First Watch

I struggle to understand how they are so busy, all of the time. Not that there are many good options in this area, but they're not like this. I guess in all fairness I haven't had their lunch. Their breakfast, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The breakfast potatoes are always under cooked, the frittatas are usually over cooked, pancakes are the same boring box mix batter that you would expect in some hole in the wall dinner. And why, oh why is everything so bland? I'm not wrapping my head around a restaurant that doesn't season food. The service is okay, nothing bad, but also nothing impressive. I've never seen anyone remove plates when they're done, they can stack up and I guess they just wait until you leave. If you want food that is over priced (and I rarely think any food is over priced), lacks flavor, in a tight and uncomfortable environment...they may be for you. If you don't like those attributes, try somewhere, anywhere else.

First Watch is a suburban staple. We love the seasonal menu, especially in the fall. The service is always friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and rustic, and the food is hearty and delicious. The pumpkin pancakes are fantastic--and we recommend also ordering one of their fresh juices such as the morning mediation (it's 50% off on Mondays!). Fantastic experience, 5/5

We were seated right away. There were several options on an additional summer menu. I opted for the salmon frittata with salmon and roasted vegetables which include dried tomatoes and onions. We also had the lemon blue berry cornbread which was very sweet but tasty. Overall good service, good number of options on the menu and you can sit outside.

First Watch is an interesting place. It's a chain that feels like a one off, that focuses on seasonal specials. To me they're either really good or just ok but I appreciate the effort. The servers are very friendly but also seem very busy. It's a very loud restaurant, so expect to speak up and you'll also hear a lot of your neighbors conversation

Great breakfast/ lunch option in Montgomeryville. First watch has a nice rotating seasonal menu to keep things fresh. Food is always fresh and well made. It is a loud restaurant, so if you are looking to chat or catch up with a friend don't go on the weekends, unless you want to yell across the table.

Great brunch spot. Sandwiches are great and the portions are very generous. The service is always expedient and extremely attentive. This place is very organized compared to similar establishments and seem to be managed very well.

Unfortunately I didn't take any phone of the food - but this place was amazing. The atmosphere - comfortable and inviting CLEAN!, pricing was affordable. Service impeccable and if we were old friends not 1st time customers. Stacy took great care of us, and had great conversation about recipes and family. Will absolutely go back here if I'm in the area again.

Second time been to this particular franchise This location is new nearby my place and Sunday breakfast time it was packed we were lucky to be seated right away As soon as we got the food, people started flowing in and lining up in waiting area We ordered regular coffee, 2 omelets, one breakfast sampler, one orange juice and one kale juice, one pancake,, everything came out with tip 85 something which is large bill for breakfast Its fresh but not sure worth the price? But it was good dining experience staff is attentive except that stop calling customer "honey" disrespectful. They bring you check but You have to get in the line to check out ..

I've been coming to First Watch for breakfast and brunch since I was a little girl. The food quality, friendly service, and overall ambiance has always been better than your average diner. The redesign is a breath of fresh air, and this new location is fantastic. I'm sure on weekends you can get caught in the weeds, but on a regular weekday it should be a pleasant experience. The menu is excellent and the food is great. They could use more servers and less hosts. I'll be back with friends and family soon. I highly recommend this particular location.

Finally made it!I stopped by in December and they weren't open yet.Decided to get over there this morning...glad I did!The food was excellent, the service was top notch and the interior was warm and inviting!I never had turkey sausage gravy before but it tasted amazing! The potatoes were well seasoned and the eggs were perfectly prepared. A nice big mug of coffee and my own insulated pot!I will DEFINITELY be going back! Every now and then I like to go for a drive and stop somewhere special for a meal out...I think I found a new destination.
