There was an attached bar with music playing. The bar area appears to be the focal point of establishment. Staff seemed to congregate there. There is outside dining, but the AC is on inside.Service/ Front of the House: we were greeted and seated promptlyService/Serving Staff: Dashawn was friendly and helpful, but after dropping off the food he did not come back to check on us or to ask if we would like refills of the bottomless drinksFood:Starters -LOADED FRIES(Bacon, green onions, cheese sauce, crispy fries, BBQ sauce + Ranch dressing on side) - $12.00 There was no ranch dressing on the side. The waffle fries came out lukewarm. It was served in a room temperature skillet. Could have used a few minutes under the salamander. The fries were flavorful with sweet BBQ Sauce and crunchy bacon. Since the dish was not really hot, the cheese sauce was very lumpy and thick on top of the fries, but the bottom fries were sitting in a cheese liquid.FAMOUS CHICKEN & WAFFLES2 piece dark with buttermilk waffles and lemon pepper sauce $17.00. The waffles were pretty good, a little bit on the thin but crispy side. There was a hint of vanilla which made it interesting. It was served with 2 containers of maple syrup and 1 of drawn butter. I did not get any lemon pepper sauce. The chicken was awesome... nice thin seasoned batter. Crispy, juicy and fresh hot from the fryer. Definitely a winner.Bottomless soda, ice tea, lemonade, Arnold Palmer $4.00... but did not check back to see if I wanted a refill.Value: A little expense for 2 pieces of good chicken.Restroom: 2 unisex restrooms. "YOU ARE IM-PECKABLE! Ordered from Ponko Chicken on DoorDash tonight! Was pleasantly surprised by how awesome this spot was. We ordered a bunch of things to try. The hot dog, chicken plate, green beans and the cup cakes. All delicious! I was way too hungry so no pictures sorry. But trust me it was all very good and flavorful!"
"What a great little hidden gem! It's a very small restaurant kinda located behind a building. They do have outside seating. The woman at the register (so sorry I didn't get a name) she had a great energy. She was singing and dancing. I ordered the pimento grilled cheese and oh my god! It was so good! The tomatoes with the pimento cheese is so darn good. Order it! Plus it doesn't take too long for them to make so that was a plus!"
"Food was good but also on the pricey side. This is a venue in the food court portion of a mall. I hate the fact that the shared restrooms were extremely dirty and single stall. I ordered the deluxe fried chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon. I also ordered a side of fries and got a chocolate milkshake with strawberry syrup. The chicken sandwich tasted great, the fries were forgettable, and the milkshake could have been better."
"Would easily give five stars for the kimbap alone! I love the spam and shrimp tempura version. it's absolutely delicious. Super fresh. Great crunch and flavors. Could easily eat three of these on my own.My other favorite thing here is the bulgogi topokki which is rice cakes mixed with Bulgogi. A bit on the sweeter side, but super addictive and delicious. The tonkatsu is also really good. Super crispy and the sauce that it comes in is addictive.Wings here were good, but surprisingly not the star of the show.My least favorite thing here was the curry noodles. Seem like it was lacking in flavor. Gyoza was pretty standard.Service was friendly. Ambience is very casual. Definitely a great lunch spot. Will definitely be back!"
"The rosé ddeok-bokki is a must try! The sauce is like crack to my friend, and of course he introduced it to us... It's super creamy and flavorful. It's also great as a dipping sauce for the chicken. Don't waste good food! The Korean fried chicken here has a variety of flavors. Our favorite is the cheese one (cheeseling). Though it's super flavorful in taste, it's sooo good! The cheese powder is also very addictive...The golden original chicken is also very tasty and crunchy if you're going for simplicity. The sweet potato fries, coleslaw, and corn salad are also good side choices on the healthier end.I've eaten bb.q Chicken many times through friends ordering to-go, but this is the first time dining in. And having it fresh is sooo much better."
"Ordered here in a whim. And it was actually pretty decent! The Grubhub driver was a mess and kept forgetting to give me my stuff but I know that's out of your control. Needless to say the wings were tasty. The fries were good."
"The honey boi sandwich was superb. I liked how they asked if we wanted white or dark meat. Not a lot of chicken sandwich places have this option. The chicken (dark meat is the way to go) was oh so juicy and tender. Each bite was messy with the garlic honey butter sauce. The smokey lime mayo also didn't help. Just have some napkins handy. And with each hearty chicken bite, the sesame slaw and sweet pickles provided nice flavor and texture contrasts. They make this sucker when you order so it won't be an immediate turnaround. But when you do get it, it will be pipping hot.The interior had some seats, but there were also outdoor seats with a good amount under the covered patio."

This place is really nice. Great service. Makes sense, as it's the flagship location and corporate office in one place. The service is great, but I have been here twice now and I like the taste of the food it's different, but the food needs to be hot. The first time I went, I had to send the food back because the food was cold. 2nd time, same thing. I just ate it, couldn't be bothered. They tried to tell me the SAUCE made it cold. Really? The sauce that was put on 30secs ago then directly handed to me made hot chicken cold? No. I think they have the chicken sitting there, which the guy all but confirmed saying they have a policy on food coming out fast. Listen, I will wait for hot food. I hate cold food that is meant to be hot. This place is a prime example of that. It would taste way better. When I did have my food remade the first visit, fries and chicken tacos, you could taste the difference of a freshly fried tender to the initial tacos they gave that were cold with cold fries. Patrons are really in there eating cool food. They dress it up really nice and the flavor is different but they are serving cold food. I don't like that, and this place is not cheap. I averaged $25-$27 both visits for a meal, and drink. Nuts!

This was our first time in Atlanta and it was my turn to pick the place to eat for all of us that was new! I took this challenge in stride and looked for the best place near us as we were in town for family business. This place did not disappoint! From the food to the service and atmosphere, everything was on point. Once we entered we were greeted and promptly seated. The gentleman took our drink orders first. I got an alcoholic beverage and it was very good. It had a good flavor to alcohol ratio and you can actually feel that there was liquor in the drinks. Each of the family got different things. I got the Royal Treatment mac and cheese which was bomb! I also got a strawberry shortcake waffle which was also delicious. You can really taste the quality ingredients they use from the vanilla and the waffles were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Mine also included all of the bells and whistles such as ice cream and toppings. My niece and nephews shared chicken tenders. We also got an order of wings. There was one thing that the server put in for us but the kitchen forgot about and unfortunately my sister did not notice in time and by the time we realized the kitchen was closed as we came during the night time. Outside of that though, everyone enjoyed their time here and the decor and bar section was really cool looking. They have records lining the walls of famous bands from Atlanta such as Outkast and cool theming throughout. Which includes a really cool logo that they have on the wall. 5/5 SupaFlyITGuy approved!

First time ever eating at a Ponko Chicken and I liked it. This was the last stop on our bar crawl. There were two bartenders. One bartender kept forgetting people's order and so felt badly for him. The other bartender was picking and choosing who to make drinks form. There was no order whatsoever. The food tasted amazing. I had chicken and a waffle and I loved it. The drinks weren't bad either. They had run out of a lot of things, but I was okay with what I got. I had a pineapple mimosa. Mostly champagne, no juice at all, but it was good. They have an outdoor seating area that was nice. There was food and plates on several tables, but employees tried to keep the areas clean as best they could. The restaurant was packed. I tried the fried pickles too and they were just okay. They were cut in spears and didn't have a lot of breading on them, so it was like eating a hot pickle. I liked the layout of the restaurant. It wasn't big at all, but the counter to place orders being at the back helped with traffic flow. I'd come here again to try something else.

So my first trip here I ended up getting a parking ticket that's par for the trip here. I stopped here because I wanted to get the Chicken & Hoecakes, it was close to breakfast so why not? The lady behind the counter tells me they never have breakfast, not that they are all out or I'm past breakfast serving time "They never have breakfast". Really? but it's on your website = http://sidechickdecatur.com/I figured i'd do the chicken strips and fries then, what I got was overcooked strips and too salty fries. Not a good "welcome to the neighborhood"

My husband and I stopped by for a quick bite of Korean fried chicken. The ambience is very modern with 1-2 TVs in the main dining room. One of them was showing mukbang content, which I personally don't enjoy and find unappetizing, but one could always face away from the TV and be fine.Diners order at the counter and then can sit and eat. It's a very casual experience. We got just one flavor - a spicy one - that hit all the marks! Texture and flavor were excellent aaaaand they were too spicy for me to handle, haha. My husband got most of this chicken (which honestly was the plan), and we both left with the impression that we would happily go again.

Bb.q Chicken always serves up a great meal, whether it be from this location or the Duluth one. My hubby and I recently ordered Uber Eats delivery with a discount I had. The food arrived fresh, hot, and on time as always from this location. We have picked up in person on numerous occasions from here also without issues. The staff are all nice, and the food is always ready when it's expected to be. We got the soy garlic boneless again in our most recent order which is always a great choice - nice and crispy, yet juicy, with mild flavor. I also decided to try the Galbi wings this time (bone-in), and they were amazing! I highly recommend both flavors. If you like Galbi (Kalbi) beef, then you'll like these wings - same great sauce. My hubby also likes the golden chicken, although he didn't get it this time. Never had a bad experience from here or the Duluth location yet. I highly recommend either one for a great takeout or delivery experience.

Honestly, delicious rotisserie Chicken. Spacious seating. Very friendly staff. Several types of chicken offered. Salad was excellent. Tender and tasty chicken to dip into sweet bbq sauce. Fries were good. It all comes down to superior chicken. And southern sweet tea that was clear and refreshing. Not a lot of parking. Located near several other restaurants. Not fancy. Fast casual. Hope this restaurant continues to grow because it has great food for a fair price. Glad we came here.

"This spot is for all my GROWN FOLKS and trusttt it's always packed in here on the weekends. If you enjoy good music, good hookah, and good people this is the spot to be. Old national is about the only place to find fun on the southside. You'd be a fool not come to a spot where they serve the best chicken, literally in a bar!!"
"We came here on a whim and glad we did! The chicken was delicious. So many flavors to pick from. You can go sweet, spicy, garlic, etc. All flavors come in wings, boneless or fried chicken."
"HAPPY HOUR IS FRIDAY NIGHTS ONLY!!Location/Exterior: Hapeville area, small building and even smaller parking lot. I was scared to park anywhere else before my truck gets towed or booted possibly. Cute sign!!Ambiance: classy, yet urban. So you can dress up or come casual. But whatever you do, don't come half stepping or risk being whispered about (lol) the hostess welcomed me with a warm smile and was able to answer my question about if I can smoke a hookah at the bar before I could ask lolService: the lady who made my hookah was the bomb!!! I asked if I could use my own shisha since it's nicotine free and she did it with no problem! The hookah was smoking sooooo good omg ! she charges $45 for hookah. The bartender, Rose was so pleasant and had good convo for ya! She made me feel welcomed. Her mixology skills were superb to me! She put my order in and I was able to substitute the mashed potatoes for the Mac n cheese. I seen a previous review saying they couldn't substitute sides, well I'm here to tell u that's not true!Food: DELICIOUS!!!!! Everything about the stuffed salmon plate was good. Nothing was lacking. And I went on a Tuesday evening. So I'm sure it's still great on a busy night. The Mac n cheese was cheesy and good, the salmon was cooked but not overcooked, the two shrimp on top was juicy and flavorful. I think it was stuffed with some kind of cheese filling. The asparagus was good too. The customer next to me at the bar said his burger and fries were very good. I'll try that on a quick night lolOnly thing I'll like to see is that they have happy hour every week night and offer nicotine free shisha for the hookah. Convo surely will keep you talking!"
"Pause....Stop everything you are doing!!!Now!My brother told me about this place...It may not be fancy from the insideWith decor detailsOr outside...But one thing is for certain...You are going to get authentic Jamaican flavor!!!This review I'm putting out is about the rice and peasAnd jerk chicken I've had jerk chicken in BROOKLYN NY ( hometown )Jerk in Jamaica from different parts of the islandJerk chicken in Nebraska Jersey Washington DCBut this isn't about the many places my tongue has beenNo, this is about a restaurant in atlanta One that has become a familiar takeout spot for entertainers... (If you know who you know who)So in this place you will find a feisty, but cool lady at the front...She is good peoples...And her customer service is straight up..No cutting corners...I got jerk chicken with rice and peas on the side..The rice and peas had oxtail gravyThe rice was different....I mean, it was adventurous....Not a single grain undercooked or overcooked Perfect texture The oxtail gravy added a somewhat savory, buttery flavor over rice that was jazzed up with flavor..This wasn't your regular rice and peas that would have Someone reaching for salt and condiments Everything was already there.I found myself eating it with a spoonAnd didn't even notice when I hit the bottom of the Container being empty"Mama said there would be days like this"The jerk chicken....Wow!!!!Probably some of the best jerk chicken I have had in my life!!!!This chicken was so flavorful You could eat the bones and taste smoky, fiery jerk vibes.even in chicken breast It's very hard for people to have jerk chicken taste colorful Where there is breast involved They have achieved it!!The chicken needs no gravy...No need for jerk sauceYou want to really sample "da ting"Eat it as it comes to youDon't be fooled by the color if you are new to jerk chickenThat's just the spices that color it It's totally legit...Jerk chicken can be... spicy, lip numbing, or just enjoyable I found this restaurant to be enjoyable with enough spice to get your nose running So the question remains Would I go back?I'm in California, and I would fly back for the jerk chickenMatter of fact.. when I book my flight.. I'm going to make sure I land during hours of this wonderful restaurant being open"
"First and foremost Kandice with a K you were an outstanding server the best service I received all weekend in Atlanta. Now on to the foodCame in on a Monday for the $15 crab legs. Came with two snow crab clusters they were seasoned very well and not over cooked. We love that! We also partaken in the happy hour. Got the Honey Hot wings that were good ($10 ) and the stand out was the spinach artichoke dip was fire and was a good portion for the price point ($10) all drinks were $7 I got two Hennessy side cars and my homegirl got two margaritas with Casamigos also $7. Food was good and hot when came out Price point was definitely worth the trip to college park we also got a hookah that was half off for happy hour ($25) Overall food was good and price point was well worth it 4 stars cause the hookah girl took 30 mins to change our coals."
"Wow is my first impression of the food. The price is pretty reasonable too. The downside is the lack of seating if you were to come here with a large ish group. But the food does come out quick. There's a 'couple set' deal that's decently priced. The hubs said that we should have gone with that deal for a couple more bucks then we would have gotten more food. Gosh. Such a guy comment. I just wanted a sandwich while he wanted a combo and much more. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was super delicious. The chicken had really juicy dark meat with a nice crispy skin. It was a pretty sizable patty too. The other ingredients were simple with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Even though I rarely get anything spicy, the spice level on this was pretty mild. The crispy cod fish sandwich was surprisingly tasty too. The fish's crust had a nice crunch that wasn't too battered or oily. There was also a good portion to the fried cod with accompanying lettuce, tomato, and mayo. The fries were pretty decent. I usually don't like thick fries because of the super potato-y taste, but these were golden and pretty crispy. The staff was super nice. Prices decent. Quick service. I do indeed would visit again and try their other menu items."
"It was my first time trying it and it was SOOOOO good! I had a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Potato. I was full and it was flavorful! It only needed salt and pepper. The wait wasnt long and they are masked and gloved throughout. I like that you can see them preparing and cooking your food. I didnt care for the aluminum foil "boat" they made to hold the potato as pieces of it break off into the potato. But honestly no complaints."
"I always meant to visit the Zesto in Little 5 but never did, so I decided to try the location a little but further south before it's sold and turned into condos that few people can afford. I ordered the Fat Boy burger without onions, regular fries and a Heath Bar Artichoke Blast. I went through the drive-thru with an expectation to wait, and the wait didn't feel terribly long. You'll need to be patient with ordering because the person taking my order was not in a hurry. This didn't bother me, but if you're in a hurry, the Burger King across the street might be a better bet. The food was ordinary fast food. The burger tasted old, neither the buns nor the meat patties had not been warmed and were definitely not fresh. The fries were very hot, but unseasoned and I'm guessing the reason I had to wait. The Artic Blast was ice cream deliciousness, and I would come back for this item only. Zesto knows ice cream, baby! I'm glad I finally gave Zesto a try. It's a piece of the Old Atlanta that I greatly miss."
"Best chicken tenders/sandwich I've had; hands down!! I'll start off by saying that I really struggled not giving this review all 5's. No doubt that they have some amazing food; however, I reserved a star because of the location/lack of parking. The location is near the Georgia Aquarium and next to the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Centennial Park. That being said, I really hope they get the foot traffic needed to keep the open and their business going strong because the food is truly amazing. Now to the food, after illegally parking, I went in and placed my order (sorry I didn't take pics). The inside of this establishment was well lit, clean, and service was pleasant and fast. This was great because of my parking situation. Got back to the office and was in awe at how huge the bacon cheddar chicken sandwich was. It came loaded with bacon+cheddar cheese+lettuce+tomato+buttermilk ranch, and I also got a side of the hand cut fries. Everything was truly amazing. Be sure to check out some of their homemade sauces as well. I was really surprised to see that they also keep bottles of Lawry's Seasoned Salt for inside use as well. Due to the parking, I may not be back to dine in, but luckily for me they are on DoorDash, so I'll be ordering soon. Don't walk, run!!"
"E X P E R I E N C E I placed the order online. it said it was ready in 18 mins. i got there within 10 mins and when i went in person to pick up, it was ready. this is great because they're quick but not , because now my food is sitting and cold F O O D sandwich, fries, medium spicy: when I had initially opened up the box, the sandwich look sad as hell. bread was deflated. looked oily. chicken looked thin and small. Cole slaw was minimal. there were like two pickles. but then two bites in, oooof. okay girl, I see you. wow, am I impressed. the portion size is small imo. for reference, I can eat an in n out double double and neopolitan shake, and im 70% full. I can eat mcdeezies 20 nug, oreo mcflurry and a med fries, and be 80% full8pc wings, Mac n cheese, hot spicy: ooooh she's spicy! the mayo based sauce reminded me of zaxbys sauce. its okay. the chicken is so good; theres no need for saude. Mac was cooked al dente. it looks nasty but it tastes amazing! cheesy and chewy. downside- super oily.that fried chicken is juicy. the skin tastes like lays! it's so crunchy and the numbing spice is perfection. the chicken is a contender to scovilles and hattie b's, not gonna lie. only thing is that it's really oily but still, dang I'm definitely coming backI N S I D Elots of seating available. 4 seater tables, mostly booths interior is renovated and looks decent. gives me Chipotle vibes L O C A T I O N in the trader Joe's shopping center so plenty of parkingP R I C E 22"
"I really do like this place, but my concerns seem to increase with every visit. I consider myself a regular customer so despite their error I still come back but lately and by lately I mean 3 days in a row my order has either been wrong, missing something or just plain nasty. I order one of the cinnamon rolls with icing and I requested a soft one because the day prior I could hardly cut into it. This morning they have me one with lots of cream and I was like OK -- but then when k get to work to actually sit down and eat the cinnamon roll was HARD and I could cut through it or all the cream. Again, every now again they are the best place ever and then they have their moments when I wonder why I even still come."
"This was my first time trying Alfah, an Indian and Chinese food fusion restaurant, and I thought my experience went pretty well. I was with my family and we were the only people dining it at the time for a late lunch. There were a few people that came in but I think they were just ordering take out. We ordered main dishes: chicken tikka masala, mutton biriyani, chicken 65, and palak dal. We also ordered beef, chicken, and veggie samosas and gulab jamun. Positives/favorite dishes: mutton biriyani, chicken 65, and palak dal, veggie samosa. Spice level was great, it really sneaks up on you! Portion sizes for each dish are large enough to feed a family of four! Least favorite: beef and chicken samosa- both samosas did not have much flavor and wasn't our favorite.Chicken tikka masala- we didn't like this dish as much as the others was because it wasn't creamy enough and it did not come with plain rice. I also did not like the fact that some dishes did not come with rice... we did order garlic naan and that was very good but I believe that all dishes (that aren't rice/noodle dishes) should come with plain rice. Overall, i had a great experience and i would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!"
"Oh my GAWD... I made sure to taste EVERYTHING I had before writing this review! I ordered lemon pepper wings, Mac & cheese and a veggie plate (cabbage, collards and dressing). Don't judge me...I was hungry! THE POINT...is the food was in flavor and readiness and culture preservation!"
"New addition on Jonesboro across the street from the new Publix they are building! Gotta admit I love JJ fish and was happy to see them get as popular in Ga as they were in Florida! From the breading to the fairy dust they sprinkle your food with it is delicious! Also they give you the whole wing! I don't see any lunch prices on this one which sucks but still worth coming for! Simp and clean with a few tables to eat at! Restrooms were very clean also! I appreciate the fact they have the machine in for the gnats and flies! They are so annoying when eating! I see 100% on the health score! Clap emoji!!"
