We ordered 3 items; pad Thai with shrimp, Tom Yum Ta Lay and Pad Ka Praw with crispy pork. The Pad Thai is a total disappointment. The noodle is overcooked and way too soft for our liking. The taste is ok. I only can give 2 stars for the pad Thai. We like the other two dishes. The Tom Yum Ta Lay deserves a four stars. The broth is in the salty side (a little less fish sauce would be nice). My favorite dish is the Pad Ka Praw with crispy pork. I give 5 stars for that dish. The restaurant doesn't have nice ambiance. It's pretty bare and need extra attention in cleaning the table.

Chon Tong which means golden spoon in Thai is the real thing. The chef is Thai and makes some authentic Thai dishes. We tried Pad See Ew which is a tamarind infused rice noodle dish with broccoli and your choice of protein. Very good. The Tom Sab Moo soup is a pork broth spicy sour soup with pork, cilantro, red onions, tomatoes and lime. So good that my wife can't stop talking about it. The place deserves more business so there was no wait. It is hampered by no parking nearby and closure of the across the street Hahnemann. All dishes are between $12- 26, but most are under $20. The decor is dated but you come for the food, right?

An unassuming thai restoraunt in the middle of nowhere (at least to me as a visitor of the city). It was a small cozy resto with decent service and some lowkey décor. Gold coloured cups was a plus. Chicken skewers - White meat was dry, but the peanut sauce was really good. Pad see ew - pad see ew was tasty. The stirfried dish was seasoned well with lots of different flavour. It was only missing a bit of char, otherwise really good. Would recommend. Some decent food, but as a tourist to the city, I would not be coming back. There are other restos for me to try. But as a local, I can see myself coming back to grab casual meals.

My bf and I stopped by for dinner the other day and had a pretty decent experience. We were the only customers inside and it was very quiet with simple decor. Great view of the city, but they have posters covering the window and blocking the view.We ordered Pad kra paow with crispy pork, pad Thai with chicken, and Yum khao phot. Not your typical Thai restaurant. Menu is very limited and serves street food. No curry here! Rice and noodle dishes are very limited.Everything was tasty and the winner was the pad Thai. Appearance was different and had a pinkish hue to it, but had nice flavors and spice. The corn salad was great and refreshing, but i wish it was cold and not room temperature. The crispy pork dish was fatty, crunchy and filling. Not my go to Thai restaurant, but we were hungry and it hit the spot! Service was also great.

I happened to find this place by coincidence looking at google maps. It's a small Thai restaurant and I think they are run by this nice lady who makes the food and brings it out you directly from the kitchen. It was such a nice and homey vibe it really felt like I was in someone's home and they were cooking me dinner. The food and prices were also very good. I was really surprised about how much I liked the pork broth soup because I'm pretty picky with soups. The pork belly got good reviews from other people, but personally it was a bit too salty for me and I probably would not get it next time. The corn salad was probably the yummiest thing for me. It was soo amazing: light, refreshing, sweet, and citrusy. The pad Thai was also very good and all the food just tasted very homemade and fresh. They have a lot of different things on their menu including Thai drinks and desserts. I will definitely be coming back to try more things on their menu

Came back to Philly recently and my hotel was nearby so I got food here twice in a week. Some new dishes I tried were the Khao Pad and Pad See Ew. And as usual, the food was extremely flavorful. You don't need to order it spicy because they do non-spicy beautifully. The tofu is such a pleasant texture of springy and chewy. They're generous with their portions and vegetables. I dined indoors once and there's only one person working the front. It's usually not crowded so it's fine. Great for a quick bite because you're not competing for a seat. While they seem to be mostly a to-go business (as evident by how sparsely crowded it is and how many pick-ups I saw when I dined in), but it's also a nice spot for a calm meal. Definitely check them out because they're a hidden gem for sure!

It was quiet during lunch which was perfect for my away from people break. Great service and delicious Tom yum Kung. Would have like a little more spice but forgot to ask. They have a lunch special which I will have to try next time too. .

Ordered takeout online. Pad Thai and Tea Cake were incredible and the Thai Coffee was great too. Food took a while to be prepared although it was during a rush. Picking up was quick and easy.

Pad Thai was really good. I got the spicy option, and it was decently spicy. Wish there was an option for not porten cause $3 got a few pieces of chicken is a little much. It's really nice service and relatively quick. The only thing I'm upset about is that a can of spirit was $3 but other then that very good food
