Nikki is awesome!! The food is delicious and reasonably priced!! The pork roll and home fries were both amazing. Eggs were light, fluffy, and moist. There were 3 people up front taking care of customers on a Tuesday morning. I will definitely be back if I find myself in the area again.

Broad & Cumberland? Not the spot you think of when you ponder breakfast options. But I live close by and visit Sunny's regularly. It's not very special and close to Center City there are better options. The prices are strange, the receipts are hard to read, and the food often leaves something to be desired. But I like the service, it's incredibly clean, and for what it is, it really is sufficient. Added an extra star because I want this place to get better and I want it to stay open and I want the hood to keep improving and developing in a non-student-centered way.

This is a 5 star diner. Went there for lunch.The food is DELISH, well at least what I had, which was a BLT club and chicken noodle soup. The soup: Obviously homemade with large chunks of chicken, excellently flavored and not to salty. No crackers needed ;) Served piping hot.The BLT - Simple as can be, I had mine on rye. The bread was toasted perfectly (not too dark, not too light) The Bacon was crispy, not greasy and not over cooked. The lettuce fresh and crisp. The prices are excellent. I've heard their chicken and waffles are awesome. Someone also got grits that looked great.The place: The kind of diner you miss, well at least I do. It's very clean, the cooking area is very clean and you can see the chefs work. It's small, but at 1:00 it had business but you had no trouble getting a seat. The waitress was accommodating and really nice. I really do miss places like this. Where you can get a simple, great, wholesome, homemade meal for a low cost, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. I will be coming back often. Sunny's made my day!

This place sucks... Not only are their sandwiches kid sized.... They actually charge you $3 for extra bacon on ur sandwich which costs $3.75....are they serious??? Yes they are...amazing I tell you... Then still managed to send the wrong sandwich..... How??? The owner was dead serious when I asked her how a BLT with extra tomato and bacon came to $9.25...it's $2.95 for the extra bacon and then u have extra tomato..... I asked who does that???? U want me to pay for the sandwich 3x's and it's barely the size of a regular sandwich even with the extras.... Ridiculous!!! I shall never patronage this place again....SMDH

Exactly what you want from a breakfast/brunch/lunch-place nothing more nothing less. No hipster coffee varieties, just simple good tasting coffee. First time I came I had delicious breakfast toast w cheese on rye, I'm not sure it was the same kind of bread the second time but still good.

Hidden gem off Broad Street near Temple University. Diner-like in ambiance, the service is quick and kind. Hearty portions at a $ price. Will go again next time I'm in the area!

I live up the street from sunnys so it comes in handy on those cold mornings you don't have breakfast food at home or you just don't feel like cooking. I usually order French toast with a side of turkey link sausages and it always hits the spot! The staff are usually polite and helpful, but on the weekend it can be a bit chaotic, but overall okay place to grab quick breakfast in the neighborhood. I order from here about 1 per week. Be prepared to use the ATM because they don't take cash.

Great food and atmosphere. The beef bacon, eggs w/cheese, grits, and coffee remind me of a good healthy and fresh country meal.

Always my go-to place when I come to Philly. My cheese grits and beef bacon always on point. Love this place
