I spoke with the creator of the cocktails and he is very welcoming and modest! Jennifer L. "I went here on Christmas Eve because literally NOTHING else on Moreland was open except fast food. It seemed I wasn't the only one stuck with this option as they were pretty busy...busier than I've seen.Parking was kinda messy because they have a very small lot behind the building and they were pretty much full, including douchebags they decided to park in two spaces, causing people to make their own spots/block in others. Not this place's fault so no stars lost for same.Menu - the menu was really boring and typical "wings and rice" combos that are all over ATL. They had a sign up of a list of items they no longer carry, which seemed longer than the list they do.The cashier was friendly and the prices were reasonable. The value for the money wasn't terrible, but it was just average. Nothing to rave about. Nothing to complain about. Will I go again? I won't make it a point to do so. Wing House on Boulevard is WAY better for a wings and rice combo."

Our waiter, Ricky, was fast and efficient and made great recommendations. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was the best I have eaten in Atlanta! My husband ordered the special, butternut squash ravioli with fried lobster. We also ordered calamari for an appetizer which was tasty. They also served complimentary cubed foccaccio which I thought was an interesting touch. Next time I am back, I will try dessert! This is a lovely place for date night or an evening with family. I would recommend reservations online as it is a small, intimate restaurant."

Instead of spending money on a bugie breakfast, we opted today to check out The Little Tart Bakeshop. Located in Grant Park (at least the location we went to) was spacious with a gorgeous interior. Loved the juxtaposition between the vintage wallpaper and the modern chic interior. This is the perfect spot to get caffeinated while doing work or spending times with friends/family. I ordered two of their spring items. The chocolate pistachio croissant and the strawberry matcha. Both beautiful in color and style and delicious too! I highly recommend both, while supplies last at least. My partner ordered a plain chocolate croissant and a salted caramel cold brew... basic I know but we're working on it. Haha! Service was fast and easy, but the line will get long before you know it so keep that in mind if planning on visiting during a more popular time frame (weekends). Highly recommend this bakery if you are a fan of breakfast pastries, coffee and much more!"

Mimi L. "I passed by here a couple weeks back and decided to stop in this past Sunday. There were a few people waiting and I talked to a regular since the restaurant opened she made suggestions which was everything on the smothered chicken plate. The corn muffin was fine rice cooked perfectly which was a plus chicken was a little over cooked for my liking and could have used more salt and the collards were just ok. Now for plate two I got this plate for my friend but of course I tried everything on it . The pork chops were good and still hot when I got to her house, the cabbage was good, the Mac and cheese looked like Kraft, but it did not taste like Kraft. It was nice and creamy and very flavorful I would definitely get it again the plate comes with 2 sides, I wanted Mac and cheese, but it was not ready when I placed my order, however; it was ready before I left so she gave me a cup which I appreciated. The dressing is a big no for me worst thing on both plates I would not order it again my friend agreed. We also had Carmel cake, but I forgot to take a picture. It was good as well. If you are in the area stop by and check them out."

It was in the area I was in and I was a little pressed for time so I didn't want to get side tracked in a grocery store. I PAID for the convenience. Catfish nuggets were $5.49 a pound...SHEESH! In short I bought 2 pieces of flounder filet and a 1/2 lb of catfish nuggets and it was almost $10. The man behind the counter wasn't well versed with his products...I wanted the white side only of the flounder and had to show him which was which. The bag includes indifferent employees, sometimes slow service, forgettable food (couldn't remember what I ate the first time I visited), delicious food (terrific lunch a few days ago), and hoards of b-school/law school students. Even past 2 PM, there were still many lunch diners. This isn't your Old Fourth Ward Highland Bakery. I've only been there once for brunch but I had such an awesome server and really adored my eggs Benedict. For a midday meal, I recommend the $8.99 Half & Half combo: 0.5 of a sandwich of your choosing and 0.5 of a spinach or house salad. The Highland Ham and Cheese sandwich was practically the size of a whole sandwich, and the spinach salad wasn't shabby in size or taste either. The strawberries, goat cheese, and walnuts were a nice touch in the latter. Really dug the crispy baguette and garlic mayo on the ham and cheese. If you want water, you have to pay 25 cents for a cup. I saw a lot of patrons with their own water bottles. And since I'm doling out tips, the experts tell me about ordering ahead online which sounds promising. Courtney M. "Grant Park Social is my new favorite bar. It's sleek, laid back, and intimate. The bartenders are cool, very conversational and they know their bourbon. Our drinks of choice were the pumpkin spice old fashioned (which they just debuted last week along with a pumpkin spice espresso martini), Mexican Mule (if you've read enough of my reviews you know this one was mine), and a 2oz. pour of Woodford Reserve Batch Proof -- 2022 Limited Edition 118.4 proof). Per the bartender, they're the only bar in the Southeast with a barrel of the Woodford Reserve. They're partners with The Beverly next door, which comes in handy. If you're waiting for a table at the Beverly (which usually has a long wait during sporting events or on weekends when they have live music) you can pop in Grant Park Social to have a drink while you wait. If you're still drinking when your table is ready, they allow you to take it with you. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday. It was pretty empty at that point, but by the time we left there was a decent crowd, which doesn't take many because the place is small. There are about 12 seats at the bar, two high tables that seat four ppl each, and then one section that has two small couches. Four people could fit in that area comfortably. Overall: I'm glad I found this spot. It's definitely a place to go on a laid back night for a good drink and conversation, without all the extra."

Slight confusion in getting here (1st Time) as it's located in the corner adjacent to a gas station storefront. Once you park & go inside...let the good vibes roll. The full-service restaurant & bar is bigger than what you anticipate. There's a quaint VIP (I presume) area to the right as soon as you walk in. The sprawling bar is donned with luxe lighting fixtures & decor with dedicated High-Top Bar tables. Once you pass the bar, you enter the spacious dining area & stage with two baby grand pianos for the perfect aesthetic. Food-wise, there's a lack of options for plant-based eaters. At this stage of burgeoning flexitarians, restaurants should offer at least the Beyond and or Impossible burger at this stage. However, their website does have a "Vegan Menu" page coming soon. With the proactive Carly on my side, I ended up with the Smoked Eggplant, tomatoes & garlic blended into a dip of sorts with grilled Pita points...with a side of French Fries. My musical BFF had Calamari & Grilled Salmon. The wine list is extensive as Carly introduce us to a new Cabernet - 'Austin Hope' & we were delighted with her suggestion as it pairs well with seafood. The menu is varied with lamb, ribs, poultry & seafood options - good portions & matchable prices. Acoustic Soul was the live music for the evening, a two-member cover band who did their thing with a diverse setlist. Good performance & interaction with the customers which made the sing-along more entertaining. An enclosed sidewalk patio will make its debut soon. Parking is available in the storefront parking lot & other options across the street. I highly suggest The Gaslight for its creative collection of live music, dancing, libations, late-night dining & Brunch amongst a luxe & speakeasy lounge backdrop.
