Hippo Burgers

We were in the mood for a burger and we've been seeing this local chain on our adventures and decided to pop in. I also just love the hippo mascot. The portions are alright as we were able to split a burger and fries and leave satisfied. Something to note, this isn't a fries included establishment so you'll have to order everything on its own. The building seems kind of old, but it was quiet, so this is definitely a good place for a chill, sit down meal. The employees were polite which is always niceThe burger itself was fine. Definitely a good simple burger joint, for when you're not looking for fast food and you want to support a local business.

YUM-One of the best burgers places around. Picked up several to-go orders for an office lunch. The online order was simple and pick up was super easy. Everyone's orders were correct and the burgers didn't disappoint. I had the kids meal with fries because it is the perfect size for lunch. Hamburger was hot and seasoned well. Topped with all the free fresh fixings just melted in my mouth. Fries were hot and crispy and the onion rings were made in house. This location is small and we normally get our food to go. Definitely would recommend!

There's not a lot of food destinations when it comes to Humble, but one can mark Hippo Burgers as an excellent spot for tasty burgers.I was recommended this place by a friend. Order at the counter, and the food will be brought out to you. Their menu focuses on burgers, with lots of varieties available to order. Given I had already had a burger the day before, I opted for the Chicken Especial which had a bit of everything.The sandwiches were served upside down. Hmm, that seems to be their thing... The chicken was cooked well, but my Cajun fries were very salty. The complete menu is not listed on their website, which is unfortunate. Their in house menu includes salads and several variations of fries. Definitely worth a return! Plus I have to figure out the mystery of the upside down burgers...

Soooo good deff recommend It's very good taste as well as portion size. Price is average not cheap but not super expensive

Ok!! This burger was one of the best burgers I have had. The staff were friendly and nice, but this place is a hole in the wall & needs a facelift!!

If you're looking for a break from the traditional fast food burgers, I'd recommend Hippo Burgers. Everything is cooked fresh and hot. There's a lot of variety to choose from, including the multiple way to get your fries. Bring your appetite because you're gonna go home full.

These burgers are massive! I had half for dinner and half the next day for lunch. And they taste great. Definitely a great buy and I wish I hadn't waited so long to try them.

Fantastic burger! Best burger I've had in not only Atascocita but all of Houston proper.
