"I haven't been here in over 20 years and I have to say I'm not sure why I waited so long to come back! The food and service was excellent! I made a last minute reservation here with my girlfriends last night and the food did not disappoint! The ambiance is wonderful the dining room has beautiful photos of Italy throughout! I always get the zucchini crab cake because it's amazing , it's always consistent in flavor and presentation. We ordered the grilled octopus which was perfectly cooked and the vibrant and flavorful beet salad! It was so nice to sit and chat over wine and great food. My other girlfriend got the rigatoni ala vodka which is another favorite dish of mine! The best kept secret to this place is the creamy homemade limnoncello!! It's absolutely delicious! I'm so glad my girlfriends could be treated to such a darling food experience and take a quick pause on our hectic lives to reconnect. The staff was friendly and allowed us to take our time and really enjoy our evening!! I can not wait to go back!!"
"We enjoyed our lunch here today! We did have to wait about 20 minutes after we were seated to have any server come to our table so I took away a star. Out of the 7 people at our table, 4 got the turkey sandwich, two got the roast beef, and one got the BLT. The sweet potato fries were a bit over-done, but otherwise everyone thought the food was great. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and would definitely return."

"Came here for happy hour and this place is so cute and very insta worthy. It was very dark inside with music blasting. I would recommend this for a girls night or even date night. Going during the day felt weird as soon as I stepped outside to see it was sunny.Service was great and the food was outstanding. We ordered the kimchee fried rice, spring rolls and edamame. Highly recommend the rice and edamame! The fried wontons that is complimentary was also tasty and addicting.Drinks were fun but not strong. We each had 3 drinks and they were so easy to drink, but wasn't strong at all.I'd still return for a girls night during dinner before going out or another special dinner occasion!"
"The music made me want to dance !! I went with my cousin on a Sunday, and the 90's reggae as jumping ! I loved it. The food was great, I got jerk wings as an appetizer, Yum! And Salmon, rice and plantains for my entree. So good !!! We sat at the bar and Calvin (I believe) was very attentive and had a great Jamaican accent We ended our meal with a beautiful piece of cake for my cousin's birthday I will definitely return Oh btwPrices were very reasonable Food delicious Drinks were good Trust me, go there!"
"First time here and was very pleased. Service was excellent and so were the cocktails food and service."
"Stopped by the outdoor rooftop bar in old city. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night. They had live music which was pretty awesome. The view was obstructed by a wall but the decor at the Stratus really added a good vibe. We had a cocktail at the bar. I got Fraise Tagada which was made of hennessy, strawberry syrup, grand marnier, lemon juice. I wasn't a big fan of this drink. It tasted very basic. For 17 bucks a drink I expect better quality."

Came here for a corporate dinner and while everyone was raving about the restaurant across the street, I find this to be a great space for the first warm evening of 2024 in Philly.I wasn't drinking on this particular evening so I couldn't comment, but everyone seemed to have fun at the bar and it seemed to be a pretty happening place on a weeknight located just 7 blocks from Independence Hall. There were so many options and when given the choices I always ask the server what I should have and she told me I shouldn't miss the crab cakes. They were moist and seasoned perfectly so much that I could not even recall savoring them. For those who don't like fish, they were not too fishy either. The seafood fried appetizer platter was a great starter along with the burrata. Dessert was amazing too. Definitely a nice place to take friends for a warm casual dinner on a nice summer's eve.

New management? Maybe that is why things are much better. It seems the menu got a good update, and the fish special I had was fantastic. I'm glad this placed turned around from what it was. Still great people and great music, but now the food is much better... It's definitely back on the list.

Walked in to meet my daughter for brunch, couldn't help but notice the beautiful dimly ambiance of this place, the decor was inviting. The Dj was doing his thing spinning the tunes and vibing with Usher (my favorite artist) Upon being seated, shortly after the photographer stopped by our table to see if we wanted pictures taken. She took about four shots they were beautiful we purchased two. Our waitress came and took our We ordered the mimosa flights and I ordered the lamb chops, scrambled eggs, potatoes and she ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict with potatoes. The lamb chops were thickly cut, but a little bland, eggs and potatoes were good. My daughters order was good but her eggs Benedict was over cooked. So nothing big to complain about wld definitely go back cause the food and vibe was good. Our server was nice and very attentive to our needs.

OMG.O. M. G.O.M.G.Do food orgasms come with red sauce?* * *Red sauce Italian has a justifiably bad name in many parts of the country. In Philly, Red Sauce Italian is not only good - its' wonderful.Of course, not every Philly Italian restaurant will sell you great Italian Red Sauce Cuisine.Tourist traps abound. But D'Angelo's is the real deal.* * *Rule Number One of Great Red Sauce Restaurants:You don't absolutely have to order red sauce.I had ziti for a side dish, and that comes with red sauce. The red sauce here is completely wonderful. But that's not all they got.* * *There may be other rules of Great Red Sauce Restaurants but I don't know what they are.* * *What I do know is this ...a) Their antipasto comes with enough vinaigrette on top to make it count as a salad.I was in love. The cold cuts and cheese weren't that great - but miraculous olives made everything worthwhile. And yeah, I could kill for the tuna.b) D'Angelo's has great great veal.Do you know how hard it is to get good veal in the United States?I come from Texas. What we call veal in the State of Texas is considered to be legally unfit for human consumption in thirty eight states of the Union plus the District of Colombia. The basic butter, lemon and wine sauce they put on top of veal at D'Angelo's is pure paradise. And so are the peppers and onions on top of that.I died and went to heaven.c) I am sure that many of the desserts at D'Angelo are great. But I can't see ordering anything other than their cannoli. And yes, I come from Texas. What they call cannoli in the State of Texas etc. etc. etc.Once again, I died and went to heaven.* * *(Yeah, yeah, yeah, I died and went to Heaven a number of times that night.Hey, I'm Buddhist. We reincarnate fast.)* * *Overall, a totally amazing place. It made me fall in love with American Italian all over again.

5/5 for the absolute bangers the DJ played tonight (Saint James?) and his transitions between the songs/remixes were great!!Drinks were fine. Food was pitifully small and not well balanced in flavor according to a friend. Space was tight since the weather was so cold and everybody was avoiding being outside.

I'm visiting Philly for the weekend and found Vango as a suggestion on tik tok for nightlife. We arrived close to midnight on Friday June 3, 2022 and they charged us $20 for cover entry (male and female). They also told us that there were no more people allowed in the rooftop so we had to stay in the inside. We ordered regular the hookah which was $29 and I ordered two long islands which were about $10 each. They were pretty strong but the cups were small so I wasn't as tipsy as I would usually be from two long islands. The drinks were good though and the ambiance of there establishment was as very nice. Very cute, plenty of places to sit as well. The bathrooms were a little small inside of the stall but just get in and out lol. I was really impressed with the hookah as it was veryyyyy smooth and the hookah man did a great job changing out the coals for us without being asked. The only cons I would say is having to pay ti get in without having the benefits of the rooftop access (although they said it was full to capacity). Also the music was just decent. I'm from Texas so maybe I'm just a bit picky but they didn't play a lot of new songs and a lot of the songs seemed like they were from a 2000's playlist. But overall the establishment was very nice.

Delicious good and great ambiance! They also have great cocktail menu. This is such a wonderful place to hangout with your friends or come for a casual cocktails and bites date. I like that most of their menu items are tapas style - bite sized, making it very sharable. The waitress was so bubbly and helpful, providing great recommendations as well. We ordered:- Combo Lettuce Wrap Platter for 2 (skewers, spring rolls, and the Bánh Khọt) - mini banh mi- banh xeo taco (mini crepes) - Thịt Kho (caramel used pork belly) This was plenty of food to share with 3 people. Everything was tasty! It wasn't super busy when we went for a weekday dinner but definitely still try to make reservations if you can.

"Decent hookah bar in a great area. They have rooftop seats and nice lounge ambience. There was a line and there is a cover ($10) but hey it's Saturday night what do you expect. Plus place was packed!Hookah was great, not exactly the flavor I asked for but it was smooth and came out reasonably quick. The drinks were strong but also expensive! Not a cheap place but not overly expensive either. The lemon pepper wings were 5 star worthy! Great crispy wings with just the right amount of seasoning. Music also was on point all night! Good job DJ Overall I'd come back! And I'd recommend"
"Miss Saigon was a nice change of scene. At Miss Saigon, you still get your classic dishes but served in a lounge type setting. The cocktails here are AMAZING, by the way. Our party of 3 shared a bunch of finger food type dishes, including the Bánh Xèo Taco, Skinni Mini Bánh Mì, the Thit Kho, and the Combo Lettuce Wrap Platter for 2.Even though this might not look like a lot of food, the three of us were sufficiently full. Everything was delicious as expected, but nothing really blew us away. I have to say the Thit Kho was everybody's favorite dish of the night. A lovely, braised pork belly and pork ribs dish that was packed with so much flavor. The Combo Lettuce Wrap Platter for 2 came with 4 Bánh Khọt, 2 spring rolls, and 2 skewers, and was such a great bang for your buck for the variety and portions we got. The cocktails were super fun, and some even incorporated Vietnamese ingredients, like nothing I've seen before. The cocktails were incredibly well executed and tasty. I would love to have 3-5 of them, but then I would need to be wheeled out of the restaurant. I highly recommend the Miss Saigon cocktail if you like fruity cocktails. Psst, that's the one where they plant a big bubble on your drink, and then smoke flows out when the bubble bursts. Needless to say, we will be back!"
"So, my friend and I were walking back the car from Love park and decided to take a quick detour into the Hotel Sofitel in Philly. For starters, the lobby was very inviting with a welcoming aroma - not food but a lovely scent - so we wandered into the lounge to find happy hour specials. Well, thank goodness we did! We hit the jackpot! Happy hour was in full effect as cocktails were 1/2 off! Yeah!!Our bartender, Kellen, was superb! I mean, STUPENDOUS!! His recommendations were even more tasty than they sounded! He served me up the famous Libertè with a twist of - his special ingredient - that was delectable! It was the perfect mix of sweet and ummm sweet! Just how I like it! My friend ordered the cheesesteak rolls and loved them! Perfect appetizer to the real thing! #wheninPhillyDefinitely hit the Libertè Lounge and get served up a tasty cocktail from the friendly bartender Kellen!"
"A fancy looking karaoke lounge. I was impressed - especially with the private bathrooms in each suite. They let you bring your own food in, which was awesome too.The only issues we encountered include the security guard up front who told us several times we weren't on his list. Turns out he only goes by the first name on the reservation, so if you provide a full name, he won't think outside the box. The karaoke room also got quite hot.Service was nice though. Very friendly lady who arrived in the room just seconds after you hit the call button."
"I'm in town this weekend visiting my sister, so I Iooked up coming Yelp events in the area to learn more about what's hot! I see there's an event happening here soon. I immediately bookmarked this place. Looked up the menu and told my sister we should check them out. I'm so glad we did.We made reservations, which I would recommend. They get busy, and I can see why. It really has a nice vibe. Multilevel and very cozy. It's somewhat new - just a few months! Congrats! Our server, Avy, was excellent. In fact, everyone here was very welcoming and hospitable! I really appreciated that. We both got one of their mocktails - mango punch. It was good - not too sweet. There is a full bar available! The food was good. We started off with samosas - very flavorful. I enjoyed the green sauce it came with, but I like tamarind sauce with my samosas. These came with ketchup (specifically Heinz according to my sister). For the main dishes, we ordered the smoked chicken tikka medium level spicy, and it had a nice kick. My sister had the korma and she loved it. She'll be back this week for "SIPS.""
"Two floors.Great musicDrinks not so expensive Awesome vibe!!!Hit up this spot with 20 other people and the DJ kept us on the dancefloor till the place closed down...now thats what i call a PARTAY!!!"
"I must say that I was skeptical about this place but it exceeded my expectations. On a Friday We pull up to a shabby building in upper Darby and while the outside looks sketchy, the inside is wayyyy better. They have a separate entrance for the restaurant portion and then a second entrance for the lounge. Dinner was great. Def well seasoned and tasty and portions were good. I def couldn't eat it all as I got full fast. The waitress was also nice. The lounge itself exceeded my expectations. You walk into a club atmosphere and people are literally dancing nonstop to afrobeats. It was soo fun. Did I mention the drinks were STRONG!? Yasss. They seemingly had bottle service but not sure how that works. The DJ had the crowd rocking. Def plan to go back on a different night to see if the vibe is the same"
