"After a trip out of town, we were craving some Indian food and based on the Yelp rating chose to get takeout from this place. The food here overall is quite good although portions are generally smaller than other local places. The chicken biriyani was pretty typical but particularly spicy. The goat korma got good reviews and the butter chicken was not unlike the kind we get at other Indian restaurants. We also ordered the butter naan which was somewhat thicker than others we have had but still good. No kheer was available but the gulag jamun was ready but needed more syrup. Service was ok although a bit perfunctory."
"Twas a rainy night in Philly and we were looking for a new spot to eat since our fave thai place closed early. I searched thai food on Yelp and this was the closest place that popped up and we went for it. The food waiting time was 30 minutes and we lived 27 minutes away which was perfect. As soon as I walked up to the door, someone greeted me with a big smile and offered me some water while the food was coming out. So nice! The food was packaged REALLY WELL. The crab rangoons were good. They lost their crispness on the way home which was my fault because I made an ice cream stop. Only thing I wish is there were more rangoons. There were 5 pieces , but my usual spot gives 7 for the same price point. The pad thai was solid. Lots of veggies, a good amount of spice, and they didn't skimp on the chicken. I would definitely give them another try if dining in is an option. The place was pretty small, but very vintage and intimate which could make for a chill date night."

"Just stopped in for lunch and this food was so good! Easy to order on a kiosk- perfect for the casual atmosphere in a cool historic silver diner. Very friendly service- the food was brought out from the kitchen as things were ready and each thing we ate was better than the last! Had a pork bun, fried rice cakes, salt and pepper chicken, and their signature Changan biangbiang noodle. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The noodles were a soft, chewy consistency, and the chili sauce and pork was so flavorful. In response to another reviewer- we were also very happy with the service, they provided recommendations, brought out our food, and cleared our table. Maybe you just experienced some early-opening adjustments....So happy to have this regional cuisine as an addition to the Ardmore area. I also recommend checking their website for their hours. It seems what's posted here isn't accurate- I went on a Monday afternoon and they were open. They also have a parking lot in the back!"
"Awesome food! If you're tired from all the run of the mill Chinese/Japanese food around here then this place is for you! The food is fresh and delicious and their sushi is the best around imo. I was very impressed and this place will be my goto Asian cuisine moving forward."
"Amazing- they are back open for dine in eating and the all you can eat. Love the ayce as everything is freshly prepared and it includes the sushi. Staff is very pleasant and it is clean inside."
"Chon Tong which means golden spoon in Thai is the real thing. The chef is Thai and makes some authentic Thai dishes. We tried Pad See Ew which is a tamarind infused rice noodle dish with broccoli and your choice of protein. Very good. The Tom Sab Moo soup is a pork broth spicy sour soup with pork, cilantro, red onions, tomatoes and lime. So good that my wife can't stop talking about it. The place deserves more business so there was no wait. It is hampered by no parking nearby and closure of the across the street Hahnemann. All dishes are between $12- 26, but most are under $20. The decor is dated but you come for the food, right?"
"Party of 2 dined in on Tuesday after noon for late lunch, we ordered soba noodle with katsu ($16) and tempura udon ($14) two rolls( spicy tuna, shrimp tempura roll $13) We were way too full, we left some udon but other than that, ate pretty clean. Miso soup and salad that come out with food were salty/too strong, we mixed lots of hot water to miso soup to dilute. We probably could have skipped the rollsI liked soba combo.."
"Service was very good. The seafood fried rice was good. Didn't seem to be the freshest, but taste was good and overall very solid meal"
"Ordered delivery on Eat24 to satisfy a Chinese craving. Delivery was about 45 minutes and we ordered a wide variety- steamed pork dumplings, crab Rangoon, chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, shrimp and mixed vegetables, and hot/sour soup. Everything, aside from the crab Rangoon (very disappointing, very small and barley any filling) was incredible. Potentially the best Chinese I've had in the city and look forward to ordering again!"
"In terms of my experience with Potstickers food and in-house service, I'd give them five stars. However, the takeout service is very inconsistent which is why I'll rate them as a solid four. Even pre-COVID, there's very long waits for takeout and they don't provide accurate wait times. The double happiness and happy samurai rolls are delicious, especially if you like rolls with spicy mayo and other sauces. I also love their lettuce wraps, the portion is very generous and I almost always have leftovers. I've never ordered anything here that I didn't like, though. Even if you aren't a sushi fan, they have a wide variety of other dishes. When I dined in here on Saturday they were definitely busy, so I'd recommend making a reservation. Service was quick and our waitress was very attentive, even though it was during their dinner time rush."
"Ordered takeout from here tonight and had it delivered. We were told it would be 45 minutes to an hour which was understandable because of the snow and it did end up taking an hour. I hear from people who have ordered from here before that it usually takes less than 20 minutes to be delivered though! The food was good - I ordered a general tso's dinner box and it came with pork fried rice, an egg roll, and a large portion of the general tso's chicken. Large portions and tasty but the rice lacked some flavor. Other people in my group got sesame chicken and chicken and broccoli which also looked good. Prices were reasonable as the dinner box only costs $9.75. Overall a great meal for a day snowed in!"
"Fresh yummy sushi. The only issue is its byob.. Yet, in the same shopping center there is a wine and spirit shop so not too bad of a problem."

Wanted to try this new Pakistani restaurant for a month and finally got a chance to order some take out food. Ordered goat biryani, Chicken sheek Kabob, and gulab jamun. The restaurant is in a strip mall and the interior is kept nice and looks good place to eat with family too, the next door you can buy fresh meat too. You will have a lot of parking spots and no need to worry about it . As I spoke to the folks inside the restaurant, they are passionate about their food and quality and the authenticity of the cuisine, that's great to hear. The service is great as the food was ready by the time I reached it! Coming to the food , the kabobs are delicious and will order again again , I will have to try their chicken Charga one day. In Biryani the meat was cooked to perfection, however the biryani was uncooked rice and no flavor at all this could be because of last minute rush but I haven't even finished it just discarded it but will give it a try very soon !!

Best Thai food in Havertown, maybe even the surrounding area, Chaiya Thai offers the intimacy of a small, family owned business coupled with superb Thai dishes. With so many people focused on the increasingly emerging local foodie scene in Havertown, places like Chaiya Thai are frequently overlooked. Located in the Oakmont neighborhood of Havertown, most folks will overlook it with nearby Brick n' Brew and Wawa. Small and family-operated, this is I think a two person operation. You'll be greeted by a charming older woman who runs the business. Inside are a few tidy tables and welcoming traditional decoration. They recently revamped their website for quick and easy online order (the better option than calling, as they are frequently busy and may not pick up right away). If you do decide to visit, there is metered parking along the street and paid parking lot on Darby Road. The food is superb - easily the best in Havertown, and really competitive against any other place in and around the area. My wife and I have tried nearly everything on the menu, but we keep going back to the exact dishes you'd expect - the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles never fail to disappoint, and while foodies may roll their eyes, we are unabashedly fans. I also have a theory that you can tell a quality of Thai place by the quality of the Thai Iced Teas. The teas here are the perfect balance of sweet, milk, and tea flavor with an Instagram-able look. In sum, the food here is excellent and lovingly made to order. You may find a bit of a wait when if you pick up, as your order is finished off when you walk through the door to, ensure it's at its freshest. Your patience will be rewarded and you won't leave hungry.

The setup here is meant to be like a fast fresh spot: you order at their one kiosk, pay in advance, get your food from the counter when your name is called, and clean up after yourself when you're done. The menu is limited but changes often, depending on what they have in stock. The day we went, they'd run out of the mutton pita bread soup (yang rou pao mo), which is what we'd really wanted, so instead we got the chang'an noodles and braised beef noodle soup, as well as the chives pastry and jujube cake. I really enjoyed the chewy texture of their noodles, which are clearly handmade, and the flavors were balanced, too, not too spicy or sour or salty. The chives pastry was disappointing, though--they bake it instead of frying it and it's not as crisp or tasty as the ones we're used to. I enjoyed the jujube cake, though it wasn't anything special. Overall, it's a solid spot, and again, I really love their noodle texture, but there are other places that do these dishes a bit better, and sometimes for a bit cheaper. These dishes have a more homemade feel, which some people might prefer!

I live right down the street from this establishment so it's always great for a quick take out option on those nights we don't want to cook. Some of my favorites are the Shrimp Mei Fun, Shrimp Lo Mein, Chicken and Broccoli, General Tso Chicken, and Shrimp Roll. The workers are always so kind and remember their regulars. The quality is consistent and the food is always ready fairly quickly.

I happened to find this place by coincidence looking at google maps. It's a small Thai restaurant and I think they are run by this nice lady who makes the food and brings it out you directly from the kitchen. It was such a nice and homey vibe it really felt like I was in someone's home and they were cooking me dinner. The food and prices were also very good. I was really surprised about how much I liked the pork broth soup because I'm pretty picky with soups. The pork belly got good reviews from other people, but personally it was a bit too salty for me and I probably would not get it next time. The corn salad was probably the yummiest thing for me. It was soo amazing: light, refreshing, sweet, and citrusy. The pad Thai was also very good and all the food just tasted very homemade and fresh. They have a lot of different things on their menu including Thai drinks and desserts. I will definitely be coming back to try more things on their menu

Love this place! That Tuna Sundae app is off the charts good! Our server recommended the Fire Dragon roll and it did not disappoint! And it came out flaming on fire - so cool! And they have Uni with Quale Egg - very rare for restaurants in the burbs to carry either in the menu. Really like the decor - tables and chairs looked brand new and stylish. We will be back!

Long post alert****Last nights date night pick up was the best spot that Hubby took me too here in Philly. When I say phenomenal service, recommendations and the food oh my God! The vibe from the owner was simply top tier! I promise you if any of my friends are visiting Philly (west Philly) or you live here..please patronize this black owned restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The oxtail fried rice creative and perfectly delicious. They have anything you could imagine and more. The taste and flavors are over the top! Their smoked greens and kale mix were the best and she doesn't incorporate any meat in them on top of that. I had the salmon fried rice as my dish...let's just say you need to try it no doubt. My husband had the shrimp and chicken bang bang with the best green beans served with it. He wants it again! The tea was so good. We had their pineapple and strawberry tea freshly made. Everything is prepared fresh there. Checkout the menu and you will see that there are dozens of options. STAR FUSION EXPRESS will see me again, before I head back to Dallas next week! My to go order will be flying back with me!

"I mean it's mall food, so I don't expect anything too fancy or healthy. If you're in the mood for some asian lo mein and entree, this place is a decent choice. I especially liked their salt and pepper chicken. Good seasoning and crispy chicken. Food can be a bit on the greasier end, especially their noodles but it's not a total deal breaker."
"I tried the crispy pork bao buns, mango bubble milk tea, chicken cutlet curry with jasmine rice and vanilla mille crepe cake. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and how good the food was. To be honest, I feel I could have skipped NYC's Japan Fes this year and simply ordered from Momoka instead. The chicken was light and crispy. The curry was a nice consistency and had a good flavor/texture. My only thing is I would have taken some spice as I prefer a spicy curry but it was still great bc it was kid friendly. My kids liked it too. The bubble tea was delicious and had a nice mango flavor. Last but not least is the crepe cake. Delicate but rich with a nice vanilla flavor. I would definately order again! If you're looking for a little something different for dinner, give Momoka a try! The hostess was very warm and the restaurant inside was inviting if you prefer sit down rather then take out."
"DELICOUS! That one word could summarize my experience trying various dishes at this Korean restaurant. The menu is simple and the ambiance is bold. ENVIRONMENTAs evidenced in the pictures the ceiling are high and the room is moody and inviting. Each visit I'm greeted warmly by the staff and typically have no trouble grabbing a table. Although, the business is becoming more bustling since it first opened so I would quickly pay a visit before it gets difficult in the future.FOODSweet! Savory! Spicy! My oh my the spices at times almost didn't play nice(my sinuses took a hit) but it was mighty alright. Choose your corresponding spice level wisely! With that said, there was no dish that was a disappointment. You'd be doing yourself a disservice to skip over this delicatable spot nestled in Older City. Happy Eating!"
"It appears that a majority of the reviews on the Nine Thai Kitchen Yelp page are for a previous occupant of this space, Chez Novak. Must have been special, but its memory is wasted on the current southeast Asian inhabitants who have taken the cuisine in a significantly different and delicious direction. The dining room is small, with room for only 22 chairs. Lots of houseplants and reminiscences of Phuket. Friendly and attentive management actively engaged with customers. The owner is the chef. His family runs the front of house, but he delivered my Drunken Noodles with Chicken to me steaming hot from the wok. Broad rice noodles, mixed with pieces of tomato, broccoli, green and red pepper, onion, basil leaves and lemongrass, with medium Thai chili heat that made my nose run as expected. It was very good. It was cool to be back in my old neighborhood (26th & Brown). Things have changed for the better since the end of the last century. Girard Avenue has a nice peoples' vibe with lots of diverse culture and family streetlife. Harper's Ice Cream is right next door. My next stop."
"Great service and a great meal! The Szechuan Dumplings were the right combination of savory and spicy. The Mango Chicken was a little sweeter than we were expecting, but it was really good. The Thai Basil Beef was the best in my opinion. The spice balanced nicely with the vegetables and beef. Our server was friendly and prompt and we felt well taken care of. The atmosphere was nice and it felt comfortable. They also got the food out fast, but they were slow so I can't speak to their speeds at busier times."
"Very yummy! Nice ambiance and the service was great. Very fresh vegetables and well cooked meat!! Sushi delicious"
"Came back with a slightly bigger group the other night and still have the same thoughts from my first review. The service was OUTSTANDING, decor is adorable and establishment is very clean and big.The food is very good, but not my favorite Thai restaurant. However, it satisfies my cravings and hits the spot! We ordered all dishes to share. Ordered the Dungeness crab Rangoon, papaya salad, chicken pad Thai, vegetable green curry and chicken Thai fried rice. The winner was the fried rice! We ordered it medium spicy and it was absolutely delicious. We all had the same thoughts about the pad Thai as last time. The crab Rangoon was also delicious.Byo spot that I still recommend you trying if you're ever in the area, AND the prices are amazing!"
"A quaint little spot in Manayunk, to pop in and have some nice yummy Pho or any other delightful dishes they have on the menu. My grilled shrimp Pho was really yummy and it hit the spot aaahhhh!! lol the shrimp were grilled to perfection and the broth was on point. The summer rolls were pretty good, I know that they are a simple little recipe, however, they can be hit or miss. I also ordered the black tea which came out in a cute little personable tea kettle. There was a young man an older man and a woman that I could visibly see that were working here and service was good they were very attentive. I definitely recommend going to this restaurant and trying some of their amazing dishes and their hospitality.Enjoy!!"
"I have driven by Pho Ben City hundreds of times. I stopped by for pho and banh mi. At the register, my total was double what I expected from online menu photos. I asked the gentleman about these things, and he said prices changed. I asked for a menu, but he said the order has not arrived. I asked if there was a current website with menu prices, but he said no. I guess the lesson here is to be prepared to lay an arbitrary price for mediocre banh mi and coconut soup.Maybe a second try (not on a Monday) will set the hook for me?"
"I've been disappointed in the sushi in West Chester until I found Fusion!! This place is so good! I love the Fantastic Roll. For non-sushi people, my mom gets chicken teriyaki and says Fusion is much fresher than other places around here. Also the restaurant was large, clean and staff was super attentive. Highly recommend."
"As a city-to-'burbs transplant I had pretty much given up on being able to ever get edible sushi without driving back to a more urban area. Yesterday, out of a severe sushi craving, I stumbled upon Panda Asian Fusion. My expectations were low, but I was totally pleasantly surprised!!!For starters - the green salads were good because the Japanese ginger dressing was on-point.The fried pork gyoza was really scrummy and I was pleased that they came in increments of 6, not 5 (easier for sharing). I'll definitely be trying more of their gyoza and shumai in the future. The spicy tuna sushi had crunchy bits in it (breadcrumbs?), which I liked. The Philly roll was exactly what it should be. They happily cut all my pieces into 8 as opposed to 6.The sushi came in increments of 2 (versus 1 - hallelujah) and was absolutely normal.I will definitely be returning to PAF and am thrilled that I have access to decent sushi!"
"The food here is great. I've been here many times and have never had any complaints. Their food is flavorful and authentic. Owners are very nice and super friendly. They also offer these huge bone marrow soup which is delicious. Their Thai boat noodle soup is also very good and authentic. I have no complaints about this place and would recommend this place it to anyone."
"Stopped by here the other night while on vacation in Philly. Great late night spot with healthier options than your typical greasy pizza and fries. We ordered the California rolls - sooo delicious, cold, and fresh! We also ordered the app wings (plain) - nice and crispy! Followed by the gyoza - big hit for the kiddo, devoured every last one lol!You also get a coupon for future use when you check in with Yelp!!Food was great, nice ambiance inside. It was late so we had to take it to-go. Definitely try this spot out!"
"Enjoyed Sakura tonight. My daughter was so enthusiastic about this restaurant and I enjoyed the food. I got the sweet potato roll and the California roll. We shared the chicken fried rice. The service was fast and pleasant. Our check was around 28$ and the most expensive item was the chicken fried rice around 10$. It was delicious. We ordered the less expensive rolls in the 5-7$ range.I hope to come back again soon. I liked the atmosphere and I believe a nearby table had brought wine. So it may possibly be a byob. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. It has a welcoming vibe, with tasteful art and lights as well as sleek furniture. The restroom was clean too."
"Good Asian food -Thai, Chinese, Suchi ,nice atmosphere, accommodating staff. Check out their website for menu and hours."
"I'm not sure how I haven't yet reviewed Noodle 88, but it's fantastic restaurant that deserves a review! On our first trip in, we decided to try a variety of items. Fried rice, rice noodles, lo mein, sesame chicken, general tso chicken, dumplings, spring rolls, etc. I can honestly say that EVERYTHING was impressive! We had plenty of leftovers, but we polished them off within a day.We tend to get the same things over and over- the rice noodles are a favorite!- but we also tried a few new things. The one dish that BLEW MY MIND was the beef and broccoli. The beef is outrageously tender and reheats amazingly well! I also think all of the chicken in their dishes is lovely. White meat chicken, perfectly moist! The only thing I can say is "negative" would be the lo mein. It is NOTHING like any Chinese lo mein I have ever eaten. It is thick, ribbon-like noodles. I was pregnant the first time we ordered and I was VERY disappointed in the lo mein. Like, crying pregnant lady disappointed. It isn't BAD, but it's just not for me.Added bonuses are the delightful chocolate fortune cookies and a reward stamp card. You get a stamp for every $25 spent and eventually get a $25 gift card. Also- cute side note- all of their prices are $x.88... $5.88, $11.88. I emphatically recommend giving Noodle 88 a try!"
"I've had Kabobi's food twice now. Once for takeout and once for eat in. Parking wasn't hard to find in their lot. The staff was friendly and the menus are pretty straight forward. The eat-in experience was ok, but the inside felt more like a fast food environment. Plastic ware was available as well as serve yourself fountain drinks and water. (The self serve filtered water they have for customers was a nice option over bottled)The takeout experience wasn't great. The food was ready on time, but we ended up spending over $120 for four meals which is ridiculous for the entrees we ordered. The chicken tikka masala was below average, the sauce was too sweet and more like a bastardized tomato sauce. The rice lacked flavor and the lentils were sweet and not appetizing. I will admit that the dry chicken tikka was pretty good. They were skewered charred on the outside and had a decent charcoal flavor, but again the rice was boring as well as the chickpeas. My buddy had Kheer (aka rice pudding) for dessert and enjoyed it. My eat in experience was for lunch. The staff looked like they were gearing up for the day so wait times were a bit long. After talking to the guy up front about the various menu offerings and their indoor charcoal grill, I ordered a chicken kabob roll upon his recommendation. A kabob roll sounded intriguing - chicken kabob with lettuce and sauce rolled inside of naan bread with mint chutney on the side. While waiting for my order, I watched the front display slowly load up with various kabobs and lamb chops as the previous nights Sixers game was replaying on the single TV they have mounted on a wall. If you don't order something fresh off the menu they do have combo meal choices available for less of a wait. They consisted of several menu options in a warming station by the checkout counter that could be mixed with rice and naan. When my roll arrived I was digging the aroma. Two fresh kabobs wrapped inside of a soft warm naan bread had me drooling. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away by the flavors, but It was still a pretty cool idea. I'd return to try their smokey wings, but other than that much better quality and cheaper options can be found in Bensalem."
"Was looking for some quick food when in Philly recently and stumbled across this place. One of the more unique foods I've had in awhile. Their bao buns are all made perfectly. Super soft and flavorful. I had the hot motha clucka, which was a buffalo chicken style one, and the prime time, which was a cheeseburger style. Both were incredible and loaded with flavor. They are slider style so not super filling, which is perfect because you will want to try more than one."
"Bleu Sushi is an absolute gem tucked away in the city! Walking in, you'll feel like you've stumbled upon a cozy hideaway, even though it's more like a delightful surprise than a hole in the wall. The ambiance is charmingly quaint, making you feel right at home the moment you step inside. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! It's like a flavor fiesta on your taste buds. The fish is so fresh it practically swims to your plate, and the dishes are as vibrant as a work of art. Each bite is a delightful dance of flavors that leaves you eagerly anticipating the next. And let's not forget the service - it's as good as the sushi! The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and the food arrives at lightning speed, ensuring you don't have to wait long before diving into sushi bliss.Bleu Sushi is the kind of place that deserves every bit of hype it gets. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or just dipping your toes into the sushi sea, this spot is a must-visit. I'm already planning my next trip back for another round of their incredible rolls. Highly recommend!"
"Love this place, friendly staff and pet friendly looove it!!! And all the food are delicious, happy tummy all the time."
"I thoroughly enjoyed Buddakan, from the atmosphere, service, and of course food. We ordered the dim sum sampler, pork belly bao buns, and the lemon sesame chicken. Everything was amazing and flavorful! I would highly recommend!"
"This was an absolute 5-star dining experience. I truly cannot think of one complaint at all. The staff was so friendly and nice and the service was quick and they were attentive. Food was unreal. We got the chicken lettuce wraps, calamari and crab rangoons. SO YUMMY. The rolls were all fresh and delicious. Prices are so reasonable and the experience is elevated. They could charge so much more, but don't tell them!!!! Dessert was great. BYOB!!!!!! Highly recommend."
"Woondal offers an exceptional dining experience with their exquisite Indian cuisine. From aromatic curries to flavorful biryanis, each dish is expertly crafted to perfection. The quality of ingredients shines through, creating a delightful culinary journey for your taste buds. With impeccable service and a cozy ambiance, Woondal earns a solid 5/5 rating for its outstanding food and dining experience. I am genuinely excited to go back!"
