I came to this strip mall restaurant wanting a really good meal. Not everything went well. The service was good, with a quiet young waitress attempting to answer our questions about the food preparation. She was cordial, but knew little about the temperature of the items or the way they were prepared. The cabbage beef soup was quite good, but not served hot enough. The potato knishes were excellent. Good size and delicious. The pastrami special was nicely prepared and had a side of fine home-made chips. Decaf coffee was quite good, and served hot in a large mug. What went wrong? A trip to the restroom after the meal was a disaster. Filthy and unattended. The water in the sink didn't even get hot. Had I made that trip first, I would have not stayed for the meal. With food potential at 5 stars, it's a pity you don't have time or staff for important maintenance.

I can't post the picture of my Reuben Omlette because it is soooo good. No canned corned beef but the same delicious delicatessen slab they use on their sandwiches (sliced paper thin) Just the right amount of tart from the sauerkraut and tanginess of the Russian dressing plus it was not swimming in grease from the Swiss cheese. I added onions & peppers to my home fries, toasted rye bread (buttered my self) and hot cup of black coffee with a smidge of sugar. Pure deliciousness. Can't wait for next weekend. I promised my cardiologist I would space out my indulgences.

Delicious. Kind service. Not too busy on a late Saturday afternoon. Clean, mild volume of other customers.

Food was good, I went the day of the holiday and was able to get what I needed. I will certainly go back but next time I'll order ahead. Since I'm not a fan of commercially made platters , I'll order ahead!!!

Food is always great. Service depends on your server. But, they all have a sense of humor ,which helps. I think they are better than many of the local places that are known for Deli. The place itself is comfortable.

Knishes & Dishes has been our favorite for breakfast on Sundays. The food is delicious and the service is fabulous. The whole vibe is friendly. We make sure we sit at a booth where Sharon is our waitress, she is personable and just so nice. Noah is a helper who has the best smile and makes sure we have plenty of napkins, coffee and anything else we need. We ALWAYS make time to discuss the Eagles and the Phillies too!! Great way for us to ease into our Sunday!!

I eat here once or twice a week and never had a bad meal. Today i went there for breakfast and ordered a vegetable omelette. When it arrived the eggs were very brown, the vegetables were raw and the goat cheese was missing!I called the waitress over who i have had many times before and asked her if they had a new cook and she looked at me like, how did you know? Not sure if the owner reads these reviews but , if you are charging premium prices (12.00 for an omelette)you need to serve a premium product! No offer to make it right by the restaurant Going to find it hard to return here.

For starters the hostess is miserable and dresses like she just rolled out of bed. The service is slow at best. The problem is it's the only deli in town.
