"Just found this restaurant by recommendation of some friends. Casual dining, great diverse menu. The food was great and very well priced. Perfect for a casual neighborhood dining experience."
"There's quirky charm to this place. Something about the ripped bench seating, run-down arcade machines, and dark unattended salsa station gives it a unique vibe. Despite the somewhat warm room temperature on a summer night, this place seems like a fun hang out place for the locals, especially with a bar that serves frozen margaritas. We just came here to try the food and hang out with some new friends.Food is ordered up front and then brought out to you. Drinks, salsa, and condiments are all self serve. I ordered the "Huge" seafood burrito for a moderate price of about $15 (July 2023). The burrito was a decent size, but was mostly filled with rice with 2 (maybe 3) pieces of shrimp and some fish. It was good, but I'll try something else if I ever come back. The complimentary chips were a bit stale, but it's complimentary. The service was disappointing, even after tipping a good amount. When asking for a to-go container, the person behind the counter was already in a sour mood. She unwillingly handed us one container. When we asked for a second, it came with an unpleasant attitude. I preferred if they had the to-go containers as self-serve to avoid the interaction. The salsa station offers jalapeños, red salsa, and pickled carrots. Love it. With that said, I question if any excess drippings fell back into the serving bowl from anyone's fingers because accidents happen when filling small plastic cups with large ladles. Is it still worth it? Worth it!Overall, I wouldn't choose this as my first choice of Tex-mex, especially because there are so many other options just miles down (Gringos, Lupe, El Tiempo [though expensive], and those smaller mom and pop shops). I truly wish I could love this place because it a local thing, but I'm not a fan of the service, atmosphere, or food. Maybe next visit would be better."
"Salata isn't only the best salad bar I have ever been to; it paid off. So I had that 12 extra pounds left from when the world shut down, and I couldn't seem to lose it. Well, I lost it by coming here about three times a week. I like to say it was easy because of the variety of salads I had to choose from, allowing me not to get bored. So, you have the mixture of greens, an assortment of veggies, not your norm veggies, more than the go-to veggies, a selection of bread, then your protein, which would be chicken, shrimp, or salmon. Oh, another thing I liked too: once your veggies, salad, protein, and dressing are in the bowl, the staff mixes everything together. Also, I like the green and white decor; it is so bright and calming. And it seemed like most of the people coming in for lunch were on the same journey as me. One lady told me to do half and half for soda, like half soda and half water. Great tip"
"Ordered customized salads online and picked up shortly. Absolutely loved the multigrain croissant. Completely amazed by the texture and flavor. As for the salad, it's $9 for a regular side salad, $3 for chicken and $1 for avocado. Not too shabby. Downside was the chicken was so salty. Granted it could've been all the other side toppings with the chicken that made the salt flavor enhanced. I didn't use dressing bc I rarely do. I ended up adding more greens to dilute the salty aspect of it. Besides the salt, I'll probably be back again due to limited salad places nearby."
"Craving something light and refreshing for lunch, so I stopped in for a build your own salad. There are so many fresh toppings and protein options. I got so many toppings I almost forgot I had lettuce. I always go with the shrimp and avocado. Those cost extra, but they're worth it. I don't have the rewards program, but Eddie checked me out and let me know all the benefits, and he made the checkout seamless. I was in a time crunch this visit, but next time, I hope to enjoy the patio, weather permitting."
"Let's begin with a Raplata for Salata.I like to sing fast songs but my fans love the BALLADI like to log in but my password's INVALIDI'm walking in the air with a Snowman like ALEDAnd I like to go to Salata when I want SALADFresh greens are something for which we RALLIEDAnd I like to worship Barbie if you'll let me be CANDIDAnything she wants especially a tossed SALADBut she would never want me if I looked like DJ KHALEDI wonder if my parking pass is still VALIDI wonder if my voice could ever sound like KHALIDI wonder why my d*** just got rock SOLIDBut I love Salata when it comes to SALADThe salad itself was maybe three or four stars as opposed to the five star salads in some of the best locations, and the portion size was about four stars, although it wasn't huge which would lead to 5.Their croissant is amazing too, not healthy but omg, that whole wheat croissant is worth the price of admission alone, and you get one free with your salad. Oh, and the best dressing is the Lemon one, but a lot of people like Fresh Herb. It's a lovely large location with a little room in the back as well, so there's plenty of places to sit and eat. It's definitely one of the better locations that we have been to, and it's part of the super fancy mall and pretty gorgeous outside in a modern "shopping village" way.The better locations are Weslayan (#1 fave, the best employees and biggest salads!), Gray (some great employees, good salad) and I-10 next to Energy Corridor/Hwy 6 (great ingredients, #2 fav!).However, I had to increase the rating because a couple of the employees were really friendly, although one of them a little bit less so.The reason I rounded up from four to five stars is because of the girl that was here that recognized me from Yelp. She was so excited and happy and extraordinarily lovely to us. She was thrilled that the person who reviews all the salad places had come in.I'm usually told that I'm the person that reviews all the boba places, but salad is more healthy so it's nice to be associated with that as well. She is the reason I will definitely be back to this location. And let's finish with more rap:Finding good food is hard, finding good salad is HARDERSometimes you pay a high price, some times you have to BARTERSometime Barbie comes here in fencenets, sometimes in a GARTERBut if you want a wonderful Salad, go to SALATANow I have to go, so I'll Salata Alligator."

We arrived to this spot and there was plenty of parking. We walked in and were greeted and sat immediately on a Sunday morning. The customer service was on point. We were able to enjoy the regular menu and the resturant week menu. The pork belly was great. The waffle and omelet were good..not great..but good. The chicken fried chicken was pretty good. All was reasonably priced.

My absolute favorite fish tacos from anywhere. These are the best! I make about a 40 minute drive just to go here for the tacos. If you sign up online, you can get a free queso. I usually get two original fish tacos with rice and refried beans. The cilantro line rice is so good. Try dipping a chip in the refried beans and top with jalapeños. Yum! OK, I'm hungry. I need more fish tacos.

If you're a health fanatic or just a person that enjoy raw vegetables and salads, then this place is for you! When you walk into this establishment it feels like you're in Salad Heaven! It is the buffet of salads with over thirty toppings to choose from so please be aware because a person can easily get carried away overtopping their salad. Although I've never tried them, they also offer soups and wraps on the menu. My husband and sons really enjoy the turkey wraps with the jalapeño cilantro lime dressing! 1. This particular location is by far the cleanest and most professional and friendly staffed Salata that I have visited. I stopped by today for a salad after an invigorating workout at the gym. I just felt like eating clean. I ordered a small salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side. The salad itself cost $8 and the protein that I ordered was an extra $4. I also asked for avocado which is an additional $1 charge. You can get the pita chips or the bread with your order at no additional cost. I also ordered a bottle of water which was $3. My total bill for a small salad, bread, and water was $18. I'm not sure if that's expensive to you all but when it comes to eating healthy and clean, I don't mind spending the money. Besides, it was cheaper and much healthier than a piece of filet mignon. 2. When placing your order, the server behind the counter will ask you what do you want to order. If you're ordering a salad or a wrap, they will start off by placing all of your ingredients in a bowl until you have reached the end of the serving line. You have the option of allowing the server to mix and toss your salad along with the salad dressing. However, if you're anything like me, you can ask for your dressing on the side and opt out of the mixing part. I never let them mix my salad. It's nothing against them but rather a preference of mine. 3. I gave this establishment five stars based on the professional and friendly staff, the immaculate presentation and cleanliness of the dining area and the serving line, the quick but neat service, and the relaxing ambience! 4. Keep in mind this is the Vintage Park location near Tomball and it has a plethora of other restaurants and stores in the surrounding area and it can be a bit confusing when searching for the Salata. I couldn't find it the first time I visited. There's plenty of parking but it's pretty busy so be careful driving and even walking in the parking lot.

For my three or four trips here I thought they were very prompt and courteous and competent. Obviously a really well-run establishment. They also have a drive-thru which is handy. Order ahead online, drive through and there you are.Salata has been an incredibly well-run franchise, IMHO.

Nothing like takeout with fresh greens and a refreshing lemonade on a warm Spring day!!!! This was my 1st time visiting this location. Salata is definitely a great place to get a wide selection of salads, toppings, and refreshing teas/lemonade. This location had great service and a peaceful atmosphere that was definitely needed after a busy morning. The parking was excellent and the location was very accessible / visible to the freeway which made it easy to locate. If you are in Katy and you are looking for refreshing/clean eats stop by this location and enjoy!!!

I was just looking for something really simple and chill for dinner. I chose this spot because it seemed like I could get some thing that was an Uber heavy. This is basically make your own salad/wrap which is something I very much fancy. I got to pick everything that I want it in my ramp and since I'm a picky eater sometimes I love that. The girls that help me were very accommodating, I asked for a side of radishes ( which I know is weird ) and they had no problem charging me three dollars for it and I have no problem paying the three dollars for it as well. The freshness was great, they had a large selection of drinks and even had freshly baked cookies which were excellent. For something low-key and quick and light, this is the spot in the neighborhood. Everything else is super Duper heavy.

This was my first visit to a Salata and I must say, I love the concept! It's so much fun being able to pick and choose from the wide array and variety of toppings! I, for one, love options so this is a true treat for me! The variety of meats is also impressive! I view it as the Subways of salads. Our service was great! We walked straight up and were served right away. And we moved our salads quickly down the line. The hardest part was deciding between all the options. The one criticism I will say is that I wish they had more of a variety of soft bread options: pita bread, roll, croissant, soft baguette. They only had hard bread options like bread sticks and I'm a soft bread lover. I feel like this would just elevate the entire salad experience. The salad was a good size and I was able to eat off of it for more than one meal so I'd say that's worth the price for the amount and variety of options. I'd definitely return.

Always one of my go to lunch spots while at work for the week. Salata is always a good choice for me. Fresh ingredients and nice customer service! In and out. No inside seating.

"Fantastic! This little build-your-own-salad bar is right below the hotel I'm staying in this weekend for a conference. Stopped off during a quick lunch hour because I am a big fan of a massive loaded salad. You can choose between a small (which is a generous portion) or a regular (which is massive), pick your greens of which there are 6 options, then all the toppings. Like, literally ALL the toppings you can imagine. There are no limitations. Yes, you do have to pay extra for protein, but they plop on a decent amount. The bacon is free and pretty sure I got like half a pound in my salad. No complaints! Many dressing options and they toss it for you or put the dressing on the side. I forgot to take a photo before I started my snarf sesh, but you get the idea. Fresh, tasty, fast, and affordable!"
"The salads are awesome. Build as you go sinilar a Chipotle or Subway but can be much healthier. The large bowls are big enough for 2 people. You spend about $10-$12 per person depending if you get drinks or the types of add ons you get on the salad. The place is big enough to get a table even at busy hours. The staff is bilingual (Spanish). Try the juices, they're awesome."
"Best gyro spot!!!! I heard about this place and drove all the way from cypress to try it and it was worth it!!!! The meat is so tender and has such good flavor, the veggies in the wrap tasted so fresh. The chicken quesadilla was delish also they put the grilled onions in it made it even better. They were fast ,got our order and made it right in front of us. Such a great place for quick pick ups. Going back to try the rest soon!"
"Do yourself a favor and split the fries with someone. Those, plus their half pound burgers, make for a huge meal! Burger was great. Very clean - could smell the cleaner used but it wasn't unpleasant. Big screen TVs tuned to March Madness."
"Staff is very friendly, food is good, and the smoothies are amazing. They keep the place very well cleaned and the waits aren't bad at all! Definitely a better choice than other smoothie places, they use actual ingredients so you don't get those weird fake food tastes. I loved coming here and definitely will be back!"
"Salada is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves salads. Even if you're not a big salad fan, their salads are so amazing that they might just convert you. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and there's a wide variety of options to choose from. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. Overall, Salada is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious and healthy meal."
"It's like your regular Salata everywhere you go. It's a lot of salad with a lot of toppings for not much money. Toppings were all fairly fresh. Basil chicken was just kind of meh tasting as it seemed like it had been sitting in a cooler for around a month. I'd probably eat here again just because it's a salad bar that doesn't nickel and dime you for each topping you add."
"I've been hearing good things about this place so I decided to stop by and get some stuff for my family. Omg y'all. The food is so good. The dishes I ordered were a hamburger for myself and a chicken kebob plate and jerk chicken plate. Everything was top notch. The burger I got with just cheese and sauce. Sooo good. The sauce is a little sweet and reminds me of the sauce on the hot and spicy burger that Whataburger has sometimes. While I waited the owner gave me some rice and jerk chicken to taste. I wish I had gotten an order for myself! The chicken was perfectly spicy and juicy. The rice was great too. Whew I'm definitely coming back here to try the wings and Philly cheesesteak. This is strictly a takeout place as it's in the gas station. You may have to wait a little bit for the food to be prepared, but trust, it's worth the wait. The owner is vey nice and friendly and best of all the meat is halal. Run, don't walk."
