"One of several Bangladeshi restaurants in this area, I was surprised to find that this one had Hare Krishna music going and was quite vegetarian-friendly. Indeed, with a variety of tofu-based options in addition to some of the more usual dishes from the Indian subcontinent, there was an abundance of choices. My takeout took a little longer than I expected, but clearly some work went into it, with deliciously prepared dishes well packaged to avoid any sort of spillage. My soup was garnished with fried onions and was robustly flavor, my tofu deliciously fried, and the noodles on the side were of ramen-like quality with some distinctive spices. Ordering an extra rice dish was unnecessary, but I'll find a use for it. They had an okra and lentil combination which I've not seen before, but it was as spicy as I asked for and quite filling and delicious.Everyone else was getting takeout as well, but they had a small but reasonably nice dining room and a larger banquet room next door."
"Himalayas is delicious. Also, the owner is so sweet and funny and makes you feel so at home. Everyone who works there is so kind!We had a party of 5 at 7:30 on a Sunday night. It took a while for the food to come out, but the appetizers helped! They have a great patio for outdoor seating with cafe lighting! In the winter, they have heat lamps. There is street parking and also a lot off of Pierce Drive. Here's what we got:- Veggie Samosas ($6 for 2): Very good! The samosas were a good size too!- Chana Puri ($10): Good!- Panir Masala ($14): Delicious! After the samosas and the chana puri, we had some leftover!- Naan ($3, 2 orders): Sooo good, especially dipped in the masala sauce! They are very willing to customize dishes - one person got half tofu and half panir masala. Good prices, good food, good portions. Highly recommend!"

"Came in as I kept walking by this place and the smells attract you. The decor is nice and simple. The staff was very helpful and seemed to really enjoy working there. We tried a few different dishes and nothing was a disappointment. All the food was fresh and just delicious. This is now my go to Indian restaurant."
"I've only ever got take out from here so cannot speak to the restaurant ambience. The delivery is always quite quick for Indian food though, I love that!!THE AVAKAI CHICKEN DUM BIRYANI OH MY GOD. Such authentic South Indian flavors. I am so particular about Indian food but this avakai tasted exactly like the one we eat at home. The taste is SO worth the price. I just wanna eat this biryani for every meal now and cannot stop thinking about it. It was spicy in the best way and every bite packed so much flavor. If you're craving biryani, pls look no further. This biryani is so ridiculously delicious. My only note would be, the chicken is boned so you don't get too much food for the money you pay but trust me the taste is worth it. (I've heard that the Vijaywada boneless biryani is not as good, so If you're eating here maybe skip that and get the avakai dum biryani!)"
"Had to give 4 stars because they didn't give us our veggie samosa even though I confirmed it twice and we didn't notice till we got home. So that made me sadOtherwise we got the mojo which was tasty, the garlic naan (yum) and the lamb curry. We got it all to go since it was right before closing. They were very nice and accommodating and didn't take long to wait."
"This was my first time trying Alfah, an Indian and Chinese food fusion restaurant, and I thought my experience went pretty well. I was with my family and we were the only people dining it at the time for a late lunch. There were a few people that came in but I think they were just ordering take out. We ordered main dishes: chicken tikka masala, mutton biriyani, chicken 65, and palak dal. We also ordered beef, chicken, and veggie samosas and gulab jamun. Positives/favorite dishes: mutton biriyani, chicken 65, and palak dal, veggie samosa. Spice level was great, it really sneaks up on you! Portion sizes for each dish are large enough to feed a family of four! Least favorite: beef and chicken samosa- both samosas did not have much flavor and wasn't our favorite.Chicken tikka masala- we didn't like this dish as much as the others was because it wasn't creamy enough and it did not come with plain rice. I also did not like the fact that some dishes did not come with rice... we did order garlic naan and that was very good but I believe that all dishes (that aren't rice/noodle dishes) should come with plain rice. Overall, i had a great experience and i would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!"
"Great spot for food and drives. They offer a long list of refreshments. I saw so many street food options, I'll have to come back and try more. My date got a chicken dish and I got the Thali. Def get the Samosa trio. Can't wait to come back."
"Came by here for dinner the other day with my sister.***ATMOSPHERE***Very clean, quiet and nice inside! There is some seating but not tons. It wasn't crowded at all though! ***STAFF***The staff was beyond friendly! She was so helpful and answered all of our questions. We even wanted some pita, which they didn't have but she recommended another bread that they had instead! And as we left she was asking how we enjoyed the meal and was just very above and beyond / genuinely nice! Definitely makes you want to come back after such a pleasant experience!***FOOD***Very good! I really enjoyed my rice and curry! It was very flavorful and the portion size was filling! ***PRICE***Around 10$ for a meal. Definitely a good price for the size and the quality! It doesn't feel like fast food but it is a quick counter service place. ***CONCLUSION*** Will definitely be a regular here as it is within walking distance from me! If you do need to park, you can park for 2 hours in the parking garage to the right of here for free :)"
"Despite me patronizing numerous Indian, Pakistani, Nepali, Sri Lankan, Burmese, and other restaurants devoted to various neighboring regional cuisines, this was my first time trying a Bangladeshi restaurant. Apparently Atlanta's suburbs must host a decent community because there are several such businesses in a small stretch. I tried the most established one.I was pleased to discover that ordering online offered a robust 25% off the list price. My GPS took me to a market with a small takeout inside, but apparently online orders are sent to a separate restaurant next door. This would seem to be a common issue, but even they seemed a bit confused by the situation. I walked across the beat up parking lot to the other building and found my food waiting. While the cuisine of Bangladesh appears to be less vegetarian-friendly than most of the subcontinent, I thought it would be worth trying their take on biryani. I was right. A luxuriously spiced creation that reminds you that this is the part of the world where spices come from, this dish excites the tastebuds. I was a little miffed there was no chickpeas or other beans thrown in for more protein content, but it was delicious enough that I didn't care. A samosa was tasty as most of them are, but was notably enhanced by a complex hot sauce. My separate ordered of chickpeas was strongly flavored and spicy as well.I got a ton of food for my money, and despite the limitations of this place, it was an interesting experience. I may be inclined to try out its neighbors before I return to see what else the cuisine has to offer."
"I'm not sure I should be giving 5 stars given my digestive issues that night but my weak stomach isn't yours. Service and food were excellent and the restaurant, while not unique or very pretty, is classy and pleasant for dinner. Came here for our anniversary. We started off with their Brussels sprouts appetizer and I got their spiced old fashioned. The app was similar to a tuna tartare in the way it was served. Very unique for Brussels and tasted delicious. The old fashioned was superb. Loved it. For my entree, I went with their specialty that was made with chicken. Let me start with that it was delicious. I loved this. Spicy and full of flavor. I would absolutely eat this again IF I could turn back the clock and be in my 30s. Unfortunately, my 40s have brought with it a digestive system that simply can't handle what younger me could handle. And here, they don't ask you for your spice level. They make it the way it's supposed to be made, which is Indian spicy. Don't get me wrong-I loved it and actually brought home the leftover sauce. But it was difficult on my system. I would love to come back and just try a standard tikka masala or butter chicken. Something that I know won't rip a hole in my intestines. Old age sucks. But Tabla is superb."
"There are four vegetarian Indian restaurants in this plaza at present. This one is notable for being upstairs and upscale. Numerous signs stated to take the elevator up to this restaurant, but it was down so one had to walk up some stairs. It was open on a holiday, but unsurprisingly busy. I got takeout, but there were chairs and tables unused on the balcony outdoors. They promoted their chole bhatura as being a signature item, and they did a great job with it. Even in takeout, an extra contained with pickled onions, a bit of chili pepper, and a lemon to squeeze were included. The chickpeas themselves were warmly spiced and bursting with flavor, and although I didn't get a really giant bread, two breads of reasonable size made for a large portion overall. I added a veg manchow soup, which came with separate crunchy noodles. It was salty and delivered a flavor fix that allowed me to skip the nearby Indo-Chinese place. They did forget my soup, but I wasn't too concerned about it as they rectified this quickly and it was a busy day for them. I wasn't sold on them being the best of many restaurants nearby, but I'd certainly like to come back."
"I really enjoyed my meal here at India Eats! I see on their website that they have having a Grand Opening special, so this place must be pretty new. Well, welcome to the neighborhood! We got the Butter Chicken, Veggie Biriyani, Tandoori Chicken, and Garlic Naan, and none disappointed! The butter chicken was tender, the sauce was top tier (creamy, rich, with a bit of sweetness). The tandoori chicken was smoky was went so well with the yogurt dipping sauce. The veggie biriyani was packed with veggies (potatoes, peas, and beans). And the garlic naan had a crunch I've never experienced before! The staff was all super nice, and gave us advice on the best ways to enjoy the food. I even caught of glimpse into the kitchen, and it really felt like a home kitchen. Those always make the best meals. All in all, it's great to see a new restaurant arrive, and even greater to have it taste so good!"

I'm not sure where else you can find amazing Indian restaurant that is Open until at least 1:30 AM almost every single night! Thanks to yelp! I found this hidden gem while my fiancé and I were trying to have a very late dinner as per usual for us. This restaurant is located right next to Crawfish Shack and a very popping/loud hookah lounge. Our server was So courteous! He even opened up the door for us as we were leaving. I suspect he may have been one of the owners or at least the manager of this place. He made excellent recommendations and treated us as if we were the only ones in the room, which we were LOL. However his demeanor was so friendly that I can see him treating everyone like this way. He even offered us more rice at no extra charge and packed everything up nicely for us when we left.We ordered the chicken 65, chicken masala, an eggplant dish, and garlic naan. Now everything was absolutely delicious and very hearty! The garlic naan was definitely one of my favorites. Such a good late night food find! Will definitely be back!

So much bang for your buck! It was about $50 total for 1 order of vegetable samosas, 2 orders of garlic naan, and 3 entrees which each came with basmati rice: Saag Paneer, Vegetable Korma, and Daal Makhani. The portions are plentiful, and the flavors are delicious. I took it to go, but the restaurant seems comfortable and casual, and the service was friendly. We will definitely be back for more!

Came for dinner and got one of the curry dishes. It was excellent. Service was good too. The only complaint was the dessert. Rice pudding was more like watery rice gruel. Otherwise the food was excellent.

Bawarchi Biryanis is a very solid option when it comes to Indian food in the Sandy Springs area. Although it is nowhere near the best Indian food I've had, their wide range of options and location has made this my local Indian stop. The food in general is decent and pretty authentic, with plenty of room for improvement. Just as a disclaimer, all of my experiences with Bawarchi have been with the take-out side of the restaurant. Bawarchi is one of the few Indian places I know that have a dining room, but also a separate side for take-out orders. I love this concept, and lots of other people seem to buy into that. I realize that the quality of food is not quite the same if you bring it home, rather than eat at the restaurant. However, given that all of my orders come from this side, I think they should prepare for this the best they can, and they do a decent job for the most part. I've been able to try a lot of different things in a few visits because of the variety of food that is on offer. They have meat dishes, vegetarian dishes, chicken, and lamb. Their cuisines range from traditional Indian food to dishes with Chinese influence and even Szechuan flavors. In general, I think their curries are right in the middle of the pack with all other curries I've had. The quality seems to lack a little consistency across the board. Their egg curry was jam packed with flavor, but a little oily. Meanwhile, their palak paneer was on the bland and watery side. On the positive end, their butter chicken was fantastic. The curry is rich and flavorful, and the chicken is tender. This only scratches the surface of their curries as I haven't even had a chance to touch the goat curries. But from previous experiences, I can't anticipate what the quality will look like. In terms of dry chicken dishes, I found them to be decent, but missing something. The malai tikka kebab had good flavor, but was a little dry. Their chicken 65 was a little disappointing. Not only was it dry, it also needed some extra seasoning, or even more breading. I think a sauce or a chutney really would have elevated both dishes. They also serve noodles here, I got the Indo-Chinese hakka noodles. They were good, but I was not blown away by them. Their take-out system seems to work for them, but one thing that might help them out is a notifying system. They tend to give a really rough estimate about when your food is ready, but if it is done quicker then your food just sits around, thus ruining the quality. I think if they implemented a phone number tracking system it could keep the organization levels high, while ensuring the food is the highest quality during transaction. My goal with Bawarchi now is to continue to go through the menu until I find the perfect combination of items for a perfect Indian meal. Once I can settle on a few items that are consistently good, then it will become my go-to meal. It may take me few times to figure it out, but I know Bawarchi will come through for me!

We are madly in love with this restaurant! The food is amazing. The service is incredibly sweet. Ambience is not glamorous. But super clean. Clarkston rocks. This place extra rocks. Go!

It was a late night, and I was in the mood for something exotic for dine in. Alfah closed at 11PM, so I figure I'd give it a try. As I walked in, there was a buffet at the back of the restaurant, and it looked like I was crashing a family party. The two little ladies on staff confirmed it was a private event, so for me, it would be take-out only. The menu looked great, and I said I would be back some day. "What's wrong?," they asked, expecting me to order. I explained that if it had to be take-out at this hour, then I might as well just go home and fix a sandwich myself for free. Then they switched gears and insisted I dine in!So, I snuggled into a booth as the other patrons gave me curious looks. I ordered dal tadka ($7.99) and butter nan ($2.49) X2. Although the dal tadka was not as thick as I usually like it, the spices exuded a delightful aroma, and the stew warmed me up inside. As I started to run low on the nan, I regretted not ordering the Chicken Dum Biryani instead ($12.99) because I could have gotten more food for about the same price of my total order. Then again, I didn't want a heavy meal that hour.As the party around me wound down, I noticed the buffet still had trays half full of food. Not wanting anything to go to waste, it was my ethical duty to pull one of the little ladies aside and inquire whether I could sample some before they threw it all away. She clarified that they would divvy it up among themselves but still offered me a taste of mutton biryani. The biryani was fantastic, just like I've had before in Hyderabad! The rice was fluffy, steamy, aromatic, and loaded with spiced up meaty mutton goodness! As I finished the biryani, the little lady stopped by again and asked if I wanted more before they took the trays to the back. What a golden opportunity! But of course! I asked for a bit of the Chicken 65 this time. Even though their version was a tad saucier than usual, it was the best I've had in Atlanta! The spices were complex, abundant, and packed with zest...just like in India!Under this new management since May 2023, they've pared down the menu. You won't find haleem, dosas, kababs, or chats anymore. Still, the new menu is enough to make it interesting, including Indo-Chinese food! I appreciate that the little ladies were so kind and generous with the samples. Maybe I'll try the Chicken Dum Biryani next time!

I was walking in the area and I could smell the food from the outside. I've been wanting to try this place for a while so I decided to finally try it. The employee was very helpful with assisting me with my order. I ordered a bowl with rice, lettuce, chicken tikka, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers. Highly recommend this restaurant.

"This was a great find for us! We drove right past it on Decatur St. and had to circle back to find the parking lot. The food counter is at the back of the market. You can order food from the Melt menu in the same order as your Curry House order.I was recommended the Naanwich when as soon as we entered the market space. Then affirmed at the counter when I ordered it. The sandwich certainly delivered. Acelyn went with the butter chicken. This counter-service style offering puts out a mean curry. Service was attentive and friendly. We are certain to return!"
"This place is in a slightly separate area from the famous Patel Plaza conglomeration of restaurants; it's kind of hard to get into due to construction on the road, so I actually parked at the plaza and walked over.It seems like everyone that posted pictures of this place got the chana bhatura. And when I walked in, the place was crowded despite the off hour, and there were a lot of chana bhatura tables. Indeed, one couple just got two orders of this. So I'm not being overly creative by saying I ordered the chana bhatura. But it is every bit as good as it looked. The freshly puffed bread and the complex and slightly spicy chickpeas would be a meal by themselves, but this place really does it right with accompaniments. I got a fried chili pepper and a fresh one on the side with some pickled vegetables that add a wonderful contrast of flavors and textures. One of the best renditions of this dish I've ever had, and I've had, and I've had lots. Ordering a chai wasn't a bad decision either; it came with some little cookies for dipping and while there was sugar on the side, it was flavorful enough without. This place was bustling despite ample competition. The rest of the menu looks full of delicious vegetarian specials. The name on the door speaks of sweets, but if I'm being honest, I've never really gotten into Indian desserts despite having tried several. But come for the savories for sure."
"This is a local fave!!Service here was welcoming, Warwick and efficient! Food came out quickly, good portions and they will prepare entrees to the spice levels you desire. In all my years of coming year I have never had a bad meal. All the nan is also made to order. Garlic and the cheese are my favorites. They also serve beer and wine. Decor is traditionally Indian and very beautiful!"
"Planet Bombay is a great place to get Indian food at a reasonable price! I'm particularly fond of their Malai curry, which is coconut-milk based. Their vegetable samosas are also excellent. The waitstaff is extremely friendly, really some of the nicest waiters I've had anywhere! They seem to do mostly takeout, but they have a comfortable and light-filled dining room. I'd definitely recommend Planet Bombay for some delicious Indian food!"
"Serious Indian takeout with serious spice, we loved our recent order from Bawarchi. I am always on the lookout for Indo-Chinese, and was intrigued by this spot's wide selection. We went with an order of gobi Manchurian and chili paneer, both of which were delicious and oh-so-spicy (buyer beware). We rounded out our order with tasty paneer tikka, dal tadka, a nice light raita to cool things down, and a couple of perfect tandoori naan. On top of it being delicious, it was a great value and lasted for days. A new favorite for Indian takeout."
"First timer : wanted to give a 3.5 but gave 4 ! To start with , fantastic location. Pretty close to GTech and right next to few other shops .... They have very few seats indoor and few outdoors. Was very cold today and had to sit indoor.. only 4 families can sit in. Hope they can put more tables / chairs indoors ... Food was ok . For this location, getting Indian food was great but it was less Indian and more American food . Everything was sweet catering to locals . Veggie bowl was ok. We got 2 bowls and both tasted OK . The rice was a bit dry .. paneer was good . 10$ for a bowl wasn't bad . Price wise it was cheaper than other big Indian restaurants. Good for students to have a bowl, once in a while . Overall average food and fantastic for students !"
"Looks aren't everything! = Ambiance is bland. There's nothing wrong with it but nothing to write home about neither. = My recent enthusiasm for uttapam lead to this MM visit. Unfortunately it was disappointing. It was probably the most bland Indian food I've had in 20 years! This is supposedly South Indian! My vegetarian Indian friend got their dosa and said his dish too was mediocre. Baffling is the Yelp rating. + Price is reasonable ++ Service is prompt and friendly.+ Parking is a shared lotPerhaps it was an off night and I may give them another try.MY RATINGS- - - Inhumane- - Disgusted- Don't bother= Missed the Mark+ Good++ Better+++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!"
"Since Ponce City Market opened in 2014, few establishments have managed to remain throughout the entire time. Botiwalla is one of them. An outpost of the better known Chai Pani restaurant in Decatur, Botiwilla aims to bring a small, but carefully crafted menu of Indian street delicacies to this industrial space. The wraps in naan are generally the go to item. Always constructed well, without skimping on ingredients, they are a decadent street food that's sure to satisfy. Where things could be better is that the chicken tends to be overlooked and slightly tough. The same can be said about the lamb, which is usually on the tougher side. The rest of the preparation is great, with fresh ingredients that are sure to satisfy. Botiwilla does not have draft beers, but Taj is available in big bottles. The establishment is always clean and staff are friendly. Thus, can't go wrong here. If only the protein preparations got a bit better, Botiwalla has the potential to be a landmark in the city."
"This low-key restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Sandy Springs - on Hammond Drive across the street from the strip mall that contains Whole Foods. It occupies the venue that used to contain Loving Hut.It's a casual, warm, and welcoming vibe upon entry. There's a TV one on of the walls displaying the specials for the day as well as additional items (e.g., desserts).I also liked that the menu was reasonably straightforward in its layout, separating the vegan/vegetarian items from the other entrées. For lunch, it comes with a mulligatawny soup and choice of potential upgrade for certain appetizers/breads.The mixed vegetable dish was simple but tasty and filled me up much more than expected. The lamb vindaloo was comparably satisfying. Note that you can also specify the level of spiciness (mild, medium, hot) for your dishes.Service was friendly and straightforward. All in all, it was great for a quick fix to grab Indian food."
"This review is for takeout only. We placed our order online (they give a code for 10% off!). Ordering online was very easy, although a little slow to load, and they include questions to make sure they prepare the food to your liking. I selected for it to be ready ASAP, and the only issue was that they didn't clarify when it would be ready, so we had to call. It was ready in 15 minutes. The prices on the website are not consistent with what we were charged. They need to update their prices. The service was great. One person held the door open for us as we carried our food out, which was very sweet. Here's what we got:- Chana Puri ($5.99): Very small portion for the price. Not as tasty as we've had at other restaurants. Disappointed.- Tandoori Naan ($2.99 on website, but charged us $3.49): Fine.- Chicken Tikka Biryani ($13.99 on website, but charged us $15.95): Pretty dry. The small container with the yogurt sauce was not enough for the whole dish. Would not get again. Very big portion though. - Paneer Tikka Masala ($12.99): Very good.If we were to go back, we would stick to the Paneer Tikka Masala and would try a Samosa."
"I really like this place. I love the service, the little added touches and of course the food. Tonight we had chicken shingara, chicken tikka, and the wings. All were excellent! Hubby got a mulligatawny soup which I said no to bc I haven't really liked it in the past. With his bowl the waiter brought 2 small silver bowls and spoons (ex of little touches) and since he brought them hubby gave me a taste. Wow!!! Besides wow I'll just say that we ordered one to go it was so good! I'll drive across town just for that. Go to this place. FYI Not sure if you can bring your own but there is no alcohol served here. Oh! They also served a complimentary dessert which was lovely and a nice treat and the perfect way to round out the meal."
"I liked this place. It is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, near some old Federal/courthouse type building. It is a few blocks from Peachtree Street. I met a friend here for lunch before doing a walking tour. The shop is a straightforward, no frills sort of place. They have a small dining area with multiple booths and a couple of tables up front, and a counter at the back where you order. There is a menu board above the counter. The guy behind the counter was friendly and engaging. The food is then brought out to your table after you order. I got a gyro and fries and enjoyed them. This place is well worth a stop for a quick lunch if you are in the area."
"This is my second visit to Blue India. My first was for a Yelp event. If you're looking for a Pan- Indian fare and cocktails with an upscale dining experience, then this would be it. The ambiance is very chill and cozy, and the staff is always helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It is located in the Metropolis residential lobby with a few other restaurants. The food is very flavorful. My favorite dish is the Chicken Tikka Masala, but I decided to switch it up for the Chicken Sixty-five and the salmon bites with a side of garlic Naan. The only downside to the Chicken Sixty-five is that the dish can't be altered in spice level. I like my Indian food very spicy, and this dish is just tossed in a mild chili sauce. I would definitely circle back and get it again regardless. Blue India also validates your parking for two hours, so be sure to bring your ticket with you."
"New place, or so we assumed by the "now open" signage. (We're from out of town.) The cafeteria style, fast causal setting was easy to follow. The staff was nice and service was fast. I chose the largest rice bowl. You get to choose a base (two types of rice or greens), a protein (curries) and then topping like shredded veggies, fried goodies like samosas or potato cakes, and sauces. You could also choose some flat breads on the side. Portions are fair, spices are there, and overall, a very versatile meal. Veg friendly, vegan friendly, could make it super 'unhealthy' with lots of fried add ons, or go fresh with raw veggies on top! My dining partners were pleased as well. We ate outside on the patio which was pleasant. Not a stellar meal but overall worth a try! Go check it out!"
"So, if you follow me you know I am NOT a negative guy. I want to help everyone improve. Came here over the weekend and was a bit disappointed. The place is clean and very well taken care of. The ambiance was Hindi music videos playing. No problem. Sat down and our waitress came to check on us. We poured ourselves water and never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We were asked if we wanted to order. So we placed our order. Wife got buttered chicken and buttered naan. I ordered the weekend special chicken biryani. I was so excited because I love biryani. The food came and the portions are extremely generous. I will give that a five star. I was ready to dive in and was told it was spicy. No problem. I dug in and the first bite was so salty. I thought I maybe had the one spot. Kept eating and it got saltier. I could not eat it at all. I eat everything and left almost all of it. The waitress never checked on us and didn't ask me anything about the food. We paid and left. I wanted to like it so bad because everything else was awesome."
"Got an order delivered to me, which is usually an awful idea because the quality just isn't as good. But after flying back, i didn't have the energy to get it myself. The food was bomb. I'm only mad that I didn't order more. The niramish style wings have a Chinese sweet and sour tang, but the warmth of Indian spices. I dig them. I sautéed up some shredded cabbage in the leftover sauce and it was everything. Although my go to is usually butter chicken (SO. BASIC. I know. I embrace it.), but I decided to change it up and order the chicken rogan josh (medium spicy). It was everything I asked for. A nice, rich gravy with tender meat and crisp vegetables. It was a little too spicy for me but luckily, I ordered the raita to help cool it down. Chana bhaji were perfectly cooked chickpeas that were so flavorful. I rounded the meal out with some naan. Definitely a satisfied customer."
"The first time I visited Curry Up Now, I was immediately impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and friendly service. The second visit confirmed that this is a place worth returning to. On both occasions, my meal exceeded expectations, leaving me eager to explore more of their menu. While I can't recall exactly what my friends ordered, I do remember how engrossed I was in my own dish. The flavors were bold and authentic, showcasing a perfect balance of spices. The portions were generous, ensuring that every bite was satisfying. Curry Up Now has consistently delivered a delightful dining experience. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, you'll find something to make you happy here."
"I truly didn't have Biryani Point on my radar when I was cruising around Clarkston looking for a snack. I literally drove past it, saw it, and immediately turned into the busy strip lot. What I couldn't believe is that there was actually no review or page for Biryani on yelp! With expectations in check, I walked on in with fingers crossed! So interior wise, this place is very spacious, and if you google it, you'll see several parties have been held here. There's a small handful of arcade cabinets to the left, and a series of flat screen televisions hanging from the ceiling. You really have no problems with a large group! After checking the menu, I ordered the following:Chicken 65 ($10.99)Veggie samosas ($3.99)When I initially saw the price, there was a bit of sticker shock. 16 bucks for basically two appetizers was a whoa moment. When I got my food however and looked at the amount of food, I quickly realized that not only was the price fair, but it was a bit of a bargain!, The Chicken 65 was a large mound of bright red chunks of fried chicken goodness. It smelled of peppers and the individual pieces are marinated in ginger, garlic and spices. They do provide a slow burn in terms of spice, but nothing crazy. These were crispy and ridiculously tender, and the flavor of these were spot on for me. I'd happily order these again! The Veggie samosas came in 3 big pieces, that were crispy and the filling of these were peas and potato. These also had a slow burn to them, but less so than the Chicken 65. The flavor of these were not bad, but here's the thing....they were pretty greasy. I had to wrap it in paper towels to remove some of the grease. Located just steps away from the popular Refuge Coffee, Biryani Point is sort of a hidden in plain site restaurant, especially if you're not looking for it. There's two entry points for this lot, and I didn't have any problems getting out of the lot onto Market.Biryani Point is a fantastic little indian/nepalese location that serves up solid, authentic flavors that I think you may like. Give them a shot, will ya?"
"I've been to Curry Up Now in Alpharetta, so decided to check out this Madison Yards location. There's free parking in the deck next door. It's fast casual, so we placed our orders at the counter before seating ourselves. The inside was very clean and had tons of space and seating. For 3 people, we went family-style and split the samosa chaat, 1 burnt chili garlic naan, pani puri, chicken 69, and vada pav. The food came out super fast which I appreciated! The samosa chaat was pretty flavorful, although I do prefer having the samosas already broken up and mixed. The naan was a little dry and not as fluffy as I would have liked. The pani puri was delicious and I loved the flavor of the vada pav and the buttery pav! The highlight of the meal though was the chicken 69. Hands down some of the best chicken 65 takes I've had. It was flavorful and had a great crunch on the breading. Overall, love both locations I've been to and can't wait to try more off the menu!"
"Friendly service and a great fast-casual restaurant with good prices. Have been here a couple of times and the food has been good every time. I enjoy the masala bowl, the portion is great and it's tasty. The samosas are delicious too. Great location too in Atlantic Station."
"Pros: * ample parking* awesome decor, love it. * attentive staff, water was refilled on a timely fashion. * the menu was awesome, loved all the different kinds of fusion dishes. * Thali was the the best for your buck. $15 for rice, naan, 2 entrees (changes daily), daal, raita, pappad, pickle & dessert. Cons: * none. Def coming back to try more."
"This place is a real bargain if you go for the lunch buffet. Only $14.98 AFTER tax! The service was good and there was plenty of food to choose from. They even bring a basket of naan to you at your table which was a nice bonus. They could easily get five stars out of me but as I'm often seeing these days, the food seems to be a bit toned down to please the general public. I know this is probably something that restaurateurs are having to do with their buffets these days to please the maximum amount of people. So yeah, I'm sure I'll go again and again as I love to am see these Indian lunch buffets coming back to life! Please support this lunch buffet."
"Ordered take out via food delivery app. Order was prepared and dispatched really quickly. Whole order was packed nicely in one single bag, including two lassis. I liked a lot the samosas and chicken wings. Chicken pakora was decent. The chicken tikka masala was cooked little differently than what I know. Still the sauce was really good, even two days later I had the flavor in it. Loved the lassi, came in a huge cup, sweet and thick, like it should be."
