"I rarely review for takeout/delivery (UberEats in this case) because I'm not getting the full experience. However, the sushi was tasty! Let's get into the deets:Sunomono Salad w/ Shrimp- Very light and refreshing. Minor complaint: the cucumber was unevenly sliced. Some were paper thin, some were thick. Baked Scallop Roll- Still warm when I received it. I enjoyed the spicy kick. Loved that they didn't skimp on the scallops.Foie Gras & Scallop Sushi- This was THEE star of the order! Divine richness melting in your mouth... MMmmM. If it wasn't 7.95 per piece (UberEats listed price), I'd order much more. Life's too short to eat basic weekday dinner!! Lol. Now I definitely have to stop in and get the real deal dining experience. Can't wait!"
"Why 4 stars? Because everything teetered right on the edge of great. --- --- ---So much of what we experienced here was good, but just slightly missed the mark of causing me to exhibit poor manners in the form of mumbling OMG with a mouth full of food involuntarily because I couldn't help but acknowledge the greatness. We started off with the Monkey Brains appetizer. I think it was fine, but wouldn't need to order it again. It was essentially a sushi roll that was very avocado heavy. 3.5 stars. My wife ordered the "Sushi A" lunch, which consisted of 5 piece of chef's choice nigiri and one roll, and we chose the Spider Roll. The Spider Roll is normally a pretty safe choice, but tbh, we did not love it. There was a lot of daikon in it and I prefer these without the soy paper. As for the Spider Roll itself, I would give it maybe 2.5 stars. And most of the Nigiri was fine: 4-stars. BUT, one piece was one of the best I have ever had. I actually ordered a second piece because I was so blown away: the Super White Fish (Escolar) was unbelievable. It tasted like butter fish at Roy's, but in nigiri form. 5 stars is not giving it enough credit. We ordered two other rolls: The Temptation and the Lion King. We enjoyed both, but again, they were just one note shy of amazing. 4.5 stars. Also, shoutout to the kids chicken teriyaki meal. I was snacking off of that myself and really enjoyed it. Even the fries were high quality. 5 stars for a kids meal.We walked in exactly the minute that they opened on a Saturday, so we were the only ones in here for a bit, but the service was prompt and friendly the entire time.We don't live in the area, and there's a lot of competition nearby when it comes to sushi, but this is definitely not a bad option!"

"It was good and needed in the area. I remember checking almost religiously for them to finally open and the time has come. Our server was really sweet, it was towards the end of the night and we were her last table so we didn't get a name but. The chef came out to see if we liked everything as well which was a wonderful touch. We got the spicy edamame which is flavorful but not spicy and my 4 yr old enjoyed those with me. 5/5Lobster bao I was really excited to try this but the meat although big pieces were a bit mushy and fishy tasting. Everything on it was fresh and it had potential with better quality meat. 3.5/5Spicy beef ramen unlike the edamame this was super spicy, my mistake and I had to request extra broth to turn down the heat, but it was delicious. 5/5And kudos for offering kids ramen bowls, my little usually gets her own adult bowl so she was mad, but she also didn't finish the entire kids bowl. She really enjoyed it and was quiet the whole time eating her ramen. 5/5I can't wait to try the yakitori at some point!"
"Killer Noodle Tsujita is a ramen restaurant in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, Texas. The concept was started by Takehiro Tsujita who had success in Tokyo, Japan with his restaurant, Seito Masamune Tantanmen Tsujita, in 2003 and has since expanded to 18 restaurants across Japan. Tsujita wanted to bring forth a new ramen into the American community that would not be as heavy in comparison with their popular tsukemen soup (something even children could enjoy). He came up with "Killer Noodle Tsujita" in Los Angeles, California in 2017. Killer Noodle Tsujita features a style of ramen called tan tan men, which is Chinese in origin. The restaurant's signature dishes incorporate dan dan noodles with peanut butter, sesame, and Sichuan spice in the broth. It's definitely a unique style of ramen, but they also have the classics like Tonkatsu, Miso, and Chicken ramen. The restaurant itself has a private parking lot and multiple tables inside with a bar. They even have a section dedicated to toy claw machines where you can spend a dollar per chance to win![RAMEN]+Tokyo (signature dan dan - chicken/pork broth, chili oil, Sichuan peppercorn, sesame sauce, peanut butter, vinegar, white sesame, beansprout, nikumiso, cashew, green onion, and soft boiled egg) for $15.50 - From first sip of the broth, I tasted spice, peanut butter, and sesame. This was a new experience for me. Although I enjoyed it, I would prefer a classic ramen. - 4/5Overall, Killer Noodle Tsujita was a new type of ramen experience for me. Personally, I have never tried peanut butter in my ramen broth, but it was surprisingly pretty good. I do prefer classic ramen, but I would still recommend the experience to others if they wanted to mix things up!"
"Finally decided to give this place a shot, so we came here after church. It was nicely themed like a typical ramen shop and very clean. Our waitress was really nice and was kind enough to tell us all the specials when we didn't know what we were going to order. We ordered some appetizers which were the takoyaki and the spicy salmon tacos. I also noticed that they had a small menu for sushi rolls, as well, however we decided not to order any this time around. Maybe next time! The takoyaki was really good. The outside was lightly crisped and the inside was just filled with delicious seafood creaminess. They also weren't so piping hot that we couldn't just stuff our face with it right away like other places, where it's just so hot we burn ourselves. The spicy salmon tacos were also very delicious. It was lightly crisped and with the pickled vegetables, it really paired well. Finally, onto the main course: I ordered the shoyu ramen and my boyfriend ordered the tonkotsu ramen. The broth was very flavorful and not too salty. The noodles had a good 'bite' to them and the pork chashu was very tender. It was overall a really good experience and I do plan on coming back to try out their sushi menu next, as well as their rice bowls!"
"I visited here on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at 120pm. Yoshi was empty. It seemed that they were done with busy lunchtime. I ordered a sushi lunch with miso soup. The Miso soup was okay. Regarding sushi, to my surprise, it was excellent. I wanna write improvements. The chef constantly touched his mobile phone before cooking. I was not sure if he washed his hands. there were a lot of germs on the cell phone. Hope he washed his hands. When the chef or server uses the phone, please hide and use it.Overall, it was a small mom-and-pop restaurant, but i gave 5 stars."
"It has been awhile since I've eaten inside Komeya, I usually order it on DoorDash for pick up. And I was always pleased with the quality of the packaging and the food. Today we decided to dine there. It's a small place but not crowded. The decor is fun and authentic. Our server was so nice and helpful when ordering. Tonight we came for the sushi/ sashimi and rolls. My son ordered ramen as well which he really enjoys. The food also came quickly.I have to say we were not disappointed. The sushi pieces were delicious, quality fish and the slices were generous. Same goes for the sashimi , the salmon , ocean trout, yellow tail were our favorites for sashimi and sushi but they have many selections to choose from.My husband loves the California rolls and the shaggy dog. The Texas roll was yummy as well. We will definitely be back . If you live in the area definitely come and give it a try for ramen and sushi ."
"What a treat! The service, vibe, cleanliness, and food were all solid.I got the spicy Naka ramen and I'm so glad I did. It definitely wasn't too spicy (I'm someone who needs water with hot cheetos 3 chips in lol) but it hurt when it went down the wrong pipe lol. Noodles were awesome but the chashu was the true star. So unforgettably tender and juicy. That carried this review to four stars undoubtedly. The egg was pretty good just a bit too salty from the ramen eggs I usually prefer I think the only thing that threw me off was the spice- it didn't seem to have those traditional Japanese spice flavors but still palatable. I'd order again but wish there was that balance of the umamami sweet heat I'm used to having in spicy japanese dishesI'd definitely go again. Bonus the bowls are so cool and huge! I just enjoyed even looking at them lol"
"I had to check it out after reading the numerous of positive reviews. Went in on a Friday night and was sat immediately. The place is on the smaller side but very intimate. The food presentation was wonderful and the service was great. It will be one of my new go to sushi spots. Conveniently located in a shopping center place. Edamame is also on the house!"
"4 stars for the food but I had to deduct 1 star & I'll explain why towards the end of the review. The decor was nice, the inside was cozy & overall pretty clean for the most part. I decided to get the seaweed salad as an appetizer & the spicy tonkotsu ramen as the main course. I'll start with the salad, horrible presentation, plating looked rushed & sloppy but taste wise, I'll say it was textbook good. My tonkostu was solid, flavors were there in the broth & I got the numbness from the spice. The chashu pork was not tendered as how I would have liked it but everything else in the bowl was fine. Alright, now I'll explain why it's a 3 stars instead of a 4. Everyone seem overwhelmed & you can see it on their faces. My server was cleaning something that was dropped on the floor with a rag & didn't wash her hands after she was finished & then she brought the salad to me. Granted she touch the plate & not the food itself but whenever you're cleaning something especially if it's on the ground, wash your hands. Overall food was good & service was fine. Will I come back? Yeah."

Tried the ramen, vegetable fried rice and banana tempura dessert. A great meal overall! The staff was very friendly and it was pretty quiet but filled up as the evening went by.They gave me the happy hour menu which I was surprised by since it was Saturday. I didn't have a taste for sushi or any of the appetizers, but you can't beat $4 sushi, so I will be back! The ramen was pretty good! It came out super hot but it was delicious. Got a little salty but overall it was delicious. My favorite was actually the vegetable fried rice. Probably one of the best I've had in houston so far! It had broccoli, carrots, onions, egg and zucchini. Also, the picture doesn't do it justice but it's a huge portion! Since it's in the shape of a bowl, it keeps it's heat so it stayed hotter longer.I decided to top it off with the banana tempura. Beautiful presentation! And the bananas and ice cream was delicious. This was a great choice for dinner.

The food at this place is mind blowing. It was highly recommended by a sushi lover. Every item we tried was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We even topped it off with some mochi! The ambiance is nice but the place is small, so for larger parties I'd call ahead. Service was great but a tad bit slow - either they need to hire more servers or someone may have called in sick. Will definitely be coming back.

Came here tonight for a late dinner after a day of travel. Everything was amazing from the food to the service they knocked it out the park. They have a rather large menu and I only posted portions of it.The ramen was great! Lots of flavor! Ordered soup dumplings and they did not disappoint. We got a couple of side salads and the dressing was great. I would defn come back to this neighborhood gem. Located by the Whole Foods off of Louetta and Cutten. Lots of parking. Cute little Instagramable place if you're into that stuff. Lol

The restaurant name caught my eye and was the perfect hot ramen spot for a chilly weekend! The front parking lot is small but you may be able to find some spots nearby. arrived for an early dinner (~6pm) and were seated right away. For appetizers, the spicy chicken buns were so tasty and good! The ramen portions did not seem as large as I remember from most places, but they were solid. We ordered the Tonkotsu - deluxe to get extra meat and egg. Love a good gooey egg with a bowl of ramen. I also wanted to order Dan Dan noodles but did not want to overload my stomach, so will have to save for next time. I instead ordered a Handroll Trio with Spicy Tuna, Unagi, and Popcorn Shrimp - did not expect the Popcorn Shrimp to be my favorite but it was the best one. In terms of price however the hand rolls were probably the least bang for buck. Fun trendy spot - we will be back again soon!

We visited Master x ramen for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant space is easy to find and there is parking right out front. The area is shared with other restaurants so you may have to park a short distance away. Thankfully we were very lucky to find a spot right in front. The restaurant itself is very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed:- Pan fried gyoza- Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen customized with our selection of extra toppings- Shredded coconut cake (reminded me of puertorican tembleque which we love)We will definitely be back. I recommend that you stop in and give them a try.

Overall impression: kind of just okAverage price:15-25/person FoodMy ramen was just okay. Nothing special. The edamame tasted a tad bit old. The chirashi cuts were pretty bad. Looked like they were done with a hacksaw. And the quality was not great. Ambience:Nothing wrong with thisService:We had a server that didn't seem to be that great with people. He also didn't seem to know much about the menu and couldn't answer any questions very well. ValueAs you can tell from above, not too impressed.

"Wow!! What a great find in the area!! I literally happened to drive by on a Monday and dragged friends for lunch the next day! Quiet Tuesday lunch so there was plenty of seating and Nick our server took great care of us with recommendations and good service! We started with the soup dumplings and they were so good!! We did a family style lunch with wontons, dry spicy popcorn chicken (which was perfectly crisp and had great flavor) and added some crab rangoon! They were equally cheesy and crispy! We also had some spicy chili chow mein and it was full offlavor and just the right kinda spicy! Price point fair for 3 people family style and plenty to take home!Definitely recommend trying this place and look forward to visiting again for some noodles!!"
"Fast service. Friendly staff and owners. Great food and nice selection of ingredients. Online order is simple and fast."
"Met up here with a friend for some ramen happiness, and they did not disappoint! While there are a plethora of ramen places around town, this one takes the cake for me.For one, their ramen is reasonably priced. I've seen some outrageous prices for ramen around town. Here, for $12, one can get a great bowl of miso, shoryu, or tonkatsu ramen. Of course, one can add on additional toppings to one's liking. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, and it was very enjoyable. I love little texture and flavor components to this dish, the star of the show being the dreamy melt in your mouth chasu. They offer sushi and skewers here as well, which is nice if you're desiring something else. It was a bit dead when I came here for dinner on a weekday."
"Food and service were both very good. Wish I remembered the names of the dishes that I ordered. Highly recommend JINYA for all your ramen needs!"
"I've been here before COVID pandemic and it's been awhile to get back!I had a bowl of vegan noodle and it was pretty good! I like the fact that vegan people can come and enjoy the delicious ramen noodle made of spinach! The waiter is pretty attentive and supportive for my order! Only cons I could say is that they don't have soy sauce or spicy sauce/oil at the table so when I got an extra bowl of noodles it got lessen saltiness... But I had a good time overall! I can come back when I'm around here again!Try this place out!Cheers"
"I have drove by Domoishi many times when I shop at Royal Oaks H-E-B. I only noticed it recent month. One day, I walked in and saw the friendly menu items smiling at me. I couldn't resist to try something. This restaurant is actually the second one in Houston, UH has it before here. The small footprint reminds me of campus-style food vendor. Talking about all-in-one fast-food joint, they serve Hawaiian poké, Japanese Ramen & rice bowls, Taiwanese boba teas and other finger food, including my favorite Korean style wings.I couldn't find any other places that serves all my favorites at one location. I feel home away from home, Domoishi has become a must-have during my grocery shopping trip.I had a quick chat with the manager. I heard the company is expanding and we're going to see more Domoishi in Houston area in coming years. This chain originated in Richmond Virginia in 2019 by restauranteur Sam Huang, who also founded Sushi King. I like the concept and uniform interior style. You can order at the cashier, self-serve counter, or from an app. My food is normally takeout. I rarely sit in there because I would want to order more food. My favorite is the Poké Bowl. There are so many different ways to make the bowl. They are equally delicious. The shrimps are bigger than other poké restaurants that I've been. They tasted natural and no additive. Rices are cooked perfectly for me. The prices are reasonable for this economy. Food quality and customer service exceeded my normal experience from Houston Chinatown."
"Who's ready for ramen and boba?? What an incredible combination to have a perfect marriage of ramen and boba!! They even have vegetarian and gluten free option!! This place is in the heart of Katy community and we love it. They have an amazing decor, modern Asian theme, super friendly workers and the best is the food...a bonus is wifi!! Great place to hang out, study, grab a refreshing drink or drinks and enjoy the food! Come support these local businesses! Chow Chow Time!!"
"I was actually pleasantly surprised by the place. Where it's located it doesn't look like it'd be really nice on the inside, but it really is. I went there for lunch with a group from work for someone birthday one day. There was about 10 of us there. The restaurant isn't very big on the inside, but they do have a few long tables that will seat a larger party. They have some pretty good lunch specials. I got the one with one sushi roll and the ramen.California Roll - I got mine with soy paper ($1 extra) - It was pretty good for a California roll. I usually rate a sushi place on how well they can do a California roll. They pass for sure.Ramen - The broth was really good. Probably some of the best that I've had in Houston. Everything in the ramen tasted fresh and was well prepared.I was happy that they had soy paper, and was ok with paying extra for it. And knowing that the California roll tasted fresh and was well prepared, I'll be back to try the other sushi too. I'll also be going back for that ramen."
"My friend Sue loves this place, and if you know Sue she has good taste, so you should take her word for it.Get it? Sue, she? No?No.We're both big fans of Mochi Sushi and it's hard not to be because they make good products which are delicious and not too horribly expensive. It's a really cute store name as well because we have a cat named Mochi. He's one of our first-ever cats, and the first one that I adopted from the streets of Houston.Anyway, we've only been here once so far, but we're big fans. There will definitely be a second time, at which point I'll expand the review more thoroughly."
"There are 2 sushi restaurants right across the street from another in this location, but this one was open for lunch and the other one isn't. So I visited here on a Monday for lunch and although there were only 2 other customers, it was sort of slow. They do play upbeat music in the background but the vibe was fairly quiet/dismal during this time. Maybe it would be better in the evening with more customers. After briefly looking at the menu, it was easy to see their prices are reasonable, especially for appetizers. I ordered the yellowtail jalapeno and tonkotsu black ramen.First out was the app, which were 6 thinly sliced yellowtail each with a slice of jalapeno and sriracha over green onions in a ponzu sauce. They were delicious and not to mention a pretty good deal. Supposed to come with kimchi, but thats fine, I didn't complain. Then came the ramen, also fairly quickly to the table and it was a nicely sized bowl. There were 3 pork slices in the bowl and a half egg, with all the other accompaniments (fish cake, green onions, seaweed, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, etc.) . The broth was thick and filling and tasted pretty good. For the price, I am guessing this is probably the best ramen in NE Houston by far. And not a bad price either.Looking forward to my next visit on another weekday lunch since they're close enough to my work I can make it here."
"I think im adding this restaurant to my rotation, i really like everything about the place is small but cozy and peaceful. All the food was great, my only wish it that they had more drinks available, they have a big alcohol menu but for non acoholic beverages nothing stands out as special"
"Black Garlic Ramen 10/10. It was filling and perfect amount of noodles. I got the combo with octopus balls and those were 10/10 highly recommended as well! It was a quick in and out meal. The 3 of us were in and out in less than an hour. We all ordered the combo (got one of each of the side options). Their version of the boneless chicken is amazing with the dipping sauce!"
"This is my 2nd time here and the food is delicious! I love their poke bowls and the chicken karaage is so good. Great service! Good selection of beer!"
"Small place with a traditional Japanese feel. Parking can be an issue. Service was good. Hands down the best Ramen I have had in Houston. Tamashi's ramen did not tasty overly salty or leave some weird film in my mouth like some of the other popular ramen spots in town. Theirs tasted more homemade than many that I have tried. Pro Tip: Ask for some of their hot sauce/chili paste it has a great flavor and heat.Tonkotsu, $10.75: Nice portion with a rich bone broth. The flavor was deep and rich. All the ingredients were top notch. Would highly recommend.Tamashi's Menn, $11.75: Broth was also rich in flavor like the Tonkotsu. the shrimp were nicely cooked. Chicken Karaage, $6.50: Chicken thighs battered and fried in a crispy coating. Great appetizer especially for those that are not super adventurous. Can't say enough about the quality of the ingredients and the price of the food here. Would highly recommend and return."
"Why 5 stars? Because this ramen was everything I hoped for. --- --- ---I was craving ramen and wanted to stop by here before the weather warmed up. The problem is: it's a 40 minute drive from my house. Still, I was determined to make it happen, so I finally just got in the car and made the trek. Was I feeling silly about 10 minutes into this journey? Yes, but I planned to make a couple of other stops in the area to make the drive worthwhile.I arrived and someone took my order before I could even gather myself. I knew in advance what I wanted, so I was fortunately ready. In what felt like less than 2 minutes, my order of Tonkotsu ramen and my Japanese soda had arrived. Both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, top 5 ramen that I've ever had.Even if this was my only stop, it would have been worth it. What I was hoping for was exactly what this was and I will definitely stop in here again next time I'm in the area, whether it's summer or not."
"Though the reviews indicate that this restaurant is known for its sushi, we went there in search of ramen, and were not disappointed in our find.We ordered the spicy miso ramen, the spicy tonkatsu ramen, and the steak ramen with extra garlic. Also, edamame for an appetizer. The service was quick and friendly. We were there about an hour before closing, and it was almost empty. The location of the restaurant is such that I had never seen it before, even having driven past it more than a few times. This may account for the small number of customers we saw, or it could have just been a strange time - 8 PM on a Sunday night.I will be going back soon to try their sushi!"
"Came here for their thanksgiving eve special and it didn't disappoint. This shop is about standard size compared to the others and the flavors are on par to Holcombe location. I got the tamashi menn as always and the soup was very flavorful and the chashu was tender. Also got to try their sushi - it was okay, nothing to write home about. Their ramen is definitely stronger and more unique. I'll definitely return if craving ramen in this area!"
"My family and I came here for dinner because it was close to where my dad lives and the price is good for the quality of the sushi and great service. Great new Japanese restaurant."
"First time going to an AYCE Sushi place and so glad it was from Sushi Haya! I heard about their Tomball location first but the cypress location is less than 3 miles from my house! My husband and some of my friends and I came on a Friday during lent season. We really wanted to try this place but they said it was an hour to an hour and fifteen min wait. We only waited for less than 20 mins and we got a table! Alyssa is absolutely the sweetest server! She was highly attentive to our needs and made excellent recommendations. Sushi was fresh and my favorite was the eel. The restaurant was very clean and their music selection was awesome! I knew every song! They even let us have some fun and try the pikachu costume."
"A pretty good concept, loved the art the setting and the whole vibe of the staff. We came for happy hour, so we got some buns and then ramen, the ramen was very soupy and the broth was amazing, I think the meat was really flavorful but it wasn't the best one I;ve had, the buns those were amazing!!! need to come back soon to try other things on the menu, but will add it to my ramen spots.++++++++++(order the JINYA bun and ask for crispy chili oil)+++++++++++"
"Chill spot in Katy, got seated immediately. Lychee martini was to die for. My friend got the mango martini she loved it. I got the mafia role which was amazing, a bit saucy but delish. The spicy girl was a 6 piece roll I actually loved the crunch of it. A bit spicy but I would def order that again.Parking is free, I will be back.- they also have karaoke outside I don't know which days"
