"Don't write this off as another taqueria. This is a new casual El Salvadorian and Mexican restaurant just off of 24th Street Bart, which is exactly how my hungry self accidentally found this place. This is new as in 'three months old' and likely a place I will visit again. Tacos and burritos, yes. But, if you come here, you are missing out if you don't try the El Salvadorian or Oaxacan tamales. Oh. My. God. Their pupusas are also stars, here, as is ... hold for it, their *housemade mole*! You read that correctly. If you've ever made mole from scratch, you know the work and ingredient list this entails. Even the tomatillo and chipotle sauces are housemade. Oh, I was happy and full when I left this place. I wish I had taken more photos before I devoured my El Salvadorian tamale. Chicken, potatoes, masa in a banana leaf... oh this is my love language."

"I liked Cafe Rito at Westin St. Francis Powell Union Square. It's a nice place to sit and have some snacks or drinks..as well as a meal like pasta. It's open 630 to 10pm. Cafe Rito is open and nice to hang out and spend time. It's at Union Square like shopping businesses. I haven't stayed at Westin St. Francis but you know me and I have stayed at hotels in San Francisco during my life. The security guard was not clear on my activities at this hotel."

I recently ordered a turkey club while at work and it was just okay. Probably won't be back at this location."

The pickle are little different and have sour taste but a good sour taste. I ordered the Nico which is pastrami sand which with thousand island sauce and it was bomb. I looked over their menu and ordered some oysters along with one of the local craft beers. Really enjoyed my limited time here.I even found out that they were really known for their brunch here on the weekends. I would totally love to come back and experience that. "Original Joe's never lets me down. I absolutely adore this place. Is the wait long? Yes. Are there tourists swarming? Yes. But, both those mentions no longer bother me now that I've found the perfect watering hole across the street to have a few while waiting, Tony Nik's. North Beach is alive and it's exciting to see people out and about again. Original Joe's seems to always be a solid meeting hub and spot to dine with groups or gals. Original Joe's has also shared memories of wedding rehearsals, work dinners, and countless post-Giant game moments. Love the old school Italian vibes here, photos that adorn the walls, and dim lighting. Menu-wise ~ the warm sourdough bread and Original Joe's branded butter, house red wine, the chicken parm with side of pasta/signature marinara, cacio e pepe, and butter cake to finish it all off...perfection! The spaghetti and meatballs and Caesar are also solid. These dishes are not for those ready for a bikini shoot next day, rather shareable/family style. Although not going to lie, while pregnant, the chicken parm was not shared :)The tastes, textures, flavors, menu is so comforting and familiar. Not a spot easy on the wallet, but definitely one for the books. Staff just like famiglia."

"I am salivating right now as I am writing this review. Early to rise is one of the best brunch spots in the city right now and it is worth all the hype. I have ordered almost every single thing on the menu and have not had a bad dish whatsoever. I would highly suggest the shrimp and grits, their doughnut of the day, or the French toast or ricotta pancakes (depending on the flavor). They also have great cocktails and the bottle of champagne is also affordable. Early to rise has that comfort food flare with a touch of fanciness. I would highly suggest making a reservation or coming here on a weekday!"

The red cabbage was almost creamy) and the fish and chips were a bit more decadent but with a hell of a lot of fish. We also split a grilled cheese which was surprisingly delicious and came with a side of fries. We chose to get the vegetable of the day which was as Brussels sprouts. They were topped with Parmesan and were a good attempt although a little greasy for my liking.The woman at the counter was super nice and answered all my questions about the different fish options. You can even order a side of cod on a salad if you want something super healthy. I thought the backyard was nice and there was a fire pit. There was some seating with an overhang which is good for rain. You pick up the food yourself and get your own silverware. Overall, would come back."

"The Boys Deli, is a solid deli with some real deal sandwiches that are not only filling but delicious at the same time. The most recent experience we went the Recession sandwich which comes with turkey, prosciutto, and mozzarella plus all the fixings. The sandwich itself was big and honestly the gf and I split one and we were filled up. The dutch crunch was fresh and soft, and the sandwiches are toasted which is always a plus. For $15 it's worth it for the size and amount of meat you get. My pro tips would be to call ahead and order. We were quoted 20-25 minutes, so definitely save time and call ahead. The deli is located in a liquor/grocery store, and they had some nice adult beverage selections to complete our park day. Good news, is that they are opening a new location in San Bruno soon, right next to CutRight Barbershop, which means I won't be having to drive into the city to get my boy deli sandwich fix."

Zoey, her husband Christian & Mary Carr created this cafe & their original Noe Valley location on the site of a former laundromat.Back to this Dogpatch location. Inside opera & soft rock to keep the energy up. They definitely need to get the word out to the nearby medical megapolis around the corner on 3rd. On my visit I saw a steady stream of the in-the-know sporting name tags saying doctor. Despite the abundant seating, given the time of day, all customers were grab-n-go. Everything is packaged to go, help yourself to napkins, etc. While the plastic tableware usually annoys the heck out of me, the fork & knife, produced with plant starch, were sturdy enough to do the job. I appreciates the serrated edge, better than most metal versions. Ok, enough, let's get to my breakfast. Avocado Toast. Thick slice of yummy artisanal seeded bread. So thick it wasn't really toasted, along with the generous amount of avocado, topped with fried egg & everything seasoning making it pretty difficult to eat with your hands. 1st world problem. The side of bacon was both crispy & chewy perfection. Five star meal. Based on this experience my next stop will be their Noe Valley location. Support Local!"

Each piece of the monkey bread breaks off into little small bite sized nuggets covered in the perfect mix of caramelized butter and sugar. Pop one in your mouth and be ready to be in pastry heaven. "Just picked up breakfast from here about an hour ago and it was so good I had to write a review right away! I got a breakfast crunch wrap with meat and avocado and it was hefty, filling, and so good. My crunch wrap had chicken, sausage, avocado, cheese, potato, sour cream, and salsa. It was a great amount of food and well flavored, perfect kick for a Southwest flavor to it. It even stayed crispy through my 10 minute walk home. The owner and staff were also super nice. I wasn't a huge fan of their avocado toast previously, but now that I know about this breakfast crunch wrap, I'm gonna need to come back for it. It would make the perfect pre-hike breakfast!"
