"I'm in town for a couple days and decided to join my friends for dinner at Little Wok. This place does take reservations, but we did not need one. It was 5 PM on a Thursday and the place was pretty empty. There are a lot of seating and it is nicely decorated. Julian (the busboy) came as soon as I sat down to fill our cups with water and was very attentive whenever we needed refills. Our waiter, Sam, was so nice and checked in on us periodically to make sure we were doing alright. The food came out in a timely manner, which I really appreciated. I had the avocado roll as my appetizer, which came with 10 rolls. It was fresh and they provided soy sauce. As my main portion, I had the walnut shrimp. It came with a side of rice as well. The walnut shrimp was creamy and also came with broccoli. It was a good portion size, so I even had some leftovers."
"Sushi Kushi is great! Affordable prices, amazing ambiance, wonderful service, delicious food. Our server Julia was so attentive and made the whole dining experience very personable. My vegan brother and I dined here and they had plenty of options for us to try! We ordered the AAC maki, sweet potato makis, shiitake kushi, veggie egg rolls, yaki onigiri. Our total was only $30 for all of that food which is crazy, serious bang for your buck with this restaurant. Food reviews below! Shiitake Kushi 10/10 -- Grilled shiitake skewers with this delicious sauce on top. No idea what the sauce was, but it was seriously so good. At only $2 a skewer, you may as well order 10 of them. Similar restaurants sell these for $10+ and these taste the same if not better. Egg rolls 9/10 -- Great! Solid egg rolls. It was a little more pricey for the restaurant, $6 for 3.AAC maki 9/10 -- So fresh, sesame seeds and delicious high quality fillingsYaki onigiri 10/10 -- Amazing. Almost no restaurants have this on their menu. Grilled soy sauce rice ball, simple and delicious! They also offer other onigiris with seafood filling and plum for the vegan options. Definitely recommend.Sweet Potato Maki 8/10 -- Great!! I love the soft sweet potato. I wish there was more of a tempura crunch though... maybe if they changed it so the roll was i/o and had tempura flakes on the outside? I wouldn't mind a higher price if they made this change as well, I think it would taste way better! Great as is though. Overall highly recommend this restaurant. I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the staff, the hospitality, and the delicious food. Super affordable and worth trying if you're in the area!"

"I'm kind of glad the other En Hakkore location closed. Although the food was good there, I wasn't a big fan of their takeout only and no interaction with staff setup. The food at this location is just as good with much more options. My son ordered their tacos again, and my wife also order their Beef Bibimbap again. Both tasted just as good as the first time. I ordered their Crunch & Fire Sushi Burrito this time around. I've always wanted to try a sushi burrito and I'm glad I finally got to try one. It was really delicious but somewhat difficult to eat without using the wrapper to hold everything together. Would definitely order it again though."
"Had a blast at the hibachi table with a group of 4 that included kids! They have a kids menu which was great and still was essentially the same amount if food as the adult portions. I tried the salmon which came with 2 filets. It was great and there was plenty to take home for leftovers. The service was great and the kiddos loved the show!"
"Very good Japanese and Thai food. Also, very fast pick up. The first time I tried I felt it was a bit bland about a year ago. I'm so glad I gave it another chance bc I've ordered now at least four times and always delicious."
"I love this place so much!! It's my go to grab and go lunch order when I'm on that side of town!! I usually place an order, pick it up 20 mins later and then make my way to the lakefront for a "lunch with a view". Employees are always nice and happy to greet me. The food is always good. Can't beat $4 mini rolls."
"Had dinner here last weekend with friends and just really enjoyed this place. It was really good Chinese and Asian food, after a long time. The place isn't too fancy or anything. It kind of has a strange layout too, where you have to go around the bend to the seating area. It's not a big place, at all inside. The service was kind of OK - the lady admittedly was on her first day, but she just wasn't up with the service. For example, just not doing refills, not knowing the menu, etc. I get it - first day. I'm giving this place the benefit of the doubt. Our friends that took us there vouch for this place; they're regulars. And there were right on one thing; the food was great. The Ma Po Tofu was great. The Kung Pao Vegetables were also good. There was this veggie sushi, which I really loved. It had some crispy stuff in there. I can't find it on the online menu, but whichever one it was, I loved it. We also had the veggie fried rice, which was just OK. I ate a LOT of food there, cuz it was so good. You know, there are SO many more amazing looking options on the menu, I definitely would want to come back here to give it a shot. In fact, I noticed there's another location down near West Town, so I'll definitely give it a shot. Now that I think about it - maybe we already have? Hmm... I'll have to look in to that. Well, great job at this location and thanks for a great evening."
"My son and I went here on a weeknight and we were able to get a seat easily. Sakae is located near the corner of Camp McDonald Road and Des Plaines River Road, and has a spacious parking lot. The dining area is a good size, with roughly 7 or so tables and chairs, and a TV on one wall. We ordered:Tofu Yaki Udon Stir-Fried Udon Noodles with Tofu, Vegetables & Special House Sauce. Yellow tail roll -- the typical roll with yellow tail in the middleGold Rush 1848 roll, which had Grilled Eel, Spicy Crab & Grilled White Tuna With Avocado & Gold Flake. The gold flakes really drew my son in.Alligator Roll which had Eel & Shrimp Tempura with Crunch & AvocadoTonkotsu Ramen was the traditional ramen you expect, with creamy pork Broth, Pork Belly, Onion. The pork belly on this dish was phenomenal... so tender and flavorful. Our meals came with miso soup, which was a nice touch, especially on a cold winter evening. Service was prompt, food came out fast, and the overall experience was good.BATHROOM REVIEW: Located off to the side, near the back, the men's bathroom was single-person, although there is a urinal and a toilet. I always wondered in those situations, do I lock the door? I mean, I suppose someone is free to use the urinal while I do a #2 on the toilet? Either way, all was in working order, things were fairly clean, the sink was in working order. Decent bathroom. Sit or squat? Squat."
"Felt like trying some new sushi out and Bubble Maki hit the spot that's for sure!I was especially hungry and ended up ordering 3 rolls. Im definitely a texture eater so having the two crunchy rolls was a great choice. I especially enjoyed the crunchy Avocado Tuna roll. Two other things I have to mention other than the rolls are actually the sauces. They're delicious. I definitely enjoyed the Sriracha aioli the most. It's a great level of spice and creaminess. It's nice to have something a little different than the usual Wasabi and soy sauce. The little touch that made my day was the pickled asparagus. I've never had it before but it was a nice change up.Definitely will be coming back!"
"It's more like a 4.5 but I'll round up. This little sushi Thai spot holds a lot of flavor. Their menu is quite large with so much to choose from. The staff is super friendly and answered the many questions my table had and even flipped through their TV menu because my nephew saw a picture of something he liked but didn't know the name. That extra step they took added to our amazing experience. The service is quick and the food is freshly made. For appetizers started with chicken. Egg rolls and pot stickers. Loved them both. The crispness of the pot stickers was sheer perfection. The crab Rangoons were a bit bigger than I was expecting. It was my first time having them. I'm still on the fence with taste. Their sushi lists has a lot of options we finally decided on three of them and they were all pretty tasty. Sushi is a hit or a miss for me, but this place does it well. The main entrees I always love a good pad thai and this place is up there on my list of pad thai places. The sesame chicken was also seasoned really well. Every one in my group seemed to enjoy their meals. My mom had the salmon thai she was hoping the salmon would have been grilled or something extra it was bland for her. They do a special thing for birthdays which is nice. Overall a great visit and if I'm not trying to go into the city for sushi this place does the job."
"Just found out about this place and it wasn't too far so I gave it a try. Not a lot of great takeout sushi places in AH/Palatine...I was pleased with the maki rolls. The classic rolls were fantastic, and the specialty rolls I ate were solid in taste, but the variety of specialty rolls leaves something to be desired. Felt like a lot were similar to each other. The woman taking the order over the phone was pleasant. Service was good when we got there to pick up the order. She made sure everything was packed and included before we left. Interior is pretty standard modern industrial fare. A lot of space...only had 1 couple dining in when I was there.I like the smaller packets of soy sauce they provide. As they are a new business, they have a 25% off all regular price orders. Don't know when that expires, but for now, it is a great deal.I'll be back the next time I order sushi. Certainly a business to give a chance. I saw a review commenting on a smell inside the restaurant. I did not notice any odors."
"Hit or miss. Delivery is solid but not on all dishes. For example the sweet and sour chicken is great but the fried rice is not. It was really weird and not what I expected at all. Egg foo young was good, but the Mongolian beef had too much sauce and was chewy. The dine in is typical and servers are friendly."

Based on the mixed reviews, I was a little hesitant but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised!! We ordered on door dash from a huge menu. We went with the:- Scheuzan chicken 8/10- Pad see ew 9.5/10- steamed gyoza 8/10This is the best pad see ew I have found in wicker park. I've struggled to find good Thai here! Delivery or within walking. All the normal recs have been disappointing for this dish. Little wok nailed this! Good flavor, good portion. My only wish was a little more spice but overall will def get again. My husband liked his too but it didn't come with white rice like those dishes normally do which we thought was strange... def should. We also both enjoyed the gyoza.Haven't tried the sushi or "Chinese" side of the menu but liked the Thai!

Food here was just ok. Service was efficient and friendly. What put me off was the nickel and dime-img prices that were listed on the menu charging extra for this and that. I mean do you really have to put on your menu- No refills on soft drinks etc!? And to put a sign on your thermostat "do not touch!" Why don't you buy a cover at Home Depot so no one can touch it! Duh! So tacky and typical!Sushi was ok. With so many choices in HP I would not come here again.

This has easily become one of my favorite spots in Chicago-- a casual counter service spot in the heart of Wicker Park serving fresh and flavorful poke bowls and sushi burritos. I ordered the Kimchi Salmon Poke Bowl, which was so delicious-- the salmon was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth; the mix of creamy and crunchy textures and the mix of spicy and savory flavors were extremely pleasant. We also ordered the Bulgogi Fries, which were great-- the fries were crispy and elevated when combined with different the textures and flavors of the sauces and bulgogi. I also tried a couple bites of the Friend and Crunch & Fire sushi burritos, which were equally flavorful and the textures were satisfying-- a soft and chewy exterior combined with a crunchy and crispy interior. The prices felt pretty fair too, especially for the freshness, and the service was quick and friendly. I'm excited to come to En Hakkore 2.0 again to try their other menu items!-- Price (relative to peers): 4.3/5Food: 5/5Ambience: 5/5Service: 5/5Overall Value: 5/5

We got sushi here and the selection is huge, they have the classic rolls and also a bunch of specialty rolls. May favorirecommend the Fire Agate which has lobster and is topped with scallop and spicy mayo. That was my favorite roll we tried. They also have ramen, Teppanyaki, noodles and other Asian dishes. The service was kind of slow so that is my only feedback but overall was pleased with the experience.

Dowize Bistro has the best and affordable lunch here in Wilmette. I got the pad Thai with fried tofu as the complimentary appetizer. It also came with a small salad and soup. Big hearty portion! The food quality is excellent, and the variety is pretty extensive across several different cuisines and including multiple protein and vegetarian options. The ingredients have always been very fresh and prepared beautifully, and served generously. There is an array of traditional and modern Thai and Chinese dishes including curries, rice, noodles, bento boxes and sushi, and complete entrees and special meals. A personal highlight is they have ice-blended fruit freeze bubble tea drinks, which are a real treat on a nice day. Great little restaurant- Thai and Sushi. Everything very fresh and tasty! Efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended! Definitely will be back soon.

Oh wow! Decent sushi at a fabulous price! I ordered 4 rolls via delivery on the app tonight and everything was delicious...could have been a touch warmer but I think that's a matter of opinion. I got: The crunchy spicy salmon roll - the crunch was minimal just flakes of the tempura in the rice, could be a bit more crunchy. The spicy is the sauce on the top and depending on how much is on that slice of the roll, determines the level. If there's a decent amount it can get spicy! The mini Godzilla roll - so good! My favorite roll and sadly so since there was only 4 pieces and was fairly skinny compared to the other rolls. Would love to see this roll offered in a larger portion. The golden California - 10/10 a great update to a classic. Can't go wrong here. And lastly the shrimp tempura. Another classic but it definitely lacked "tempura" to me. I'll definitely be back! The prices and portions make it easy to get a little adventurous with your order choices!

Little Wok in Wicker Park is closer to home, but I accidentally ordered from this location instead. The recipes should be the same, no? Yes, but the Buddha's Delight had slightly more flavor from Wicker Park's location. The Szechwan Wontons were also lacking in flavor, as if they forgot to use salt. There wasn't much sauce to it either... Generous size though. The Hot and Sour Soup was as expected. Overall, I was content with the food, and prices were reasonable!

Went here on a weeknight for sushi with family. The seating area is limited, but it wasn't very busy. We sat at the furthest table from the entrance which sat the 4 of us. There was just enough room at the table for the 4 of us, however the seats were quite uncomfortable. Our waitress brought us menus and water and after we had a chance to look through the menus we placed our orders. We each ordered miso soup which is 'free' as well as our sushi or entree. They had a tv on the wall streaming ChiveTV muted which was really entertaining and distracting at the same time. The sushi I ordered was good. I didnt really have any complaints except some of the rolls fell apart when I picked them up with chopsticks, some weren't rolled tight enough perhaps. Also, some pieces of the rolls were squished together a little too hard so they were hard to separate. All the ingredients tasted good and made for a good dinner. I got a spicy tuna roll, a Philadelphia roll, an Alaskan roll, and a piece of eel, salmon, and tuna nigiri. The eel nigiri was very good, as was the salmon. The tuna nigiri was fine too. The spicy tuna filling in the spicy tuna roll was less processed than at other sushi places which was a welcome change. The spice level on it was good too. I liked the Philadelphia roll as well and it cooled off my mouth from the spicy tuna. The alaskan roll was also good. Not the biggest rolls in the world, but not small either. I was definitely full afterwards. The rolls were about 7 or 8 dollars each and the nigiri were about 4 dollars each. That's comparable to what Id pay for all you can eat, but I wasnt in pain from eating too much after this . Would come back again.

"Checked out this long time favorite in Glenview. It's one of the best places around for sushi. Nobori is a pretty nondescript looking place, but don't let that fool you. Has better looking and tasting food. There's good ways to save including the combos at lunch. After finding out about this place we made sure to come in the next time being around here. It's a bit of a ways from the downtown area along Waukegan Road. This is located in a pretty boring looking strip mall, but the food wasn't boring though. It's about $17 for a Lunch Combo. The Roll Combo comes with a choice of 2 rolls. Lots to choose from. We got a couple vegetarian ones: the avocado and the spinach. Except for being kind of small, these had some excellent flavor. These were fresh and we got pretty good service. Better place to get sushi it seems than among the places around here. It has really good value at lunch. There's lots more to choose including ramen and whatever."
"Swung by to grab take out. The hostess was exceptionally helpful and rather proud of their homemade sauces, they did not disappoint. How great to be able to choose from a few different types of Asian dishes. Egg Rolls, Goyza, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, green tofu curry... all delicious."
"Good Thai option in the area! I've been trying to find a reliable Thai option in the 'hood and I think I may have found it in Rice Cafe. My advice is skip the sush, stick with the Thai.Their crab rangoon is a bit different than what you may be used to as it's more Thai style. It's little deep fried dumplings with a thinner crisp on them and you get 5 little guys for $5. The filling is delicious and it's a great starter. The lime chicken is a dish I'd skip from Rice Cafe. This may just be my personal preference so take it with a grain of salt. I didn't think it had much flavor and it was just way overloaded with cilantro - too much so for my liking. Pad See Ew from Rice Cafe is one of the best I've had in awhile. Chicken was perfect, noodles were perfect and the dish was packed full of tasty flavor.I also ordered a few veggie maki rolls which were not half bad but weren't anything too amazing. Delivery was right on time, you can order through GrubHub, food is good and prices are very reasonable. I'll be back, Rice Cafe, oh yesh, I'll be back."
"We went here for a quick lunch while out on a shopping spree. It was the closest sushi place to where we were when hunger struck so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in the floor was dirty and the place was giving off mild discoteca vibes but the place was pretty busy so we decided to grab a table and give it a go. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The sushi was a home run. A+! All staff we interacted with were kind and radiating positive, happy go-lucky vibes. We were provided with complimentary edamame while we waited for our sushi rolls too! Such a nice surprise. Now, the sushi. We ordered two vegetarian rolls and two specialty rolls. We both had water and the total cost before tip was about $57. Well worth it. They did not skimp on ingredients and these were saucy and big, fat rolls. Made to perfection. My goodness are we glad we stayed and dined here. They also have all you can eat lunch and dinner options but the only sushi on the all you can eat menu are nigiri style (non-rice rolls). Looked like a few were taking full advantage of the all you can eat option so if you're a meat eater and feeling like a bottomless pit this might be worth a try."
"Came to one of the many sushi places in Arlington Heights. It didn't look all that good from the outside, just in a crummy strip plaza. Nikko makes it count on the inside though. Mainly because of the food. The prices are about average for good quality sushi, so not enough to be bank breaking to get some great rolls. At lunch it was pretty quiet inside. It may have to do with the location. This isn't the easiest to see or get to. At lunch they have a bit better prices. It's about $4.50 for most rolls. Got ourselves a few of the vegetarian ones. The Avocado was filled with creamy and fresh avocado, and the Sweet Potato was filled with big soft chunks of the tubers. Good place to get great quality of sushi and still not pay a crazy amount. It also has Asian cocktails but that's only for dinner though. There's a few rolls that are okay for vegans and vegetarians."
"Saw an article share this place just opened up & it did not disappoint. They've got 30% off Deluxe Rolls & Boxed Entrees as their grand opening special going on right now. We splurged and got 2 Deluxe rolls (Wajo Deluxe with 5 fish, avocado, cucumber; Spider Dragon Deluxe with soft shell crab & eel). But the surprise delight was the Cheese Crunch Special roll that's got crab, tuna, but topped with crunchy Cheetos & this awesome mango sauce that brings the flavors together in the most amazing way!! Also, solid miso soup & traditional seaweed salad that I always crave with sushi. Great service, fresh, well constructed & creative rolls with lovely presentation. We'll def be back!"
"I was this place was open for lunch during the week. Their Bento Box Lunch special is truly something special. I called in the order and was getting packaged up as I was arriving. They really have a great staff here. I ordered two Bento Boxes. One with Beef teriyaki, tekka maki, and a California maki. The other box was chicken teriyaki, kappa maki, and sashimi. The Bento boxes came with miso soup, salad and rice. I also ordered a Volcano maki roll which was very delicious. The beef teriyaki was good, but I preferred the chicken teriyaki. The side rolls were all good, but my favorite was the sashimi. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the kappa maki and probably wouldn't order it again. I can definitely see myself coming back to try more of their sushi offerings."
"Excellent sushi takeout and very reasonable prices! The pop up roll and sweet potato roll were both amazing! They have a great dinner special that makes it super affordable. Can't wait to come back!"
"Quality fishes and efficient service combine with an understated decor and friendly staff to make this place stand out. All good. Not a budget option, as you might expect."
"You know some places are hit and miss? Well this place is a Home Run! Excellent flavors and quality and quantity. Beautiful inside and very clean. Very nice people too! Take the family Highly recommend!"
"A wonderful place for generous portions of fresh, delicious sushi, sashimi and creative rolls (we thought tempura shrimp and soft shell crabs were standouts). We went with regulars, so they ordered. The service was outstanding and the owners wereWarm and gracious. Ending the meal with a tempura ice cream treat with chocolate sauce was the ribbon on the gift."
"Ive been here a few times and they have never disappointed. That is why it's worth returning to an establishment. The service is friendly and quick. The food has been fresh and satisfying. I went with the 2 Maki Special lunch: Spicy Tuna and Spicy Salmon. Good and filling. My friend ordered the Spicy Salmon Salad which is her go to Fav and by the look of it I may need to try next time!"
"4.5 starts for food. Hit or miss on service My son, a friend, and I had Christmas eve's dinner and .... Wait... wait... it was Hands down one of the beast sushi I have had since we moved from Adam Francisco. I liked it so much I went back with my husband today - taking advantage that we came from the burbs to water my son's plants just 5 minutes from the restaurant. On Christmas Eve the service was great, today was so so. The food fantastic both times. Fresh, crunchy on the right rolls, very tasty. We had several rolls: broccoli tempura, spicy tuna, Una Q Maki, dragon, volcano and a bowl. All excellent Don't forget BYOB."
"Great poke bowl spot! I ordered online and it was ready during the time indicated. Can't speak to the service besides that! Staff did greet me and seemed friendly though.I did the create your own bowl and got 2 scoops of salmon and 1 scoop of cooked shrimp. I usually don't get cooked shrimp but it exceeded my expectations! It was really good. The seafood and veggies were fresh and tasty. I got a combo of the Hawaiian poke sauce and lemon miso, it was a little too saucy for me. Will ask for less next time.Overall solid spot and would return."
"Had reservations here for Friday night birthday dinner for my friend. It was a nice touch from the staff where they printed a personal Happy Birthday to my friend on her menu! All of the staff also wished she a happy birthday to make it extra special. The vibes are dark & moody with your Japanese influences. Seems like a great place for date night! Also a plus, the bathrooms are stocked with everything you need, including hair ties! Feels very personable. I got the chef seasonal nigiri selection and it did not disappoint! Each piece was well seasoned and some pieces even provided a smoky finish! The 10 day dry aged tuna nigiri sampler was also so delicious. The fish is on point here. I would come back here again! Just prepare to spend a pretty penny here, haha!"
"Certainly there's a lot of sushi places around here. Enso is another, and it's among the good ones. It's surprisingly affordable, maybe because it's not that large of portions. About the only complaint is it's not exactly that much food. The sushi is fresh though. After looking around for a place to get sushi, we chose to come here. It's conveniently close to the Damen Blue Line. This place has a cool vibe. Kind of quiet. The prices aren't that bad, especially for around here where it's hipster stuff. It's about $6 for a basic roll. We got a few of these. Best one was the Avocado Roll. It was good in spite of being simple. An example of how good food doesn't need to be elaborate. The rolls were as fresh as food gets. For sure it's pretty easy to find sushi around here but it's harder to find it fresh and cheap. It's possible to get both here. There's also more on the menu such as gyoza, ramen, and other good Asian stuff."
"My first omakase experience & Definitely not my last!My husband & our friend's surprised me with this experience as part of my early birthday celebration. It is located in the same building as a Ramen spot, but it is downstairs. Very intimate setting & unique dining experience. I wish I remembered each course we had, but I did take a picture of each one. It was a 15 course & each one was delicious! Everytime I ate one, I said it was my favorite so far, then as I ate another, it was my next favorite. Our server/host was very knowledgeable in each roll given to us & engaged in our experience to make it even better as she answered a lot of our questions. The sushi chef didn't say much to us throughout the course besides the end of our experience, but he definitely enjoyed making them for us. You can taste how fresh each fish was & it just literally melts in your mouth. Not much rice given either, which is what I prefer, so you can taste each roll better. If these were more affordable, I'd go to these more often, if I could."
"My brother suggested this place, so we took a 15-minute ride from downtown to give it a try, and it exceeded our expectations! The rolls were small but incredibly fresh and satisfying. The spicy cucumber was tasty but could use a bit more spice. The spicy chicken had a real kick to it; if you're a fan of spicy food, definitely order it! It's packed with flavor. However, the Tantan ramen had a strange bitter aftertaste that didn't appeal to me or anyone else at the table, so we only had a few bites. Now, the desserts were absolutely incredible! We tried all three on the menu. I can't recall their names exactly, but one was a donut with matcha whipped cream, another was like a raspberry sorbet, and the third was a pudding-like treat with a hint of lemon at the bottom, topped with white chocolate pebbles for a crunchy texture. Each dessert was delicious and light--no guilt involved! I'd return just for those desserts alone!"
"I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon, since that's the only day during the week that they're open for lunch. This place is small and cozy and only had one table being occupied when I arrived. I was able to get seated right away, and also quickly put my order in. The workers here really very friendly and welcoming. I ordered their Pork Belly Ramen, it came out fast and very delicious. I will say that it was just a tad bit on the pricey side by a couple of dollars, but deliciousness made up for it. I guess I'd rather pay a few dollars more to get this than a few dollars less to get mediocre food. The pork belly is probably one of the best pork belly I've ever had. It was very tender, and flavorful. The broth also had a lot of flavor. The broth was thick but just wish I would have gotten some more noodles. I also ordered some fried gyoza to go and they were also pretty good. It is without a doubt of my favorite ramen spots in the city and wouldn't hesitate returning."
"I wanted to add 3 additional items that are worth ordering. Beef tataki, soft shell crab, and tonkatsu dinner. Tokatsu dinner you get a nice big piece of pork loin. It's crunchy and moist. 5/5. Soft shell crab is not overly fried it's just right. Tastes great with that ponzu sauce. 5/5. Beef tataki has great quality NY strip meat. Make sure you eat it with the garlic, green onions, and ponzu sauce. Those components will amplify the taste"
"I am always a little wary of modern Asian or Asian fusion restaurants, because I wonder if they are just regular dimsum restaurants with jacked up prices. After dining here, I have to say that the food is indeed very good...with somewhat jacked up prices. Our favorites:* Tuna Truffle Pizza* Steamed Buns with Pork Belly* Hamachi Tartare* Baked Snow Crab Handroll* Tom Yum Sea Bass* Crispy Rice with Wagyu Beef* Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna* Escolar "The Great White"The sushi rolls -- Panda Roll and Red Dragon Roll -- were good, but can be good at other sushi restaurants. Similarly, the Adobo Fried Rice and Pad Thai were good too, but can be good at other restaurants. The only dish that I did not like was the Grilled Vegetables; it was extremely salty. For dessert, we got the Mochi Ice Cream and Coconut Cheesecake. Both were delicious. The Mochi Ice Cream had creative flavors like taro and sweet potato. The Coconut Cheesecake was light and airy, so you won't feel guilty for eating a few more bites. ;)"
"Here's a place pho you. Or should I say here's the place pho pho? Pho sho! This is a bright open space with plenty of parking (a plus). It was sparsely filled when I dropped in for lunch. They thoroughly cleaned my table and I noted that hand sani is on the table, alongside the hoisin sauce, chili sauce and sriracha bottle. I ordered the shrimp spring roll which were two large rolls filled with about three shrimp, mint, lettuce, vermicelli noodles and accompanied by peanut dipping sauce. This was crisp and refreshing and I brightened with some chili sauce. I ordered the Pho Tai Chin Nam (round steak and brisket) which comes with a dish of bean sprouts, lime, basil and jalapeño to customize to your palate. The broth was fine, I added the lime and basil, and though the brisket was tender, I found the steak to be slightly tough. I found this to be a very large portion and they packed the leftovers to go.The menu has Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese items, so if you are not looking pho pho, there are plenty of other dishes to entice. Service was friendly and fast. Some light music would help the ambience as I was able to hear the shop talk of the (vet techs???) on the other side of the dining room. I will be sure to return pho more."
