Compared to the symphony of flavor that is Ekta (best Indian in the city) this place would be a three, but compared to what I could have gotten at 9pm through GrubHub it's a five. So here we are! When I don't know a place I tend to go with the safest choice, chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken was surprisingly good. I would suggest getting the medium spice level because the mild was quite mild and it could have been a bit more flavorful. The sauce wasn't as creamy as what I'm used to from other places but I appreciated the stronger coconut taste that came through. Garlic naan was brilliant. Samosas were aight. We also got those little donut in syrup jawns for dessert which were delightful. Prices were pretty fair and the food arrived quickly and hit the spot. The menu looks pretty extensive and I would certainly order from here again! Just remember mild here is pretty gd mild. Learn from my mistakes.

An authentic, flavorful meal.I honestly don't know half of what we ordered (I left it up to my friend), but it was delicious!! The chicken tikka was fantastic. Moist and full of spice and flavor. The other chicken dish was also amazing. The garlic naan was fluffy. I am used to thin naan, but this was their interpretation. Good nonetheless. I wasn't totally impressed by their tikka masala. I ordered it spicy, and it didn't have much heat. It also lacked texture and dimension. It was very one note. I would definitely return and order any chicken dish again. The rice was fragrant. Overall, a nice meal. Reasonable prices. Service can be slow. Food is cooked to order.

Ordered takeout. Got a chicken tikka masala, saag ponir, garlic naan, and a lamb gyro. The chicken masala was weirdly sweet. It tasted like tandoori chicken thrown in a Campbell tomato soup with a little hint of spices. The chicken in it was alright but the curry was not good at all. We only ate the chicken pieces and threw out the rest. The saag ponir, which I poorly assumed was saag paneer, was anything but. The curry, again, was oddly sweet. It's a yellow curry with some greens mixed it. What green? No clue. Didn't finish this and threw this out as well. The garlic naan was bitter and burnt. It's was super thin and chewy. No garlic flavor or any flavor at that. Oddly enough, the lamb gyro we order on a whim was the best thing we got but that's not saying a lot. It's not really a gyro but their take on lamb over rice. The white sauce was more of a yogurt chutney and the lamb was spiced differently. Unfortunately this will be the first and only time I will be ordering from here. Aptly named sweets and curry because all the curries were oddly sweet.

My friends and I made a large late night order 30 mins before closing time and the order was completed quickly. The food was rich with plenty of meat, sauce and rice, and prices were reasonable. We were all very satisfied with the food and everything arrived well-packaged (with the exception of one tiny leak in the chicken Tikka marsala). The spice level is pretty accurate (as in hot is not for beginners). Overall very happy that we ordered from here and I would definitely order again to try out different things on the menu.

I ordered for the first time today (a Saturday)1 at 6:25pm. Pretty empty. Tables sticky when I waited for the food. Didn't matter to me too much the overall decor was pleasant. I ordered at 6:25 they estimated 10-15 minutes. My food wasn't done until 6:50. That's fine, under half an hour for take out is usually acceptable especially cause this is a restaurant not a fast food take out place. It seemed like it was a dad and son running the place and that made it pretty authentic. Polite and respectful. However they don't seem like they have a lot of business. As for the food I ordered chicken biryani and chicken curry. I'm hoping this will beat zaikas and maliks for Indian food as it is very close to my house. It has 4.5 star rating before I even tried it. They gave me mango chutney for me to try in a little container. Everything was neatly packaged in the bag to go. Yes! Those tight sealed containers that I can reuse! Portions didn't seem too right for he chicken curry. They left out the plain naan that's supposed to be included with the curry. Oh no.Chicken biryani doesn't look like how it's supposed to. The chicken is roasted chicken almost like a tandoori which I definitely wanted to avoid. Not the type you use in biryani! I feel like I ordered chicken tandoori with rice. And I hate tandoori unfortunately! Doesn't mix well. Garlic Naan was thick. Different than any Naans I had which are normally thinner. It makes it more bready than it needs to but I don't mind. Chicken curry was more of a sauce than curry. The sauce was thin fell off my fork. Ugh! Really Disappointed!! REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS PLACE! Came here starving after not eating all day didn't even finish anything they gave me. Ugh! Maybe they thought they could get away with serving me this cause I'm not Indian! Not worth $24.82 :( plus the $2 tip

Let's start with the service - very friendly...but slow. I ordered for pick up and when I arrived, I had to wait another 15 minutes or so for my food to be ready. The food - I ordered Shrimp Vindaloo (my favorite b/c I love seafood and spicy food). The shrimp were on the small side and the sauce was okay. I ordered 2 garlic naan with my dish (big mistake because they were huge but delicious). I couldn't finish it and I hate that I wasted food. The dish came with Pallaw Rice, which was also okay. I would order from here again but maybe try something from the Grill (Tandoori) instead (when I was there, someone ordered the Chicken Tandoori and it smelled so good.

The food is delicious, all freshly made to order. Hot off the stove and so good! I had dal and chicken curry, both of which were really yummy. The garlic naan I ate on its own, it was so good and not overly garlicky. The people who worked there were very kind and hospitable. I will definitely come back again. 100% recommend to visit.
