I was looking for a breakfast spot to try out while visiting in Philly. I found this spot on Yelp and it was right down the street from us. It's a small place on the corner, but walking in we were immediately greeted and took some time to look at the menu. The place is very homey.I went with the s'mores iced coffee and my sister got the strawberry green tea. Both were very good and tasty. For our food we decided to eat in and get the Box Breakfast. Whew, the reviews do not lie about the tater tots, they are super crispy. The pancakes and French toast were delicious, everything was well seasoned as well. Definitely check out Homegrown if you're in the area.

Their waffle was really good and same with their coffee. But theres no seating (like two tables) and it gets really crowded and busy so if you want to get food here just take it to go.

Homegrown Coffee and Creations in Philadelphia has won me over with their crunchy tater tots, coffee and breakfast burritos. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a welcoming atmosphere.This breakfast burrito was a burst of flavors wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla. The tender and breaded chicken, perfectly scrambled eggs, melted cheese, came together in a harmonious dance of taste.As if the burrito alone wasn't enough to win me over, the Tater Tots took the experience to a whole new level of delight. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they were perfectly seasoned, making them the ideal companion to the burrito, not to mention my passionate love for scrambled eggs. The friendly staff at Homegrown made the experience even better, providing excellent service and answering any questions I had about their menu. The cozy ambiance made it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy a delightful breakfast.I wholeheartedly recommend Homegrown Coffee and Creations for their delicious Chicken Breakfast Burrito, flavorful Tater Tots, and exceptional coffee. A must-visit spot for locals and visitors alike!

Really innovative, delicious, and hearty breakfast sandwich here, with egg, cheese, and potato slammed between two incredibly fluffy and fresh waffles, drizzled with maple syrup. The sweet and savory combo is so good. 5 stars!!!

Solid all around. From the coffee to the food to the service. Lots of different flavors that you can mix with coffee made from freshly ground beans. Breakfast menu is simple but delicious with rolls from Cacia's bakery. Had a pork roll egg and cheese on an everything roll. Think everything bagel seasoning on a philly hoagie roll. Great combo. Also tried the breakfast burrito with sausage egg and cheese. It comes with salsa which I wish there was more of. Burrito was medium sized but hefty. Service was super friendly. They knew regulars by name and made newcomers feel very welcomed. Lots of philly sports memorabilia on the walls fitting the south philly vibe. Affordable prices and great service takes this place over the top

This is the spot every neighborhood needs. I come grab my americano in the morning. It's worth the chilly walk. Good people, good food, what more can you ask for. I come here 3-4 times a week.

Homegrown Coffee is one of the things I look forward to the most when I visit Philly from California! Even have to buy their grounds to take home. Highly recommend everything they have!

Let's just call it....anytime you see an establishment called Homegrown and Coffee in the same sentence you have to try it...no questions asked you just have to pop your head in there and look for signs of cooking and coffee. With HomeGrown you immediately get both...I was surprised to see such an easy online ordering system so I ended up ordering two to three meals worth but it was fine...more for the next day and more to share. I lucked up and found relatively close street parking and walker into the store to the perfect smell of breakfast and coffee. Everything is cooked fresh straight from the griddle. I took a seat to wait for my food and was instantly greeted and asked if I was waiting for an order. I tried the steak and cheese, pork roll, pancakes to go, and a breakfast burrito that makes you want to drive from MD. My coffee was just as good...locals near and far I'm sure frequent this neighborhood gem. The menu has a little bit of everything for all to try. It's Philadelphia so not much seating inside but I'm sure you can make it work.

The food was Amazing food! Best coffee around! Cute local coffee shop! The people and staff were so friendly.Atmosphere was top notch!
