Luckily I wasn't in the mood to eat something that would be kinda messy while waiting for my flight at SJC. I was planning to order the chicken tenders when the cashier said they only had chicken tenders and fries. No more burgers since they were close to closing. Cashier was great, food came out piping out (which I loved) and quick, but the chicken itself was bit on the salty side. But for 5 tenders for under $12 (before tax) it was a deal. And the pieces were big. I still have 2 left and content with the 3 that I ate. 4 stars only because how does a burger joint run out of burgers?"

I don't know if it was because I went towards their last hour of closing or what, but I got the shrimp and chive dumpling and the minute I bit into it, it was just soggy. The flavor was not bad, but also not great, I just wish that with it being pan fried it would have had a crispy exterior. The eggs rolls on the other hand had a pretty good flavor and were actually crispy. I have mixed feelings with this place, I may have to go back maybe during peak hours and give it another shot."

Turo serves the same dishes that I grew up with at home.In the past, I've ordered popular dishes, including: pancit (noodles), silog (breakfast combos w/egg), pork sinigang (tamarind soup), BBQ skewers, and of course, LUMPIA. It's rare to order lumpia shanghai (finger food pork egg rolls) at such a girthy size. And there's is kinda girthy for a shanghai. Believe me, I've had shanghai in other places which were either "too skinny" and/or "too short". There's one place I know of that tends to roll their shanghai in extra wrappers to almost deceive customers that it's actually filled with enough meat! LOL. In any case, Turo's Shanghai is "fat, tasteful and meaty" for the discerning lumpia lover in you!Turo Cafe deserves 4.5 stars!!! @feastyle approved! The Turo Cafe storefront makes the store look as if it's heavily busy because of outside traffic, but I've developed a "system" on how to work with here. LOL Otherwise, everything has been great since the food is so tasteful they bring back memories of the quality Pinoy dishes I know and love."

"We recently had Delhicacies prepare and deliver food for a small gathering at our place, and they exceeded our expectations in every way possible. First off, the delivery was a smooth process, dot on time and packaged with such precision. Ankush, who runs the show at Delhicacies came to do the honors and as well left detailed instruction on how to go about preparing one of the starter dishes that we had ordered (Bhalle Papdi chaat that is). The menu we chose included Bhalle Paapdi Chaat, Cocktail Samosas, Paneer Tikka Masala, Chana Masala, Baingan Bharta, accompanied by Roomali Roti and Lacchay Pyaaz as a side salad.The Bhalle Paapdi Chaat was an instant crowd-pleaser, with the perfect balance of crispy papdi, fresh bhalle, cool sweet yogurt, tangy tamarind along with green sauces, a secret masala powder and a garnish of beetroot , pomegranate and cilantro. All of these were packed separately and instructions were provided (step by step) to prepare the end result which tasted out of the world good. It was refreshing yet packed with flavors that kept everyone asking for seconds. The Cocktail Samosas were golden, crisp, and filled with a spiced potato mixture that made them an ideal finger food--perfectly bite-sized and not greasy at all.For the main course, the Paneer Tikka Masala (PTM) stole the show with its rich, velvety sauce that coated the tender paneer in just the right amount of spice. The flavors were balanced yet bold, making it a standout dish. The earthy flavor in the paneer made it finger licking good and definitely was the biggest hit of the evening.The Chana Masala had the perfect texture--soft chickpeas simmered in a well-spiced gravy that had just the right amount of heat and tang. Cubes of paneer in there definitely made it a good overall combination and complemented with the PTM.The smoky and flavorful Baingan Bharta added an earthy depth to the meal as well. The eggplant was roasted beautifully, bringing out its natural flavors, which paired wonderfully with the Romali Roti. The roti was soft, thin, and warm, making it the ideal vehicle to soak up the gravies. We did end up heating the rotis in our microwave oven for about 10-15 seconds in batches and they remained perfect in their texture and taste. The Lacchay Pyaaz--freshly sliced onions with a sprinkle of masala--added a crunchy, refreshing bite to balance the richness of the other dishes.Overall, Delhicacies delivered an out of the world authentic North Indian culinary experience with each dish tasting as though it was prepared with care and precision. The food was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and served fresh. Our guests were impressed, and we couldn't have been happier with the quality of food and service of delivery. If you're looking for reliable and delicious Indian catering, Delhicacies should be at the top of your list! Give them a chance and thank me later. You are welcome!!!"

Sandwiches were about double the regular price, so my husband passed on the foot long (close to $13), but my salad was under $10 (about $7) and it was wonderful. I ordered the veggie delight and asked for all of the veggies. I even received extra black olives upon request. Light dressing was added and I was set with a healthy, affordable lunch! I did drool a little as I watched husband eat fried chicken and hot gravy from a nearby restaurant, but I was completely satisfied with my vegetable medley!"

The freshness of the salmon is good compared to other local sushi spots nearby. The coleslaw was okay, it tasted like regular coleslaw with no special flavors or ingredients. The french fries had good flavor but it also was not crispy and soggy. The plantains were decent, but it was not fried and a little greasy. Overall, the food was decent and I would give it another try since I've heard good reviews."

The thing that I always look forward to the most though are the fries, they are the crispiest and freshest fries I've ever had. This trip I got onion rings as well and they were decently crispy but the inside with the onion got a little mushy which I personally don't care for though they were still good. I don't think I'd order onion rings again just because I can't justify the price with the taste but the burger and fries are 100% worth it every single time."
