The food was a bit pricey but delicious:- Bal & Kaymak (honey, clotted cream, and pita, $8)- Turlu & Cous Cous (Turkish ratatouille, pearl couscous, $23)- Karniyarik (eggplant and saffron rice, $25)- Branzino (fish, $35)The ones I enjoyed the most were the branzino and pita bread. The branzino was cooked really well, soft and flaky. The pita paired well with the clotted cream and honey, creamy and sweet."

Mike C. "It's probably been over 30 years since I've set foot in here. It was my 1st time dining here.My office used to be about five blocks away and I remember picking up food with my coworker to bring back. My uncle who works in the neighborhood mentioned that this was a regular lunch spot for him pre-2020.I came here for lunch on a Wednesday in April a little before noon. Dining alone, I chose a counter seat as my waitress offered me the menu and a glass of water. The dining room was 2/3rd full with varying party sizes in the center area. The menu is more extensive than I remember with breakfast items, full meals, and daily specials. I tried the Alpine burger, medium rare, with a cup of clam chowder (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=1jx_vR_fxszRItRl-OWTLg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), for an additional $4.50; the Alpine is described as garnished with Swiss Gruyere cheese & truffle oil sauteed mushrooms. chowder (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=L9-WED-J_hrHTA8_GrwwCw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). burger was a perfect medium rare (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=LeU5Xkt9foBTbTo022Z_Ug&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). At my waitress ' advice and her reminder that it's a half pound burger, I chose to pass on getting a side of fries. Wanting to clean my palate, I added an iced tea (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Vhdtvwjv4tOhTD6dM4WY6w&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), unsweetened, which she refilled a couple of times. As I ate, I looked around the room, from the open kitchen at the window to the variety of decorations, photos, and artwork. In sitting at my counter seat, I found it humorously ironic in looking at my surroundings. To my right was a cow 'mooning me' (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=PGDt9IBjmKdxiw-A43G0jA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), to my left a pic of the 3 Stooges above the entrance (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=TnxMVoyKSQEmkmISMxmypQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) (the restaurant name is "Mo's" after all), and two cookie jars of a cow and the 3 stooges in front of me (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=No3H84h4bnB_fXtafxGulw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). Christina M. "I've never been a fan of tuna sandwiches for some reason, despite being a seafood lover. But this morning I woke up determined to find a tuna sandwich out here in SF that I might like, something more refined than what mom used to make at home (kind of bland, blah). My husband suggested that I might like warm toasty tuna melts rather than yesteryear's sad, cold, cheeseless tuna sammies, so I jumped on Uber Eats to find one that sounded like it could be a cut above the usual.Actually, what got me to look up Atlas was that someone recommended them on a thread in the AskSF subreddit. When I saw some unique ingredients in their tuna melt (like currant and citrus mayo) and that I could add Emmenthaler cheese for even more melty goodness and fanciness, I felt this was the one to try. Got it delivered.Love at first bite! I bet it would be even tastier next time with kalamata olives for more mediterranean flair and a little more acid. The sandwich also looked extra tasty since it was lightly panini-pressed looking, giving it a satisfying, buttery crunch and a light sourdough tang.Later I tried a totally different tuna melt from a different restaurant. It was out of balance -- WAY too much pickle and WAY too much mustard, and no complexity. Atlas's interpretation was far better - complex and refined but harmonious. Not words you usually think of when you think of tuna melts. If you're a tuna melt person, you might find this one to be next level. Give it a try at Atlas! I can't wait to get it again and experiment with more interesting toppings."

Mike C. "I've been wanting to try this popular sandwich store for quite a while after reading about their original location on Geary Blvd. It's ironic that this one is near my high school and a neighborhood favorite sandwich shop in those days (Herb's Deli - RIP).I've driven by a number of times and stopped once after running errands but there was a line and it was a work day. After hearing that they opened another location closer to home, I waited until now, making a point on a Sunday morning, to finally try them. I studied the menu the previous day and couldn't decide whether to get a hot or cold sandwich. My decision? Both...Arriving here a little before their open time, I found a parking space on the opposite east corner on 25th Avenue. Since it was Sunday, the meter didn't require me to pay. Though I was worried as the space was plush to the pedestrian crosswalk.Walking in, there was a seated lady waiting for her order and two guys at the counter placing their order as I scanned the store. There were sidewalk tables, but being a typical Sunset District overcast morning, it was more comfortable inside. As mentioned, I ordered two sandwiches, the Italian special (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=pvAos9z_BQjgrHm7QRWYXQ), ham, salami, mortadella, provolone cheese, Lou's special sauce, Dijon mustard on a soft & sweet roll with everything (lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and jalapeno spread) and the RB mushroom (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=XszBTLhaRoK28dZ1zbSagg), roast beef, bacon, mushrooms, cheddar cheese, Lou's special sauce on a Dutch crunch roll. Seeing the soup special sign, I wasn't enamored with tomato basil soup today; I later saw another sign further back stating that New England clam chowder is available daily so I ordered a cup which came with a slice of garlic cheese bread (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=yV6WxNjqVHvamvwCibUc3Q). I brought everything home and started with the soup. It was still warm and on the thicker side but filed with mostly potatoes and chopped clams. I then ate the smaller half of each sandwich starting with the Italian. The roll was soft as described and the combination of the ingredients made this enjoyable with a slight kick from the jalapeno spread. Unlike the popular Italian or craft delis that I frequent near my workplace, the sandwiches are about the combination of ingredients, the garnishes, and the bread. Where some are about piling the meats and making their own bread and meats, these are more standard with a balance of meats, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions. The lady at the counter was very friendly and cheerful in greeting and helping customers as I watched a team of three people who put the sandwiches together. Most customers, like me, took their food to go except a father and son who dined a few tables behind where I waited for my order. There is a good selection of refrigerated drinks and potato chip bags as well as a freezer with ice cream bars. I will return and try other sandwiches on their menu."

Kate C. "Fog City dinner is a taste of San Francisco's hospitality and character, just a stones throw away from The Embarcadero. We ran in as the rain started to pour on a winter morning, and Fog City had everything that a solid diner could imagine to have. Wonderful seating variety with great views, immediate seating, incredibly friendly staff with recommendations galore, nice restrooms, and cocktails served at the prime time of 11 am. You will see a myriad of San Franciscans enjoying their time at the diner, from men reading newspapers with their morning coffee, to a date for two old lovers, to even massive family gathering that take up 3+ tabletops. All are going on at the same time, but sound is nicely distributed around the dining area that you see the liveliness and don't hear the chaos (and can hear your own party)! The entire journey at Fog City honestly felt like being in a sitcom episode. We settled on having a lightly boozy brunch with a few selected drinks and a simple cheese wood fired pizza. After we ordered, the hostess brought us a glass bottle of water and cups without request which felt very homey. I cannot stress the attention to the dining experience this establishment had for a streetside diner with the wood platter that accompanies the pizza, presentation of drinks and food, and the obvious care that was put into the preparation of each component. The pizza is actually so so good. The cheese had a perfect melt, the tomato didn't overpower, the basil was just the perfect garnish. Then, the drinks were strong but still kept to their described flavors."

It was my first time here pretty packed. There are only six lanes, so each person was allowed to play for five frames. That was fine by me because I just wanted to see if my Orient Express prowess would return. It didn't. Maybe it was a myth. One gutterball followed another. However, the place itself was well designed, surprisingly sleek but with a nice retro vibe.Shoes and balls were both in good condition.
