"After 23 years of living in Atlanta, I finally made it to Cafe Sunflower. This is an Atlanta institution for vegan food, a cuisine I admittedly don't seek out, hence why it took me so long to get here. As an omnivore, I really enjoyed the food. There's a reason this place has been around so long and is so beloved. They know how to make great restaurant-quality vegan food. As far as vegan restaurants go, I think this is one that sets the standard. Thus, five stars. The first Cafe Sunflower originally opened in Sandy Springs in 1994: https://www.yelp.com/biz/cafe-sunflower-sandy-springs-atlanta. That location unfortunately closed in 2020 due to the pandemic: https://www.facebook.com/cafesunflowersandysprings/posts/pfbid02p5PRhJUqKagL91j3zXRt5kwYBpKRzt5HgBhtvFkWeTJTH6vHjhP9aW29UKxu3gmAl. This Buckhead location opened in 1997. It's located in the two-story Brookwood Square shopping center, next door to Houston's. In 2014, the restaurant moved to a bigger space, but stayed in the same shopping center: https://www.tonetoatl.com/2014/04/planned-apartments-force-cafe-sunflower.html. I remember the old space which was tucked away from Peachtree Street. The current location faces Peachtree. We visited on an ordinary Tuesday night. The restaurant was moderately busy with a combination of dine-in and takeout orders. The clientele was diverse. Young, old, families, solo diners, large groups, date nights, etc. The space is sizable and simply-yet-tastefully decorated. There are multiple indoor dining areas plus a small, uncovered, pet-friendly, outdoor patio. Plenty of parking was available next to the restaurant, though I could see the lot being more congested at lunchtime due to the other businesses at Brookwood Square. One thing that I think is great about Cafe Sunflower is the variety of menu offerings in both food and drink. They offer vegan versions of all sorts of ethnic cuisines, from Orzo Eggplant Lasagna ($20) to Spicy Pad Thai Noodles ($21). Drink-wise, they have fresh juices, plant-based milks, coffee, tea, wine, and beer. Below is what I had (all prices listed were at the time of our visit).Red Wine (also on the blackboard specials at the entrance)* House Sangria ($10) - seasonalStarters* Avocado Spring Rolls ($12) - crispy wrapper, cilantro, aioli* Quesadilla ($15) - white mushroom, spinach, yellow onion, vegan cheese, guacamoleEntrees* Fettuccini Alfredo ($21) - fettuccine pasta, shiitake mushroom, green beans, red bell pepper, asparagus, cashew Alfredo sauce* Gyro Wrap ($18) - marinated seitan, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, feta, tzatziki sauce, vegan cheese, pita wrap, friesDessert* Raspberry Chocolate Mousse ($9 slice)* Carrot Cake ($9 slice)I had to get the House Sangria after seeing it on the specials menu on the way in. While not significantly different from other sangrias I've had, it was still tasty and refreshing. It also went well with all of the dishes I tried.Off the bat, I was pleasantly surprised by the Avocado Spring Rolls and Quesadilla. Just terrific quality and flavor all around. Wonderful color too. Generally, the dish presentation popped here. The Avocado Spring Rolls were fresh and hearty. Delectably crispy on the outside and filled with plenty of avocado on the inside. The Quesadilla was packed with cheesy goodness and umami. I believe Cafe Sunflower's Quesadilla can rival just about any other restaurant's quesadilla, vegan or not. It was that good. Generous portion sizes here too.I'm a fan of Fettuccini Alfredo in general. Cafe Sunflower's version was excellent. Normally made with butter and Parmesan cheese, my friend and I were really impressed with how smooth, creamy, and authentically-delicious the cashew Alfredo sauce was. It was really good. The noodle texture was just right too. We were trying to decide between this entree and the Bacon Beyond Burger ($19). We went with the pasta after our server told us how heavy the burger was.I had been eyeing the Gyro Wrap on the menu before our visit. I had to get it. Out of all the dishes we tried, this one tasted the least like its non-vegan counterpart. The reason why is because of the seitan. While the slices looked just like traditional gyro meat, the taste and texture were quite different. The pita was also a little hard and overcooked. The fries were less seasoned and oily (the latter, a good thing). All that said, I didn't regret ordering this dish and I still enjoyed it.Cafe Sunflower is also known for their cakes, so we had to try some. They offered five kinds when we visited. Slices of each kind were in a display at the check-in counter. Both the Raspberry Chocolate Mousse and the Carrot Cake that we got were fantastic. These were large, rich, high-quality slices that we couldn't stop eating. The Carrot Cake had a moist, appetizing consistency while the Mousse was thick, sweet, and creamy.Jose was our server. He did a good job.Like the thousands that have come before me, I recommend this place."
"Healthy food that is fresh, tasty and delicious. I love all of their bowls. I mix it up sometimes and create my own bowls (which I realized combined a couple of their top bowls). Quality ingredients that are great to eat-in or take to-go or delivery. Everything stays fresh.Had some of my "super organic foodies" in town so took them to here. Everyone was beyond impressed and I have bragging rights over some top places in LA & Austin. Always fantastic service and the location is in a fun area."

"We bought two cakes from Dulce during a family reunion here in Atlanta. We needed something everyone could enjoy, and Dulce offered vegan cakes, custom decorated. Both cakes were beautiful, and both were delicious. Service was *very* friendly and prices more than reasonable.OK, we also got a scone on an impulse buy while we were picking up the cake; it was amazing too..."
"I went with a friend to try this spot while in town. Parking was free and in close proximity. It was close to closing so there were just a few people in the restaurant. I ordered Kalebone sandwich and roasted potatoes. First of all, those potatoes were fire. They were really good. The sandwich was extremely good and filling. I didn't eat the entire sandwich but finished it later. It was a good experience. I could try other menu items again when in town."
"i'm happy envegan was the trailblazer for vegan food in morrow and gave me eating out options but the prices here are unnecessary expensive for the portions and flavor profiles. my favorite things to get here are the BLT and the cauliflower wings. fries are also good!although they follow a self service model the customer service is very friendly.atmosphere wise there are no frills to this casual dine in restaurant, they are more like a no frills cafe."
"Local Green Atlanta is definitely one of my personal favorites. I enjoy that they offer healthy options. My husband hadn't tried it before, so we opted to go for dinner one night. The cashier was helpful and insightful. The decor was cute and fun. I love the play on names with the menu items. We ordered the lizzo and Kingston lemonade, along with the urban legend shrimp Philly and badu kale/quinoa wrap with shrimp. Everything from our lemonade to our entrees was really delicious. The food came out hot and fresh. It does take a minute to receive your food, but they're cooking it fresh to order. However, we enjoyed the music and unlimited refills of lemonade while we waited. We will definitely be back again to try some other items on the menu!"
"The first time I visited Curry Up Now, I was immediately impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service. The second visit confirmed that this is a place worth returning to. On both occasions, my meal exceeded expectations, leaving me eager to explore more of their menu. While I can't recall exactly what my friends ordered, I do remember how engrossed I was in my own dish. The flavors were bold and authentic, showcasing a perfect balance of spices. The portions were generous, ensuring that every bite was satisfying. Curry Up Now has consistently delivered a delightful dining experience. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, you'll find something to make you happy here."
"I'm not into the fake meats but love tofu, eggplants, green beans, ... all the regular veggies ... so that's what I usu. order here. Today I thought I'd try something different. Several reviews raved about the Olive Fried Rice ... I was intrigued b/c I never noticed that menu item before. OLIVE FRIED RICE - $14Wok-tossed fried rice, olive leaves, carrots, string beans, tofu, ginger, and shiitake mushrooms. Whoa that had to be the best fried rice I'd ever eaten! I loved the wok-fried smoky flavor, it was honestly addicting, ... I had to practice self-control to only eat half so I could make two meals out of the one dish, lol. But it was hard! Everything about this dish was so good. I've tried other dishes but nothing as memorable like this one! The staff are nice here, and the space is always bright and clean feeling. This is usually my go-to place after getting a pedicure next door at Nail Time Spa. I will be back soon for my new favorite dish!"
"The weather was nice, the friends were out for a stroll after a morning of volunteering, what better reasons to stop into Big Softie for a cool treat! LoL. As I walked in my senses were attacked by fresh smells of sweet cream and fresh waffle cones. To say I was instantly excited would be an understatement. I was overjoyed by the instant memories of childhood and the local ice cream parlor. The nostalgia was free with my order. Ha!Walking up to the cashier to order, the young lady was very nice and greeted me with a smile. As I was the last of the group to order I knew what I wanted. I partook in a small vanilla on a cake cone with rainbow sprinkles (jimmies where I'm from). I placed my order, provided my name, and stood to the side. Once my order was ready, my name was called and my excitement started all over again. The ice cream was perfectly sculpted. It looked as if every sprinkle was perfectly placed and the ice cream to cone ratio was perfecttttttttttttttttttt. I'm one who bites the top of the swirl off first and upon FIRST BITE... I was planning my next visit back. LoL. Fresh Ice CreamFresh ConeSuper Fresh Sprinkles And best of all, the cream to sugar ratio was algebraically perfect. It's official. I'll be back in two weeks for my next fix. Dare I say, Big Softie is now in my Top 5 for Ice Cream, and #1 for Soft Serve. Do yourself a favor and get you some."
"I was delicious!! We came on a week day for lunch, in December (late on my review lol.) I've eaten at one of their sister restaurants in Smyrna- also good. The man who helped us- I think the owner, was very sweet and helpful, funny, and friendly. I love that! He passionately told us all about this seasonal soup they have for the winter months. I believe it was called "cold away", or "cold be gone".. something like that lol. It's a medicinal, healing soup, made with tons of fresh ginger and turmeric, and other herbs and spices. I believe it also had squash and carrots and other things but can't remember-- just remember how amazingly delicious it was, and you could FEEL it healing you!!! Like I may heal all my issues if I ate this every day lol. Cold buster soup, for sure!! We both loved it!! I'd go back just for that. I asked him if he'd make a big batch for us to take to go sometime lol. We ordered the fresh spring rolls w peanut sauce. Exceptionally good and fresh- many healthy veggies and sauce was great. I always order green curry places. I just love it, and all the veggies that come in it. Theirs was great, and I love that you can choose brown rice. Everything is organic and made for health. It makes these restaurants (the sister ones included) so special. Grateful they exists. Delicious, healthy food!"
"Convenient west side location; this restaurant was a great option for my vegetarian appetite. I was greeted with a warm welcome upon entry which is always a nice touch (especially for an ATLien. The hot buffet style options were behind a glass & served by kitchen staff. I chose greens, yams and mac-n-cheese. This vegetarian dinner included a small garden salad that was paired with a delicious dressing. Everything was superb! Very filling but bit in a heavy senae. I saved my 2 soft baked cookies for the day after and they were on point as well. I'll be back next time I'm in the A for sure. My only complaint is the restroom could have used some attention. ~Christy"
"Came here for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised! One of the best happy hour menus I've seen in a minute and I'm not even vegan. They have drinks and food. The bartender was so sweet and gave us some suggestions. Artichoke dip and expresso martini's what more can you ask for!? I believe the happy hour is over at six and you must sit at the bar."

Love this place. I take all my vegan friends. Pasta (fettuccine) is my absolute!!!!! Carrot cake - what all carrot cake should taste like! I like getting lattes as well (caramel oat milk). We order lots of food and share. Wonderful ambiance, always amazing music. Clean place. The people who work there are nice. Same guys every time. I wonder if they're family. Better than the trendy new place. Classic, classy, consistent, not over crowded.

I've been coming to Upbeet for years and it never disappoints!! I hadn't been in a minute, so I got to check out the new redesign on my latest visit for lunch with my family. The interior looks super sleek and modern. There a now a lot more premade options on the menu as well. I usually make my own, but this time I got the Pesto Manifesto which has chicken, spinach, quinoa, roasted broccoli, corn, cherry tomatoes, and a homemade pesto vinaigrette. I also love that they now serve Poppi! The staff was also great and helpful with walking my parents through the options since it was their first time. As usual, everything was delicious!! Will be returning for years!!

Only available seating was 3 window bar stools. It looked like there was construction or renovation happening in the regular dining area; it was blocked off. We arrived a little after 2 and the inventory was pretty low. Only a couple of vanilla cupcakes, a cheesecake, a few (all same flavor) 'cake in cup' and 1 cinnamon roll. However the service was friendly and the pastries were delicious. So I'd suggest going early and ordering to-go. Also only paid street parking available in the area.

The food was really good the customer service was top tier I would only give it a four star because it took forever for the food to come and then it was like like warm which I didn't like . But I would definitely highly recommend 10/10 everything was good

My vegan coworker has raved about this spot and I'm so glad I went. I can already see myself running here for a quick bite during professional development or after work. I read the spicy cauliflower wings reviews and they are the first thing you need order for your first visit. No it doesn't taste exactly like meat, but I was so impressed with well the batter held together. I also had a black bean burger with a lettuce wrap and the sweet potato fries. You will not taste or see an ounce of grease on those fries. I just needed some more salt because I'm not vegan but I love food period. The environment is green and serene so I I'll definitely stay the next time I visit before the end of the month. The workers are very informative and attentive to their first timers and returners. I can tell they've established a rapport with their customers.

I rarely give out perfect scores, but Local Green Atlanta absolutely deserves 5 stars! Their food is an explosion of flavor in the best way possible. I saw them featured on TV recently and just happened to be nearby, so I knew I had to try it. What I loved most is that they offer both vegan and pescatarian options. It's a fantastic concept that caters to dairy free pescatarians. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, and the cashier was super friendly. While it wasn't packed with diners, there was a constant flow of people picking up takeout orders, which is always a good sign. We decided to grab takeout ourselves. **The Star of the Show: Vegan Philly Cauliflower!**Everything we ordered was delicious, but the vegan Philly cauliflower absolutely stole the show! I've had cauliflower steaks before, but nothing compares to this. It was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The fries (not pictured) were also fantastic - perfectly seasoned and air-fried for a guilt-free indulgence. The Philly's flavor combination, especially the secret sauce, was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. Absolute perfection! **Highly Recommend!**If you're looking for a delicious vegan or pescatarian burger style place, Local Green Atlanta is a must-try! You won't be disappointed.

Fun street food. Service was great!!! I love the sauce that came with the food. The carton that the to go food was in kept the food warm. Plenty of indoor seating. And a large menu. Flood seems very authentic.

Updating my review to 5 stars upon marveling again at the Tau Kua (tofu) that you can only experience at Malaysian/Singaporean restaurants. We tried more dishes this time - Shrimp Chow Kwah Teow, Little Wok Lotus Root, Curry Laksa Noodles, and Pumpkin Soup that I am able to raise my rating and confirm that Mamak is now one of my favorite places to eat out and offers consistent food quality. They also also people to pick to pay for certain items individually before splitting the bill evenly via the QR code at the table which prompted my millennial friends and I to take a moment to learn and appreciate. There is a digital service fee and automatic service charge (at least for our group of 7).Mamak's restaurant atmosphere is bright with plant accents, and very clean which I think helps us to focus on the food and the people we are enjoying our meal with.

"Ordered to-go, from inside the restaurant and was greeted by a friendly worker. The menu is extensive so it took me a while to review it. The menu is only on one kiosk or online.I ordered the Lobster Bisque appetizer and it was bomb. Not one note for improvement. A+The Portobello Rasta Pasta needed more salt and more mushrooms. BThe Kale Wrap was a huge miss. It was small and bland. DI would most definitely eat here again, but I would order in advance. The wait time is a little extreme."
"This is a nice spot in Sandy Springs, great décor with indoor and outdoor seating and free parking. The staff was friendly, we just had their small plates. The Brussel sprouts I wasn't a fan of them they didn't have much flavor. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the cilantro lime chicken skewers."
"Do not come here for the customer service. I say again, DO NOT come here for the customer service. Now that we've got that out of the way...Yes, I eat vegetarian foods too!! This has been a staple in Atlanta's West End for a long time. I always grab a the three (3) item plate and a sorrel to drink. They also make smoothies. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring your empty gallon jug so you can re-up on your alkaline water."
"Came here during a visit to ATL on the advice of my daughter. DID NOT DISAPPOINT It's a plate of rice, veggies & vegan protein. The portion is large. The sauce is super tasty. It was VERY busy the night we went, waited about 20 minutes (same wait time as the other popular food stalls)Friendly service."
"I've been to Curry Up Now in Alpharetta, so decided to check out this Madison Yards location. There's free parking in the deck next door. It's fast casual, so we placed our orders at the counter before seating ourselves. The inside was very clean and had tons of space and seating. For 3 people, we went family-style and split the samosa chaat, 1 burnt chili garlic naan, pani puri, chicken 69, and vada pav. The food came out super fast which I appreciated! The samosa chaat was pretty flavorful, although I do prefer having the samosas already broken up and mixed. The naan was a little dry and not as fluffy as I would have liked. The pani puri was delicious and I loved the flavor of the vada pav and the buttery pav! The highlight of the meal though was the chicken 69. Hands down some of the best chicken 65 takes I've had. It was flavorful and had a great crunch on the breading. Overall, love both locations I've been to and can't wait to try more off the menu!"
"I've only had the "quesadilla" but man... it's so good! The service is pleasant but honestly, you'll spend years of your life waiting for them to finish "cooking" your food.My online order was supposed to be ready at 2:30. I got there at 2:45ish based on past experience and didn't get it til about 3.Mind you, no one else was in the restaurant. If they respected the concept of time, they'd absolutely be a 5, but the lackadaisical approach tops out at a 4ish for me."
"I was in the area for Fingerprinting & saw that I was pretty close to Chelsea's that I bookmarked ions ago. I like the concept of a buffet-style food, yet everything seemed to be heavily seasoned with Curry this & that. I got the BBQ Tofu & after a few bites, I was done. The Noodles reminded me of Rice a Roni, not a homemade Noodle dish & did nothing for me, same with the over charred Brussels Sprouts. I did eat all of the Mac & Cheese, yet it had a little too much Saffron or Curry as well. For a Bakery, the display case was limited & the Banana Bread was hard as a rock. 3rd star for the drinks, smoothies & Sea Moss. Service was rushed with the employee not really offering suggestions or guidance.I won't return."
"So good!! Healthy cuisine never tasted so great. Plant-based eating with loads of flavor. The employees and owner are kind. And the decor is fun and outdoorsy. Easy parking"
"The food was good as hell just like the reviews. This location in Summerhill was convient for me to just jump off the highway and park rt beside it..I ordered the OG and fries and it was ready within 15 min's. The friendly guy was so welcoming and even brought our food back to my truck. It was raining and we sat in the truck and ripped into our fries and that Sauce... Omg the freaking sauce both of them was on point!!! So happy we found another vegan burger joint that's not overcrowded and grass rooted with it's overall energy! Priced for what you get fresh toppings and honestly better than you know who!! It's a winner for us!!"
"I realize that many of my reviews begin with joy experience when finding a neighborhood gym and this verbiage is applicable for Bakari's as well. Navigating through Atlanta to find vegan food options for my visiting nephew became a challenge last Monday. We started with two popular eateries only to discover that one closed at 6 PM on Mondays and the other required ordering through their website. I was thoroughly disappointed to not share the experience of both venues with him and thankfully happened upon Bakari's. We were greeted by the workers and the beautiful decor upon entry. The menu offerings were vast enough to allow for options, including pizza, vegan wings, kale wraps and a variety of French fries. Our selections included half of pizza which had lots of vegetables, vegan buffalo wings made from cauliflower and the Killah Kale wrap which came with fries. Opted for few dollars up charge to get sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious! The flavors permeated throughout our selections. The kale wrap was perfect with just the right amount of spice. The sweet potato fries were really, really good. Yum! The cauliflower wings had good texture and will be added as a substitute for chicken wings. I enjoyed the buffalo flavor and plan to return to try the lemon pepper option. Back to the decor - artwork throughout. Vibrant colors accompanied the thoughtful design. The most impressive part of the Ari's was the customer service. The young lady who took our order shared details on menu items and answered all our questions. If she didn't have the answers, she deferred to the chef who was also present in the front and back of house. He also made a special batch of their house wing sauce for us, which had great flavor. Lastly, the hours of operation were conducive to late night weekends and a great option for dining in the West End!"
"Been seeing Envegan in other locations across town, so I was glad to see this one at Camp Creek Marketplace. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I like trying new things, so here we are. I have only tried the Black Bean Burrito and strawberry lemonade which were great, but they do offer a nice menu of sandwiches, burgers, bowls and other lighter fare items. Think: quinoa, kale, spinach, smoothies. The flavors are all there and I can't wait to try more items!"
"Decided to try this spot while I was in the area. It was just a vibe. We noticed people were coming and going, so I just knew the food would be good. When I got there I placed my order through their app. To my surprise they had and serve multiple restaurants from the location. Honestly, I think it's brilliant ! The plate was packed, stuffed with the side. The Mac n cheese is very good, you can taste the spices. The yams tastes like thanksgiving or Christmas. And the greens, yes lawd, add a little hot sauce and I'd think I made them myself. Chick'n nuggets are seasoned very well. It didn't take long to get the food and everything was contactless. There was a guy you could talk to if needed but ultimately, it was a contactless situation. Different but brilliant. There's like 8 restaurants in one location."
"There are four vegetarian Indian restaurants in this plaza at present. This one is notable for being upstairs and upscale. Numerous signs stated to take the elevator up to this restaurant, but it was down so one had to walk up some stairs. It was open on a holiday, but unsurprisingly busy. I got takeout, but there were chairs and tables unused on the balcony outdoors. They promoted their chole bhatura as being a signature item, and they did a great job with it. Even in takeout, an extra contained with pickled onions, a bit of chili pepper, and a lemon to squeeze were included. The chickpeas themselves were warmly spiced and bursting with flavor, and although I didn't get a really giant bread, two breads of reasonable size made for a large portion overall. I added a veg manchow soup, which came with separate crunchy noodles. It was salty and delivered a flavor fix that allowed me to skip the nearby Indo-Chinese place. They did forget my soup, but I wasn't too concerned about it as they rectified this quickly and it was a busy day for them. I wasn't sold on them being the best of many restaurants nearby, but I'd certainly like to come back."
"Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was instantly greeted. The young person that took my order knew his thing, making sure I understood the sizing of certain wraps and able to answer any ingredient questions. Respect for that. I ordered the Best Life, a spinach wrap with kale, carrots, mushrooms, chickpea salad, and other tasty and fresh ingredients. So good, though a bit spicier than I imagined. I also ordered a hibiscus ginger drink, also refreshing (though a bit pricy). I ate there and was very comfortable as 90's hip hop videos played to my right (w/sound) and a silent Bob Ross on the left. Yes kids, this is what they mean by nirvana. They were getting ready to close so I didn't sit around too long (even though I had a magazine on hand), but I'd easily come back to this place. Kudos to my conference friend for recommending it!"
"Don't let the location next to a gas station turn you away, as this Vegan gem of an eatery is everything. Royal Health World aka RHW highlights Plant-Based offerings, yet everything here is Vegan-friendly. The varied menu offers hot & cold sandwiches/wraps, salads, soups, all-day breakfast items & Friday Specials. The refreshing beverages include lemonades, pressed Juices, Smoothies, Teas, Sea Moss, Sorrel, Ethiopian Coffee. Our Order: *Tunah Melt - chickpea tunah, cheddar, pickled onion & dill aioli on a Ciabatta bread. 4 stars - creatively delicious. *Basil Avo & Veggie - roma tomato, red onion, cucumber, avocado, sprouts, purple cabbage, romaine lettuce & basil pesto on Sourdough bread. 3 stars due to the bread being slightly stale & hard. *Spicy T Rolls - chickpea tunah, purple cabbage, cucumber, sprouts, avocado wrapped in seaweed & spicy chipotle sauce. 4 Stars due to the concept & taste. *Fresh Ginger Tea & Watermelon (freshly pressed) Juice. 5 stars for all things refreshing. The food is creatively delicious with the perfect balance of spices & sauces. The price point balances out the raw & healthy approach of freshly made Vegan food. Aside from food, RHW offers health and wellness, immune booster & metaphysical products - crystals, gemstones, sage, oils, jewelry, artwork & candles. Honoring RHW & its mission is to create & promote holistic Vegan offerings."
"We are so glad this spot opened up near us. If you are a fan of healthy eating and of Mediterranean food, this is a must stop by spot. Everything is fresh and delicious. They have options for both meat-eaters and vegans which make it a great all-around spot!"
"I've eaten here a few years ago when they were Soul Vegan. I loved them then, and I love them now!As other Yelpers have attested to, large portions and scrumptious food. At a time when everything is so over inflated, it definitely feels great actually getting your money's worth. These meals can easily be split into two servings.I ordered delivery and my food arrived piping hot.I have no critiques. I am a fan!"
"Yummy's is the appropriate name for this hidden gem in Stone Mountain. We were spending our annual time away at evergreen resort and found them on Yelp - I'm a Yelper Ambassador! The Yelp reviews were a big help and definitely made it easier for us to decide on what we wanted and how the interaction would be with the family. The customer service was great, the family was very nice and the baby was adorable. Now the food, we both played it safe for our first meal and ordered the burrito, samosas and spring rolls. Everything was really good, except the spring rolls were a little to greasy for us. Because we enjoyed our first experience we went back again the next day and this time we were ready to dive into some other options. My wife had the nachos and I ordered the mushroom burger. Both were amazing!! However, the nachos were over the top with the spicy homemade salsa. The sweet potato fries were some of the best I have ever had, so definitely make sure you try them and let me know your thoughts. We are definitely putting Yummy's on our top list of vegan spots for us to eat at on a regular basis. I look forward to them adding some seating or moving to a larger location."
"This low-key restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Sandy Springs - on Hammond Drive across the street from the strip mall that contains Whole Foods. It occupies the venue that used to contain Loving Hut.It's a casual, warm, and welcoming vibe upon entry. There's a TV one on of the walls displaying the specials for the day as well as additional items (e.g., desserts).I also liked that the menu was reasonably straightforward in its layout, separating the vegan/vegetarian items from the other entrées. For lunch, it comes with a mulligatawny soup and choice of potential upgrade for certain appetizers/breads.The mixed vegetable dish was simple but tasty and filled me up much more than expected. The lamb vindaloo was comparably satisfying. Note that you can also specify the level of spiciness (mild, medium, hot) for your dishes.Service was friendly and straightforward. All in all, it was great for a quick fix to grab Indian food."
"I was craving comfort food and after the first place I went to ended up closing early, I ended up at Di-Vine Plant Based Cuisine. I ordered their plate that came with vegan chicken mixed with sweet chili sauce (wanted bbq but they were sold out), plantains, Mac & cheese and potato salad. Everything was so incredibly delicious and everything I wanted. The potato salad had a bit of a kick to it which I loved. The plantains were a little too soggy for my liking but that's just my preference. The vegan chicken was the perfect texture and although the sweet chili sauce wasn't exactly what I wanted... it was still good. The mac and cheese was different, in a good way, and I loved it. It also had a bit of a kick to it. Wish I had more now after writing this. The portion sizes were enough for two meals so I ended up having the rest for lunch the next day. And it was still just as good. If you're in the area, give this place a try vegan or not !"
"A much-needed addition to downtown Atlanta, this place is built around the idea that you can fit pretty much any diet by stir-frying some choice ingredients. Vegan and gluten-free diners will rejoice at the menu, because there's nothing on it that won't work.Upon walking in, there is ordering by kiosk. Normally, I find this a tad impersonal, but at a place like this where the whole point is customizing your order, it helps for clarity. There will be a bit of a wait since it's being made after you order, but the freshness will be worth it. I was mildly disappointed that they were out of tofu, but the breaded oyster mushrooms made a tasty substitute. With what they call jambalaya sauce and some red beans, I ended up with a bright, New Orleans-y flavor (but you would struggle to find vegan jambalaya in New Orleans; I've tried). It is a bright space with plant-focused decorations for those wanting to eat in, and is reasonably walkable from the capitol complex and other downtown sights."
"Found this Vegan Gem by searching Yelp for vegan restaurants in the area. This restaurant is located in the Chevron gas station plaza on the end. The black owned restaurant had a great selection of vegan food. I ordered the vegan beef and mushrooms which came with rice and peas, cabbage and a salad. The customer service was great the lady that greeted me was nice and friendly. The restaurant is intimate. They also have a hookah lounge and bar connected to the restaurant with an happy hour from 4pm-6pm. Definitely will come back!"
"This delivery option has some of the yummiest Thai food I've had in Atlanta. A vegetarian version of larb with fried tofu is rarely on Thai menus and Asian Vegan Kitchen's version is a knockout. The green curry with zucchini and tofu was as glorious as that dish can be. The vegan satay appetizer was also most worthy. Though a little pricey, this only-delivery-for-now kitchen should eventually have its own restaurant."
