I found this place based on Yelp and it stood up to the reviews! The ambiance is modern, calming, fun, unique. This is a great place for time with your friends, date, or special occasion for a smaller group. The food is Pan Asian Italian fusion. They have a small, rotating menu in addition to their regular offerings. I very much enjoyed the chill vibe and fun atmosphere. I had the Wasabi ceasar and it was phenomenal. Not spicy, as expected, but still delicious. The wonton were a nice touch. For my meal I had the drunken noodles with kobe beef. My companion had the corn fritter appetizer and those were very good, and the crab fried rice, which also had great flavor. Price was in line with the quality of food. Bar area is fun and is definitely the spot if dining alone. We sat upstairs. All seating was very comfy and conducive for a relaxed dining experience.

Five stars for our server! Our server, Tony, really went above and beyond. I have a severe shellfish allergy and he went and checked with the chef to make sure there was no hidden shellfish. Good thing he did, because there was lobster stock in the sauce (it was duck pappardelle). I was able to switch my choice seamlessly. There was a small mixup and the original was brought out with my husband's entree, but Tony came out and quickly whisked it away, before checking on my replacement entree. He was extremely thorough, which was appreciated. It can be hard eating out sometimes because my allergy is not taken seriously. Tony apologized profusely for the mixup and comped a dessert for us, which was really nice. The food, itself, is very good. We had the tempura corn fritters, tuna crudo bruschetta, edamame truffle tortellini, and wild boar pappardelle. It is exactly as advertised - a fusion of Thai and Italian. It had the richness of Italian food and the light fragrance of Thai food. An interesting combo, which surprisingly works. The manager, however, was a bit unprofessional. After the mix up, we saw her going to speak with Tony and the other server (who was very confused) about the duck dish making it to our table. We heard her literally shout "you didn't cancel the other one!" at Tony, clearly in earshot of patrons. She appeared to be berating him. Additionally she never came to check on us, which is fine, but usually in a case like this the manager will come over once the mistake is fixed. It overall didn't seem appropriate.

Teetering between a 3 and a 4 but I think this meal was an overall solid 3.I checked in for my reservation about 10 minutes early.I was advised that there are no indoor seats available, only outdoor. I was confused as I thought I made an indoor reservation and I even said to the host that I thought I made an indoor res. We ended up sitting outside to avoid a long wait. I checked my reservation when I got home and it was for inside. The Umai shrimp was the star of the show. It was flavorful and a sizeable app.As for my gochujang gnocchi, this $32 dish should have been bursting with flavor but it fell flat. The lobster was really good, but the sauce was really missing something. My friends fried rice was also flat. She opted for the garlic sauce, there was zero garlic flavor.Staff not too on the ball with water until the second half of the meal.

The Blue Elephant is a beautifully decorated restaurant with equally tasty food! The gold and blue design with elephants incorporated throughout (their bathroom handles are elephants!) is incredibly elegant. I recently went on a dinner date here when visiting PA and this is easily one of the best restaurants I've been to. We got an intimate table near the top of the staircase and were greeted by our waiter who was super friendly and provided excellent service. We ordered the tempura corn fritters, edamame truffle tortellini, lobster gochujang gnocchi, and panna cotta for dessert. The edamame truffle tortellini is a MUST TRY. All of their pasta is freshly made in house and it reflect in how high quality it tastes. The edamame truffle tortellini is delicious, the herb cream sauce with the mushrooms is a terrific pairing and the yuzu foam and chive oil really brings everything together. I loved the gochujang gnocchi too, but I do wish it was a little spicer. The tempura corn fritters were also terrific, I loved the gorgonzola dipping sauce that came with it. I have been craving the tempura corn fritters ever since I had them! The panna cotta came with honeycomb alongside some fruit and a tasty jam. It was so rich and creamy and a great portion to share between two people.Blue Elephant - Wayne is one of my favorite restaurants now. This place will be on my must-go list whenever I visit PA now!

The Blue Elephant is Italian/Asian Fusion and I think whoever dreamed up this idea struck gold. The decor is beautiful and memorable (see: gold Elephant handles)Everything looks incredibly ornate but also... hip? It works is what I'm getting at. The food: I could spend a lot of time being a glutton here. Unfortunately, I could only order a few things off the menu. I started with a thai tea- it was exactly as anticipated, but it's always been my favorite drink to order. Ordered a sushi roll call the mainline for an appetizer. I love tuna... that's what drew me to this roll. It had great flavor, a subtle spice and a little crunch when I bit into it- I was instantly excited for an entree. For dinner, I decided on the Duck Pappardelle. This dish encapsulates the fusion style perfectly. The sauce was a curry base with microgreens. It was beautiful to look at and even better to eat. This is a must visit.

We had such a great, spontaneous dinner at The Blue Elephant a few weekends ago! We were able to snag a last minute reservation within a few hours of our arrival on a Saturday evening and were seated quickly on the 2nd floor in the bright, front section that features plenty of natural light (though the tables are VERY close together!). To drink, I ordered The Delightful Geisha, a cucumber and citrus gin cocktail colored with butterfly pea, which was crisp and delicious, while my husband ordered "The Pineapple Express," which was an excellent smoky Old-Fashioned-inspired cocktail made with caramelized pineapple. From there, we ordered:--- Shishito Peppers: lightly tempura-battered and served with a garlic yuzu dipping sauce that made for a delicious but light appetizer--- Temaki Trio: three sushi hand rolls each featuring a different fish, all of which were very yummy, though the salmon was my favorite.--- Green Dragon Roll: I always love trying a vegan option when given the chance, because I love seeing what chefs can do with vegetables. This was a flavorful, delicious, and texturally satisfying roll!--- Main Line Roll: a Spicy-tuna inspired roll that was a solid spin on a classic--- Gochujang Gnocchi: a fun Italian-Asian fusion with pillowy gnocchi and lobster served with a creamy sauce with a mild kick --- Green Tea Tiramisu: good, but not great. Not particularly sweet, if anyone prefers their desserts to be on the less-sweet spectrum. Overall, a delicious meal, and a place we'd return to when in the area.

The interior designer did a great job designing this space! Every little detail adds something to the visual experience and ambience, even the playlist. Good song selections and the volume was low enough to hold a conversation but also tune into the music every so often. We sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon and were able to order from the brunch menu and full menu. We sampled the Thai iced tea, fried chicken sandwich, green curry lobster pasta, and the Philly roll. The food and drink were delicious. Surprisingly, the green curry lobster pasta was the least favorite dish. It was lacking depth of flavor.

This is a very beautiful establishment that you'll try once, but probably won't be coming back. The food is Asian fusion, and it's only mediocre. Service was good. Just another one to add to the books.

A beautiful restaurant with attention to decor details! The restaurant claims to be Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant but when we went there was nothing really Italian about it. None of the pasta items posted online were actually present on the menu. That being said, the fish they used for sushi was high quality.Aside from the sushi, everything else was mediocre. Plus I question some of the choices they used to name their menu items. Kobe beef? It's hard to believe the marbling on the beef is actually Kobe. And anything labeled Hokkaido milk technically is supposed to be with milk from Hokkaido and I'm pretty certain this is not. Our server was kind but service was s-l-o-w. Our meal took 2.5 hours because of the time it took to get all our food. Also it took about 40 minutes and two reminders to get our initial cups of water. Overall, would recommend for the sushi (and the cocktails).
