That's the way you do chicken and fish!The potato salad was also very tasty as well as the macaroni and cheese was creamy and tasted of grilled cheese flavors the noodles are very large elbow noodles so lots of cheese can get in between them it was very good I enjoyed this whole dinner and can't wait to have more"

Alan S. "Less than $20 for one of the largest burgers I've seen in a while, fries, and all I can drink iced tea. I had been to another location a few years ago and remembered liking it. So today when it was time for lunch meeting we met here and stuffed ourselves silly. The burger was tasty as well as large, in some ways almost too much so that it fell apart as I was eating it. I had this crazy burger literally I think the name, with like double patty bacon and cheese. It came with fries, surprisingly not a lot of them but plenty for my meal, and a drink as part of a combo for I think $18 plus tax. I probably didn't need such a big burger. As often happens my eyes are bigger than my stomach. However I never let that stop me. The counter service was rather quick, and the place is simple. We took over a booth for over 2 hours, and no one seemed to mind cuz there was plenty of other seating."

I tried Sleepy's on a whim the other day when I was craving a good sandwich, and I have absolutely no regrets! I got the fried shrimp po boy and potato salad and it was all *chef's kiss.* The po boy came out with a good amount of shrimp and was a big enough size to share. The potato salad has a little bit of a mustard taste to it, but I'd recommend giving it a try even if you don't normally love mustard as it was pretty tasty! It was creamy and had just the right amount of potato chunks and tang. Parking was easy to find as the restaurant is located in a big plaza. If you go later in the evening, you might have to wait a while for your food as everything appears to be fried fresh, so call ahead if you want to speed things up.

Checked out this place today for an office lunch and we were pleassntly surprised at the great burgers here. The humongous size of the burgers was intimidating at first, but thanks to a torta style light and fluffy bun, the burgers were not as heavy as they looked. I had the bacon avocado burger with a side of nice and crispy waffles fries, and I scarfed it all down rather quickly. I would definitely come back to try more of their other menu items including the fried fish.

This establishment is very bizarre. The restrooms require you to enter a next door bar and it is unclear who or where the workers are (however, I assume it is part the atmosphere they were hoping to create).However, the food and service completely makes up for it all. The individuals working there were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Although I only had the fries I thoroughly enjoyed them and my family enjoyed their burgers. Definitely worth checking out if you seek a break from the everyday formal restaurant while still desiring good food.

It's been a long minute since I stopped here for dinner. Thinking it has changed by now....NOT! The food is still yummy, Lawd ham mercy! I had the fried red fish and shrimp....delicious! I also ordered the boil shrimp in spicy and yes it was spicy with an awesome aroma and good flavor. Prices went up a lil but that was expected. So happy.

Mother's Day brunch buffet was amazing! We had great service and the food was delicious. My favorite was definitely the prime rib carving station and the ice cream station full of toppings for my kids. We got to sit in the outdoor patio, I was given a complimentary mimosa and from there it was nonstop eating! Afterwards we spent the day at the lagoon. Very memorable day for me!

I ordered the number 12 which included one piece of fish, six oysters, french fries and a salad. That cost less than seven dollars (Jan 2022 prices with inflation!). This would have been much more at Boudreaux's and it taste much better than Boudreaux's. The fish was perfectly fried, not too greasy. The oysters are plump and tasted fresh. The only downside is the hole in the wall atmosphere, which does instill a little fear in you. However after walking past all the burglar bars you are met with good service. If this place were in town I would frequent it at least once a week because I love fried seafood. I was so impatient I finished half the meal while sitting in my car."

It's literally a half of the half. For instance you are only getting three normal pieces when you order a six piece. They do have cocktail sauce if you ask for it. I don't eat tartar so this is great for me."
