Amber M. "Oh, let me spill the shrimp-tastic beans about Mama Jane Seafood - it's a true seafood haven that tickled my taste buds and filled my belly with delight! First off, the owner, who's probably a long-lost relative of the friendliest crabs, was like a warm seafood hug on a chilly day. He welcomed me with open claws and made recommendations that rocked my seafood world! I took a plunge and ordered their shrimp boil - oh boy, it was an underwater fiesta! The shrimps were as fresh as a mermaid's breath and had this spicy kick that made my taste buds dance the salsa! Next up, the red beans and rice with fried shrimp - what can I say? It was an explosion of flavors, like a shrimp parade on a Mardi Gras float! And the cornbread and salad that came along were like the sea breeze, refreshing and oh-so-delicious! Now, let's talk about the turkey neck - it had me pecking away like a ravenous seabird! It was good, but let's be honest, it was like a salty sea adventure! But hey, even with all that saltiness, I couldn't resist gobbling it up - a true love-hate relationship! In a nutshell, Mama Jane Seafood is a seafood wonderland that will reel you in with its flavors. Despite the salty surprise with the turkey neck, I'm already planning my next seafood escapade at this place. So, if you're in the mood for a seafood fiesta, swim on over to Mama Jane's - it's worth every salty, spicy bite!"

Jamarcus T. "I still don't dine out as often as I did, pre-covid, so I'm always pleasantly surprised when I get an Uber eats order and the presentation of the food doesn't look disheveled, and looks like a great order. Won Kitchen Let's Bap came in my house already with 5 stars just from presentation alone. Will they keep that score?I ordered a few dishes for lunch and dinner. Here's what I got:Panko Chicken: $16.99Pork Fried Dumpling 5 piece ($11.99 but free with Uber deal)B1 plate: $17.99Presentation excluded, Won loads you up with food. I ordered two dishes because I wasn't expecting the size and ended up having leftovers the next day!Starting off with the panko chicken, this is their take on the chicken katsu, sliced in strips and crispy, even as leftovers. The dish comes with white rice but for $0.50 more you can get it fried, which is what I did. Pick your sauce listed and this bowl will fill you up completely! The flavor was great, nothing was over seasoned or mushy. I'd order it againThe B1 plate is described as a korean lunch box, that comes standard with fried rice, japchae and 2 pieces of pork fried dumplings. You get to choose your entree. I decided on Bulgogi beef, but you have the options to choose Crispy tofu, bulgogi chicken or Gochoo chicken. I loved that the bulgogi wasn't super sweet. Nice and tender with a decent serving size. Japchae was pretty standard, as was the fried rice. Finally, the Pork fried dumplings were on promotion for free with a minimum purchase, but I would have happily paid full price for them. Crispy and fat, filled completely with no air pockets in these. These 5 dumplings come with a soy dipping sauce and I enjoyed every bite.As this was an Uber order, I can't speak on customer service, dining, etc, but the food was good! I'll give them a solid 4 stars and next time I find myself near Won Kitchen (Let's Bap), I'll stop on in."

They have quite a few other menu options like crab legs, shrimp, and sandwiches. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. The fried trout was delicious and reasonably priced. The fried rice was also tasty. I also tried the Beef Bulgogi, but I didn't think it was enough food for this $14 dish. But, everything tasted great and fresh! I did take a star off for the ramen noodle dish. It was nothing spectacular and was just like the package from the grocery store. Overall, this is a great neighborhood spot with quality food. It being my first time, I asked one of the guys behind the counter for any recommendations or which items he liked. Unfortunately, he was absolutely of zero help in that department and offered no suggestions. Since I'm not a fan of macarons, but I love croissants, I decided to order an Almond Croissant. On our vacation in Atlanta we did half touristy stuff, but our main focus was to see the hidden gems that the locals go to. When you first walk inside ECB it looks like an old fashioned pharmacy/soda fountain. All of the employees are dressed to match the theme too. The bagel options are vast. Though they do not have a cinnamon raisin so don't come here prepared for one. You will be disappointed. My partner got a bacon egg and cheese on a blueberry bagel. I got a rosemary sea salt bagel toasted with cream cheese. Both were excellent. Seems this business does a lot of take out as they have an entire wall for online orders. There is not a whole lot of seating inside, so ordering to go might be the best option for some. ECB is definitely a hidden gem and I highly recommend stopping by! They cover all the basics when it comes to what people may want out of a bagel shop. White fish and lox are of course on the menu! If I lived close by this would be the spot I would come to all the time for my bagels. It's also very inexpensive for what you are getting."

All of that is okay. I don't have too much to say to be honest. It was quite tasty, but it was a bit on the expensive side at 18.95 per entrée. Denise G. "I have been entertaining a mad craving for a battered, fried pork chop for the last 3 months - so much so that I created a Nextdoor post about it. One of my neighbors responded and raved about this place so I decided to give it a try. Interior / ExteriorThey're located in an older strip mall on Powder Springs Rd - private parking lot - right across the street from Dollar Tree as you head towards the square. If you hit Kastaways, you come too far. The interior of the restaurant is sparse, but clean. Customer ServiceThe hit it out of the park on this one! Upon entering the establishment, I was enthusiastically greeted by a cute, tiny little lady - Miss Taneka (Miss Pat's daughter). She took my order and told me a little about their history. Miss Pat always loved cooking for family and friends ... and dreamed of having her own restaurant - and after she retired - they decided to make her dream come true! They've been at their location for 3 years (as of Feb 2022). After my second visit, I felt like we were old friends. Lol. We bonded over our love of Southern food and small fluffy dugs (I'm a 'Pom Mom' and she's a Yorky Lady) and fear of bats (don't ask - see my other reviews). I didn't get to meet Miss Pat (one of the Chefs / cooks AND the restaurant's namesake) until today and let me just say, "The apple did not fall very far from the tree!" Miss Pat was super sweet as well. We had a bit of mishap with the ribs from our previous visit. I wasn't able to reach them before closing Sat, so I messaged them. They close early on Sunday and are closed all day Monday, but they told me to come back in - satisfaction guaranteed! I went back today - Miss Pat and Miss Taneka could not have been more sweet, accommodating and gracious. Kay (Miss Pat's son, also one of the cooks and the Grillmaster) was a little brusque, but most chefs are like that. Lol. Price / AffordabilityI think the prices are very affordable - especially during the pandemic. If I'd realized that my pork chop meal came with one pork chop, I would have asked whether I could add another on, but I'm greedy when it comes to meat. Lol. Most dinners are $12 - $15, ribs cost more. They also have some $6.99 lunch specials. Food They have chicken, pork chops, BBQ, turkey wings, chitterlings (aka chitlins), oxtails and seafood (catfish, tilapia, whiting, shrimp). They also have a dizzying array of vegetables to choose from. In deference to many people's dietary restrictions , they don't heavily season the vegetables or use pork for flavoring. I love sautéd or 'fried' cabbage (I could eat it every day) and green beans, but they gotta have a little dash of bacon fat or chicken bouillon to jazz 'em up. On my initial visit, I ordered a pork chop meal (1 fried pork chop, french fries, mac & cheese, omitted the bread). I also ordered a slab of ribs. My macaroni & cheese was good, but it was a bit odd in that it was a single layer of mac & cheese. My french fries were dropped before grease was hot enough, so they were oily and limp - but that was fine - I didn't eat them so it saved me additional fat and calories. When I went back, I got pork chops, green beans, rice, gravy and corn muffins. The pork chops were outstanding both times. Seasoned perfectly, crispy coating outside, tender inside! I don't eat rice, gravy or cornbread (unless it's the deep South pancake style), so I'll let you know what J thinks later tonight. OverallI like this spot. There's a lot of variety on the menu and the customer service alone will keep me coming back!"

There's plenty of parking. Now on to the constructive criticism piece of my review bc I think this restaurant really needs some help.We came in on a Saturday night and the birthday boy's party was literally the whole place. There may have been maybe 7 additional customers. With that being said when his party walked in and sat down wherever(it was empty) he was told that we had to move bc the tables were "reserved". For who I don't know bc we were there until midnight and pretty much nobody outside of the bday boys party showed up lol. They didn't even bother to seat our party together. Second. Get a new DJOur waitress was very nice but she had no clue about the menu. She didn't know what was in any of their specialty drinks and the menu doesn't tell you either. I think even at the most basic level a waitress should know about everything that's on the menu if the place she is working. I asked for a French 75 and she didn't know what that was either so maybe this was her first waitressing job. Again she was super sweet though. The pasta is straight up oil so don't even bother ordering but the southwest egg rolls were really good. You guys need to make some changes to the menu. it's all over the place. Lastly, the bottle prices are ridiculous for the location. They're charging the same prices as Buckhead. Like we're in East Point lol. If I'm going to pay those prices I'd rather go somewhere where the vibes are much better. Honestly everything was overpriced for the quality and presentation. Navigating through Atlanta to find vegan food options for my visiting nephew became a challenge last Monday. We started with two popular eateries only to discover that one closed at 6 PM on Mondays and the other required ordering through their website. I was thoroughly disappointed to not share the experience of both venues with him and thankfully happened upon Bakari's. We were greeted by the workers and the beautiful decor upon entry. The menu offerings were vast enough to allow for options, including pizza, vegan wings, kale wraps and a variety of French fries. Our selections included half of pizza which had lots of vegetables, vegan buffalo wings made from cauliflower and the Killah Kale wrap which came with fries. Opted for few dollars up charge to get sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious! The flavors permeated throughout our selections. The kale wrap was perfect with just the right amount of spice. The sweet potato fries were really, really good. Yum! The cauliflower wings had good texture and will be added as a substitute for chicken wings. I enjoyed the buffalo flavor and plan to return to try the lemon pepper option. Back to the decor - artwork throughout. Vibrant colors accompanied the thoughtful design. The most impressive part of the Ari's was the customer service. The young lady who took our order shared details on menu items and answered all our questions. If she didn't have the answers, she deferred to the chef who was also present in the front and back of house. He also made a special batch of their house wing sauce for us, which had great flavor.
