I love their breakfast sandwiches but man, I just had one of the worst cheesesteaks I've ever had ... undercooked mush, loaded with grease. Won't buy a steak from here again.

Located in a shed outside Home Depot in the Leo Mall on Bustleton Avenue, Northeast Philadelphia. Rocco's does Italian sausage and cheesesteak sandwiches for your takeout pleasure. It is easy to miss, so lower your view to alongside the front entrance of Home Depot and it is right there. They also do breakfast sandwiches; which is why I was there early on a Wednesday morning. Walking in my senses were assaulted by the hot and sweet coils of sausage grilling on the hot steel. Hot damn, was that great! Two guys worked the counter, with one cutting off a small sample of the sweet for me to try and commanding the spatula and other provisions, while the other was holding down the register, packaging/bagging and pouring coffee. They were totally friendly and hospitable. I opened the well wrapped sammy at my desk. It was a full torpedo roll loaded with 8" of sweet sausage, two scrambled eggs and melted cheese; cut in half and singing its seductive siren song. The coffee was hot and wakeful. Needless to say, this gorgeous child was delicious and filling. At $8.50, it was a deal, too. At least two-three times the size of the standard, each bite was an explosion of flavor and texture, with the sausage literally popping open with every clench. The egg was more passive, but harmonized nicely with the boisterous meat. The soft roll held up to the end. There are two picnic tables in front for those so inclined, but the view of the parking lot does leave something to be desired. So, be prepared to drive away to more inviting locale to be able to relish this epitome of Philadelphia comfort food completely.

Freaking killin it! They make bomb sandwiches. JL put me on to another gem. The Jerk Cheesesteak is my personal favorite with the hit pepper spread to increase the heat. Don't expect FF they only give chips, but even they are the best chips(designed for sandwiches). On my next trip, I'm getting the Gavone

Ok, first, had sausage, peppers, & onions parm. It was fantastic! I don't think I've had a sandwich that loaded with things! Usually, a sandwich place cuts up your sausage and puts the pieces in your sandwich making it appear fuller than it actually is. Not Rocco, you get a long link, plenty of peppers & onions, it's delicious and the price is super reasonable!!! We'll be back again. Forgot to add, there is no dining room to speak of, he's got a couple picnic tables out front. His place is in front of the Home Depot on Bustleton Avenue in the Leo Mall shopping center.

The steak is of cheap quality and loaded with gristle so it must be chopped into thousands of pieces to be made edible. But it, the roll, and cheese are tasty and thus easily warrant the price. The sausage is fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful. Combined with cheese and an Italian roll, the overall flavor is above average. The abundant toppings are fresh and of good quality. The service is impressively fast and friendly. The prices are competitive for the actual amount of food received. The restaurant is literally the cleanest in the city judging by the City of Philadelphia's latest food safety inspection report: only three very minor violations versus the dozens of serious violations at most of the 6,000-plus other Philly restaurants. Search the city's site for proof. The premises also look incredibly clean unlike most other local joints. You will not get the awesome ribeye steak served at the better cheesesteak shops. But if you want delicious blue collar food, this might be your joint. Parking is plentiful. The location is convenient and safe.

This is the best Rocco's hands down - I've been to Cottman ave - R - Blvd - Souderton - They are the fastest most accurate and the staff is super friendly and they are all business they get you in and out. The food is outstanding. Great presentation and not just slapped on the roll. Thanks to the Bustleton Ave Rocco's employees. Appreciate ya'll

We been going to Rocco's for a couple of years and the sandwiches have always been great. Went there yesterday and the guys were different ones than the two who normally are there. Sandwiches weren't the same. Less meat, no flavor and just missing the mark. Pretty sad about this. Hoping it's a one time thing but but sure when I'll go back.

Disappointed with last order. What I got I could have gotten from local pizza place. Rolls much smaller. For over $10.00 plus 8% tax plus tip and travel time for a cheese steak ...l sorry guys you just lost a repeat customer.
