"My boyfriend and I are always on a quest for tasty wings. After searching for some places online with good reviews, we came across BTJ wings. BTJ Wings is in the same parking lot as the Walmart and there was plenty of parking. Walking in, the place was crowded and there was a bit of a wait before we placed our orders. We got 20 chicken wings ($12.99) that were BBQ and Honey Lemon Pepper, an order of fries and I got a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak ($5.49). Although the restaurant was crowded, our food didn't take that long; it took about 15 minutes. When the lady brings you your order, she opens the container so that you can see your food. The fries aren't seasoned, but they have plenty of seasoning that you can add yourself (Garlic Powder, Season Salt, Ketchup, etc) at the counter. After going back to the apartment, we finally tried our food, and it was pretty good! The clear highlight of our meal was the chicken wings. The wings were small but had a lot of flavor to them. Since the wings were so cheap, we regretted not ordering more. The chicken philly steak wasn't bad, though the bread tasted somewhat stale. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone in search of good wings."

"Tried a breakfast sandwich here the other day as I was in the area and there wasn't much else around. I was pleasantly surprised by it and happy that the man running the small operation could whip up an item that was let even on the menu. The sandwich was tasty with a big hunk of sausage and came to about $7 which seemed fair. It wasn't busy there and it seemed like he had to turn on his equipment to get things working properly which probably explained why it took about 15 minutes to get the sandwich. K1 offers wings, hot dogs, and some southern staples at an affordable price. My only comment for improvement is that it was a little greasy for my liking but I'd definitely come back. They also told me they are open late night so if you get a hankering and what to support local Black owned business, come check it out"

"This is a hip little restaurant that serves some very unique eats. It is located near Olympic Park and there is metered street parking available. There are also commercial lots within a reasonable walking distance. The staff there was friendly and they do not accept cash payments. You can only pay with a card. They serve sloppy wings, sloppy fries, sloppy burgers, lamb chops, shrimp, egg rolls and salmon. You can get them all drench in the signature sauce flavor of their choice.There is an adequate sized dining room that has a few board games available to play. They have hip-hop and R&B music playing throughout the dining room. The place was jumping when the dance remix of Anita Baker's No one in the World started playing. I will say that it took them a while to clean the tables in the dining room after someone left.I ordered 6 wings in 24K sauce and a grilled chicken and cheese egg roll. They have some delicious lemonades that you can purchase to wash down your meal. It took about 15 minutes for me to get food. The wings were small, but they were drenched in the sauce. They were delicious. I was not really a fan of the egg roll. It was ok, but I was really not craving it. I recommend checking this place out for some good food with quality service. I highly recommend their wings. They have a hip vibe and atmosphere. I am glad that I was able to check this place out."

"Tried the new Korean place today in Grant Park where Farm Burger was and really enjoyed the experience. We tried the soy garlic 8 jumbo wings. We also tried the egg rolls with the sweet chili sauce and the regular fried rice. With our family of four with this food, plus a shared honey garlic chicken sandwich, it was plenty of food. The sandwich was amazing and probably a highlight. Wings were also big with a very delicious sauce and the crispy friedness left a savory wanting-more-ness in my mouth. I like that nothing was spicy since we had our kids with us. Egg rolls were fine and fried rice was the right combination of not greasy while still flavourful. You can also add proteins to the rice and choose from a variety of bowls featuring classic Korean dishes like Bibimbap and some combo options. I'd be curious to try the fries next time as the chef/owner James, who was very welcoming, told me they'd be rotating the menu options regularly. The menu is not huge which I appreciate as it makes ordering simple. Finally, their deserts are homemade and the little macarons we tried were amazing. They had Nutella, chocolate, cookies and cream, and we tried all of them. They are super dense, rich, and impressive. Our total came to around $40. I expect that they will only up their game once they do their real opening. Happy to have another interesting restaurant in the neighborhood."

Each dinner came with rice and soup. The portions were a great size.Our food was delicious. There wasn't one bite left! The delivery went smooth too. We got a call offering to bring it up or meet in the lobby.When we ordered we were quoted a 45 min wait but it was closer to 30 min. It gave us time to settle in and my youngest got a quick dip in the pool. Had we left for dinner, the drive and wait would've been similar. And, it was so nice to relax in the room."

The sprouts (which I feel are served at every millennial-friendly restaurant these days) were perfect. The oysters were great and served wirh two mignonettes (garlic and pomegranate) and they went down easy.Get the spicy tuna avocado bomb. It's exactly what you expect and despite my deftness with chopsticks, I recommend getting at it with a fork and knife. Sashimi was fresh and cut thick to get our money's worth. The dragon roll used real crab which was a nice touch. Drink selection was great with an impressive wine list (much like sister restaurant two urban licks).This restaurant is styled in a very industrial manner without feeling cold. Love a big, open kitchen and the whole place smells like good food being prepared. Love paying my check by phone especially when pricing is fair. No doubt this is a pricier spot but I feel like we got a lot for the money.This place is a winner - 5/5 we'll be back."

On that menu, it showed the price as $12.99. However, when I went to place my order it was actually $14.00.After placing my order online, it told me that the pizza would be ready for pickup in 30 minutes. I like my pizza straight out the oven hot so I planned to arrive 10 minutes early. Well, to my surprise, my pizza was already ready when I arrived. To my disappointment, the pizza was just placed on a rack (like what you'd find at Costco). There were no heat warmers etc, like what you'd find your pizza from Pizza Hut placed in. That's a huge downside - your pizza quickly cools off at room temperature! Although my pizza wasn't cold, it wasn't exactly "hot" either. And that was with me arriving 10 minutes before my pickup time!The pizza itself was delicious - hence the four stars. I would eat here again, but only if I was dining in."

Everything else is hand written. i.e.-wings are cooked crispy, no talking on your cell while ordering and several other signs including a new flavor to try. No dining in, you walk up to place your order and then wait for your food. We chose to wait in the car and I saw a couple of other people do do as well. One woman chose to wait on the bench. I ordered the Blazing Asian. Loved them! I love when people get the spice factor right. It had the right amount of heat and maintained really good flavor. The fries were really good too. My friend and I were out for a little not so I got a few bites while it was still hot but the majority I ate room temperature. Still really good. Definitely recommend this place!"

While waiting for my pizza, I was able to laugh and joke a little bit with the people at the front, so it was honestly a mistake I assume. They seem very good natured, But that does not make me ignore the fact that I had to sit there and wait for 5 minutes, especially don't have anybody else to serve.Now I only came for a slice of pizza, I got the pepperoni because it looks like all they had was pepperoni and cheese out. I do have different types of pizza but I guess it just depending on what time you come and what's available.Go get the pizza you want and put it in the oven to heat back up for you. He is always quick to make suggestions, as the menu is quite diversified with very good options for a quick bite. It is my place to go, when not interested in cooking or been lazy. Great food and good value for your pocket. They never disappoint and they keep the place clean and maintain neat too.My favorite item so far on their menu is the Fried Whiting Fish. A bit salty for my taste, but worth every bite. Their Chicken Wings and French fries rock, add a bit of their seasoned salt to better taste.
