Steak 48

I had such a great dinner last night at Steak 48. As we checked in for our reservation we were seated immediately. AllOf the staff were kind and greeted us as we walked through the restaurant. We were seated in a nice, quiet, intimate area of the restaurant. I'm assuming that is where people who are celebrating an occasion goes bc everyone in there was, including me. Our waiter was so friendly and spoke to the menu well. All of our food and drinks came out in a timely fashion. The portions are so big, even the entres are enough to share. We have alot of food brought home lol. I was gifted a complementary dessert for my bday (caramel cake) it was soooo delicious!!! Everything was 10/10.This afternoon, the restaurant called to check on us and ask about our experience, which was so thoughtful. I cannot wait to visit steak 48 again. :)

Loved it! Tried it for the first time ever to celebrate a milestone career achievement for my husband. They made it so special and we felt well taken care of. We tried the following: - Wagyu Fillet Mignon (8oz) - cooked to perfection - rack of Lamb Ribs - husband raves about this - creamy Mac n Cheese- this was good but nothing to write home about, it's passable - crème brûlée Corn - this was divine and I would go back for this alone - chef Omar's au gratin potatoes- this tasted like way too much cheese (is there such a thing) and butter. It wasn't exemplary in any way and we regretted ordering it. - fresh burrata- this comes with a tomato jam, and you think what is that? Like a ketchup? But whatever it is, it's delectable- and I wanted sooooo much more of it. - 48 Caesar with warmed poached egg- there's just something about a Caesar salad at a streak place. It's always so crispy and fresh. But this was hardly noticeable. For dessert we had the red velvet bread pudding. Was delicious! I did see some people get cookies and wanted to order the same but never saw them on the menu.

First and foremost, thank you Ashley for getting us a table for 10 during OTC. At first the host said you all didn't have room. I talked to Ashely and she got us in.! So thank you for that as we all really enjoyed it! Food: the appetizers were amazing! The deviled eggs are so dam good! The bread they bring out is good too. The meatballs were Excellent! I was getting real full by time our main course came. Also how could I forget about the wedge salad. Top notch like pimp C said. The bone in ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection. Full of flavor and just amazing. The sides, my god, the best whipped potato's and Mac and cheese I've ever had. Really enjoyed the meal. The dessert. The Oreo pop corn sundae lol. My god. It was so good too. I wish they would have told us they bring out cookies after. I could have just ate a dozen of those as dessert. Top notch spot. I'll definitely be back asap. Decor: I really enjoyed the look. Also it wasn't as loud as other steakhouses so I appreciated that a lot. I'll be back soon. Easy five star review.

We arrived at our reserved time and was able to get in immediately and be seated. Mark was our server and the provided exceptional service from the time he greeted the table until we left the table. I am a steak girly and I ordered the Ribeye Steak Medium well and it is in my top 5 steaks... i literally wish i lived in HTX just for that steak. The scallops were amazing as well as the crab cakes. We had the deviled eggs as an appetizer and let's just say they did not disappoint. I feel like we had every side BUT the asparagus & the sweet potato mash were my favs hands down. Also a thank you to the manager Ernest for my making sure my sister had no allergic reactions. Next time my husband d will be in town with and we must come back! Don't forget the red velvet bread pudding, don't leave without it! It should be a requirement. Never have I tasted anything like that before

My husband and I celebrated our 12th anniversary yesterday and this place did not disappoint. From the valet to the upstairs overlook to Hotel Derek seating! The service was excellent. All of the food was delicious, especially the crusted sea bass!!!!! The desert was ginormous but was so good! I will be back. Thank you for making our anniversary a great experience.

I didn't get to take any pictures due to the fact that the vibes were quite dark and fancy, but nonetheless, my first experience here was pretty great!I ordered the stone fruit drink, which was quite nice & tasty.The table ordered prime steakhouse meatballs, crispy shrimp, & shishito peppers - all of which were very tasty!Then for our entree, most of us ordered the same thing, a ribeye steak, with our liking of how it is to be cooked. We also ordered a few sides like buttermilk whipped potatoes, creamy mac & cheese, whipped praline sweet potato, and corn crème brûlée. Everything was piping hot and super delicious! Overall, my experience was as great and I can't wait to come back. Definitely recommend!

I love Steak48 and I had to try the one out here in Houston. The service was good I forgot our waitress name, but the ambiance was very nice! They have a upstairs seating area too, that was very nice. Good for date nights, and celebrations. It gives intimate vibes for sure. I love Steak48 and recommend here for a nice time that's upscale with opulence in a affluent neighborhood! For my food I ordered the Caesar salad with poached egg and the crispy shrimp that was very good! It's my fav when I go here. I was also grateful to choose the dessert of my choice for my birthday, and I decided to pick the Key lime Pie that was so delicious!! Not to tarty either! Overall, I love this Steak48 and the location! I will come back here when I come to Houston. Also, Valet parking is $10.00 -Marshay D.

Steak 48 delivers an outstanding experience on all fronts. The French Old Fashioned is a standout cocktail that complements the restaurant's upscale vibe and exceptional service. Whether you're enjoying a meal at the bar or at a table, the combination of a chic atmosphere, attentive staff, and expertly crafted drinks makes for a memorable evening.The French Old Fashioned, in particular, is a nod to the skill and care that Steak 48 puts into their cocktail program, making it a must-try for any visitor.I am not big on desserts so I finished the evening off with an Espresso Martini. A must have! Cheers.

If you want what could be the best meal in Houston, stop here. It's not a bargain place, but the food and service are exceptional. Great wine list. Side orders that are unusual, but never disappoint. Try the asparagus. You will not get a better steak anywhere. And seafood like I've never seen before.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Steak 48. Despite arriving dressed appropriately for my friend's birthday dinner, I was dress coded while other females in much skimpier clothing were allowed in without issue. This double standard is both confusing and frustrating.Moreover, the restaurant's strict table policy added to the inconvenience. My friend could only secure a table for nine, which limited our celebration. Overall, the inconsistent enforcement of the dress code and the inflexible seating policy made what should have been a special evening quite unpleasant. I won't be returning to Steak 48.
