Lazy Bagel

Cream cheeses were awesome--strawberry, ranch bacon, and regular. Great, friendly customer service.

Stopped in here randomly one morning because I had some time to kill and was pleasantly surprised by the bagel sandwich I had. I got the BLT avocado sandwich on an everything bagel. It was HOT and fresh. The bagel was actually really good (which I think is hard to come by in Houston) and the BLT/avocado toppings did not feel nearly as heavy as your typical bacon egg and cheese.The service was good. And the place is so cute with comfy chairs to sit while you wait as well as 4 person tables and two bar style seating areas. Perfect for eating alone, with a friend, or even a small group! If you need a quick breakfast in midtown, check this place out!

I enjoy bagels and found this in midtown while running errands. It was dead and no one was there eating or calling in orders. The bagel was decent but my main reason for 1 star... they don't accept cash. Cash is our legal tender in the USA. Places that don't accept cash don't respect our constitution or are so uneducated in my opinion. I understand there are many positives to going cashless such as security for the employees, etc. but our legal rights as US citizens utilizing our legal tender in the United States is being taken away by businesses like this, that don't respect that. I will never go back here!

HOLY SH*T!! This place is AMAZING! Needed a bagel this morning so I decided to make the drive to this place. I was SO impressed. I got a build your own with bacon, pepper jack cheese, and kimchi cream cheese. Literally was heaven. Can't wait to come back with friends to try more!

Found this place a hop skip and a jump away from where I live. Thought to try it before work and wasn't disappointed. Not the chewiest bagels, more like regular bread. They do make great breakfast sandwiches out of any of the flavors, which is a perk. They don't have a great selection of coffee, which saddens me since what's better than a coffee and a bagel. Over all its a cute place, and I still have more to try there. The cherry on top is the servers are so friendly and have great suggestions.

On my first visit I ordered to try something different and tried the caprese bagel and all I can say is OMG it was the BEST combination on a bagel I've ever had. They toasted the cheese,tomato and herbs together and it was AMAZING! The herbs on top made it extra tasty. I will make this place a staple

It takes a lot for me to pay for something and walk away even if it is under $5, but I did here.  Ordered an everything bagel with classic cream cheese (to go).   I asked if they had lox.  When I saw the vacant eyes of the cashier looking back at me, I said "smoked salmon"?  She replied "We have that for lunch".  Puzzled, but undeterred, I ordered the bagel with cream cheese only and paid for it.  Then I waited.There was an order in front of me, but they put my bagel in the pizza oven (kinda cool) to toast.  And I waited.  They pulled the bagels for the previous order from the oven and started prepping them.  And I waited.  And my bagel turned a golden brown.  And I waited while the cashier went to the back to retrieve 6 plain bagels for the case while talking on the phone, leaving 2 customers at the till waiting to order.  And my bagel turned dark brown.  I continued to wait while the chef diligently prepared the order in front of me.  And my bagel, feeling as unwanted as I did at this point, began turning black.  Unwilling to watch the bagels demise (and wait another 8+minutes), I left.  I cannot speak to the quality of the food, but if you are getting a bagel to take home, just toast it there.

The vibe here is kinda chill very limited seating (2 four tops, 3bar style seating facing a wall, 3 window facing stools and 3 chairs for solo eating no table. Music is soft and not at all annoying. The smear options are different than those you'd see elsewhere and the bagel choices were standard Guys were really cool save for the lack of coffee...

If you NEED a bagel sandwich and you can't drive far, this is fine.The cashier was helpful and nice, which was much appreciated.The food however was about what you'd make at home with store bought bagels. I WILL say though, if you're comparing here to hot bagel, I'd pick here because their egg is better. My partner disagrees based on the bagel lol.

First time I was here, my BLT bagel with an egg white patty was 7.50. Second time I came in for the same thing it cost 9.50. It's a rip off to charge 2 bucks more for a different egg patty without explaining it would cost more. I can see why small businesses in midtown don't make it. Never again yall. Einstein bagel got yall beat with me
