I could eat it daily. The place is small but clean and the waitress was friendly and helpful. The cook even came out to say hi when I told the waitress I liked the food. I gave both a monetary tip on top of my purchase price because they're in a tough location but providing great food in a friendly but professional manner. I'd Definitely go back! We chose to pick up our order and ate elsewhere not because of Habibis but due to the outside street vibe. Five stars for food and service. I'd remove one star for street ambiance but Habibis can't control that so I left it at 5!"

Ron O. "A really good, affordable, quick meal near the Chase Center in San Francisco. Order at the counter or on an order kiosk. We ordered...* 6 Piece Falafel -- Nice, Hot & fresh. Not too dry, and good flavor. Served with Tahini dipping sauce.* 1/2 pint Hummus with Warm Pita -- It was good, but it turns out we didn't need it as there wasa side of hummus and pita with the entree.* Combination Kabob Plate - Generous serving of chicken kabob, lamb kabob and kefta (ground beef & lamb) kabob. Chicken was flavorful & juicy. Kefta was also very tasty. Lamb was good and cooked perfectly medium well, but quite heavy on the cardamom spice. Sides of saffron rice, tabouli, Jerusalem salad, hummus and pita. Shared between 2 people.Nothing fancy, but food is good and affordable. Some interior seating, but they had to set up space heaters as the dining area does not have central heating or air conditioning."

Cherylynn N. "3.5 STARSI need to start pulling a Queen Beast and packing hot sauce and condiments in my purse because our food at Mama's Luncheonette was crying out for flavor! Everyone has different palates but I'm legit confused over the hype. All three wraps/burritos we tried were bland. And, this is coming from someone that doesn't like salty foods. Opening in January 2024, Mama's Luncheonette has been on my list to try (before they went viral) and I finally had a chance to visit last week when I had the afternoon off. They took over the long-time La Canasta (Mexican). It's a closet-sized space so takeout only with some outdoor seating. No delivery. They opened a second location in Mill Valley (November 2024). Arrived on a weekday around 11:25 am with one person ahead of us in line. M E N UShort menu of breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwich, and lunch wraps. 100% halal. - Breakfast served until noon BUT per staff, brisket runs out by 11 am (even on a weekday).- The Chicken Tikka Masala and Mushroom Wraps are served after 11:30 am, the Lamb Wrap after 12 pm.F O O D* Chopped Caesar Salad Wrap w/ lemon pepper crusted chicken, lettuce, parm, della fattoria croutons ($18) // 3 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/ykz45tyh- Sub chips for fries (comped upcharge for the wait)The viral wrap was just aight. To me, the best part was the deliciously crunchy and buttery croutons. While the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the lemon pepper chicken (breast) was dry and the dressing lacked a garlicky-anchovy punch. Toasting/grilling the tortilla probably would have enhanced it. It's wild how basic things like this go viral. Subbing the chips for the za'atar fries was the right move. The standard cut fries were hot and crunchy with fluffy soft interior and earthy tang from the za'atar seasoning. Served with a creamy yogurt sauce for dipping. * Mama's Breakfast Burrito w/ tater tots, scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar, avocado, salsa ($13) // 3 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/yyup5f42- Sold out of brisket so added beef bacon (+$3) Considering their Breakfast Burrito has landed on "Best of..." Lists in the city, I had high hopes but it was disappointing. This baby desperately needed the La Vic's orange sauce treatment - it was bland. Generous amount of eggs but I prefer soft, looser curds instead of a big clump. The beef bacon was overly chewy and the tots were soggy so there was no texture contrast. All wrapped in an untoasted tortilla and served with a side of sour cream and mild salsa roja. * 12 HR Braised Lamb Pressed Flatbread w/ muhammara, sumac onions, oaxaca cheese, barberries, arugula, herbed tahina ($18) // 3.75 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/2hzfx557Best of three, the meltingly soft sous-vide lamb with melty oaxaca cheese was a great contrast against the crispy golden brown lavash. Sadly, like the other two items, it was bland - more spices please! It's served with a side of yogurt sauce. IMO, pickled onions and a garlicky toum would have elevated this Middle Eastern style wrap. If they had an option to top their fries with braised lamb, feta, and yogurt sauce...it would be BOMB! S E R V I C EBlake is the MVP! This guy makes Mama's Luncheonette with his top-tier customer service. It was about 15 minute wait for our first two items, and another 20 minutes for the last one (was given a heads up when ordering). A M B I A N C ETakeout only with five tables outside. P A R K I N GParking is rough so recommend parking at Union Street Garage a block away ($3 every 30 mins). Overall, loved the customer service and positive vibes but wasn't impressed with the food. Perhaps the hype/ratings are inflated because The Marina/Cow Hollow doesn't have many options for breakfast burritos and ethnic food like the Chicken Tikka Masala + Middle Eastern Lamb Wrap? Great that a small business IS getting so much business off a viral TikTok tho!"

But it was actually nice on the inside and the server was super friendly and welcoming. The food was really good, so it's unfortunate that the outside looks wild. Jenny F. "I've had this spot bookmarked in my "Places to Try" collection for a while, and I'm glad my friend recommended it so that I can at long last cross it off my Yelp bucket list.We went in on Friday at 12:30pm, and was seated immediately. The place was fairly empty, there was two separate groups of 2, and then 2 sets of individual diners. Given the rave reviews, we were surprised by the relative emptiness. The place is uniquely decorated and interesting to look at. The lighting is a little dim, but not so much that you cannot see your food or your fellow diners. There is one spotlight above each booth though, so if you had a slightly larger party in your booth, you will have less light on the sides. The place is quite quiet though, the music was possibly on low (actually I can't even remember if there was any come to think of it), and everyone was respectfully quiet. My girlfriend and I probably were accidentally too loud for the space one in a while, and our voices would reverberate in the large but relatively empty place. In hindsight, it probably made sense there were a few folks dining on their own, probably trying to look for a quiet lunch to themselves (oops, sorry!).Service was decent. The staff member who attended to us was extremely friendly and was helpful when we tried to order the milk tea and informed us that it was salty (we decided against it, also because it was whole milk and we forgot our Lactaids). The food came out pretty quickly, some within minutes. Now you might notice that the other Yelp reviews rave about the chili oil, and agree it's pretty legit. However the one at my table was almost completely empty (a clear indicator that it's awesome), so I requested a fuller one and handed the empty jar to our attendant. This was unfortunately forgotten, and I joke that I ended up with even less chili oil than I started with. We were halfway between our meal before we decided to flag someone down to help bring us some, which came quickly afterwards. Now the food is great. What I didn't expect was that it definitely hit the nostalgia factor from my childhood when we lived in Beijing. It reminded me of the days when we chowed down on the mouth-watering cumin and fennel covered lamb skewers from a most definitely unlicensed and possibly sketchy vendor camped on the sidewalk. We ordered 4 items: 1) pumpkin manta, 2) hand-pulled laghman, 3) kewap cold noodles, and 4) honey jasmine tea drink.Everything was pretty great. I highly recommend the hand-pulled laghman - the noodles were perfectly cooked and chewy! The kewap cold noodles were okay - the lamb on top are fantastic (!!!!) but the noodles were lukewarm, not sure if they got heated up from the lamb on top, or not cooled down long enough, but given the middling temp it was a little less appetizing. The one strange thing was that the honey jasmine tea drink comes in a bottle and we were expecting a freshly brewed pot or mug of tea instead. It would be super helpful and appreciated if this was mentioned when we ordered it because it would have changed our mind. Note that it's 150 kcals and super sweet. We had to split it half-half with water to tone it down (I *think* the waiter mentioned it was sweet though, we just didn't expect this much).Overall, I enjoyed this place. The food is great, the service is pretty great too. The ambiance made us feel a little awkward, but most likely it's not them but rather us - it just wasn't the right environment at the time for two giggly women trying to catch up. I'll for sure be back, but maybe when I'm looking for a little quieter and more zen dining experience."

Typically, you'd stand in line to order at the cashier's, and then you get a number and you go find your own table. They'll bring you the food at your table once its ready and take the number away. I always get the chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, and butter naan. Sometimes I feel extra and also order the mango lassi. The chicken tikka masala main dish size is easily enough for two meals - sometimes a third! It's super creamy and flavorfull with a hint of spice, and the naan is buttery and fluffy. The mango lassi reminds me of somewhere between a smoothie and a milkshake. I highly recommend Zareen if you're looking for some bomb Indian food, especially on a cold, rainy day, it's the perfect comfort food!"

If you're not a big eater I think you could actually share a wrap with a side between two people.Food came out promptly and ingredients tasted like they were high quality. Each wrap came with a side of toom and hot sauce. My chicken shawarma wrap was different than I was expecting in that the chicken was covered in sauce.
