BEST SANDWICH I'VE HAD IN THE BAY AREA!!!What a hidden gem! I was greeted as soon as I came in by Rhonda and later Albert. Very sweet, welcoming and comforting. You can tell it's locally owned by the pictures and art on the wall.I went with the first recombination which was the Turkey bacon on a French roll. Toasted.I wasn't expecting anything crazy, since I've had this sandwich everywhere else I've been, but BOY WAS I WRONG! The bread is nicely toasted, the avocado and veggies were fresh, the turkey was plentiful and the bacon was crunchy! I was thinking to eat the full roll, but it barely made it half way through. It was so much food! This is my first visit here and it's already my favorite sandwhich spot! Can't wait to go back!

This is the best sandwich spot in San Jose, family owned and operated. The hot pastrami on Dutch crunch is amazing. We eat here at least once a week.

Came here today four lunch to bring back home. The was our first time here. This is located in a small strip mall across the street from McDonald's and Starbucks on Kooser.The staff were very warm and welcoming. We studied the menu before making a decision. The menu is huge and there are so many options.We decided on the large roast beef with jack cheese and the large Italian submarine. We both chose theFrench roll.They make the sandwich right there behind the counter while you're waiting. There are a few tables inside if you choose to eat your sandwiches there. Our sandwiches were done quickly. Once we arrived home we dove right into them. The large is very big. Each of us were only able to eat half. The sandwiches were stuffed with meats and veggies. They do not skimp here. The bread was very fresh. Overall I'd say they make an excellent sandwich. I will definitely be returning to try some of their hot sandwich offerings.

Came in on a whim after taking Gavin to the park so he can play basketball. I did not want to place an order against DoorDash, so I was going to place an order online, but I saw that their chicken salad is available to order on DoorDash but not from the website. I called and spoke to a gentleman and was happy to hear that the chicken salad is available. We decided to not place an order ahead. I don't think I've ever been to that part of San Jose. Parking was relatively easy but just know that if you go during peak hours then it might be a different story. Lines can be long so if you are in a rush, place your order ahead. I was luckily behind one guy. Ahead of him there were 3 others waiting for their order. I loved the service! This is a family owned and operated sandwich shop that carries a variety on their menu: cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, wraps, salads, plates (ravioli, spaghetti, enchiladas), and an array of baked goods. They have chips and refreshments readily available to go w/ your order.I've only tried their egg salad and chicken salad yesterday. Both were delicious and creamy. I felt that I was able to eat and enjoy my meal w/o feeling like I'm on a diet. I ordered Gavin a pastrami sandwich (you can opt for your bread of choice to be toasted or not). Reasonable prices. Great and friendly family. I'll be back soon!

Shockingly good!While in the area for work I was lookig fr a change from a week of fast food and found Sandwich Mill Deli on a quick Google search, didnt think much of it when I parked in front but the moment I walked in I knew it would be the best choice f my week for sure! The couple behind the old schol counted were so incrdibly nice and made my #13 Italian sub fresh as I was standing there, the bread soft and smelled so good! I could barely make it to a chair before my diving in and each bite packed with flavor! Their cold cut are fantastic! I wish I knew for sure when I will be back n the area so I could guarantee myself a return visit! Dont be swayed by the looks, the food is amazing and the staff wonderful! Five Stars!!

You know I love small, family run businesses and this is definitely one to love and support. If you're in a hurry order ahead but if you are like us on a lazy Sunday, we were perfectly happy to wait in line for our perfectly delicious sandwiches to be made with love. Lots of vegetarian options. We had the All Cheese and the Avo/Cheese. Both were exactly what we were looking for. Definitely coming back to try their spaghetti and cheese ravioli and also the eggplant Milanese sandwich. A few very clean tables to eat at indoors or the sandwiches are also wrapped very nicely for you to bring them home. Thanks for a great lunch!

Great family run deli, with great sandwiches and varied choices for bread and condiments.

Don't be deceived by their plain furniture when you first step in. They have the best sandwiches with the mostly friendliest staff around.I always come here for my liverwurst on a roll with everything on it, so yummy! The large is enough for two meals! The staff is always so friendly and makes everyone feel like they're part of the family. Prices are so affordable compared to other sandwich places.

Everyone at the sandwich meal is always great and very accommodating and their sandwiches are the bomb, especially the fresh roasted turkey and the BLT
