3 Sistas Kitchen

New in Huntsville and saw the sign 3 Sistas. When i saw that I knew it was some good ole soul food. i went there! which means I order Smothered chicken, cabbage and baked macaroni. Good meal. Owners were very friendly

When I lived in Huntsville there were a very few places to go for a good smothered pork chop and before I left Huntsville, a smothered pork chop was nowhere to found but I was in Huntsville last weekend for an event and met Henry and Shay and little did I know that I would be sitting in their restaurant for a lite afternoon snack that was beyond measure.I chose the smothered pork chops, cabbage, and black eyed peas. The 3 Sistas are good reason for me to increase my visit to Huntsville not only because I enjoyed my meal immensely today but I also eyeballed some items on the menu like the oxtails, Shay's lasagna, and the fried fish and shrimp. Y'all are gonna see me sooner that you think.

We went on a Sunday when the special was oxtail or catfish. My husband had the oxtail (which he had never tried) and I had the fried catfish (I don't normally eat catfish). Both were amazing and so was ourGreen beans, greens, sweet potatoes... will definitely go again! The place was very clean, and super friendly staff!

Run-- do not walk-- and get some of the best food in Huntsville from THE sweetest people you've ever met. Everything was literally perfect. Fried doll fish coating was tasty and crisp -- as was the shrimp. I ordered more sidesJust to try them and they were delicious: red beans & rice and the Mac & cheese! Wow. I can't wait to come back

This place has wonderful friendly people working . The food was fantastic if you like soul food. It is very homie. The dinning room has several tables .

I tried them again. And yes, it was amazing. Eating at three sisters is like eating outta your aunts or grandmother's kitchen. It's mouth-watering and sinfully delicious .. this time I tried fried fish, fried chicken and the banana pudding. I scrapped the container to make sure I got all the Nana pudding outta the container. Don't sleep on three sistas' kitchen!! oh and I felt like family. The staff is so sweet and amazing!

My group was returning to Dallas from Galveston after a cruise and we wanted to have lunch about halfway back. Someone mentioned fried chicken, so I searched for that along our route and found 3 Sistas. We almost missed it despite using GPS since the building was an old gas station that had been repurposed as a restaurant. When we arrived there was one other table of people dining in, but a stream of customers coming in to pick up to go orders. There were 4 meat dishes listed on the white board as available that day as well as a comprehensive number of side items. Our group of four ordered 3 out of the 4 items and a variety of sides. Our server brought a basket of cornbread with two distinct types of cornbread. There was a lovely honey basted cornbread and an above average southern yellow cornbread. Each of the sides we tried had their own broth and seasoning blend to make the various beans and greens shine. The fried chicken was outstanding, the southern barbecue riblets were unique and flavorful, and the smothered chicken was covered in a savory gravy.The service was great. We were served by at least one of the sistas and a male family member was bustling to pack up to go orders from the steam table.

Amazing meal(s) from here. I don't eat alot of food but I like to sample a lot of food. And so I order not 1 but 2 plates plus a dessert all for the embarrassingly cheap price of $24. I'll start with the few somewhat lackluster. The beans could have used a bit of a kick. The wings were delicious and crispy and FRESH. But I wish the batter was better seasoned. It was a tad bland. Everything else was FANTASTIC !!! Mac and cheese was creamy and flavorful. The greens were very fresh and tasty. But the star of the show for me was the very unique peach cheesecake. wooooow!!!! They need to figure out a way to distribute this all throughout the state of Texas!!! I can't even explain how good it was. Just come and get it.The service was super good. Very sweet and kind lady who takes your order. Final grade: solid AI will definitely return

After leaving Avery Eye Clinic in Huntsville, I was HAWNGRY. Happened upon "3 Sistahs Kitchen". GREAT down home cookin' filled my tummy with smothered pork chops, southern greens, candied yams, 1/2 sweet tea mixed with 1/2 lemonade and topped it off with sweet potato dump cake. GENEROUS portions, took home enough for another meal. Spent a little over $18(including tip), reminded me of MY down home cookin' that my Mama, Grannie, and Grandma taught ME how to do. DELICIOUS and FRIENDLY service!

So first of all the cornbread (there's two kinds) with the sweet potato is amazing. Not to mention the chicken was delicious! A lot of door dash orders came through while I was there due to limited seating, so that's probably what I would do next time!
