"After a trip out of town, we were craving some Indian food and based on the Yelp rating chose to get takeout from this place. The food here overall is quite good although portions are generally smaller than other local places. The chicken biriyani was pretty typical but particularly spicy. The goat korma got good reviews and the butter chicken was not unlike the kind we get at other Indian restaurants. We also ordered the butter naan which was somewhat thicker than others we have had but still good. No kheer was available but the gulag jamun was ready but needed more syrup. Service was ok although a bit perfunctory."

"Twas a rainy night in Philly and we were looking for a new spot to eat since our fave thai place closed early. I searched thai food on Yelp and this was the closest place that popped up and we went for it. The food waiting time was 30 minutes and we lived 27 minutes away which was perfect. As soon as I walked up to the door, someone greeted me with a big smile and offered me some water while the food was coming out. So nice!The food was packaged REALLY WELL. The crab rangoons were good. They lost their crispness on the way home which was my fault because I made an ice cream stop. Only thing I wish is there were more rangoons. There were 5 pieces , but my usual spot gives 7 for the same price point. The pad thai was solid. Lots of veggies, a good amount of spice, and they didn't skimp on the chicken. I would definitely give them another try if dining in is an option. The place was pretty small, but very vintage and intimate which could make for a chill date night."

"Just stopped in for lunch and this food was so good! Easy to order on a kiosk- perfect for the casual atmosphere in a cool historic silver diner. Very friendly service- the food was brought out from the kitchen as things were ready and each thing we ate was better than the last! Had a pork bun, fried rice cakes, salt and pepper chicken, and their signature Changan biangbiang noodle. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The noodles were a soft, chewy consistency, and the chili sauce and pork was so flavorful. In response to another reviewer- we were also very happy with the service, they provided recommendations, brought out our food, and cleared our table. Maybe you just experienced some early-opening adjustments....So happy to have this regional cuisine as an addition to the Ardmore area. I also recommend checking their website for their hours. It seems what's posted here isn't accurate- I went on a Monday afternoon and they were open. They also have a parking lot in the back!"

"Chon Tong which means golden spoon in Thai is the real thing. The chef is Thai and makes some authentic Thai dishes. We tried Pad See Ew which is a tamarind infused rice noodle dish with broccoli and your choice of protein. Very good. The Tom Sab Moo soup is a pork broth spicy sour soup with pork, cilantro, red onions, tomatoes and lime. So good that my wife can't stop talking about it. The place deserves more business so there was no wait. It is hampered by no parking nearby and closure of the across the street Hahnemann. All dishes are between $12- 26, but most are under $20. The decor is dated but you come for the food, right?"

Delivery was about 45 minutes and we ordered a wide variety- steamed pork dumplings, crab Rangoon, chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, shrimp and mixed vegetables, and hot/sour soup. Everything, aside from the crab Rangoon (very disappointing, very small and barley any filling) was incredible. Potentially the best Chinese I've had in the city and look forward to ordering again!"

"In terms of my experience with Potstickers food and in-house service, I'd give them five stars. However, the takeout service is very inconsistent which is why I'll rate them as a solid four. Even pre-COVID, there's very long waits for takeout and they don't provide accurate wait times. The double happiness and happy samurai rolls are delicious, especially if you like rolls with spicy mayo and other sauces. I also love their lettuce wraps, the portion is very generous and I almost always have leftovers. I've never ordered anything here that I didn't like, though. Even if you aren't a sushi fan, they have a wide variety of other dishes. When I dined in here on Saturday they were definitely busy, so I'd recommend making a reservation. Service was quick and our waitress was very attentive, even though it was during their dinner time rush."

"Ordered takeout from here tonight and had it delivered. We were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour which was understandable because of the snow and it did end up taking an hour. I hear from people who have ordered from here before that it usually takes less than 20 minutes to be delivered though! The food was good - I ordered a general tso's dinner box and it came with pork fried rice, an egg roll, and a large portion of the general tso's chicken. Large portions and tasty but the rice lacked some flavor. Other people in my group got sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli which also looked good. Prices were reasonable as the dinner box only costs $9.75. Overall a great meal for a day snowed in!"

I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and how good the food was. To be honest, I feel I could have skipped NYC's Japan Fes this year and simply ordered from Momoka instead. The chicken was light and crispy. The curry was a nice consistency and had a good flavor/texture. My only thing is I would have taken some spice as I prefer a spicy curry but it was still great bc it was kid friendly. My kids liked it too. The bubble tea was delicious and had a nice mango flavor. Last but not least is the crepe cake. Delicate but rich with a nice vanilla flavor. I would definately order again! If you're looking for a little something different for dinner, give Momoka a try! The hostess was very warm and the restaurant inside was inviting if you prefer sit down rather then take out."

ENVIRONMENTAs evidenced in the pictures the ceiling are high and the room is moody and inviting. Each visit I'm greeted warmly by the staff and typically have no trouble grabbing a table. Although, the business is becoming more bustling since it first opened so I would quickly pay a visit before it gets difficult in the future.FOODSweet! Savory! Spicy! My oh my the spices at times almost didn't play nice(my sinuses took a hit) but it was mighty alright. Choose your corresponding spice level wisely! "It appears that a majority of the reviews on the Nine Thai Kitchen Yelp page are for a previous occupant of this space, Chez Novak. Must have been special, but its memory is wasted on the current southeast Asian inhabitants who have taken the cuisine in a significantly different and delicious direction. The dining room is small, with room for only 22 chairs. Lots of houseplants and reminiscences of Phuket. Friendly and attentive management actively engaged with customers. The owner is the chef. His family runs the front of house, but he delivered my Drunken Noodles with Chicken to me steaming hot from the wok. Broad rice noodles, mixed with pieces of tomato, broccoli, green and red pepper, onion, basil leaves and lemongrass, with medium Thai chili heat that made my nose run as expected. It was very good. It was cool to be back in my old neighborhood (26th & Brown). Things have changed for the better since the end of the last century. Girard Avenue has a nice peoples' vibe with lots of diverse culture and family streetlife. Harper's Ice Cream is right next door. My next stop."

The summer rolls were pretty good, I know that they are a simple little recipe, however, they can be hit or miss. I also ordered the black tea which came out in a cute little personable tea kettle. There was a young man an older man and a woman that I could visibly see that were working here and service was good they were very attentive. I asked the gentleman about these things, and he said prices changed. I asked for a menu, but he said the order has not arrived. I guess the lesson here is to be prepared to lay an arbitrary price for mediocre banh mi and coconut soup.Maybe a second try (not on a Monday) will set the hook for me?"

Yesterday, out of a severe sushi craving, I stumbled upon Panda Asian Fusion. My expectations were low, but I was totally pleasantly surprised!!!For starters - the green salads were good because the Japanese ginger dressing was on-point.The fried pork gyoza was really scrummy and I was pleased that they came in increments of 6, not 5 (easier for sharing). I'll definitely be trying more of their gyoza and shumai in the future.The spicy tuna sushi had crunchy bits in it (breadcrumbs?), which I liked. The Philly roll was exactly what it should be. They happily cut all my pieces into 8 as opposed to 6.The sushi came in increments of 2 (versus 1 - hallelujah) and was absolutely normal.I will definitely be returning to PAF and am thrilled that I have access to decent sushi!"

Fried rice, rice noodles, lo mein, sesame chicken, general tso chicken, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. I can honestly say that EVERYTHING was impressive! We had plenty of leftovers, but we polished them off within a day.We tend to get the same things over and over- the rice noodles are a favorite!- but we also tried a few new things. The one dish that BLEW MY MIND was the beef and broccoli. The beef is outrageously tender and reheats amazingly well! I also think all of the chicken in their dishes is lovely. White meat chicken, perfectly moist!The only thing I can say is "negative" would be the lo mein. It is NOTHING like any Chinese lo mein I have ever eaten. It is thick, ribbon-like noodles. I was pregnant the first time we ordered and I was VERY disappointed in the lo mein. Like, crying pregnant lady disappointed. It isn't BAD, but it's just not for me.Added bonuses are the delightful chocolate fortune cookies and a reward stamp card. You get a stamp for every $25 spent and eventually get a $25 gift card. Also- cute side note- all of their prices are $x.88... $5.88, $11.88. I emphatically recommend giving Noodle 88 a try!"

"I've had Kabobi's food twice now. Once for takeout and once for eat in. Parking wasn't hard to find in their lot. The staff was friendly and the menus are pretty straight forward. The eat-in experience was ok, but the inside felt more like a fast food environment. Plastic ware was available as well as serve yourself fountain drinks and water. (The self serve filtered water they have for customers was a nice option over bottled)The takeout experience wasn't great. The food was ready on time, but we ended up spending over $120 for four meals which is ridiculous for the entrees we ordered. The chicken tikka masala was below average, the sauce was too sweet and more like a bastardized tomato sauce. The rice lacked flavor and the lentils were sweet and not appetizing. I will admit that the dry chicken tikka was pretty good. They were skewered charred on the outside and had a decent charcoal flavor, but again the rice was boring as well as the chickpeas. My buddy had Kheer (aka rice pudding) for dessert and enjoyed it. My eat in experience was for lunch. The staff looked like they were gearing up for the day so wait times were a bit long. After talking to the guy up front about the various menu offerings and their indoor charcoal grill, I ordered a chicken kabob roll upon his recommendation. A kabob roll sounded intriguing - chicken kabob with lettuce and sauce rolled inside of naan bread with mint chutney on the side. While waiting for my order, I watched the front display slowly load up with various kabobs and lamb chops as the previous nights Sixers game was replaying on the single TV they have mounted on a wall. If you don't order something fresh off the menu they do have combo meal choices available for less of a wait. They consisted of several menu options in a warming station by the checkout counter that could be mixed with rice and naan. When my roll arrived I was digging the aroma. Two fresh kabobs wrapped inside of a soft warm naan bread had me drooling. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away by the flavors, but It was still a pretty cool idea. I'd return to try their smokey wings, but other than that much better quality and cheaper options can be found in Bensalem."

They are slider style so not super filling, which is perfect because you will want to try more than one."
