I'd you want a great hoagie and you're in this area- this is the place to go! You can also find Stocks pound cake slices here- can't beat that! Service is usually pretty good. And the wait isn't bad either. Haven't had a bad hoagie or sandwich here at all. And I've been here many times. Prices are decent and they have a lot of other things to pick up while you are picking up lunch, chips, soda, snacks. They also have salads. I recommend you getting the BLT on rye or trying any of the hoagies.

Prior to COVID, my office ordered from Neli's at LEAST twice a week religiously. That being said I don't think I've ever physically been inside their place because we always got delivery and I don't generally order from there while I'm at home because I'm not in the neighborhood. Anyways it's been quite awhile since I've had Neli's because I'm currently working remotely and don't really come over that way on my general day-to-day, but they were just as good as I remember. Overall breakfast sandies are solid. Nothing spectacular, but reliably solid. The fry the eggs for their sandwiches versus scramble, which is great unless you get one that's the stringy end. Like I said, their consistency and reliability is moreso what I enjoy about this place versus overall pizzazz. One thing I will note though, is that a couple of their prices on the menu STILL don't match what they actually charge you, which is fine, I understand the prices are subject to change without notice, but I'm not kidding when I tell you I had brought this to their attention WEEKLY for about a year, and never saw any difference via print. There's no way they didn't order new menus within a year's time, and as it sits right now, it's been 3 years, so just keep that in mind. They also have zayada's spicy hot pickles in the frog as well as Stock's pound cakes which is a PLUS.

I stopped here last night for hoagie. I was tired from work and looking for a quick bite to eat. The store was empty so I was able to order and get out of there within minutes. I ordered a 12" American hoagie for just under $6. The deli meat was name brand, the roll was soft and they actually used a Jewish pickle so I was a happy camper.Ill definitely be visiting again and I would like to try their breakfast sandwiches.

I think Neli's is great. My one complaint is that when you order lunch meat or salads, the scale is not in view of the customer nor is it digital. I'll order 1/2 lb of chicken salad or cheese and it's always over according to the hand written cost on a piece of tape. I don't want to think they're overcharging me but since I can't see the scale a digital label would ease my mind. Don't know if there is a law that the Scale should be in the customers sight since most places it is.

Neli's is a great spot for breakfast and lunch. The food is made to order and prices are good. They also have great daily specials. You can pick up a few groceries here as well.Can't forget they cater too. They carry Dietz & Watson meats.

Their Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich was top notch! Perfect amount of bacon cooked just right, not over cooked and not undercooked. Roll was perfect, just an all around great sandwich. Definite go to for breakfast now!

I was nervous as I wanted to impress my son in law who was in town for our niece's wedding. He has lived all over the world, throughout Europe and from Boston to Ft Brag, to Denver. He told me had a hankering for a Reuben. I knew we had to deliver big time. It was easy peazy, called Neli's got him a beer, (or was it 2 or 3), and Neli's Reuben was the best he ever had!!!

Guy behind the counter was very disgruntled. Slamming doors, throwing things, slamming the phone down when other customers were trying to call. Breakfast sandwich wasn't bad but after seeing all that I won't be back, not very friendly.

This has been a neighborhood gem for decades. Formerly known as "Shortstop", this deli is very underrated. All of their food is fresh and delicious. Phenomenal hoagies and breakfast sandwiches. It's a must have.
