"WOW. Best ramen, Best gyoza ever. My husband has been trying to get me to come here for a while but for one reason or another we just never made it. I'm sorry I waited so long. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. They don't have an overly large menu which I really appreciate because the food that is on their menu is very delicious. We had the gyoza and it was so good that we ordered 2. I ordered the Tsukemen ramen. It was spicy and delicious and perfect. My husband had a few of the yakitori skewers. He had the gizzard and the chicken. They were amazing also. We will definitely be back. Also the vibe here is very chill. The music was good."
"Small place with a traditional Japanese feel. Parking can be an issue. Service was good. Hands down the best Ramen I have had in Houston. Tamashi's ramen did not tasty overly salty or leave some weird film in my mouth like some of the other popular ramen spots in town. Theirs tasted more homemade than many that I have tried. Pro Tip: Ask for some of their hot sauce/chili paste it has a great flavor and heat.Tonkotsu, $10.75: Nice portion with a rich bone broth. The flavor was deep and rich. All the ingredients were top notch. Would highly recommend.Tamashi's Menn, $11.75: Broth was also rich in flavor like the Tonkotsu. the shrimp were nicely cooked. Chicken Karaage, $6.50: Chicken thighs battered and fried in a crispy coating. Great appetizer especially for those that are not super adventurous. Can't say enough about the quality of the ingredients and the price of the food here. Would highly recommend and return."

"Greeted as we walked in and seated right away. Service was fast and pleasant. Casual family friendly but hard for large groups. The space is small. On the menu there is lots to choose from... but I wanted noodles and soup and when I saw curry... the decision was made. I ordered the Curry Tsukemen (delicious full bodied curry soup with a fun display of toppings, the noodle had a nice chew to them. A hug in a bowl). Shared parking lot.I guess it's all about turnover. They were very quick to clear a dishes and bring the bill.I'd come back."
"I was actually pleasantly surprised by the place. Where it's located it doesn't look like it'd be really nice on the inside, but it really is. I went there for lunch with a group from work for someone birthday one day. There was about 10 of us there. The restaurant isn't very big on the inside, but they do have a few long tables that will seat a larger party. They have some pretty good lunch specials. I got the one with one sushi roll and the ramen.California Roll - I got mine with soy paper ($1 extra) - It was pretty good for a California roll. I usually rate a sushi place on how well they can do a California roll. They pass for sure.Ramen - The broth was really good. Probably some of the best that I've had in Houston. Everything in the ramen tasted fresh and was well prepared.I was happy that they had soy paper, and was ok with paying extra for it. And knowing that the California roll tasted fresh and was well prepared, I'll be back to try the other sushi too. I'll also be going back for that ramen."
"I rarely review for takeout/delivery (UberEats in this case) because I'm not getting the full experience. However, the sushi was tasty! Let's get into the deets:Sunomono Salad w/ Shrimp- Very light and refreshing. Minor complaint: the cucumber was unevenly sliced. Some were paper thin, some were thick. Baked Scallop Roll- Still warm when I received it. I enjoyed the spicy kick. Loved that they didn't skimp on the scallops.Foie Gras & Scallop Sushi- This was THEE star of the order! Divine richness melting in your mouth... MMmmM. If it wasn't 7.95 per piece (UberEats listed price), I'd order much more. Life's too short to eat basic weekday dinner!! Lol. Now I definitely have to stop in and get the real deal dining experience. Can't wait!"
"Came here for a quick lunch and enjoyed the no-frills approach. You order at the front cashier and then the food comes out (pretty fast, no issues for us there). The cashier was super friendly and welcoming! We ordered the edamame, seaweed salad, and tonkotsu ramens. Everything arrived piping hot, cooked to order. The ramen had a nice, deep flavor and was a perfect portion. Easy parking as it is located in a strip center."
"Awesome local spot. Lighting and music makes you feel really relaxed to enjoy a good meal and have a conversation. Service was fast and very attentive. Cold brews on draft! Now to the most important part.....the food was amazing. Very flavorful and filling. Dumplings were steamed and super delicious. Parking can be ridiculous because of the nearby hookah and bar next door but it's worth the trip."
"I don't know what I can tell you to come here other than YOU NEED TO COME HERE! This is my favorite local spot, been here numerous times and I can honestly say that they are always consistent. Always clean, neat, and minimalistic which allows you to appreciate the environment even more with a glass of wine. From their tasty gyoza, to their raw octopus, honestly all their apps are delicious, the only issue is settling with just a few. Their buns are also a favorite with my family, the soft crab and pork ones are our favorites.Spicy chicken Ramen is my go-to all the time but I like to steal some bites from my boyfriend's steak hibachi, I tell you they know how to properly cook a steak hibachi with rice and veggies. Their teas are also a great addition to the overall experience, Peach is my favorite with their peach popping balls, my daughter personally loves the "fancy" glasses they come with to add that extra touch.Lastly, the service is always great! I feel like IZA hires employees with the same expectation from Chick-fil-a because everyone is always so kind. When I say kind, they are always happy to greet you, give you a genuine smile, and such a overall a great experience at a community restaurant."
"I think im adding this restaurant to my rotation, i really like everything about the place is small but cozy and peaceful. All the food was great, my only wish it that they had more drinks available, they have a big alcohol menu but for non acoholic beverages nothing stands out as special"
"I like coming here for lunch because it's not too busy and the food comes out fast. They have a cool lunch special $12.50 which includes an entree & appetizer. I recommend the Avocado tofu rice bowl. They also have vegan ramen and/or you can substitute most of their other ramen bowls to make it vegan. Servers are really nice and well trained. Soft music vibes in the background. Lowtop bar and hightop community table in addition to some booths and outside tables."

Great friendly staff for our Christmas Eve dinner. We ordered the tsukemen dipping noodles, spicy miso and takoyaki. All came out fast and were delicious. Tiger den has always been a favorite for us and we are never disappointed. If you're looking for good ramen this is one of the places to go to. It is a little dark in there so reading the menu can be challenging for some. But it's still a nice, hip and clean restaurant.

It definitely hit the spot. On saying that upon walking getting hit up for money by a drifter wasn't what I expected this far away from downtown. The place is extremely small, but dining alone tonight so didn't think anything of until they tried to seat me at last table...it was very uncomfortable. There was a booth side that was impossible to get to as the table next to me was so close that no one could get to that side so had to settle in chair facing the wall as my whole right side of my body had basically become one with the wall. Couldn't stand being so uncomfortable so within minutes I looked around for a better option and there beside entry door was an available high chair seating that peered out to parking lot.I ordered the Yellowtail Raku roll and the Curry Tsukemen...both items deemed to be spicy, but neither of them were. Though the roll was quite refreshing and they didn't skimp on the fish. The ramen came with an abundance of dipping noodles and toppings (fish cakes/cabbage/kani), pork a bit less that what I expected, but it was ever so tender and tasty. If you live in the area it definitely great for take out. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit though.Service very friendly.Total experience:Slightly over 3.5

This little restaurant has the best ramen that I've ever tasted! The 7 spice is so good. Fresh noodles with a coconut creamy broth.

Nut allergy friendly - I've been here many times, had many of the appetizers, ramen, and rolls, and never had an issue with nuts.I hate leaving a bad review for a place after going there for years, but in its current state Mikoto has changed so much that I have to raise the issues. In its current state, maybe a 2/5 but it has a strong foundation that I hope will lead to change.I've been going to Mikoto since 2019 for lunch, as you can see by my receipts. I've seen the price change from $15.99 for lunch to $17.99 in 2021 to $19.99 in 2022. I wasn't actively leaving reviews at that time, but you'd see my score change from a 5/5 to progressively decrease over time.Entering Mikoto, you see a bar and a host stand prominently at the front of the establishment. Walking past the host stand, you enter the main seating area, which is comprised of several island-style tables and several booths. It is possible that you will share the island with other individuals or small groups. The AYCE papers are present in boxes at the table. Some of them feel as if they haven't been reprinted since 2019. They are flimsy, or even soggy at times.Service at Mikoto really varies. On some occasions, I've been approached very quickly and had my order taken quickly. In other occasions, it took over 10 minutes for a waitress to approach my table, even trying to flag someone down. The AYCE lunch is NOT fast, especially if you're ordering sushi. Mikoto advertises made-to-order sushi, and will take a while to get you food. An AYCE meal with 4-5 rolls here between two people took over 1.5 hours between appetizers and rolls. When I came here with family, ramen with sushi rolls took nearly two hours. Yet, the fish does not taste fresh anymore. The appetizers vary from overcooked to stale tasting, but used to be a great start to the meal (maybe I caught them on an off-day; the edamame was still good). The water has a strange, musky, heavy taste. They may forget parts of your order seemingly at random - at one occasion, all of our appetizers got lost somehow. The first time I went to Mikoto, I was indeed charged for leftover food. Honestly, I think this is a great policy for buffets to prevent food waste. They were very reasonable about it, as seen in my 2019 receipt. That $3 charge was for about half a roll. However, what really turned me off Mikoto was during my last visit, when cockroaches scuttled onto the table. You can see a small one land on my napkin. Our waiters casually mentioned that they were spraying the place down and just moved us to another table. I haven't been back since then. One day, I might return to Mikoto to satisfy a craving for cheap sushi that comes up once in a while. Except, it's really getting more expensive. I'll keep an eye out to see if reviews improve.

Tried the ramen, vegetable fried rice and banana tempura dessert. A great meal overall! The staff was very friendly and it was pretty quiet but filled up as the evening went by.They gave me the happy hour menu which I was surprised by since it was Saturday. I didn't have a taste for sushi or any of the appetizers, but you can't beat $4 sushi, so I will be back! The ramen was pretty good! It came out super hot but it was delicious. Got a little salty but overall it was delicious. My favorite was actually the vegetable fried rice. Probably one of the best I've had in houston so far! It had broccoli, carrots, onions, egg and zucchini. Also, the picture doesn't do it justice but it's a huge portion! Since it's in the shape of a bowl, it keeps it's heat so it stayed hotter longer.I decided to top it off with the banana tempura. Beautiful presentation! And the bananas and ice cream was delicious. This was a great choice for dinner.

Ramen Jin is tucked inside a little shopping center with plenty of parking. The Houston weather turned drizzly, so I got a ramen craving and popped in on a whim. There seem to have been a good amount of diners judging by the number of uncleared bowls on the tables. This is an order-at-the-counter restaurant, so I'm, not sure how they didn't have the staff to clear away the dirty dishes. Especially since it really limited our seating options.Ordering at the counter was quick and easy. The cashier was able to tell me the toppings that come with the tonkotsu ramen (chasu, wood ear mushrooms, scallions, and a ramen egg). I would have loved more included toppings or at least listed prices on the additional topping options rather than "prices vary". I felt very full after finishing almost my entire bowl, so I definitely didn't *need* the extra toppings. I think my jaw dropped after my first sip of the tonkotsu broth - I'm amazed at how rich and flavorful it was. I almost exclusively order tonkotsu whenever I visit ramen restaurants, so I was happily surprised.

"I was drawn to this restaurant right away from the photos of the to go boxes. I am completely blown away by how fancy these were (a little suitcase for my beef noodle soup?!?!...and not only a suitcase, but little compartments for each little side dish that came with it). This creative packaging hits the spot for a graphic designer eye. I love how they had very unique side dishes that came with some of the dishes. Each was a very small amount, but loved that they included things like seaweed salad, which was a huge plus for me.The food itself was good, but I am sure that the presentation elevated the meal for me. That being said, I'm still giving this restaurant 4 stars. The menu is HUGE (pretty much all diff genres of different asian food), and I only tried a handful of items, so I'm still intrigued enough to come back to try more. Oh also, they are still not open for Dine In. And also a bit understaffed. Hope they get more staff or open up for dine in soon! Some items I tried:- Beef noodle soup: Loved the presentation. It included HUGE pieces of meat. The noodle texture was PERFECT, a good amount of chew. Reminded me of handmade noodles. But the soup was slightly too salty for me. Let's say, I had no desire to drink the soup after eating the contents.- Popcorn chicken: my kids loved this, as always. But after taking this home, (I wish I could have tried this RIGHT after it was cooked) , the outside was still crispy, but the inside was just so tough. Not sure if I had an accurate view of this since I ate it at room temperature (pretty much cold). I have high expectations for my popcorn chicken though. Wish the meat was more tender/soft even after cooling off a bit.- Japanese Chicken Curry: This tasted as I thought it was. Similar to the one we make at home with the curry blocks. Was decent (a hint too spicy for my kids), but nothing too special.- Popcorn Chicken over Minced Pork Rice: Thought we were getting taiwanese braised mince pork AND popcorn chicken over rice. But it pretty much just looked like popcorn chicken over rice. Didn't see anything related to minced pork in there. A little confused and not sure if our order was wrong, but in the end, it still tasted pretty good. This was slightly different from the appetizer popcorn chicken because it has some extra little things in it (possibly some pickled veggies or something) to go with our rice and give it a little kick. I surprisingly enjoyed this dish even though I did not think I'd want to eat popcorn chicken with rice. Thanks for a fun to-go box meal. I'll be back to try more things on the menu next time!"
"Came here on a Friday night, we were immediately seated. We fell in love with this place right away, as the interior layout is so unique and creative, very aesthetically pleasing. We even got our private booth with drapes, really appreciate the privacy as we dine here. Service is incredibly fast and efficient, we got all of our food and drinks within 5 minutes. If this is your first time, I highly recommend the combos: it comes with two drinks (Thai tea and their Amazing Lemonade, both are fantastic), popcorn chicken as the appetizer, two bowls of ramen (Tonkotsu and Miso), and two of their signature desserts (Match pudding and Japanese Cherry Blossom Jelly, beautifully presented). Everything included for at around $52, you get to try everything. It's a great deal you can't miss. Flavors and portion sizes are impeccable, great quality and taste! Definitely worth a visit."
"Aiya Sushi & Ramen is a cute little spot in the middle of a strip mall. Once you walk in it's easy to forget what's outside. It's a nice escape. The decor is nice. The 'orchids' at the table are beautiful, but they are not edible because they are not real. It's okay, they look pretty. The light fixtures are quite nice.I ordered Sashimi B, which is 15 pieces of chef's choice sashimi. It came with Miso Soup. The soup was brimming with tofu and seaweed. It was tasty. The sashimi was good. It's easy to judge the quality of a sushi restaurant by their sashimi. Every bite was very good. Not the best sashimi I've ever had, but it was fresh and tasty. Definitely above average.Everyone enjoyed their meal. When we come back to visit my sister, I will ask if we can come back ti Aiya Sushi & Ramen.Count the number of times I use the word "nice". I need to try harder! LOL"
"Once a quiet, but now bustling spot for food and drinks. The food ranges from sushi, skewers, small dishes, to rice bowls and ramen. Perfect place to snack or grab a full-on hearty meal. My favorite thing to order has to be the Takowasa, wasabi marinated raw octopus. It's not for everyone, but worth a try for the adventurous ones. Drinks are just as amazing. Full bar + emphasis on Japanese Liquors (whiskey, sake, etc). They just recently added a couple cocktails and of course I had to try them all. They're highlighted in red font on the menu and they all are light, fruity, refreshing. The one thing that could elevate the bar is to have big ice blocks for whiskey. Service is good. Servers are friendly and I've never had an issue. Drinks do tend to take a while to come out when it's a full house though. Note: The majority of your party needs to be present to be sat & no outside water bottles allowed."
"My friend Sue loves this place, and if you know Sue she has good taste, so you should take her word for it.Get it? Sue, she? No?No.We're both big fans of Mochi Sushi and it's hard not to be because they make good products which are delicious and not too horribly expensive. It's a really cute store name as well because we have a cat named Mochi. He's one of our first-ever cats, and the first one that I adopted from the streets of Houston.Anyway, we've only been here once so far, but we're big fans. There will definitely be a second time, at which point I'll expand the review more thoroughly."
"Met up here with a friend for some ramen happiness, and they did not disappoint! While there are a plethora of ramen places around town, this one takes the cake for me.For one, their ramen is reasonably priced. I've seen some outrageous prices for ramen around town. Here, for $12, one can get a great bowl of miso, shoryu, or tonkatsu ramen. Of course, one can add on additional toppings to one's liking. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it was very enjoyable. I love little texture and flavor components to this dish, the star of the show being the dreamy melt in your mouth chasu. They offer sushi and skewers here as well, which is nice if you're desiring something else. It was a bit dead when I came here for dinner on a weekday."
"Why 3 stars? Because it deeply saddens me, but I was not a fan of most of the food. --- --- ---At the end of a recent tear through many of my bookmarked places, I was very excited to come here. I strategically waited for the weather to cool down so that the ramen would taste even better. So the cold front came and we made the trek down on the way into Houston. The result, was one I desperately wish was different. We started off with some chicken karaage. It was not bad. 3.5-stars.I really wanted to try some of the skewers but stuck to just one, the pork belly. It was okay but a bit of a let down considering how many people loved it in their reviews. 3-stars.Then we get the ramen. I ordered Tonkotsu and the wife went with a Miso. It's hard to imagine a bigger disappointment. I didn't realize that I needed to request egg noodles (my fault) because that's what my wife had, while mine did not. Her noodles were good, not great, but I did not think any other aspect of either of these dishes was done well. The flavor of the broth, the meat, etc - it all added up to one of the worst meals I've had in 2022. Ugh, I hate even writing that. 2-stars.For dessert we had ice cream and mochi and that was a nice way to finish off the meal. The ice cream had these little cookies in it that were a great compliment. 4.5-stars.I am rounding up from 2-stars to 3 because the man who was kind of doing everything (food running, serving and schmoozing) was awesome. He was not only friendly and attentive to us, but he was interacting with our son a lot and helping him get into a better mood, something desperately needed because he was grouchy and temperamental throughout the day. I noticed he seemed to have a great rapport with many regular customers and he could teach a master class on front-of-house management. That's why I hate writing a negative review so much, but I do always want to be honest and I came away quite disappointed on the food-front here."
"Came here with my cousin for lunch on a Wednesday. I had been to another Airi Ramen, so I wanted to check this one out! Just like the Airi Ramen location, this one had great staff and food! We started with some edamame while waiting for our ramen, and it was the perfect start to our meal, nice and hot with just the right hint of salt. Our ramen came out quickly and was delicous. The wonton ramen had a lot of wontons, and they had a nice and juicy chicken filling. This location is a bit bigger than the other one I have been to. It had beautiful lantern decorations"
"1. Service - our waitress was very attentive. She filled our drinks and came by often to check on us. Keep up the great work! This is an A-La-carte style restaurant. You wait to be seated, order at the table, pay at the front whenever you're ready to go.2. Price - This ranges from $11 to $16 a bowl. 3. Ambiance - this place looks very appealing and cozy. It doesn't feel like your typical Vietnamese pho restaurant in Houston. I like the way they designed the place. This is a good place to meet with friends and family, but don't bring a huge party more than 10. They don't have the space. Sure you can put all the tables together to sit 10+, but it can be a wait. They're often quite occupied. The smaller the group, the likelier to get a table. Dress code here is casual. 4. Food - So this place serves a bowl of noodles, however it is not pho! Pho is just rice noodles with beef broth. This place mainly serves egg noodles (yellow noodles) with pork broth. However, they do have rice noodles if you prefer. They serve noodles here with soup or without. You can eat with pork, beef, chicken, and their regular broth or with stew. I had their MI GO which is just Egg Noodles, Pork Broth, Pork, and some condiments. The broth is a little sweet to my liking, but it was still good. I think the broth may be cooked with some rock sugar. I'll have to try something else next time. Oh and must try their FRIED FISH BALLS. Those were out of this world! You won't regret it.5. Cleanliness - Dining area and restroom appears clean. No complaints. Although my bowl wasn't exactly the way I wanted, I had a great experience. I recommend this place and would definitely try again."
"Chill spot in Katy, got seated immediately. Lychee martini was to die for. My friend got the mango martini she loved it. I got the mafia role which was amazing, a bit saucy but delish. The spicy girl was a 6 piece roll I actually loved the crunch of it. A bit spicy but I would def order that again.Parking is free, I will be back.- they also have karaoke outside I don't know which days"
"We have passed this place in several occasions and relieved we have to stop in. First, the ambience was a nice trendy setting reminds you of some of those places you see on TV as far as a ramen shop or not back at sushi shop service was excellent wasn't very crowded. We had about two people waiting on us starting off with the takoyaki I have to admit I really like takoyaki there's was excellent your sauce paired with the mayo was excellent and the movable flakes made it almost like you were sit in a coffee shop in Japan, I also had the colorful sushi dish that you see excellent with real caviar on top, each taste bursting with wasabi and fresh ginger on the side excellent pairing recommend this place for anybody and the price is very economical!"
"Wow!! What a great find in the area!! I literally happened to drive by on a Monday and dragged friends for lunch the next day! Quiet Tuesday lunch so there was plenty of seating and Nick our server took great care of us with recommendations and good service! We started with the soup dumplings and they were so good!! We did a family style lunch with wontons, dry spicy popcorn chicken (which was perfectly crisp and had great flavor) and added some crab rangoon! They were equally cheesy and crispy! We also had some spicy chili chow mein and it was full offlavor and just the right kinda spicy! Price point fair for 3 people family style and plenty to take home!Definitely recommend trying this place and look forward to visiting again for some noodles!!"
"Came here for their thanksgiving eve special and it didn't disappoint. This shop is about standard size compared to the others and the flavors are on par to Holcombe location. I got the tamashi menn as always and the soup was very flavorful and the chashu was tender. Also got to try their sushi - it was okay, nothing to write home about. Their ramen is definitely stronger and more unique. I'll definitely return if craving ramen in this area!"
"It has been awhile since I've eaten inside Komeya, I usually order it on DoorDash for pick up. And I was always pleased with the quality of the packaging and the food. Today we decided to dine there. It's a small place but not crowded. The decor is fun and authentic. Our server was so nice and helpful when ordering. Tonight we came for the sushi/ sashimi and rolls. My son ordered ramen as well which he really enjoys. The food also came quickly.I have to say we were not disappointed. The sushi pieces were delicious, quality fish and the slices were generous. Same goes for the sashimi , the salmon , ocean trout, yellow tail were our favorites for sashimi and sushi but they have many selections to choose from.My husband loves the California rolls and the shaggy dog. The Texas roll was yummy as well. We will definitely be back . If you live in the area definitely come and give it a try for ramen and sushi ."
"I visited here on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at 120pm. Yoshi was empty. It seemed that they were done with busy lunchtime. I ordered a sushi lunch with miso soup. The Miso soup was okay. Regarding sushi, to my surprise, it was excellent. I wanna write improvements. The chef constantly touched his mobile phone before cooking. I was not sure if he washed his hands. there were a lot of germs on the cell phone. Hope he washed his hands. When the chef or server uses the phone, please hide and use it.Overall, it was a small mom-and-pop restaurant, but i gave 5 stars."
"I finally visited this ramen and kushiyaki spot owned by my fav hh place in the woodlands, fukuda. Here, they have various ramen, several apps, 19 diff skewers, donburi, and even bun.By the register, they sell many different Japanese dry goods like potato chips, crackers and pocky. Around the corner, they also even have ice cream and refrigerated goods.I tried the baby octopus skewer, classic tonkotsu and the Kakumi old fashioned. The baby octopus was really good, and my fav ramen was the #1 Kasumi by far. If you like garlic, this one is for you. It even has bok choy in it. 3 slices of pork, so its a pretty filling bowl."
"Yellowtail Sushi & Ramen is literally a hidden gem. Their location is hidden from the main road, so if you never drive down Country Place you would never know they existed. They have THE BEST and FRESHEST nigiri/sashimi in Pearland. Certain pieces are imported from Japan (no one else in Pearland does this) The masu salmon melts in your mouth. The amaebi shrimp was amazing, the heads are lightly fried. They have the best eel sushi as well. It comes out slightly warm and crisp, never had anything like it. All sushi pieces are sliced on the larger side.If you frequent Uchi or Kata Robata, this place is for you! You would appreciate this.If you don't eat sushi, their ramen is solid. My go to is the original tonkotsu. Highly recommend this restaurant!Check their website for hours because they are closed on certain days and times."
"Why 5 stars? Because this ramen was everything I hoped for. --- --- ---I was craving ramen and wanted to stop by here before the weather warmed up. The problem is: it's a 40 minute drive from my house. Still, I was determined to make it happen, so I finally just got in the car and made the trek. Was I feeling silly about 10 minutes into this journey? Yes, but I planned to make a couple of other stops in the area to make the drive worthwhile.I arrived and someone took my order before I could even gather myself. I knew in advance what I wanted, so I was fortunately ready. In what felt like less than 2 minutes, my order of Tonkotsu ramen and my Japanese soda had arrived. Both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, top 5 ramen that I've ever had.Even if this was my only stop, it would have been worth it. What I was hoping for was exactly what this was and I will definitely stop in here again next time I'm in the area, whether it's summer or not."
"What a treat! The service, vibe, cleanliness, and food were all solid.I got the spicy Naka ramen and I'm so glad I did. It definitely wasn't too spicy (I'm someone who needs water with hot cheetos 3 chips in lol) but it hurt when it went down the wrong pipe lol. Noodles were awesome but the chashu was the true star. So unforgettably tender and juicy. That carried this review to four stars undoubtedly. The egg was pretty good just a bit too salty from the ramen eggs I usually prefer I think the only thing that threw me off was the spice- it didn't seem to have those traditional Japanese spice flavors but still palatable. I'd order again but wish there was that balance of the umamami sweet heat I'm used to having in spicy japanese dishesI'd definitely go again. Bonus the bowls are so cool and huge! I just enjoyed even looking at them lol"
"4 stars for the food but I had to deduct 1 star & I'll explain why towards the end of the review. The decor was nice, the inside was cozy & overall pretty clean for the most part. I decided to get the seaweed salad as an appetizer & the spicy tonkotsu ramen as the main course. I'll start with the salad, horrible presentation, plating looked rushed & sloppy but taste wise, I'll say it was textbook good. My tonkostu was solid, flavors were there in the broth & I got the numbness from the spice. The chashu pork was not tendered as how I would have liked it but everything else in the bowl was fine. Alright, now I'll explain why it's a 3 stars instead of a 4. Everyone seem overwhelmed & you can see it on their faces. My server was cleaning something that was dropped on the floor with a rag & didn't wash her hands after she was finished & then she brought the salad to me. Granted she touch the plate & not the food itself but whenever you're cleaning something especially if it's on the ground, wash your hands. Overall food was good & service was fine. Will I come back? Yeah."
