us a smug look, only for this steak to be RAW as well. Now this steak was for my bf and I had already gotten my food which was the country fried sirloin (pass , get something else) and by the time we got our THIRD steak (which was rare not medium rare but my bf did not want to send it back again) my food was cold. The manager Sam, did NOTHING about this and just said "I get it you want it medium rare I understand " blah blah like just cook the steak right man. 2. After this whole deal w the steak, the waitress I guess was upset with me because of asking her to do her job and only came back to ask if I wanted a box at the end. 3. The restroom.... Omg it's literally like a frat threw a party in the restroom, no toilet paper, toilet paper on the floor, door was locked from inside, it stinked, absolutely the worst restroom I have ever seen. 4. I gave a generous 2 stars because of the rolls , duh the rolls w the butter is great and the hostess staff was nice .Overall Texas Roadhouse has gone downhill and we will not be visiting this location again. Go to the other one on 1960 yall .

Our waitress was wonderful she checked in with us but not in a pestering way, we were able to enjoy our food and have good service. The food as always was good it was extremely busy here today but we did just have a tornado and a lot of people were affected by not having working electricity including us so it felt good to get out the house and enjoy some good food and nice cold drink. When she brought my steak she had me to cut it in front of her to check the temperature of how I wanted it cook and it was perfecto. The onions and mushrooms were cooked just like I like it the shrimps were grilled to my liking everything was delicious. It was because of the amount of people there so definitely not a date ambiance but I was very much ok with that considering what a lot of us had just went through with the storm. I suggest getting on their waitlist I love that option and uses it all the time. Didn't take a pic of the rolls the main reason for me choosing this restaurant but it was bussin bussin per usual as the younger kids say. Definitely would go back to this location.

This was insane we came in and service was slow but they were busy so understandable. Our service was super sweet so it made up for it me and my husband got our steaks his came out under cooked mine came out over cooked so they remade them then it came back out mine was still over cooked and my husband was perfect. The picture is of my third steak it was cooked right and I got two bites In and then noticed that there was something sticking up from the side so I picked it up and notice it was a finger nail. This was absolutely Disgusting.

TERRIBLE / Near Death EXPERIENCE Food: 1/10; I had the All-American Cheeseburger and my partner had the Prime Rib steak. Prime rib was slightly undercooked and flavorless. My burger had a whole marble in it.Service: 1/10; After the marble was discovered, the Waiter disclosed to me that the back of house really thought that I had put this marble in the burger. THE AUDACITY.When the manager had it remade, he came back and made a comment asking if there was a marble in the new burger. Like?! A potential death is something to jest about?Have reached out to corporate on 1/29 and they have yet to get back to me after a week and a half. Goes to show how serious they take these complaints.Ambiance: 4/10, Kinda dirty inside, didn't have a chance to check the bathroom but can imagine if the rest is lacking.

I was shocked at how much me and my family enjoyed their food. It's a chain and usually chains are mid but I felt like Texas Roadhouse was a step above your average chain. And yes, those dang rolls are so freaking delicious!!! I had to tell the lady no more because I was already getting full from just the rolls. I ordered the award wining ribs and I gotta say they were pretty damn good! Great flavor and they were fall off the bone delish. My husband got the chicken fried steak which was also delish! The gravy is what really made it. It wasn't just generic gravy it was similar to my mom's homemade gravy. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is the hostess stand staff and the server we had. Our waitress didn't anything at all. I get she was probably new but this is on management to train properly before letting servers go out on their own. As for the hostess staff they're just young and silly, joking around with each other. No hate for them, I respect youngsters who wanna work. They were just a bit disorganized is all. All in all I'll definitely be returning for those rolls and ribs!

Service is lively and on top of things. Wait time was good, and manager stopped by a couple of times and even took our group picture. Food was great and affordable. We had a large party of 10 and we were squished! This location doesn't do well with large parties... mostly booths.

Roadhouse SteakhouseOur second visit to the Cypress location at 290/Hwy 6, was really nice. We went on a Friday night so it was bustling. We got on the waitlist online. Upon arrival, we checked in and within minutes we were seated in a booth for two, eating fresh from the oven rolls with sweet butter! Jeremey took care of us like a pro. He got our tater skins started while we looked for the rest. When they came out, Jose, a manager, came by and checked on us. Jeremey then came by to make sure the ranch I asked for was out, and it was. When we were ready to order, the Boy had his favorite, chicken fried chicken, country gravy and fries. I got the beef tips with savory brown gravy, over a bed of mashed potatoes. Side of green beans made with onion and bacon. Small ranch salad. All delicious as usual!Overall, I'm glad we had an opportunity to return. Jeremey's easygoing yet attentive service was great. We really enjoyed the festive atmosphere, light and fun. It was a great date night with the Boy.

Well , boy did I learn my lesson. Shame on you Texas Roadhouse. I did a to go order for 3 qts of seasons rice and this is what I got for $38 dollars. Really, really and shame on me for paying it but I was in a pinch. Rice....just rice. And come to find out it's not even 3 qts. The quote I got over the phone the guy said they were quarts. I was really disappointed in the way this turned out. C'mon. You are better than this. I needed enough to feed 10 people.

It's a chain steakhouse. No big frills or thrills but the quality is really nice. My steak came out a lot saltier than I wanted but not enough to warrant a return to the kitchen. Staff was sweet and very friendly, often coming to refill drinks and checking in on me and my friend.Will be back. :)
