Chix & Wings

With my favorite chicken shopt, Chix and Bowls, being closed, I was excited to try this place because I heard it was the same people behind the restaurant, which you can definitely see in the menu. Unfortunately, this place fell flat for me. The ingreditents seemed of lower quality, the fry was not as good on the chicken, the chicken itself was smaller. Guess I will just wait for their other spot to (hopefully) reopen.

hey i dont know anyone whos eatin here, i dont know anything about their menu or their chicken - but i will tell you the Filet o fish (with some tartar sauce nd cheese) is SLAMMIN, had pickles, nd lettuce, nd jus straight FLAVOR. nd im not kiddin u thats what everyone in there ordered after us. Fries were slammin to, i was dippin the whole sandwich PLUS the fries into the ketchup. And its a fair size too, its not like a little mcdonalds filet o fish. i burnt my mouth on it it was that good.Im sure any low reviews are due to the fact their first experience wasnt the filet o fish. cause that would change any opinion quick. Heck, i was JUST leaving the hospital from a week stay and i had zero clue what a chix and wings was. BUT, they had that filet o fish sandwich 'sign' advertised REAL big -i was like O Snap i need to try that, cause i dont like chicken at all, and especially (as i believe its either asian or party asian owned) i dont do asian chicken.

Uh...no. I mean, this place uses whole wings and I think that's pretty cool but there is otherwise nothing special about this place. My husband picked up some for us today after leaving Jefferson Hospital. It was our first time trying this place out. He ordered garlic parm and jerk chicken wings which came with one side each. He ordered fries and chix rice for the sides. Everything was just bland, the sides were particularly unremarkable. None of the flavors really stood out which is just a shame. I would not return to this place. I do appreciate that they were not very expensive and pretty quick hence the 2 stars!

Ordered delivery tonight after walking by this place so many times and never stopping in, and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken sandwich with cheese and a side of onion rings as well as the crispy chicken bowl with chix rice and a side of mild creamy sauce. Yes, I, one person, ordered all that. I couldn't decide what I wanted. It's been a long week, okay?!The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was still pretty crispy even for delivery and the pickle, cheese, lettuce, and onion game added some class, texture, and flavor. I had ordered the onion rings because why not and those could have been crispier but they were still good. I dipped a few in the mild creamy sauce.The bowl was also pretty fantastic once I added that mild and creamy sauce in. I don't know what magic that sauce is made out of but I thought it was a great mix of heat and flavor. I'm not too sure about the partitioned takeout container because it made it difficult to mix it all together, but I got a couple solid bites of chicken, rice, vegetables, and sauce together before I fell into a food coma. I like the crisp on the chicken. The vegetables were more than just broccoli and carrots, which was fine by me. I love me some squash. Overall, not my favorite chicken bowl in the city (could use some more crunchy texture like some lettuce on the bottom maybe?) BUT still a solid contender.The sandwich was definitely my favorite and I would totally order that again with some of that saaaaauce. I'm interested to try their wings sometime too and maybe some other sauces. Solid chicken spot!

Girl at reception need to learn how to talk with clients ! She is literally yelling if you ask questions!Never come back !

I had one of their rice bowls a while ago that did not leave me wanting to return. However, I had a few recent recommendations for their salads and wings that made me give them another try. I got the 6 piece soy garlic wings with fries. The fries were crispy and tasty. The flavor of the wings was very good, although they were not evenly sauced, so some parts were just dry. I also didn't want to continue eating them when I came upon a feather in one of the wings. I may go back to try the salads.

A question and a comment. Very disappointed that 20th St. store has closed. Will you be opening another location? 11th St. - there is something wrong with your phone - whenever I call, you cannot hear me talking and you hang up.

Check your receipts! The chicken sandwich really was delicious--flavorful and moist. I had much difficulty communicating with the staff. But I will not return to C&W until I can get some clarification about this:My order with tax came to $8.85, and my card was charged $9.20 by "China's Peaceful Reunification," not "Chix & Wings." The charge later would post correctly as "Chix & Wings" for $9.20. (1) If there are additional charges for cards or card types, these need to be reflected on the receipt. (2) Where is the money going? What establishment is this, really? I am suspicious. Check your receipts!

Fast service. They sent me fries while I waited and cleaned a table specifically for me. Eat here everyday.
