"Ain't nothing like a hot bagel! There are a variety of bagels and they are all yummy. Their cream cheeses are also delicious. I have tried their plain, jalapeño, and their chives. All yummy. love their everything bagel and their salt bagel.Their kolaches are also pretty delicious. I love their mini dogs. Their egg and sausage is really good as well. The best part about this place is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly. I just enjoyed their energy. Def planning a future trip!"
"Let there be a bagel shop. Here comes New York Deli. I stopped by after a Passover breakfast meeting at my friend's house. I saw a long line at the parking lot next to the Neighborhood Walking. I couldn't resist to wait like everyone else. Yes, the bagels are a little pricey. But I couldn't find freshly baked bagels in Houston. Nice to see one within reach. While waiting in line, I glanced over at an open door, "Ah a coffee shop". According to an employee, that's a full-service restaurant. He recommended that I swing by one day. Yeah, if I didn't have breakfast,Bagels are decent. I only intended to eat half while driving home. But because they tasted so good, I ate just about everything I bought. Oops. Until then."
"After a Houston Restaurant Weeks lunch next door, I stopped by Bagel Shop factory to buy a half-dozen bagels and a tub of cream cheese. Bagels are my favorite type of bread and you can't beat a New York-style bagel. Parking is a breeze in the complimentary lot. In addition to bagels, they also have some sweets but I didn't dabble. I did appreciate that they had a good variety of bagels . . . your classics including plain, sesame, poppy, everything etc. and some more exotic varieties including French toast. And if we're talking exotic, they even have a rainbow bagel. It tastes just like a plain bagel but it's trippy and looks like a work of art. It's definitely worth trying to say you've done it! Since I can be basic sometimes, I went with the plain cream cheese. If you're more adventurous than I am when it comes to your spreads, they have plenty of other options too.In my book, Bagel Shop Factory is up there as one of the best bagel spots in town!"
"Came here to finally try the bagels after seeing them on Instagram. I had the el matador, which had chorizo on it. It was very yummy and you can tell the bagels are fresh. My friend had the bacon egg & cheese and it was definitely loaded up with bacon. They also have a wide variety of cream cheeses and if you come ealrier to opening they have more types of bagels to choose from. Will definitely be coming back here."
"A bit overpriced but cool cafe space and nice service! I just realized that this business was originally Brazos Bagels - I had heard about the hype online and them selling out at soft opening. I have been wanting to try since, though it looks like there have been some rebranding. Ordered the smoked salmon bagel and breakfast bagel. The cream cheese was a bit too much for me so I'm not sold on the entrees yet. The space is nice and I plan to visit on a day I want to get some work done or grab a casual breakfast!"
"On the way to one of my day adventures I noticed there was a new coffee shop that opened... well, I couldn't just NOT get something. 10% off your first cup when checking in! I had to get the iced latte that I have never tried before which was their honey lavender iced latte. So good! You can taste the lavender with a hint of honey. I would definitely recommend grabbing a cup.. they have a drive through which is super convenient. Will be back!"
"I was anxious to try this new "NY" bagel shop since I haven't found any in the area that I want to go shop regularly... Today I believe I've found one!Their bagels are nice and big, soft in the inside and outside( not like the one it's hard to bite into), chewy just like NY bagels. I got LOX cream cheese, it was very good. They don't have chives in it so I just added some at home. Their prices are reasonable, half dzn + 8oz lox cream cheese was around $17.They had basic flavors of bagels, can't wait to try other ones."
"I moved to TX from New England (primarily MA & CT) so I spent plenty of time eating the superior masterpieces that are NY bagels. I thought I'd be giving them up moving here, but NOPE! This place is the real deal. I have them on my list to visit the actual shop, but this past weekend, I had a nice surprise of meeting them at the Baybrook Farmer's Market. I took home a bunch of everything bagels and the scallion cream cheese; and they beckoned to me the whole way home! The smell was incredible, and the taste even better. I'm looking very forward to writing an updated review after I visit the shop itself. Thank you guys for moving to TX! You've made this southern Yankee very happy!"
"I love bagels but it's tough finding a place that does bagels right in houston. Ive passed this place a couple times now and I figured I would give it a shot. This was hands down the best bagel I've had outside of New York. I got the bacon, egg & cheese with the everything bagel and it was so delicious. So glad I stopped by. The service was very kind and fast. Can't wait to bring my family here!"
"So ..... I forgot to put the bakers in the oven... so Gyros it is! Manny's in Copperfield has been closed for a while so we decided to try Simple Greek gyros in Cypress off Telge Rd. Which is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!Terry, the new owner, greeted me with a smile as I walked in. Looking around at his quaint little shop, it was hard not to smile. It was beautiful and clean. At the front there was a chalk board you could sign/doodle on. On the left side there was a small 5 table seating area, with what looked to be huge seaside silk like painting. The restrooms were in the back. On the right wall there was another huge silk like painting of a Greek column. The kitchen area was small and clean. For dinner we chose the traditional Zeus gyros, a blend of lamb/beef, lightly seasoned, lettuce, tomato, red onion and homemade tzatziki sauce, although there are a few others to choose from. We also got a Zeus gyro platter, that included a salad and side. The Greek salad we chose had romaine lettuce, fresh feta, Kalamata olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions topped with a little dolmade. The vinaigrette dressing was lite and flavorful. We chose the fries topped with fresh feta cheese and oregano, Greek style, as our side. I couldn't pass up the hummus, as it was also fresh made and delicious! Next time, I'm going to have to remember to get some baklava for MrM! As we chatted while our Togo order was made, I discovered Terry not only knows Manny but is long time friends with him! Not hard to believe after eating dinner. Although Terry took over about two months, the menu online, and even the sign above the entrance, have NOT been updated. They NO LONGER SERVE BURGERS, PIZZA, HOTDOGS OR WINGS. Now, it's SIMPLY GREEK food. They do have a pita grilled cheese and chicken fingers, served with fries, on the kids menu."

Vibe- This was my first time at this bagel shop and it was PACKED! I can see it's a popular bagel shop in Houston. There's some seating available inside and there's two tables outside. Customer service- Good.Food/drinks- I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with honey walnut spread: it was yummy!Parking- Honestly the parking was stressful, it's a very tight space. If possible, I would park somewhere and walk over.

Each time i've come to this place they've been so sweet. Service so quick even in the morning when it's busy. Who doesn't love fresh warm bagels? I've pretty much tried every flavor, even the fun colors. Everything is always so fresh. Bagels are never try or stale. The breakfast bagels are big enough to cut in half an eat the other side for lunch lol I'm always stopping if I'm in the area. Yelp on my friends!

This may be the best bagel restaurant in Houston! I've always liked Einstein Bros., but I think this place is superior! We ordered a lox sandwich, a chopped cheese sub, a bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, and one with cucumber dill cream cheese. The servers are friendly and helpful in recommending good combinations. The staff is always moving, as they have a lot of business! Even so, we didn't have to wait too long to get served.A great place for breakfast or lunch!

Love this place! I had an issue and they went above and beyond to make it right. The rainbow bagels are delicious and I highly recommend them! The rainbow bagels with the rainbow cream cheese are delicious!
Visit Restaurant Page"Stopped in here randomly one morning because I had some time to kill and was pleasantly surprised by the bagel sandwich I had. I got the BLT avocado sandwich on an everything bagel. It was HOT and fresh. The bagel was actually really good (which I think is hard to come by in Houston) and the BLT/avocado toppings did not feel nearly as heavy as your typical bacon egg and cheese. The service was good. And the place is so cute with comfy chairs to sit while you wait as well as 4 person tables and two bar style seating areas. Perfect for eating alone, with a friend, or even a small group! If you need a quick breakfast in midtown, check this place out!"
"Richmond has a new location and it's very busy with locals checking them out. I waited in the drive through line for about ten minutes but it was worth it. I hadn't visited an Einstein Bagel restaurant in a few years and was surprised by the menu and quality of food. I ordered the Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich and loved it. I'm a major cinnamon roll fan so I tried theirs and was it good, not very dense with lots of icing. I'm happy to add this fast food option to my quick breakfast searches."
"I appreciate the warmth and comfort of the Bagel Cafe. This place is noticeably the real deal with friendly service, tasty bagels and good coffee.I especially enjoy their cheddar bagel yet find all their options perfectly textured and flavorful. I look forward to returning."
"The German coffee chain has finally made it to the US, with Bellaire as it's firs tlocation in North America. Currently there is only one other location, which is in Katy. It's not a particularly large spot and not exactly the most convenient with its semi-tight parking and easy-to-miss sign due to the cluster of businesses sandwiched in the 4900 building on Bissonnet. Yet they're semi-new as of this summer and making good strides overall for the neighborhood. My appreciation goes beyond the drinks. Let me count the ways::: The drinks are typical, but well made. There are the usual coffee classics that include cortados, cappuccinos, lattes, and the like. They make a mean chai matcha latte and I think their cold brew also merits a thumbs up. I have yet to try the smoothies, which will be my next thirsty conquest.:: There are also a number of atypical items that were listed as summer specials the last time I was in. I am not against the frappiatos, despite their likeness to frappuccinos and think they're probably the sweetest drinks on the menu. The homemade soft drinks are very intriguing and the pommi (pomegranate juice, lime juice, ginger ale, fresh ginger) and the sunny (passion fruit nectar, lime juice, ginger ale) are my front runners for now.:: The interior is bright, clean, and very welcoming. The bathrooms are super clean, the living room feel is relaxing, and it's an ideal place to work. The chairs that line up along the counter facing the street are some of the comfiest tall chairs I've sat in. There's also some very fast free WiFi and a decent number of outlets to boot.:: I'm so pleased with the service. They're all smiles and they do a good job of ensuring most wait times are minimal. They were great about answering my questions while being awesome all at the same time. Bring any dirty cups to the counter and they'll take care of it.The only things I'm not super fond of is that very tight parking. The lot has some serious overflow during many days of the week, forcing patrons to consider the street. I've been fortunate to find the spots that I do, but I tend to come during non-peak hours.____________(#1) As of November 2023"
"Cute place!! Mom & pop shop. Ordered lox bagel on jalapeño bagel and daughter had strawberry cream cheese sesame bagel. Bagels were freshly toasted, made in house and so light. Friendly service. Good coffee too."
"We were looking for something close by after a doctor appointment, but most things were closed before 11 o'clock but we were happy to find that the cafe was open. Not only was it open, and the parking lot very full, but it was absolutely packed on a random day of the week. I wondered how busy it gets on the weekends. We came in through the wrong door and the line was actually up to door at the correct entrance. And here I thought the parking lot was full because of the gym next door and people's New Years resolutions were still swinging. Nope-- it's the bagel place. I was impressed by how fast the line moved because even though it was crazy long (and as soon as it finished another line made its way back up to the door again), they quickly got people's orders with the cashier bouncing from one check out to another. I didnt see my child's macaroni and cheese, but she also got a brownie and said that it was good-- as long as my kid doesn't complain I have no complaints . I myself got an everything bagel with cream cheese. I saw someone else get a bagel with cream cheese and it was loaded up so I was happy thinking that mine would be too but for some reason it was light cream cheese which kind of annoying but I didn't check until I had got to my car and had to run. The guy next to me did order his cream cheese light, so they might have mixed them up, or the person at the table I saw ordered extra. So now I don't know what's an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Either way, kind of disappointing. I also got an iced decaf sugar-free hazelnut latte and I'm happy that they were able to accommodate for that I'm always trying to find places to have more sugar-free options in their coffee. I actually like the ambience of this place, it seemed very old school with the tile and the black & white color. I actually like when cafes and diners look like people actually visit them instead of the cold, stark personality that most have nowadays because it's just deterring for me. I either want something that looks old school or to look like a Grandma's house and this place was great. I see lots of bad reviews for this place, but obviously it's very busy and even though we didn't actually get a full sit down meal this time, I was happy that we have this option close by. I would like to return and try out some of their brunch options."
"Came on Labor Day and glad they were open on this holiday. Cute small place. I enjoyed my lox bagel on jalapeño bagel with a latte and my daughter had the sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The bagel is not overly thick or bready. It's light and flavorful. I inhaled my sandwich. They did run out of blueberry bagel when I came at 10:30am. Nice staff too."
"All I can say is if you're from Ny and enjoy a good bagel go here! Ask for the bagel buttered and grilled and you will be a happy camper . Quick and easy spot to grab breakfastPatio tables outside and some seating insideIt can get busy but moves fastNothing special about the set up totally no frills but worth many visits"
"Another great experience. Quick service, outdoor dining, but no Sinatra this time? Oh well"
"Oh, wow.I love bagels. I mean, I really love bagels. But they've got to be REAL bagels, and not the quasi-grocery store style of bread that is not really a bagel at all. Years ago there was a great bagel shop (Texas Bagel Co.) that we frequented often. After they closed, it was literally a bagel desert around here.Read about this place opening up soon, and hit them up during their soft opening on Tuesday, January 16. The first thing I asked when I walked in: "Do you boil your bagels?" Because, you see, THAT is the key to a truly good bagel. When the answer was "Yes," well, I couldn't resist. Bought 4 different varieties to taste before I indulged in a dozen.Wow. Excellent. Chewy. Tasty. Loads of toppings (if you opt for that) both top and bottom (as in sesame seeds, garlic, onion, everything and others). Absolutely delicious!Coming back for that dozen I didn't get. This is a bagel. A REAL bagel.Schmear yourself some cream cheese or butter or just about anything on one of these and you're in bagel heaven!"
"I love a Henderson & Kane moment! The great BBQ and general store vibe work for me! Their chopped brisket and house-made sausage (all of them) are my favorites. I also enjoy the meaty mac and cheese. I enjoy burger night as well. Love that H&K is nicely tucked into the neighborhood. They have a great wine selection and love dining in when I can. All in all, great BBQ spot and a local favorite of mine!"
"Holy mother of the gods! Unreal as how great this place is! How am I just finding it ?? Top notch! Just like New York! My girl turned me into bagels in NYC. I just happened to be getting Starbucks and I saw this place in my rear view mirror I wasn't even hungry but I thought maybe I should try them out. I am sure glad I did! The guy running the place is super nice! I believe his name is Josh. True New York accent when I placed order over the phone. So I knew I was in for something great! Food: bacon, egg and cheese on everything bagel was top notch! So amazing ! The bagel is fresh and tastes great! If you are in the mood for some truly authentic New York bagels stop in and give them a try. You all should advertise mailers or something because I've been in this area for 15 years and this is the first time I've seen you. Top notch and will be back soon!Merry Christmas!"
"Wow!! These bagels are TO.DIE.FOR!! Love at first bite :) You can definitely tell these are homemade. My personal favorite is the garlic bagel. I first tasted these bagels at my local farmer's market and was so glad to hear they opened up in the HEB off Barker Cypress. I met the owner, Michael, who is friendly and accommodating. These guys have a hit on their hands! If you haven't tried them I suggest you do- ASAP! Support local!"
"So this girl I'm seeing is on a keto diet for health reasons and I wanted to treat her to some sweets; I found this through Yelp and went to check it out, they are in a house so the vibe is like you're picking up mushrooms for a fun camping trip; but in this case the vibe is flavor and trip is experience of eating something sweet and good for you! Service was Amazing and extremely helpful 10/10 would come back"
